Excellent Gym manager always calls me by my name. Gym is very clean & has lots of equipment to meet anyone’s needs. I’m rehabbing a detached hamstring & have realized much improvement on balance & strength. Some staff could work some on their social skills.

Let's start off by saying. I love coming to this gym. Great service, it's a great atmosphere. We've shredding my muscles of the sure, wish that Friday. Saturday and Sunday have longer hours, but it is what it is. Then do a few other planet fitnesses, and we really need to get an upgrade on the leg raise machine other than that, wouldn't change the thing you guys are doing a great job.Keep up the good work

Clean facility. I became a member about a month ago. It's less busy in the mornings than the afternoons, but I have never seen it overwhelmingly busy. Plenty of cardio options. Decent weight lifting options but a bit more beginner leaning on weights. Spa area is free access with black card membership and super handy if you are sore and need a massage from the chairs or the hydro massagers.

To Employee: short tan kid with a bowl cut randomly asks me if this gym is my home gym. I said I thought it was I have visited other planet fitness in different cities. He just kind of stared off and made it very apparent he was disinterested in my response as he didn't say anything. He just stared at me waiting for me to leave. So I asked why (thinking maybe there was a problem with my account or something/ I don't know!!) he says, "just wondering" and walked away. Not sure what his problem is but I sure didn't appreciate being treated like that. Everyone else in there is doing an outstanding job.

Moved away, needed to cancel membership. Go inside. "You have to cancel on the app". Had a baby, moved away. Open the app, can't cancel. Call their number, can't cancel there, either, just told "you have to go inside". Go inside, finally cancel. This took months to finally get back here because we had a baby and was charged monthly for nothing. Why is every gym in the country so nice when you want to sign up, but such shady scum when you want to cancel your membership? I was hoping they would be better than at least Crunch fitness, but was really disappointed.

My first time at a PF; member of a high end gym chain elsewhere. Was only visiting the area and did a day use pass. Staff is very nice and helpful, the place is pretty big, a (real) lot of choice for cardio; great weights equipment too, a few cable machines. I didn't use the lockers themselves but locker area and bathrooms are extremely clean and modern.

The purple ab machine is beyond dumb and should be replaced with a yellow one. Also, I'm not a fan of not being able to use the yellow one because a class is in session. Being able to use your arms to bring down the machine to compensate for your abs is a terrible design. The other purple ab machine sucks and seems like it was designed for shorter people. And the free wifi constantly has problems ranging from "connected without internet" to not having a connection in certain spots of the gum. Needs more pectoral machines

Everr have a place you really enjoy ruined by one staff member? Let me tell you about Miley, she has long dark hair and works in the AM.

Today she decided she didn't like my "opened toed shoes" (my toes were not exposed) and made a big stink until I went home and changed them. I live 10 miles away. She could have easily asked me to wear different shoes next time, but she was clearly enjoying her power trip.

But it's not just one incident, she has an absolute sour face and every interaction with her has been thoroughly unenjoyable. She is always in a bad mood like she doesn't want to be there.

This review is for you Miley, and I'd give you zero stars if I could.

It had been an embarrassing number of years since I darkened the door of any gym. I am not an organized group exercise person and I wasn’t looking for a friend. Planet Fitness is PERFECT. The judgement free zone is built for ease of access and use. Help if you need it Organization if you need it. Plenty of extras. Open Airy CLEAN No judgement and no one in your face.

I had no problem with getting a silver sneakers one month membership, so I could keep working out while visiting from Illinois.
Amazingly great staff, no matter what time of day you show up!

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced setting up an account and the front desk employee was rude from the get go not explaining any details just a rude turned up expression on her face and very biting responses/ interruptions when I was trying to explain some of the perks / benefits to the person I was bringing in stead of politely saying “sorry guests don’t get perks to spa “ she snapped and said” you don’t get to go “ instead of being helpful and saying you must both be card holders to attend the spa.very rude entire transaction,if this were one of my employees I would definitely have a sit done and explain what is and isn’t appropriate customer service because Kacey definitely needs to be reminded.

