Cleanest planet fitness.I've been to in southwestern oregon. Staff is very friendly and helpful. My only gripe is that it closes at 10pm on weekdays and 7pm on weekends. Wish it was open later. (My reason for only 4 stars) Never had a bad experience here, so, I highly recommend this location.

I quit my membership today because this club seemingly has no plan in place for people who outright bully others while working out. When people are making it OBVIOUS that they are not there to work out, and bullying others, they should be asked to leave. Horrible experience. Won't be going back ever, and won't be recommending this club to anyone.

Recently I visited and was a little intimidated by the process of signing up for the massage chair. Tiffany was extremely patient and accommodating in assisting me (and I'm m not always easy😆). She had her hands full with other members questions and things but she took the time to make sure I was comfortable and squared away. Very professional and energetic! Thanks Tiffany 💯

My parents moved to this area about 2 1/2 years ago and I have yet to find a gym to go to when I visit them until now. I am so elated planet fitness opened a location in this area. The equipment is new and there are so many different Workout options to choose from. The space is surprisingly large and it is clean. For out of state folks looking to purchase a day pass, it’s only $10 for 24 hours and you can go as many times as you would like within that 24 hour period. I definitely will be back every time I visit my parents!

Great super clean place, having been a past member at multiple gyms in the area, the only “miss” is dumbbells maxing at 75lbs, no 45 lb straight bars that can have weight added, no dead lift pads, only smith machine benching and squatting. They did add the hack squat machine which is good. Overall, great deal!

The 1 star review from RR contains misinformation and should be taken with a grain of salt. This club is extremely clean, employees do check you in, not as a form of constraining members but as a way of connecting through good customer service. Planet Fitness’s policies specifically say you can’t bring in outside equipment like yoga mats. They limit tanning as a precautionary measure for all members, you have to work your way up over time. Tanning lotion prices are the same prices you see on Amazon. Employees “dictating”? Get real

I’ve been going to this Planet Fitness location for a while now, and while the equipment and amenities are generally fine, the limited hours are a serious issue. It gets way too crowded during peak times, which makes it tough to get time on the machines, tanning beds, or massage chairs. Other locations are open 24/7, so I don’t understand why this one isn’t. Extending the hours could really help with the crowding and give more flexibility.

Finally, a gym that is clean and doesn't have super OLD machines.
The price is great. Plenty of room, clean, variety of equipment, the amenities are cool if you get the Black Card, plus you can bring a guest.
I get greeted with a warm welcome too.
Definitely recommend getting a membership there.

Signed up for the black card experience. I was able to use the machines immediately and my first stop was the massage table. Warm water gentle rollers really relaxed me. Second machine I used was infrared with a lymphatic shaker on the floor. That was quite the experience. No swimming pool or sauna but clean clean clean.

Love love love this place. Whenever I go in the staff is super chill and they always assist me when I need something. The Hydro pods are to die for omg so good for sciatica. As I read these low ratings reviews they are either from people who live out of town or isolated situations. 25$ a month for a black card membership is worth it vs paying 60$ plus a month for BAAC.

I have been to Planet Fitness in probably 20 towns. Never had a single issue, staff is always chill, there to help, they pay attention to how dirty things are, if people are wiping down, cleaning, enabling me to do what I am there to do. This place is the total opposite, in every way. They hand scan everyone that comes through the door, they go through your bag and if you have things they deem “equipment” such as a yoga mat, you can’t bring in, they limit you for tanning, and if you buy your lotion from them, means they sell more overpriced lotion. Just weird, it’s like they are prison guards, not a health club. Too busy dictating to notice if the other gym goers are wiping down. Never going to this one ever again. Gross.

I went in and asked for a tour- the staff pointed from the desk at where the high priced services were. I asked to see the weight machines, and the staff wouldn’t bother. To key would not even let me see what I would be signing up for. The sales person said to look at the machines through the window… I should rate the staff at “zero stars”

Absolutely disappointed and disgusted by the way I was treated when trying to cancel my membership. The front desk clerk "Kurt". Treated me like I was trash when I told him I needed to cancel. He demanded to know the reason for my cancelation I said health issues and because I work to much. He rolled his eyes at me and said "wow some people will use any excuse to get out of working out". We'll I thought it was a judge free environment but I guess that was a HUGE lie. As long as he is there I will not be back.

I travel for work and have used PF all over the country, I was thrilled when this one opened in Coos Bay. Kudos to the weekday AM staff they are wonderful and keep everything so clean and efficient.

I will say now that we are in the rainy season it's very busy no matter what day or time I go. I can always find workout equipment but the Black Card amenities are impossible to use. The Red Light booth, massage chairs and cryotherapy have been totally booked and unavailable to me for the past 3 weeks. So if you are joining now definitely not worth the extra $$$ for the Black Card benefits, just do the regular $10/month membership.

I’ve never had anybody so unhelpful that was past 45 in this day and age, but what do you expect I was told I needed a cell phone a credit card and a checking account to be able to utilize this and I tell you what he was not willing to work with me I had everything except for a checking account. I was told because people like to bounce their Cards whatever that means means. I asked for a manager and he walked away and came back and told me I could not use my Cash app and my credit card to be able to sign up. This is planet fitness this is not the bank or a place where you need such verifications I was awake early and eager to go and this place just pooped on that I am from California. There has never been any such procedures with any planet fitness this is ridiculous for the small town. Sooooo Disappointing!!!!!

Perhaps I will get the attention of management and get a return phone call this way. I have attempted to contact Ben for well over a week now. For the entirety of that time, I've been told Ben would be in at, for example, 9 am. At 9 am, Ben is in a meeting. A call back at any other time of the day informs of all kinds of places Ben currently is. At lunch. On another phone call. Doing a tour. Mowing his dishes and putting away his lawn. Do you suppose that Ben could pencil me into his super busy day (and apparently his nights as well) to give me the phone call I've been patiently waiting on for a total of 11 days now? If it was as easy for me as walking into the gym, I would have done that already. I need a phone call today.

You really get a lot of bang for your buck. I love the new equipment and all the options. I love the crowd meter as I don't like working out when there are a lot of people there. I'll purposely go earlier to avoid crowds.. the staff is always approachable and helpful. I do wish they were 24/7 as well. But you cannot beat the price for the options in this town.. an amazing attribute having this in Coos.

Hate how early they close. I just moved here from outta state and my old Planet Fitnesd was 24-7 so was VERY UNHAPPY learning how early their location closes and/or how late it opens. Closing at 9pm on a Friday is ridiculous and then to close early again at 7pm sat-sun. They need to go by the hours advertised on google. Says planet fitness r 24/7
