The signage is terrible. It takes you to a Cuban restaurant on Google Maps and there’s nothing on the outside of building that says Powerhouse. There’s one door with a paper sign that says to go around back and you have to pull into the lot before you see the sign on the door. I had trouble finding this place the first time but the owner was kind enough to reach out and offer me a credit for my troubles and I appreciated that level of customer service. The actual class I took was AMAZING right at a time when I was having some more shoulder and back pain. I would recommend this place just with caveats about how to find it.

Loving the classes at Powerhouse. The heat feels good on my body. It’s great to take power yoga and slow burn classes because they complement each other. I love taking the classes after work to help destress and relax.

Powerhouse Hot Yoga and Movement is hands-down the best Salem yoga studio! From the moment you walk in, you feel the warm, welcoming community energy that makes this place so special. The studio itself is beautiful—modern, bright, and thoughtfully designed. It has a calming atmosphere that instantly sets the tone for an amazing class.
The instructors are incredibly skilled and bring so much intention, knowledge, and heart to every session. Whether you’re looking for hot yoga, a strength-focused class like Pilates or sculpt, a grounding slow flow, or something restorative, there’s truly something for everyone in our Salem community. Since joining, I’ve grown so much in my practice and always leave feeling both challenged and supported.
I can’t recommend Powerhouse enough. It’s more than a yoga studio—it’s a community that lifts you up. If you’re considering trying it, go. You’ll love it here! ❤️🔥

A fantastic hot yoga option new to Salem. I've had the privilege of taking classes with the owner Meg for a few years. Excited to see her open up this space. Classes are challenging, but they are very welcoming to a wide variety of skill sets and offer accommodations throughout the class based on your flexibility and ability. As a runner who does not necessarily have the best flexibility, it's a great way to keep me limber and my favorite way to cross train.

Knowledgable instructors, clean space, strong cuing, modifications provided for injuries/options, and overall great energy! While it is a newer studio, it is clear the owner has strong leadership qualities to best serve the Salem community. All of her instructors are community/service oriented, and extremely knowledgable in anatomical alignment. I am excited to practice here more!!

I took my first-ever hot yoga class at Powerhouse Yoga, and it was an incredible experience. Meg led the class with such thoughtful guidance and a calming presence that I instantly felt at ease. The space was welcoming, the flow was beautifully balanced, and I left feeling both relaxed and rejuvenated. I can’t imagine a better introduction to hot yoga — highly recommend!

I dropped into Claire's Power Flow class while visiting from out of town. The facilities were spotless and comfortable, the other students warm and welcoming and the instructor friendly and knowledgeable. Claire offered enlightening verbal cues to lead us through an intelligently-sequenced series of asanas that culminated in a demanding peak pose (Svarga Dvijasana) before transitioning us through a gentle cool-down to a well-deserved savasana. I left the studio feeling physically challenged, mentally stimulated and emotionally energized and I'll definitely be returning to Powerhouse Hot Yoga next time I'm in Salem.

Just took my first power flow class with Chelsie and I cannot recommend it enough!! She has great energy and great communication. I was scared that hot yoga was going to be too intense, but I found it to be an enjoyable challenge that left me feeling wonderful after. Will definitely be back!

Just took my first class at Powerhouse in DT Salem this morning for their opening weekend!
I Immediately went home and purchased my membership. I'm SO happy Salem finally has a spot for dedicated hot yoga classes. If you haven't done hot yoga before, I highly recommend it! The fitness benefits are fantastic, but I mainly love it for the spiritual growth that I've seen in myself.
When I lived back in Vancouver, I was a regular at my local hot yoga studio and have missed this part of my life SO much.
The studio was extremely diverse and had a wide mix of people. The founder stood at the door, greeted every single person that came inside and made the effort to personally welcome each guest. The space was clean andd exceeded my expectations. I'm so happy they're here.

Powerhouse Hot Yoga is more than just a yoga studio... it's a sanctuary. From the moment you walk in, Meg Boyd and her team create an atmosphere that feels both welcoming and empowering, no matter your level of experience. Meg has a rare gift for reading the energy in the room- knowing when to gently challenge you to dig deeper, and when to remind you to breathe, let go, and simply be present.
Her classes strike the perfect balance between motivation and mindfulness. One moment you're pushing past what you thought was your limit, and the next, you're melting into stillness, fully at peace. Meg's teaching style is both grounding and uplifting. She meets you exactly where you are, yet somehow helps you leave as a better version of yourself.
If you're looking for a space around Salem that truly honors body, mind, and spirit- Powerhouse Hot Yoga is it. Whether you're brand new or have been practicing for years, you'll find a community and a teacher/owner that makes you feel at home.
Highly recommend giving Powerhouse Hot Yoga a try!

Meg offers classes with an energy warm enough to heat the studio from all the positive vibes and encouragement she brings to a yoga practice. Add a some heat to the space, and you’ve got a dynamic practice that helps set the tone for your day or evening. Highly recommend scheduling Powerhouse into your movement routine as soon as you can!
