Portland Fit Body Forever is a small group fitness program designed for adults 55+
The functional workouts at Fit Body Forever are focused on building strength, boosting stamina, and increasing stability.
Our workouts are created and led by Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) coaches with additional training specifically for older adults, so you can rest easy knowing they are safe, effective, and made just for you.

Fit Body -- Forever?? Yesss!! That sounded like just what I needed when I joined two years ago. I was aging appropriately, according to my Dr, who classed me as geriatric! Me??? But I was indeed starting to REALLY feel my age. I had gained a bit of weight that I couldn't shake; my knees and shoulders were painful and had lost much range of motion. I was beginning to lose confidence in my ability to be safe in my own home -- if I fall, will I be able to get back up?? These issues were all addressed from the very first visit, with warm and energetic guidance from the staff Coaches.
Proper form is always emphasized so that I'll get the most from my gym time, but appropriate modifications are suggested, if needed, according to my current ability.
Speaking of ability, my shoulders have gained nearly 100% mobility and are no longer painful. I'm still working on my knees, but mobility and range have increased greatly and pain has decreased. I can now pop off the ground with the best of the grandkids. I have more energy than I thought I'd ever have, and feel younger than I thought possible.
I have put on several pounds of good, healthy, lean mass since I joined, so while my total weight hasn't changed much, my *shape* has, and in the best possible way! I couldn't be happier with the progress I've made. I am safer in my home and wherever I go because of the focus on strength, stability, and stamina in every class. Targeted challenges are aimed at real life activities that, without practice, can become more difficult (or even dangerous!) as we age.
All this "personal positive," *PLUS* I've gained a family of fun Seniors who are also focused on maintaining their bodies to serve them as best they can for however many days or years we have left. Who knows how long that will be? My forever may differ from yours, but that's ok -- this absolutely a non-judgement zone.

I was hesitant to commit to this because of travel conflicts, a knee injury and the drive from where I live. But boy, am I glad I joined. Itβs been a game changer for me. Coaches Amy, Sarah and Zoe are truly inspiring. Their positivity is infectious. They carefully guide everyone of all ages and abilities. I highly recommend this class for anyone 55+ and older wanting to get and stay mobile.

Best gym ever! I love the classes so much. Every one offers a wonderful variety of exercises and I have never felt better. Each coach/teacher is so encouraging and always provides support throughout the workout. As an added bonus the other members are very fun and so inspiring.

I have several injuries that have kept me away from working out. But my 60yr old body needed exercise! I gave Fit Body Forever a try and they have been exceptional! The trainers always adjust the moves to accommodate my various issues, and are kind and thoughtful. I feel better and stronger now than I have in a very long time!

When I started fit body forever I was concerned I was not fit enough, or couldn't keep up. They were so accommodating to where I was, now so much stronger and feeling great about my progress. Iβve tried so many different gyms and programs over many years, but this one just works for me. Itβs fun, goes by so fast, and every day is different. The coaches are awesome, the other members supportive, and everyone knows your name - it makes a difference!

Fit Body Forever is truly life-changing. From the excellent personalized coaching ( filled with humor, positivity and motivation) to the supportive community formed from the participants, this is the one workout I stick with. And my fitness has increased like crazy. I can easily haul my suitcase up into the overhead bins without even thinking twice!

I was having a hard time getting motivated in the morning. My lifestyle had slipped into bad slothlike habits during covid. Coach Amy was great at coming back to me with positive answers to my doubts. I started the fit life forever workout and I absolutely love it. I have more energy and strength. I also gained friends. I recommend giving it a go.
