Started two weeks ago and have been super impressed. Easy online sign up, very very clean equipment, locker rooms, etc. The staff is always very welcoming with the welcome in, have a great workout, and have a great day! This gym really does feel like a no judgement zone. The crowd I have been around keeps to themselves and I haven’t seen one cell phone recording for social media which is a huge plus as that seems to be the new thing but some people just want to get a workout in without being in the background of some video on the internet. If you have been thinking about joining it’s worth it!

Only have been going for a week now, no issues. Scanned my membership on phone and walked in. Parents with me also. Today, started off the same, but after barely leaving check in desk, a man [probably a manager] yelled our names, and told is to "show some ID". I was taken it back of how aggressive he came at us, and since I don't carry ID unless I'm driving I just walked out and I'm never going back. It's such a shame that people here think they can boss customers like this. Previously they've NEVER said anything about that until today. Again, this place is probably in need of a new manager [I'm not sure if that was them] but it's such a disgrace to not feel welcomed here.

Staff are fantastic! Everyone is really helpful, and supportive. This is a well run clean gym. I appreciated my time here. I was here in Oregon for several months from Ireland as my dad became very ill. This was my first foray into exercise in many years and was afraid of being shamed….i can honestly say there is zero of this here. I’m in a much better place physically and mentally from having done this here. I’m motivated to continue when I get back home. Can’t thank everyone at Planet Fitness enough.

I'm very happy with the gym when it's open. I've been going for a few months now. It's been closed and/or opened late 2 times during that span. First time it happened, I called. I was told they were having a team meeting. ??? Second time, I just watched people congregate around the front door. No one was there to open the door. People started leaving after 5-10 minutes losing hope that anyone would show up anytime soon. I did the same. We pay to go here. Change your hours or get your act together.

Can't seem to successfully cancel a membership without a hassle and still being charged despite putting my request for cancellation in writing. Just took a chunk of change from my card and found out I'm still considered an active member, the facilities are nice but billing is a nightmare!

All good things, have not had a bad experience to date. Although I see others are being welcomed by name, definitely have not experienced this phenomenon yet. It’s always good people watching as well. You’ve got all the common gym stereotypes available on any given day and I’ve always found a surplus of entertainment here. The playlist they have going is usually pretty good and I’ve never worn headphones or anything. I would like to see this lunk alarm get activated at some point though. There are bros in tanks carrying around gallon water jugs although I haven’t witnessed them slam any weights yet unfortunately.

Seemed understaffed. Massage beds are scheduled and you still don't get in. Twice we had confusing situations with the massage beds being scheduled and no one was using them. WE had sign in for them.
We never used to have this problem.

I can't vouch for every location, but my local Planet Fitness is a second home. The staff is friendly, the equipment is clean and working, and the atmosphere is welcoming.
Also, the price is competitive with other clubs. If you get a black card membership, you get the tans, the massage, and the red light. In addition, classes with a trainer are included for free! Recommend!!

I was so pleased and impressed, I told him that "he just sold himself a membership". I recruited my wife. Then my son. We love it here. So nice to be available and accessible everyday all day. Went to this location for the first time and it's now my favorite PF location around the Portland area. Great and helpful staff, and this PF has amenities I've never seen at other PF locations, such as no password wifi and keyless lockers. Shout out to Kaleb who after finding out it was my first time at the location gave me a full tour of the gym. I also saw him giving excellent customer service to other gym goers, tours, and cleaning. Whatever he gets paid you should add another $2/hr on top of that. I've been doing PF for 3 years at many different locations and never seen an employee do half of what Kaleb does. He will be a great regional manager one day if you guys realize his potential and hard work. Thanks again

The gym is consistently clean and the staff are very friendly. I just wish they had the hip thrust machine that I've noticed at other PF locations. The Smith machines are often in high demand, making it challenging to get one when the gym is busy. Additionally, the layout makes it difficult to position the bench behind the bar without getting in the way of other members at times

Great gym. Very clean and open. While some did not like the masking requirement, I appreciated the rule, as I live with an elderly adult and could not risk brining home Covid to her. I felt protected and appreciated the cleaning stations and cleaning by the staff - as a result I felt safer being able to exercise! I know it was tough but we thank the staff and management. This is a great gym for the price! I have the black card membership and it is a great value for the tanning, hydromassage and red light therapy.
