pretty bad downgrade from what it was before , from a 24/7 gym to one that closes at 10… $30 increase just for a sauna, for the cheaper membership you only have a 4 hour span to workout 10am-2pm. Would recommend saving yourself time and just apply at the courthouse athletic club👍

Honestly was super excited to sign up was not told it was locking into a 12 month contract person who signed me up did not specify and helped me sign everything however I am now pregnant and due to blood around my placenta I cannot work out went in to try and cancel and they told me I can either pay or get sent to collections. Honestly terrible business terrible experience and would not recommend this gym. I had better luck at planet fitness and they were way nicer. I got told by employee someone would call me from management and no-one ever did really trashy customer service and hopefully they close down instead of dragging people around and not fully stating the cost sucks that I’ll end up with something in collections because I cant pay but hey as long as they make money by blatantly lying to people its cool right? Garbage gym don’t recommend.

The rebranded BFit (more or less), while boasting quality equipment, disappoints with its relentless upselling tactics and misleading pricing. Promised a monthly rate for personal training, I was shocked to discover it was actually per session, leading to unexpected charges and confusion. The lack of documentation further complicates matters, leaving me feeling pressured and taken advantage of. Attempts to resolve the issue were met with resistance and gaslighting, reflecting a culture more focused on sales than customer care. In essence, the gym's practices resemble those of a cult, prioritizing profit over genuine concern for members.

Furthermore, it's worth noting that there is no corporate structure as claimed, and the gym has faced administrative dissolution thrice since 2021, casting doubt on its stability and credibility. You’re better off going elsewhere.

Do I have to die to get out of a contract? I moved out of state where there is no Prosper gym in my area but I'm still having to pay $45 a month for my membership that I'm not using. Prosper told me I have to pay even if I move to another town, even if there isn't another Prosper gym. I didn't anticipate moving but now I'm stuck paying for something I'm not even using. Scam

It’s never really busy which is nice. But a lot of the equipment either has holes/rips in the seats and have a lot of dirt/rust in the seats. If you visit once, staff members will constantly try to contact you to come again. I pid for their Diamond Access, which was $37 every two weeks. REALLY expensive for a club that offers so little. They ask that you pay not only that first week, but the last week as well signing on. When I canceled my membership, they still charged me because apparently I need a give a 3 day notice before the next billing cycle. This was never clearly said to me. Even when I went to cancel, the front desk said there will be no more charges to my account, basically lied to me.
All I’m saying is Physiq is way better gym than this place. Physiqs cheaper, has better staff, and would never pull charges like this without fixing it. They won’t rob you like Prosper will.

Been to a lot of gyms from planet fitness to 24 hour fitness to physiq, have to admit prosper is the 1 solid gym with every thing I need, all the equipment you can ask for, knowledgeable and helpful staff, the first gym I’ve felt welcome to all around. I strongly recommend it to all my friends especially if they take the gym seriously, also a great place to start your journey and get some personal training. Staff here are all lifters and very easy to communicate with vs. your average joe behind the counter. 10 stars 👍

Update. The music here stinks worse than rotting chicken guts. They used to switch up but now only play garbage. Very hard to stay more than 30 minutes if you don't have ear buds. They have a nice assortment of free weight and barbells. They also have lots of full motion strength equipment. There are enough treadmills for a football team. Only drawback is they need a stair stepper and the changing room is small.

What makes this decent 5-star gym with a great veriety of equipment a 3-star gym? Let me tell ya, janky improperly bolted equipment and dirty floors. I'm talking about bolts missing, bolts that are so obviously loose it's like they were only assembled with bare hands and no wrenches or loctite to keep them from coming loose. Floors that constantly have human hair, dirt and pieces or trash. Once I picked up a bandaid stuck to the floor that had been in the spot for over a week.

