My fiancé and I went into the foster road planet fitness at approximately 340. This afternoon, while we tried logging in to gottan, there was a system error with the ability to be able to log in. We waited patiently for approximately 5 to 7 minutes, while the employee who we come to find out is new. He said his name is Tyler was on the phone for a personal phone call, not a professional one, but a personal phone call. And then when he was done with his personal phone call, he was very condescending. And rude and refused to assist us when we respectfully asked if we could speak with another employee or management to try to get some assistance in regards to the situation. He found it very funny, tried telling us we could drive to Another Location. I respectfully asked if we could talk to another employee. He refused. Asked if he could please get a hold of a manager or assistant manager, as I would feel, someone would want to know if your computer systems are down or things aren't working.I am bringing this to your attention.Because as a paying customer who pays for a black card membership, this is completely an appropriate and unprofessional.The gentleman told me it's only his second or third day on the job, which I find even more frustrating that they would put someone who is this new in a position behind the desk with no experience?And no one else here with him, this was not a very pleasant experience or a friendly encounter, and we went out of our way to drive here to tan.

F.Y.I. although I appreciate the owner responding today as a business owner. I would think you would have actually had a more hands-on approach to where you would have reached out to us personally to address the concerns fears.
And direct issues involved with this location and your employee Tyler. Referring me to management is really insensitive and unprofessional. In my opinion for the record, I attempted to reach out to your manager on two separate occasions, and I have yet to receive a phone call or a returned message attempt as a business owner. I would appreciate it if I could get your name and deal with you. Directly, unless you would rather, I prefer contacting the state of Oregon. Corporation division finding out the tax I d number in your business.Registry and just filing litigation locally.I'm completely dissatisfied with how we have been treated.

On 11/9/25 I came on to tan and experienced issue with the computer system. I tried to ask for assistance but a new staff member Tyler was on his personal phone talking to his girlfriend asking her out to dinner.. After waiting for a long time for him to finish his personal call which he wasn’t supposed to do because he was on the clock, I asked Tyler for assistance with tanning service which he hastily denied. He told me that he can’t help me and I have to go to another location, he refused to call for assistance and give managers phone number. He was unbelievably rude, disrespectful and condescending. I have never seen such lack of interest to do customer service and the level of rudeness. I will request a call back from corporate to reimburse me for refused service and a horrible le customer service that I had to endure for being a loyal customer.

This club is awesome. Parking can be tricky as it shares a lot with an apartment complex but that’s fine. It’s very spread out and a large space and a lot of new equipment was just added. Staff is usually very friendly. Tommy at the front desk is awesome. I would recommend this location. My gf and I recently transferred to another club as one opened a few minutes from where we live otherwise we’d still be going here.

I had a great first experience at Planet Fitness! Ivan was incredibly welcoming and professional—he took the time to show me around the facility and made me feel right at home. They just got new equipment and a new setup at this gym. Before that they were lacking on some really good equipment but now they have it all and then some! Really great improvement. I'm really enjoying the upgrades to this gym!

For the most part this location is okay, but the summer time promotion where they let teens come for free, ruins it. I think it’s a great sentiment in theory, but it’s ruining the experience for their paying members. The teens have no gym etiquette, don’t clean up after themselves, and gather in crowds around machines making it an over all uncomfortable and annoying experience. Either staff need to be more accountable and mindful of this or do away with it. At least make it weekends only or something.

I normally like going here but you should stay away for the summer. They let highschool students workout for free during the summer. The place is swamped with students in the evenings but slow during the day even though these kids have nothing better to do. They scroll on their phones for extended periods while camping out on machines, they don't wipe down the machines after their done, and are generally rude. Not worth the membership fee during the summer

My membership is in Oregon City. Stopped by Foster Rd. Ivan the front desk attendant never gave a greeting, was actually rude and condescending. I live part time in Denver and travel frequently using any number of Planet Fitness locations. This was the worst. They may have no judgement written on the walls but that is not who they hire! Pick another location if you care about courtesy.

Seems like every employee at this Planet Fitness location has a problem with people coming here?
Rude upon entry. I came here three times while staying in Portland, I travel full time and most Planet Fitnesses I go to are very friendly. Not here.
First time I came I had my sandals on and shoes in my bag and got scolded by the chubby hispanic guy asking me to show him my other shoes in the bag? Whatever, rolled with it.
Second time it’s a different hispanic dude, taller and skinnier,
I come in and say “hello! :)” with a smile and dude just stares at me until I scan in with a blank face…
3rd time was a white dude. He wasn’t really rude or friendly, just kind of there…

The manager Jose banned me from using the gym for 90 days simply because I quit working there. Despite still paying full-price for my membership and not being in violation of a single gym policy - he told all of my former co-workers to deny me entrance. And to be clear - I simply walked out - I didn't cause a scene or violate any policies - I just left. Peacefully. And now, as a retaliatory measure - he is preventing me from using the gym (despite still charging me). My PF mobile app is still active, and I verified that my account is still in good standing at other locations - so this is purely a personal, petty measure aimed at making my life inconvenient - simply because I left. He is mixing personal with professional, when I am just trying to use the gym like any other member.

I never liked going to the gym until after I had open-heart surgery, but now I love it! I'm feeling so lucky just to be here that my body enjoys being used a lot more than it used to! What a great deal it is to have such a well-appointed gym nearby! It's clean, the staff are friendly, and they have such a great collection of equipment that I can ALWAYS do a workout that's focused just exactly how I want and need it to be!

