Gym is always clean. Equipment in good condition. Combination lockers. Affordable price. I recently checked out another gym with a higher price point due to some additional amenities and classes. I actually ended up leaving due to being disgusted by how dirty it was and I felt uncomfortable being there. I was happy to walk back into Planet Fitness immediately after and really appreciate how clean this gym is, how friendly the staff is, and how the vibe of the gym is just so comfortable. I will definitely be a long term customer..

Charged my monthly fee after I canceled due to a system error causing my annual to not process properly. They took the monthly but still blocked me from coming in because of the annual that THEY couldn't take. Working with my bank now to report this to the BBB.

It’s a nice club. Clean and well run. I do wish that they had more recumbent bicycles. They are very popular and there are only six machines. There are 35 or 40 of the Nordic ski machines that are not as popular. Please make a trade out of 8 or 10 of those if you could. Thanks!

Was a member of Planet Fitness previously in another city. I cancelled my membership there because I like to use the 30 minute workout area with intensity. I am 69yo at the time of this post and a retired Marine so fitness is VERY important to me. While age has taken it's toll I can still get thru a CrossFit workout and run 3miles in under 24 minutes. I cancelled the membership because the constant guests parking themselves on a piece of equipment and screw around on their phones. ESPECIALLY in the 30 minute workout area. The staff at that PF was made aware of the issue by quite a few members and posted a sign that, of course, was ignored. Baltantly ignored. So far I have encountered this twice at this gym, but I've only used the area 5 times. I am hopeful it will not be similar to my previous experience.

I refuse to go to this specific King City location anymore. I bring my son with me and he works out with me 95% of the time. But due to medical issues with his legs I had him sit in the chairs because he couldn’t work out and I’m a single mom and had no where for him to go and I immediately was stopped before I even checked in and was told he can’t sit there and that he would need to walk around as I did my workout. Don’t get me wrong I understand if he was little but he’s 13 years old and has sat there multiple times before when he has issues with his legs. I have never asked anyone watch him or keep an eye on him I do that!!

Nothing like a workout killer. I tried to go start my workout but couldn’t continue and had to turn right around and leave within the first 5min because his legs were hurting him!

I LOOOOOOVE the black card spa features! I end every workout with a massage chair, tanning booth, or hydrotherapy bed. The front staff are almost all so nice and friendly and it is like a mini-vacation when I go to the gym. :) I also appreciate the cleanliness of the facility....The front staff is always busy cleaning and making sure things are nice for us who use the machines, restroom, spa area, etc. Also, the music is mostly really good and the spa music is different, so that's really relaxing after a good workout. Thanks to my favorite gym for being awesome!

It is what it is. There are no Olympic bars or squat racks and it works for most people. My major complaint is I was told the club would get some upgraded equipment, a hack-squat and plate loaded bench press. We joined in December, the equipment still isn’t there and no word on when it will arrive.

The club is clean, the staff are great. I like there are plenty of locations. I just want the equipment I was told would be added when I joined to arrive.

I've had trouble with my planet fitness account for years and have still had to be paying on it but not able to go into the club and use it because of a 200 and some dollar past due amount that didn't show up on my monthly statement. But when I finally found my home club Natasha the manager not only was very supportive and super friendly but she helped me access my account set up my app and waved my past due amounts when I had mentioned I was in treatment at the time of the unpaid balances. I've been resentful towards planet fitness for quite some time and just the phone call with Natasha changed my whole perspective around I appreciate human beings like her! Great job planet fitness!

The woman at the front desk is abrupt, rude, and often has her arms crossed at the front desk. You ask her to sign up for a massage or red light and she just stares at you blankly, no response. The tall brunette kid is the only one with good customer service.

Edit: no one must have spoken with her yet as she is still incredibly rude as ever. I’ll go to other locations but I can’t go back to this one. It’s unreal.

Discriminatory Experience at Planet Fitness, Tigard

I had a disappointing experience at the Tigard Planet Fitness with the manager, Natasha. While I was working out with my trainer on the phone, Natasha singled me out rudely, despite other members also using their phones. It felt discriminatory, as if American members were being favored. This treatment goes against the “Judgement Free Zone” philosophy, and I hope Planet Fitness addresses it so all members feel welcome.
I cancelled my membership today and NEVER RECOMMEND THAT OLD FASHION GYM AND IMPOLITE STAFF

I have had nothing but good experiences at this Planet Fitness. It's clean and still has that new gym smell. I have to call out Catherine the manager specifically. I like to pride myself on my memory but it failed me today so Catherine painstakingly opened all of the lockers until I found my belongings. To Whom It May Concern,

I have been a member of the Planet Fitness on 16200 Pacific Hwy W in Tigard, Oregon, for about three years and have mostly had positive experiences. However, there is one employee, a woman who wears glasses, who consistently makes me uncomfortable with her behavior. She often invades my personal space, particularly when I’m using the equipment. Most recently, she came between me and the mirror while I was on the Smith machine, which is only about 1 to 2 feet away. She asked if I was using a weight on the floor, and as I was deciding, she gave me a dirty look. This is not the first time she has acted this way. She seems very angry at work and appears to have a gender bias against men. It’s become very uncomfortable to check in or work out when she’s around. Due to this ongoing issue, I am changing my review to one star. I hope this matter is addressed, as I otherwise enjoy Planet Fitness.

I have been going to Planet Fitness for just about a year now. The Tigard location is so friendly! I am always greeted with a smile and as I am leaving they always wish me farewell! Planet Fitness truly is a no judgement zone type of gym. Everyone there is respectful and for the most part, they clean after they use the machines which is GREAT! Also, whenever I go, it is usually quite easy to find a machine to use! I have only ever seen a machine with an issue once (a ripped piece of leather on the weight machine) and the VERY next time I visited it was fixed. I would highly recommend Planet Fitness.

And the cashier charge me $20.00. Only for 45 minutes.

It's ok. My biggest complaint is about space and the ratio of their cardio vs weight machines. After New Years 2024 it's become incredibly crowded, so much to the point there have been several times I couldn't get the weights I needed. I think they could clear a row of those elliptical machines and replace them with more weight options, I've never seen all of the ellipticals taken there's a ton of them there. I think there should be more balance between the cardio options and weights. Additionally: not a whole lot of floor space for stretching. There's about 2 spots I can think of and they're very small.
