I finally joined a gym. I realized I needed to strengthen legs, arms, and more! I joined Physiq Fitness because they have Trainers available; and without my Trainer Rene, I wouldn’t know what to do at the gym! Rene is very patient with an “old lady”! He guides me through excellent workouts that he tailors to my goals; and he challenges me just enough! I am extremely happy with my membership at Physiq and with my Trainer Rene!

Physiq is great! I switched from a very expensive studio that only provided the same thing over and over. Physiq offers SO much for such a great price. I get to attend a variety of classes (Barre, High Fitness, Body Balance, Pilates, Yoga, Push and so many more!), access to massage chairs and hydromassage beds (Q-fit membership-it’s worth it), tanning and the gym floor with all the weights and equipment. They have amazing and badass instructors. Shout out to Amanda who lead an amazing Body Balance class today 🙌🏼. It’s been so fun trying out all the classes and every instructor I’ve had has been fabulous. The coolest part…I am recovering from a severe neck injury and since I’ve joined Physiq, I’ve been able to cancel my chiropractor, chiropractic massage and PT appointments! I absolutely love it ❤️.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at your gym, particularly regarding the so-called promotion and overall service quality.

The promotion presented felt very misleading — I was charged a full month’s membership and an annual fee, even after deciding to cancel shortly after joining. This is unacceptable, especially for new members who find the experience unsatisfactory.

From Day 1, no one welcomed me or gave me a tour of the facility. Despite signing up for the Qfit membership, I received no communication from a personal trainer or staff member. The overall quality of the gym — from staff support to the condition of equipment — was far below expectations.

Additionally, the showers and bathrooms were frequently unclean during my visits, which is a basic standard I expected to be maintained.

I hope you take this feedback seriously and review both your promotional policies and the general upkeep of your facilities. Customers deserve transparency and a clean, supportive environment when committing to a gym membership.

Im a OTR trucker from Minnesota. Oregon is out of my regular Midwest route , so i needed a gym while in the area. A short Uber ride & the staff let me sign up for a 3 day free trial. Cleanest gym ever, the staff were super helpful, got me my free three day pass in like 2 minutes. Equipment was super high quality. Loads of machines and squat racks and benches. Lighting was very nice with lots of natural light in the gym. Bathroom was very neat, they have a little outdoor area too. Although the Lancaster location is farther away than the South, I can get a morning QFit class on Fridays and Body Balance on Tuesdays. Amanda does a great job with clear instructions and positive encouragement.—5 stars

I’m still frustrated that the South location dropped Q fit classes in the morning between 5:45 and 7 AM. It’s hard to reconcile being told that the money isn’t there for classes when retiling projects are being done apparently for aesthetic reasons only. I guess that matters to some people. The group fitness room didn’t have heat for part of the winter and now does not have air conditioning. It’s difficult to work out in there.

I’ve been going to this gym for a while, and while I appreciate having a place to work out, there are a few ongoing issues that have been frustrating. The class schedule is constantly changing, which makes it hard to stick to a consistent routine.

One of the massage chairs has been broken for over 2mos, theres only 2 to begin with.

On top of that, instructors—who already have enough on their plate—are now being asked to handle child care sign-ups, which doesn’t seem fair to them or efficient for members. This took time away from our own class. Other locations, such as Albany, provide friday night childcare with no issues.

Lastly, the recent shortening of child care hours has made it even harder for parents like me to find time to work out. I really hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes some adjustments to better support both their staff and members.

I signed up for this third gym membership, for the red light therapy. I used the red light 50 times with no issues at physiq lancaster, until the last time. I was being helped by the general manager and I am not happy with my experience. She demanded I have eye protection in order to use the red light, when I've never been required before. Tan republic never requested I have eye protection after years of using red light. It isn't just that she demanded, it's how she went about. My only previous experience with this manager was when she rudely interrupted one of her team members that was already helping me. She cut them off and wanted to help me herself, but she actually didn't know the full situation and ended up looking foolish. It was not a good look. I requested owner contact Information from general manager, she gave me a email for a Tyson. I emailed Tyson three days ago asking to please be called, I never heard back. If manager wants to have a policy that I have to have eye protection for red light, maybe it would look more professional if she wasn't the ONLY one in her gym requiring it. Not one person underneath her supervision has demanded I present eye wear. Only her, which makes her look very unprofessional. She is either not doing her job correctly or she is power tripping on me. Really really disappointing that the district manager didn't bother to get back to me. So here is the review as a result.

Bummed there is no smoothie bar at this location, but the staff are really great and there are a lot of machines. It gets really busy in the evenings, but it's tolerable. Kai and Tyler are really great trainers and I am so grateful for them. They are very knowledgeable, and Kai really helps keep my mood up when I've lost hope and motivation. I've gone to a few gyms in Salem and I can say that Physiq is hands down the best! It has everything I need from a gym including a great free-weights section, tons of cardio machines, and even classes! My fav class by far is Zumba with Sonia. She's is such a light in this community and brings so much fun into fitness. Highly recommend getting a pass that allows you to go to different locations. It's so convenient for me to plan my workout around my schedule and what part of town I'm in.

Very clean gym and lots of equipment. Customer service is always horrible here. Every employee has an ego and is not friendly even slightly. Best to avoid the employees as they always ask the manager for help.
I tried to pay my bill over the phone and they told me I had to come in (never had to do this.) So I came in and downgraded my memebership because the lady was very rude about it. Then I got charged a $10 downgrade fee.
Aside from the employees, this is the best physiq gym.

I still am very happy here in this gym and its location. Im thriving and getting past my conditioning that I worked up to in the last gym I was a member. However; I am disappointed in your fitness app. It needs a good bit of work. It is not user friendly; so much so I cannot use it to build up my workout routines. Physiq Fitness offers a free tour of the gym before enrolling, and I took advantage of the offer last weekend. I arrived early for my appointment, and the young lady at the front desk was happy to get started anyway.

I don’t know when this location opened, but if you told me it opened last month, I’d believe you. The equipment is well maintained, looks new, and there are plenty of machines available for use. It’s a large building too, so even though there was quite a few people there on a Saturday morning, it did not feel crowded. There are also a couple of large room for classes, in addition to a small child care center. Near the front, there are some drinks and snacks for sale, along with tanning beds (lying or standing) and a couple of hydro massage chairs.

There are multiple payment options and plan selections - compared to most of the other gyms in the city, I’d say the prices are fair and a good value. Especially the mid tier option, which gives you the freedom to visit any location.

I haven’t decided to enroll yet, as I am still weighing out my other options, but this gym is in the top 3 for sure!

I wanted to say thank you very much they stop me at the front house before a review it's my honor I've been taking care of since I've been here things have happened computer-wise or something like that but the whole process they've been diligent to work on things. And so they've made me feel like this in the place and club like back in the day you know you see in the movies and nostalgia at all for people sit around and build community and relationships and have a memory for life.