Atmosphere is good, but i was mislead about bringing a friend anytime and how they dont tell you your friend can't use some equipment until after you get there and not before signing up. I feel hustled for that one.
A good portion of the equipment is designed for short people. Anyone over 6 feet tall might as well go to a different gym. Much of the equipment makes tall people sit near the floor with no leg room and short people get to sit up straight with a taller seat.
Quite a few of the cable machines are bent. Every pull up bar is too short. Can't stretch my spine anywhere. There's no equipment to train military presses. There's no equipment for dead lifts. For a lot of the equipment I have to sit in the squating position just to work upper body because the seats are soo low to the ground.

Many of the machines need to be raised off the ground to give the tall people a fair chance
I can't work abs without hurting my back because all the equipment for abs is for short people.

The people are great though. The staff is wonderful and welcoming.

I love going to Planet fitness especially at the cost… but the cramped hours is extremely inconvenient for me. Even if they just stayed open till midnight I could make it work but with my work schedule I can currently only go like 1-2 times a week if that. I and a lot of other people in my friend and family group would really appreciate some later hours and eventually having it 24 hours again.

Another great experience @ PF. I joined about a month ago and I can honestly say I recommend this establishment. Today was another phenomenal crew @ the reception area. Extremely attentive, courteous, professional and always keeping themselves very busy in the best interest of PF credo. The gym was clean and well maintained. Today is Wednesday and I worked out in between 10-11am. This crew is again exceptional.

This was the first time I've ever had a gym "membership", so I guess I was a bit ignorant to the process. I didn't realize you had to physically go in to cancel a membership until 4 or 5 months after I went the first time. I went maybe 5 or 6 times in a month and life got busy. 4 months or so later they're charging my card, and saying I owe them close to $150. I'll stress again that I only went a few times. I ask if there's any way to get those fees to go away and they tell me no. So now I'm stuck owing them a bunch of money for a service I never used. Horrible service. Well never ever go back.

Visiting from out of town, building looks new, equipment inside was a good condition, only two machines broken and a water fountain and sink in the meds room broken. Saw the employee walking around cleaning which is always a good sign.
We visited on a Thursday at around 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and it was not that busy. Typically those are busy times for many gyms.
We didn't tan our massage so I don't know what those rooms were like at this place. Otherwise a nice gym overall and if I lived in this area this would be my permanent facility.

Great place to workout at friendly staff, always cleaning machines and a variety of machines to choose from to work out at lots of treadmills which I like even though I got one spot I usually used unless they're cleaning it always peaceful and just do my thing! I would like to say how great it is for planet fitness right now to give free memberships to high schoolers during the summer, keep the kids staying fit and healthy for something to do rather than run the streets big shout out to planet fitness for doing something for the kids I bet it helps a lot of parents out I know it does my Sister knowing that my niece has something to do and it's giving my sister motivation to work out with her

I enjoy working out at Planet Fitness. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the facilities are spotless, and if there is a piece of workout equipment made, they probably have it. I called the Roseburg PF this AM at 11:25 and a man answered the phone, then hung up. I called a 2nd time and the same guy answered my question in a dialogue I would describe as an auctioneer in a stock barn. If your staff is so busy that they can't talk intelligibly and have to be asked to slow down to be understood then you'd be a waste of my time.

The staff was friendly and helpful. And that's very important to me. They have all the great equipment marked for social distancing, which I also appreciate. I wanted to lift weights k, but that section was rather busy while I was there. I'll have to find a less busy time.
My only complaint was that the showers weren't as clean as I would like them to be. There was a lot of hair floating around, and they didn't drain very quickly.
All in all though, I would say it was a very good experience. Customer service is a big deal to me, and I got good service there.

This gym is a great place to exercise, the location is convenient,  the trainer is awesome and the price is good.
But the masks are ridiculous, I've been putting up with it, and lately it's been relaxed. Then suddenly your strict to the point where you are harassing and I haven't been comfortable enough to go there anymore.

I look forward to going to my gym. The employee's always greet me when I enter and Thank me when I leave with a have a nice day, week-end or holiday if there is one.
Their equipment is clean and being cleaned on a daily basis. The bathrooms are always clean and well supplied. Tanning beds are clean and work very well.
Mask's are required by everyone and if you see someone without theirs, tell the desk, they will let them know it is mandated or they have to leave.

I am a senior customer, I feel safe and if I need help or have a question the employee's are always willing to help with a smile. Love to see the respect that is shown to not just myself but all of the older customers. I for one appreciate it very much. Judy F (Roseburg)