Don’t go to prosper in Keizer they suck. I went for a couple of months and then when I got pregnant again I stopped going they make you go in to cancel can’t cancel over the phone or anything. Well I did walked in there talked to a worker and canceled my membership never set foot in there after and half a year later they are still charging me a gym membership every month I’ve e mailed them called them spoke to multiple workers and they still are charging me a month since their worker failed to have me sign some form the day I went in. But you would think me telling them I have no use for their membership they would stop sending me invoices. WARNING: AVOID THIS GYM AT ALL COSTS
My husband signed up with a gym around March of 2023 because we were offered a discount. We were offered the discount because my husband did a commercial for them, so the discount was a trade off.
After attending for a while, I signed up for training sessions. It was the usual sales pitch to get me to sign up before leaving to think about it. I was able to leave and talk with my husband about the cost first, then decided to move forward with the training payments. During the sign up process for sessions, they moved my husband and I over to another type of monthly membership without us knowing that it would be a year contract. Olee, one of the employees there, admitted via phone that that was a mistake on his part. We did not find this out until we were moving forward with canceling.
In regards to the training, I initially thought I would be with the same trainer that I started out with, but then that trainer disappeared and I was assigned another trainer, Selah. I did a couple of sessions with Selah, then my hours at work changed which caused me to reach out to Selah to adjust the session appointment times. After reaching out to Selah through instagram inbox in September about switching to early morning sessions (we had been communicating via Instagram for a while) she never responded and proceeded to unfollow me.
I didn't hear from anyone, then after two months, I called to let them know that I would like to cancel my membership and my sessions. They let us know that we would have to come into the gym to sign paperwork to cancel, so that's what I did on November 29th, 2023. While I was signing the paperwork, I let Olee know that I also am expecting a refund for the two months that I wasn't reached out to from anyone for training sessions that are a part of the contract. Olee said that he would make it known (to their mystery owner/manager) that I am wanting a refund and that he would get back to me. A week after I signed the paperwork, I called to follow up on my refund request and received the answer that I keep getting: they are the middleman and are waiting on information from their boss. It is unclear who and where his boss is because they are never at this location.
After following up, I received an email stating that my cancellation could not be processed because we were on contract for a year. After receiving that email, I called Olee and let him know about the email and he said that he would follow up again with his boss. This was the phone call that Olee also stated that the membership that he switched my husband and I to was a mistake and that he should have made us aware. Now I'm continuing to follow up and being told the same answer with no results. I've been told from multiple people within the city of Keizer that this has happened to them as well and that they had to fight to get their money back.
I think it's important that they are held accountable and that they change how they operate. I don't believe that the current owners should remain the owners based on how they handle their business. All I want is my money back: 3 months worth of training cost and monthly membership fees.

Best gym I’ve been to! I primarily train powerlifting and they’ve recently added a bunch of steel kg plates and a bar jack for deadlifts. They are also 24 hours with a diamond membership which is definitely worth it if you work before 6am.

People that hate and leave negative comments about this gym are delusional, I’m an mma fighter, more successful as a grappling purist. I want my money back. I was considering this gym after driving by many times and came in to check it out. It's a nice gym but at a ridiculously expensive price of $74 a month for the diamond membership. I want to switch gyms to get a change of scenery and was considering other options as well. I came in yesterday and the manager was very pushy and begged me to sign up on the spot when I preferred to wait another time because I wanted to consider other gym options. I really regret doing this but I caved and signed up for the membership on the spot when I wasn't sure if I actually wanted to make this place my new gym. I originally thought the diamond membership was $37 a month but it was actually bi-weekly and they charge $74 a month. That is far more expensive than any other gym where I had a membership. I wish I didn't cave to the pressure he put on me and said no. Selling your gym and benefits is one thing but it's another to act pushy and beg for someone to give you their money on the spot. Do you know what would help gain and retain long-term members? Being respectful and not acting pushy.

If there is a way to get a refund, even if it's just half of that $74 then I want it. I just work a part-time minimum wage job and I don't have much money to freely spend especially on a super expensive gym membership like this. There is another gym I am choosing instead and they don't act pushy like this or talk down on other gyms. Please learn customer service and give me back some of my money.

