Very nice place, not like any other one. Employees are polite and friendly. People who come to work out also are respectful. Plenty of equipment to choose from and work out. I enjoy going to this gym because it is local. It is not too busy. The staff keep it clean and for the most part people are self-aware and considerate.

The one thing that I dislike about the gym is that several people feel comfortable enough, taking photos of themselves in the bathroom in front of the mirror. there is a reasonable expectation of privacy in the bathroom. I think the gym should post reminders in the bathroom and people should also report these legal concerns!

I had one muscle head, takeoff his shirt, and start snapping selfies, when I was washing my hands obviously he had more muscle than mental faculties

In addition, I would like to encourage enforcement or at least discouragement of people walking around being disruptive, by talking on the phone, the gym is not your home or your patio

This PF gym has been my gym that I have liked for a while but unfortunately today they pulled the wrong string with this being my favorite gym from other PF. So I scheduled online appointment for tanning and get there 2 mins before the scheduled time and as I am walking in I see someone getting scheduled to go tan. But I mind my own business and wait for my turn. As I come up I tell the tall guy that I have a scheduled appointment and he tells me that my appointment was taken by someone else and I had to wait 15 mins! So I asked why he put someone to tan in the “one single bed that they have working right now” and he said it was a while back when she came in. When I just saw him putting her in the bed right as I was behind her. And he told me that they have “ONE” bed working so clearly it was her not some other person as he stated “a while back”. That’s quite frustrating that you schedule an appt because you’re clearly on a time crunch and they just schedule another person on the time being!

Not cool that you can't resume your cancelled membership even though planet fitness says you can online as long as it wasn't over 30 days ago, I guess they want $20 sign up fee, plus the $49 annual fee, AND $25 each month, which is a pretty insane ask. Showed up at 9:10pm today. Gym closes at 10pm, but the doors were locked. There were two guys standing behind the counter just talking. Several gym members came to the door wanting to get in. The guys just kept talking, so the gym members just left. Not impressed.

Staff say questions about membership and accounts have to be managed online or by calling in. Online has no apparent way to contact customer service. My planet fitness app has said for about a year that the membership is not active because of billing problems, but planet fitness continues withdrawing dues even though i can't work out.

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience at this gym and would not recommend it. The facility has serious security issues—homeless individuals enter freely, personal belongings get stolen, lockers are broken into, and even cars are taken from the parking lot. Despite these ongoing problems, the gym staff seems uninterested in addressing them, and security measures appear ineffective. The cameras seem to serve no real purpose, and overall, the lack of action is disappointing. I expected a safer and more responsible environment for members

My close friend’s locker was broken into, and their car keys, all documents, and car were stolen. The gym staff refused to help call the police and are unwilling to assist in the investigation to find the culprit. This place is unsafe. I do not recommend it!!!

I go to planet fitness because of the price and the location. BUT…this one has a ln extremely hard time keeping the showers and dressing stalls clean. There is one man that works graveyard and he is ALWAYS cleaning, the rest of the staff seem to stand around more than anything. There are hooks that have been broken for about a year now with no time line to when they MIGHT get fixed. The cameras outside are also not in the best place to see the parking lot. My car along with someone else’s got bad damage from someone who was out of their mind on drugs. When you go early in the morning when it’s still dark you have to really pay attention to who and what is going on around you!

Yesterday, my sister’s car was stolen in one of the gyms, and the manager at the reception refused to help call the police.

This is absolutely insane.

This happened inside the gym—someone broke into a locker and stole the keys.

That’s why I think you are at least morally obligated to help by calling the police, rather than just saying you’re not responsible!

Luke is a really good trainer, I signed up for his DYOP class and he really is knowledgeable and super comfortable to talk to. I really recommend going to his classes or speaking with him, he showed me how to use machines properly and really listened to me about my fitness goals. Thank you.

I've been coming here for a couple weeks now and I love it! The people working here are friendly, everything is super clean, and they have a wide selection of workout machines. Showers are always clean too!

I splurged for the Black Card Membership and it's been worth it for me personally. The massage chairs are really relaxing, and while I don't know if the red light machine does anything, it feels nice after a workout.

Prices are very affordable for a gym too. Highly recommend!

It’s very comfortable and my favorite after working out is the black spa room the Hydro massage beds, the red light all of it. I have had so many bad experiences at other gyms. When I came to the 82nd planet fitness location Alaina immediately welcomed me, she not only showed me how to use equipment but made me feel safe and comfortable, she is so friendly and I look forward to seeing her when I come in to work out. I love this gym but THE MUSIC IS OBSCENELY LOUD! TURN IT DOWN. A bunch of reviews complain about this. We all have headphones and my noise cancelling airpods can not even drown out the music. It’s sickening. Literally everything else is great. No I’m not old or cranky. I want to listen to my music and podcasts.

I had my reservations about using planet fitness. The hype is not accurate at least at this location. As a long time power lifter it was great to see newcomers getting started. My only complaint is there are no free weights and the freeweights they do have are dumbbells with a maximum of 75 pounds. This is a different gym after all. At the end of the day you're able to get a good work out here.

This was my 2nd time here. Chris gave us a tour yesterday and was so helpful and kind. He explained how reservations worked, the 30 min circuit, impressed upon us to clean the machines and explained our black card benefits. Today another staff, female, helped with my massage chair reservations. Again, super nice and helpful. There is zero judgment or pressure. I appreciate the atmosphere.

After my workout and massage, I went tanning. The guy said they only had a hybrid left so I took it instead of waiting. While getting dressed, someone tried getting in. I said hello. They tried again. I said occupied. He them said is someone in there. I said yes. He them said I needed to get out he needed the room!
This happened to my daughter there as well but we blew it off like a mistake since it was the first time. This was very rude of him and unsettling. If you put someone in a room and the door is shut and locked, then you know someone is in the room. I did give one star because I have been coming here for years and typically enjoy the place. I definitely suggest making sure your door is locked if you go into any of the rooms since he did not knock or talk he'd literally just tried to open the door!

I called to see if the tanning beds are working and they're not. Then I asked about the hours and was hung up on by Koda. Seriously! This is planet fitness.You're supposed to be open 24 hours a day. You're not, but you're still charging us for 24 hours service. Now, the tanning beds haven't worked for a week. I want refunded for the time that I'm not able to use the gym because the tanning beds aren't working the reason why I'm paying for the service. They refuse to prorate your service for the days of their out of commission. Terrible management.

Went there to try out the gym for two days and slapped with $100 in fees. However they don’t offer drop in so buyer beware. Attendant said I had until the 12th to avoid fees although I signed up on the 5th. That is not the case, you have 3 days and the face a $60 fee for early cancellation. Poor communication from staff.

Equipment is also lacking. Functional area does not have any weights heavier than 30 lbs. Highly disappointed.

I came to planet fitness after cancelling my 24hour fitness membership in Clackamas. the experience was like night and day. At 24 hour, I was never greeted, 70% of the equipment is broken, the locker rooms are trashed and everything is dirty. When arriving at planet fitness I was greeted warmly and genuinely, the equipment is PERFECT and everything is clean! Best choice ever! I’m excited to go to the gym now.
