Derek and Katyln really went the extra mile helping us set up accounts for a month. We are from the UK and this has always been challenging … so fabulous that the lovely Bend branch were able to help. As always love, love, love the vibe of Planet Fitness. Lots of equipment, in good working order and someone actively cleaning the place. Since my last visit I’d say the equipment has improved for leg and glute workouts. The benches are better. The accessories were also better for example a pad for hip thrusts and attachments for the cable machines 10/10 Bend!! Good cleaning changing facilities too.

Been working out here for the last 3 years 5-6 days a week. I’ve worked out in the same shirts the whole time. New employee Sueann asks if I can change or cover. On multiple occasions, I showed up to the gym to find that a black dog was left locked inside a truck at the very front of the gym, with the windows all the way up, for over an hour every single time.
One day after timing it for over an hour and half since I had gotten there, I went to the front desk to speak to the staff, and was blessed enough to interact with Cadence. I asked Cadence if she knew who the truck belonged to, to which she stared at me as if I were interrupting something she was doing (She was just standing at the front desk), and I mean, if looks could kill. She said no. I told her there was a dog locked in that car for over an hour, and she didn't even bat an eye, and her face told me that she couldn't care less about what I was saying, or the dog for that matter. She said okay.
Okay? Okay Cadence lol
I'm not even upset that she didn't do anything about it, I'm more shocked by the absolute lack of any kind of emotional response. I mean, she didn't even flinch.
I guess I thought they could make an announcement over head or something? Or say they'd keep an eye on it? Or at least pretend to care at all?
If the staff don't care about a dog locked in a hot car, I can imagine what any kind of concerns about the actual gym itself is met with.
This location is perfectly okay with dogs locked inside hot cars for hours at a time feet in front of their front door I guess.
If you see it, just call the police yourself.

Great gym. Came here a couple months for work and really enjoyed my time at this gym.
For being a planet fitness it is very spacious and machines are pretty updated. Showers and bathrooms are clean and overall entire gym is very good.
They have massage chairs, tanning beds.
Again all very clean which to me is very important.
Customer service is excellent. Totally made my visit here worth talking about.

After consultations with different veterans groups Representatives, along with the State of Oregon-Bureau Of Labor and Industry complaint dept of retaliation towards this Veteran by Planet Fitness Bend Oregon Management involved regarding innocent of racism by the management. This disabled veteran will be canceling their membership to Planet Fitness Corp and in Bend Oregon. I am a disabled veteran. I have spinal, abdominal, leg, chest, and head injuries along with severe PTSD. I've asked the staff at planet fitness in bend Oregon to respect us disabled veterans. Especially in regards to the handicap parking. Instead of hearing the Veteran, management made up complaints towards the veteran, and when asked what complaints were made and to see them, and why didn't management ever come to this veteran about complaints about said disabled veteran. Management can't come up with an example which makes things seem speculative. It was one of those aha I get it moments. He said people ask what's wrong with you? And I replied what do they say what's wrong with me. Do you ever explain my disabilities to them? He said he tries to explain my disabilities to people there at planet fitness and the customers just don't care. I can tell you what it is... I'm a United States Marine that was severely injured serving his country and the people of the great State of Oregon. It has become a rather apparent that disabled veterans are not wanted to be customers at planet fitness nor to live in Bend Oregon. I guess they feel us disabled veterans are unsightly. We are truly and I do mean truly unwanted here and you will never ever be respected for your service protecting everyone's rights for freedom.

The manager also seemed very angry at me about exercising My first amendment rights under the Constitution for which I defended and used those rights posting this review.

Most reviews are about the management or cost . I'm a Sliver Sneaker customer. This program is great. I have used it at another gym and now at Planet Fitness. I'm loving the equipment . My favorite is the rowing machine. Not many people use this piece of equipment. There rower isn't an Aviron but it gets the job done.
My only thing that Planet Fitness should change is the way to wipe down the equipment. I don't like the spray bottle liquid into a paper towel. I feel it doesn't clean the equipment down enough.
Overall , I like Planet Fitness and will check out there locations in Arizona ( Phoenix area).

Can be hard to find parking during busy times. They don't have normal lockers--just the combination ones that will randomly lock you out even if used correctly. People sit on equipment staring at their phones, or will work out right in front of the dumbell rack. I guess that's not the gym's fault--more of a societal problem. But it highlights the Planet Fitness clientele.
They've had a broken toilet for over a week, which means one working toilet for all male members. Memberships here are cheap, but you get what you pay for. It's conveniently located, so I guess it'll do for now.

I’ve been going to Planet Fitness for a while, and until recently, I tolerated the strange rules and atmosphere. But after today, I’m done. Mid-leg day, in the middle of a solid pump before work, I was kicked out because of my shoes — open heel and toe. Mind you, I’ve worn these exact shoes here before with zero issue. Suddenly, today it’s a problem?

No warning. No explanation other than “policy,” which seems to change depending on who’s working. Completely unprofessional. If consistency, respect for your time, and a decent workout environment matter to you, look elsewhere. There’s “Judgment Free” and then there’s Planet Shitness, where they judge your shoes more than your form. Ridiculous.

I've been to more PFs across the country than I'll ever remember and this one is probably my favorite. It's clean and I didn't notice any broken equipment. The locker room and showers were awesome. All the showers were in use including the one I was in, and the water was hot and the pressure was great. The energy in the place was great as well. Upbeat and positive unlike many locations, which can have a cheap kinda sad feel.

I'm an ex semi-pro athlete, bodybuilder, pro racquetball player and personal trainer. Walking into Planet Fitness at age 71 for me, was like turning a kid loose in the candy store. Plenty of options for any body part at any skill level. Clean. People are friendly without the gym egos strutting their stuff around. Staff is supportive, friendly and readily available for questions. Love the lounge with the after workout goodies: massage chairs, hydromassage chairs and the red light therapy booth that comes with vibrating pads! And ALL for the ridiculous price of $25 a month!!! Seriously, I'm looking forward to staying healthy and being around other like minded people during those cold winter months one would normally stay inside eating bon bons and watching their butts grow.

Good location! Staff is friendly, decent amount of equipment, both cardio and weights, and hydrolounges / massage chairs. 7 minute limit on the lounges, though, too short. 10 minutes should be the bare minimum.

As digital nomads / state park hosts, we also use the showers a lot...these do get nice and hot, but temps fluctuate with flushing/other shower users. The disabled shower stalls are not ADA width, but otherwise good, with places to put toiletries, benches and adjustable head on a hose. Lockers have built in combo locks.

Also a good amount of parking available, we never had any trouble.

They were super nice to us whenever we visited, and overall a good gym stop.

This is a great gym, with a ton of cardio equipment, probably a little bit too much. They have a designated stretching area, some free weights with dumbbells, plenty of different cable machines, and a 30 minute circuit area. The bathrooms/locker rooms are always kept clean, and the fridge is stocked. All of the staff are super friendly, nice and welcoming. My one and only complaint is I am noticing a lack of air flow and circulation. It feels like the gym is kept at a warmer temperature, so with the minimal to no airflow, it gets hot and stuffy in the tighter areas rather quickly, such as the free weight section with the dumbbells.
