I’ve been a guest in town for two months and have thoroughly enjoyed my time at this OrangeTheory! The staff are incredible, kind, and professional. They have been so welcoming to me since I have been in town. Keep up the great work! Stop by if you’re in town.

Easily a 5-star spot. I was brand new to Portland and feeling pretty lost in my fitness journey, when I decided to try out Orange Theory. I walked in and I ended up staying. The coaches are supportive, and everyone there is friendly. It quickly started to feel like a second home. I’m honestly so grateful for the positive vibe and the community. If you’re feeling a bit out of place or just need a solid gym with great people, this is the place to go. I have since relocated to Florida, but I just wanted to say thank you to the SE Powell Team.

I've always hated working out but I've learned to appreciate it in my own way and I think a lot of that has to do with OTF. The structure works well for me and takes all the thoughts out of it. Coach Juli isn't there often but she is my absolute favorite coach. Her energy and intensity really helps me push myself and not give up. She also play the best playlists. If she taught everyday I'd be there probably just a lot everyday too.

Orangetheory is the closest thing I have to a religion lol.
I love it because you get an effective and efficient full-body workout without any of the planning or mental effort. You just show up and try your best and it's always worth your time. No matter how tired and sluggish I am when I arrive, it soon dissipates after class starts. The energy the coaches and the class bring elevates your spirit and performance. I always leave feeling accomplished.
And of course my home gym SE Powell is my favorite location. The people are nice and friendly, the coaches are great, the space is nice.

I love this location and just love Orange Theory! I have been going for about 6 months now about 2 times a week (sometimes 3). I'm am easily in the best shape of my life right now because of it. I have been searching for something like for MANY YEARS and am so happy my wife tried it out and convinced me to come with her.
I really enjoy the variety of workouts, the different coaches and the people who show up ready to put in the work. It is a very open and welcoming place.
I have become someone who really looks forward to working out now. I have adjusted my eating habits because of it as well. It's just all around been a great experience for me and I can honestly say it is somewhat life changing, in the best way possible.

Been a member here for awhile. This studio has a great community atmosphere and the classes always deliver. Love the coaches, especially head coach Sierra! I go 3-4x a week and have seen a positive impact on my physical and mental health. Totally hooked.

Signed up online, arrived for my first class, front desk person said I should come back a different time due to the intensity of the workout that day. What a terrible experience.

One of the nicer studios. Very spacious, with lots of room on the floor. Fans are light (they don't blow your face off). Easy lot parking in the morning but there are food trucks so maybe different in the afternoons. Just went for one class. Adam was great and gave lots of suggestions on form. 💯 The showers are clean (why do the curtains only go to the knees?? ) and they have toiletries.

I LOVE THIS GYM! The coaches are super friendly and motivating. The workouts are designed so that if I just show up and do my best to keep up, I get a thorough, full-body workout (strength and cardio) that changes every day. They get more out of me in an hour than I would get in 2 hours on my own. I've never felt better.

I’ve been a member off and on for a few years now. Like most gyms they definitely have ways of getting extra money out of you. There are fees if you cancel within 8 hours of a class or don’t show up. You also have to go through another billing cycle when you end your membership, so you basically need to cancel 2 months before you actually want to stop going. Once you figure out the how to avoid extra charges, it really is a great gym. I love that modifications are provided throughout class and there’s no shame if you’d rather walk than run. I can’t speak of other locations, but people of all ages attend and women outnumber men slightly at this one. Most people have conventional body shapes/sizes and I’ve never seen anyone body shamed for not meeting the same “norm” (of course I can’t speak for all experiences). The classes are pricey but I’m always the most consistent with exercise when I have an active membership here. Definitely give this place a try!!

I'm not one for group focused exercise, I'm more of a lone wolf... but when a cute guy invites you to work out, what's a single girl to do? Was it a date... I'll probably never know, but at least I had a great time, got a good workout, and learned that "gyms" aren't as scary as those high school weight rooms that reek of old wrestler's sweat and unwashed sneakers. OT is downright beautiful, it's interactive, and the people are really nice...

So so happy with this location. Great coaches and staff with equipment that is current and well maintained. And super clean all-around! The no-shower-happy-hours are also fun right in the same shopping center with great food carts and John's Landing anchoring with the beers and wine! It's definitely one of my best hours in the day when I go. Thanks, SEPOWELLOTF!

Even though their most prominently displayed signs say ‘cancel any time’ they actually have a 30 day period before you can cancel your membership. So if you decide you want to move on two weeks before your next billing cycle, you will have to pay for an additional month. Might be standard for many gyms, but still a totally arbitrary rule they’ve made to get an extra month of billing out of people. And their rates are not cheap so it’s annoying to fork over that money when you don’t want to be there anymore.

Historically I've not been a gym person. Never been highly into weight lifting or any kind of cycle training, I've always been a self-motivated runner, but never done a lot of cross training. This place is really changed my outlook on well-rounded exercise habits, I really genuinely enjoy this place. We are Portland Oregon Eastsiders and regularly attend both of the Powell and Goat Blocks locations. The staff is always super friendly, gets to know you on a first name basis, genuinely seems to enjoy their job and what they're doing for others, coaching you to be the best version of yourself. It's not the least expensive place, but I 100% feel like I'm getting my money's worth. Highly recommend!

Standard (great thing in OTF’s case) OTF. Clean, well organized, one wall of the workout room is windows. The coaches are on top of it and bathrooms (not showers) are open.

I have been going to Orange Theory since 2016, and visited dozens of studios. OTF Powell is my favorite, and I'm so grateful to have them as my home Orange Theory. All the employees are upbeat, professional and know my name- it just opened but already feels like family. KaLee the manager answers all questions promptly and is so warm and welcoming. Coach Emily and Coach Arielle's classes are my favorite, with great playlists, and high energy. Coach Emily always pushes me to grab a heavier set of weights- I appreciate that she believes in me! Really you can sign up for any class, because every single coach will bring out your best self and offer an amazing workout. I also appreciate all the close attention to cleanliness and social distancing. OTF has brought a sense of peace and normalcy to this crazy year. Thanks guys!
