Called in and told me to cancel the account on the app. Clicked cancel and was blocked from my account "due to suspicious activity" and no longer able to access my account and not able to cancel online. Called in and was promised the account would be canceled. Three months later, I still get charges even after getting a hold of a manager to manually cancel my account for the second time.

Another thing theres changing rooms in the bathroom, yet old men still walk around with naked with their junk out all around the bathroom.

Lots of people who go here have no sense of etiquette. You can go all the way in the corner of the almost empty gym, and someone will still get on the treadmill directly in front of you with their sweatty butt crack hanging out. Even tho there are literally 50 other machines available.

Aside from those things, the workers are nice and on top of cleaning.

Tldr: I just find it ridiculous how hard it is to cancel an account. Also, the customers gross me out.

I don't do reviews terribly often, but the staff here have been so excellent I'd be doing a disservice not to rate the place. Everyone is kind, friendly, and helpful - and when I say everyone, I do mean everyone. I have yet to have a poor experience asking questions, getting help. Many of them have taken the time to learn my name, greeting me before I even scan my app.

For someone very nervous to return to the gym after years away, my experience has been spectacular. Combine that with good facilities, machines, and weights, and this place is great.

I travel quite a bit and have experienced many locations over the years . This Planet Fitness run by Jacob & Lizee is one of the best kept PF's I've seen. Cleanliness is clearly their first priority. Machines are never broken( at least the times that I've been there) and the staff's attitude is just a cherry on top... attentive, kindness and fun is not easy to find these days , however when I am in town I will always come back here .

Cancelled because they don't offer classes and it isn't as clean and doesn't have a polite a gym culture as my other gym Crunch Fitness. This business also seems far more corporate and hides secret fees in the fine print, like marketing as month-to-month but charging $58 if you cancel before a year. I recommend going to other gyms and reading the fine print, as PF is one of the more corporate/money-grabbing ones I've been to.

I wasn't sure what my experience was going to be when i joined PF. I am glad I joined. From my first visit I have felt comfortable just being me.And that can be hard sometimes . When I needed assistance with anything there was help available. And my experience with PFs app has been useful. Giving good information like if it is crowded or slow. Even before you get there. And at the end of my visit I am so happy I went. Good experiences for everyone.

I’ve been coming to this location for years and have to say I’m thoroughly satisfied. Mike, who works at the front desk, always greets me and my family members by name and with a smile. I notice him doing this with other members as well. Instead of a stuffy corporate environment, he makes us feel cared for like one would at their favorite corner coffee shop. It has been a great experience to be a member at PF Raleigh Hills, the Staff continues to be courteous and helpful. I have had good and bad days outside of the gym, but I know that when I walk through those doors at Planet Fitness Raleigh Hills...I can re-set from the outside world. The Planet Fitness motto of "The No Judgement Zone-No Critics" stands. I have met people there, and at the end of the day we all have one common goal.....to be a better version of ourselves.

Planet fitness has the best offering in the market. I really enjoy the hybrid tanning and the fact that I usually don't have to wait to use the equipment that I frequent. Very non-judgmental atmosphere, friendly staff, great amenities and equipment, and relatively clean. Reason for the lower rating is I am 99% sure I got COVID due to the fact that I was one of the only cleaning after using the machines. I plan to clean before and after and wear a mask but there are signs everywhere and conveniently placed hygiene stations to use. Does anyone know when the staff or a cleaning service cleans the machines? I really don't want to associate working out at this gym to COVID exposure. 2/5 rating.

Great staff and good layout. Docking a star because while my experiences have largely been neutral to positive, there are not nearly enough machines for leg workouts. Definitely an imbalance between upper body and lower body options. If they removed some of the cardio machine excess and implemented more choices for leg day, it'd solve a lot of leg day woes.

I love this place because i can walk on the treadmill and be respected as 281 lb woman. They can call it Planet Fatness all they want but its the only gym that honors large individuals and doesnt cater to skinnies. Only thing i dont like is the no snacking rule. I've gone to most of the PF locations in a 25 mile radius and this is by far the best of the group. Equipment is similar at all the clubs but much better selection here. Lighting is wonderful and cardio equipment is the best. If only cell phones were prohibited on the gym floor except for music. Can't understand why you go to work out and then just sit on a machine and text. Not really serious then stay home.

TBH, this isn’t my top choice gym, but it’s the best choice I have from where I live, in Goose Hollow. I really wish I didn’t have to spend nearly 2 hrs RT in travel to utilize the gym.
That being said, I like that I can utilize gyms across the country when I travel for work; I can usually find a PF & they tend to have a similar layout.
This location has friendly staff who strive to provide quality customer service. I realize they interact with a lot of different people & it’s not easy sometimes.
I’m often on a time schedule due to having to use public transportation, so when some things aren’t available, while disappointing, still an annoyance. The staff still try their best to accommodate whenever possible & that says a lot.
I do wish there were more than 2 row machines and an overhead machine pullover like my old PF had before moving to PDX.
This location is also always very clean.

Low energy out of shape staff putting in minimum effort to welcome new members. (The person I spoke with could not be bothered with tying their own shoe laces)

Staff is either misinformed and does not read what is offered on their website or simply does not care or said whatever just to end the conversation so that he can get back to doing nothing in an empty gym.

My point is that this place requires a commitment of me providing a bank account number and routing number, but the person who works there doesn't even want to do anything such as tying his own shoes or talking with people.