The selling point was that everyone who worked there was a trainer and could always help. That was until they hired Jack. We had a misunderstanding with our kid and a trainer on how she and the trainer was thinking they put the account on hold for a few months. We guess it did not get done for our kid was only 17 not 18. But no one told us that. My wife lost her job and we had vary little money and prosper took out from us on a Unexpected date and when we called to let them know we thought it was on hold and they took the only money we had for food for 2 weeks to feed a family of 5. The new manager who is not a trained trainer pretty much told me he did not care, and the money was owed and how my kid was in the wrong for trying to put it on hold. He took no ownership for it as a misunderstanding with my kid and one of his trainer he put it all on us. Any time any of us had to deal with Jack it was horrible. We told him that we now had no money for food and he literally said well the good news is your kid can workout with a trainer for a month. We will no longer support them. Adrian is amazing. Good luck Adrian in all you do.

Okay so I am giving 2 reviews. The reason I am doing this is for I want to make sure the people that worked or still work there gets the recognization that they deserve. First shout out it to Adrian. Adrian is an amazing young man and he is good at his job. Adrian has worked with my kid for almost 3 years. We started going after it first opened. Adrian has worked with my kid with sports and just every day training. He knows how to push her and when to push her. He knows when she just needed to be supported in what she was doing. We are no longer with the gym and we are going to miss Adrian a lot. We as well are going to miss some of the OG staff like Sal, Aspen, Matt and Oley.

Started at a one star because of something that happened in the gym, I moved it to a 5 star because jack, who is an admin for the company reached out to me, and fixed the situation. Made me feel much better about what happened and the resoultion. They flat out lie and the equipment is in disrepair. The single rowing machine is always broken. I think it stems from their "trainers" teaching people to use it wrong. The handle cuts up your hands because people have attached weights to it, and the chain binds up. Its terrible. That piece of equipment is the main reason i go to a gym,, and they only have 1 broken one. They don't tell you this before you join of course. There are also no fitness classes despite having a room that appears clearly to be for classes.

It says everywhere that you can cancel anytime. In reality you have to take off work to go in to a prescheduled meeting with a manager to cancel between 9-5 on weekdays. Beware. I tried to cancel before and the manager didn't show up to the scheduled meeting. 8 months later, it finally got canceled, I think although they haven't stopped charging me yet.

If you go, get a day pass, and pay with cash. Whatever you do, do not ever give them your credit card or bank info unless you plan on canceling the credit card.

All of the staff is so kind, it’s a very well kept gym. I have a few memberships to other local gyms & this is the most dependable one. You won’t find broken or dirty equipment. Great location & no matter what time of day I go I can hop on any machine or whatever I need.

Great gym!

Prosper is a wonderful gym with some great staff members and great training for people at are new at working out and need that helping hand. All the daily staff is super welcoming and kind. The gym itself is pretty slow without any crazy big rush hours. The trainers like Matt, Ollie, Coleman and Selah are all very helpful and kind as well as supportive.

Cost can be affordable for some but for the all access membership the price is very high considering how little comes with it. The gym also has the lasting smell of pee or sweat no matter how much staff cleans it. There is also no locker rooms just showers and bathrooms.

Some of the management is unprofessional and have little to no filter when talking at the desk in front of members. I’ve also overheard the staff talking about some members behind their backs. However other management like Jack is fantastic and very professional.

They definitely have some flaws within the company but if you’re looking for a gym that is a good gym to start at and not have anything crazy busy or packed this is a great starting gym!

Easily the best gym in Keizer. There is everything that a good gym needs. The equipment is great, the environment is extremely friendly, and it is never busy enough that you can’t get in a good workout. Definitely give it a shot!

Prosper is a great gym with amazing trainers! I love the environment, people and equipment. They have 3 sets of dumbbells which is so nice because you never have to wait for a pair.

This company will steal your money. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Do not sign up here unless you're willing to pay a life time membership. I canceled my membership in July of 2022 and they have been stealing my money ever since. I’ve gone in on 3 separate occasions trying to cancel my membership and I continue to be charged every month.