Been going to the Foster location early in the morning for years. Great location, sometimes busy parking lot, but always find a spot, and have enjoyed it. Ivan has been there in the mornings for awhile now and is always cleaning, helping people out and always setting my massage chair up quickly and usually preemptively when he seems me coming since I have a pretty set routine. I HAD TO USE THE RESTROOM, AND WAS YELLED AT AND TGE ENTIRE GYM WAS STARING AT ME WHERE 2 “EMPLOYEES” CALLED ME NAMES, WHILE I WAS TRYING TO FIND MY CARD.

Ive been a member for a few years and I am canceling my membership as soon as possible. Two weeks ago I had to urgently use the restroom at this location and I was asked for my membership card on the way in and I told them that I am a member, but I needed to go to the bathroom or else I was going to pee my pants. When I came out the employee behind the desk was on the phone with the police to trespass me. I explained to her that I needed to go to the bathroom. At that point, she’s just started to yell at me to get out and another employee started to yell at me to get out and he kept saying it over and over again and all I was doing was trying to get in my phone to give them proof that I was a member. I did contact the manager Lidia and told her that Fiona and another coworker was horrible to me. Lidia did not even apologize. She said that they just need training. And the other employee was already fired for another reason. I have obtained an attorney and I’m going to be filing soon and when I asked for information to where I could have my attorney send the paperwork Lidia refused to give me any information and hung up the phone on me. I will be canceling this membership and getting a membership for the same price at 24 hour fitness where they also have a sauna and amazing other benefits, including nice humans that work there.

Gym is fine, but why are they always closing the spa in the middle of their busiest time?? I pay for the black card and there have been so many times that the "spa" is closed for deep cleaning. How hard is it to wipe down a few chairs? Why can't I sit in a chair while the floor is being mopped? The area I pay extra money for should not be closed at 6:30pm at the busiest time of the evening. Why can't they clean it before closing, or after closing, or when the gym is dead??

Shortly before typing this, Two of your gym goers threatened to "throw hands" at me when I asked them to move out of my way so I could park since i live in the same building, they stood right in the middle of the way making it difficult to park.

They acted like they owned the place. Telling me to "park somewhere else" by standing in the middle of the road.

I would just say red light therapy rooms need paper towels refilled more frequently, every time I’ve gone in they’re out. Also no garbage cans in the red light rooms which I find odd. We’re visitors from out of state and came to this Planet Fitness in the morning. Overall it was a great experience! These people are so unprofessional I'm fuming. Tuesday August 13, around 8:30pm. I go to the gym today the same way I have been doing for what 25 years and there are two girls sitting on their phones on the only two shoulder press machines. After waiting a good amount of time I softly ask are you done with these? She pulls her earbud from her ear and looking all annoyed says well if you want them so badly, I said it's a simple question I might ask it from anyone, she said how rude I said no I have a life. It's a simple question, yeah I'm done here you go, or no I have another set, or whatever.

Anyways, they move on with their workouts and I continue mine. On the way out the guy working there pulls me over and says there are complaints about you being aggressive. For asking are you done. Three words. Ok so what now he says next time come tell us. So wait a minute now every time someone is sitting at a machine doing nothing I have to go call this guy over? It happens a million times every day at every gym and I say hey dude are you done? Yeah? Cool thanks. Or no I have two more sets. Or whatever. Simple. But now I'm standing there and this guy is chastising me for being aggressive. So I come for a simple workout now I'm having all these nonsense discussions with people who expect me to bend over backwards because of their dysfunctions.

Anyhoo I tried to cancel my membership and going to contact my bank to make sure no further payments from my account are debited to these people. Super ruined my day. 24 Hour Fitness here I come.

I am using the High School Summer Pass, which I think is an absolute win. The place was clean, well ordered, and just convenient. I go here as much as possible as I can, which I good for my health, and I start to feel better. The air quality is absolutely breathable, and I barely had any problems here at all. I am just starting off the gym, so I am not really the strongest, but I can use this gym for my health. The service is nice as well, when I first came here, they were friendly.

I recently joined the Foster location and I've been very pleased with my membership. I tried another location with my black card membership but Foster was a better feel for me with professional staff and clean facilities, and I'm happy to be a member.

This is my favorite gym and I’ve been coming here for years. The staff is amazing, always going out of their way to make friendly conversation and helping me whenever I need it. My favorite employees are Arsenio, Dylan and Michael. I feel like I’m seeing my buddies every time I walk through the door and am greeted with smiles. The gym is well organized and clean. Locker rooms and showers are also clean and I witness them cleaning them regularly. Like I said, this is my favorite gym and I have no plans to leave anytime soon. Hope this helps someone

It's never too busy here (I always can get a machine), even at peak hours. I like the staff, they are friendlier than 24hr fitness or Crunch ever was. The Hydro Massage and Tanning is so awesome to be included in the Black Card membership. I get a massage everytime I'm in there lol, and I've never had to wait for a chair or tanning bed. Highly recommend this location.

But, the showers are cold. I hope they fix it soon :-)

this is the third time I showed up to the planet fitness on Foster to go tanning for a quick workout 9:20 p.m. and the doors were locked and see if they don't close until 10:00 pm. maybe it has to do with the kids working behind the counter I don't know

I’m a senior and most of the people are young but I love to be around younger folks. It helps me to be motivated to exercise more and I love their youthful energy. The monthly cost averaging about $13 or less than 50 cents/day. I exercise 5-6 times/week to minimize aging muscle loss and keep the bones healthy.