Warning it is almost impossible to get them to cancel your membership. We tried for 5 months and was charged the entire time they would not cancel it. Horrible customer service and accounting department is t any better. I would not recommend them my son is home from College in the summers and needs to workout for football but we will NEVER use them again!

This is for all my people who are afraid to start. It’s a lengthy one. I’ve been going to prosper for 3 months.. when I first signed up I was so nervous, I have huge anxiety when it comes to the gym… fear of being judged, not knowing what to do.. etc. My first time coming in I was greeted with kindness, when you sign up they offer a free IFA where you sit down and go over goals, go through a work out aimed for you, they show you how to use equipment etc. Jack and sal really understood how nervous I was and were so supportive. I never once felt intimidated, it was like having a little bestie cheering you on and pushing you to be your best self. I genuinely believe they care about everyone who comes in and everyone who works there is so so kind and ready to answer any questions or demonstrate if you need help. The entire team is amazing. I decided to sign up for there personal training… but definitely never once felt pressured to do so. In the two months I have been working with Matt I have made so much progress. I’m the strongest I’ve ever been and working now towards being in the best shape I’ve ever been in. He literally is a beast and so encouraging. They push you and want to see your progress just as much as you do. On the days I’m doing solo workouts someone always comes and checks in or just cheers you on. These people have become my little gym fam…
I’m so happy I’ve found prosper. If your on the fence.. just do it. It’s life changing.

Genuinely the best gym I have ever been too! I have tried many different gyms and have never felt more comfortable. The staff treats you like your friends/family and like they have known you forever. It’s extremely affordable, and clean with the most diverse equipment for any level of experience. Terrible customer service! I am healing from an auto accident, internal and external injuries. Joined their gym to try have a dry and safe place to work out while still recovering. Their trainer talked me into doing sessions and assured me they would help in my recovery process. They pushed me to the point where I was struggling to walk for days after, I ended up in bed for days because of how much pain I was in.

When I told them that this type of training was not going to help me with my recovery and asked if they would please cancel my contract they refused to cancel and told me that I had those days no matter what and then changed my account again for their services that I can’t physically do.

All I was looking for was some positive encouragement while recovering but what they offer is to push you and don’t provide the right kind of services for someone that’s still recovering from an auto accident.

I strongly suggest anyone that’s considered signing a contract with them to reconsider because if you have any kind of medical emergencies come up they will not work with you. Their main concern is their financial gain and not helping you reach your goals or what’s best for you.

Best gym experience so far. I thought I knew all there was to know about fitness but I have learned a lot in the short time I've been there. I absolutely adore the staff. The environment is positive and welcoming, and this is coming from a pessimist that does not care for working out. They're very eager to assist you when you need them, are always smiling and when you walk in the door, you feel like old friends. The gym is neat & clean. They offer a huge variety of things to do so you don't get bored. The trainer I am currently working with is beyond exceptional. I am so thankful to have found this place.

If you want money stolen from you, this gym is your place! Any fine details in their “no contract, contract” won’t be told to you so they can try to scam you later. Even after canceling, they will continue to fraudulently charge your credit card. Also funny how they are pushing their trainers and current members to come on and post good reviews to try and cover the negative ones, which all entail them being scammers. Beware!

Best kept secret in town. You want space to do your own thing? It’s there. You need guidance? The employees are all certified trainers with years of experience and expertise. They’ve got all the bells and whistles to ensure that you get to where you need to be no matter where you’re at in your journey or where you’re trying to take it. Trainers are cool, and gym is nice, but Watch for fraud charges after cancelling membership. Happened to me, my sister and now my best friend. I feel bad for telling them to go there not knowing this happens to quite a few people, and the gym will ignore every attempt at resolution unless you go in person to sort it out with a manager who’s rarely on sight. The Poor handling of members after the fact is unfortunate.

You don’t think it will happen to you until you cancel and it does. But like many of the comments say, once you cancel, they still fraudulently charge your card. Good luck trying to communicate with them about it. They will either have some bogus answer or no answer at all. The management is scammy and I don’t understand how this company is still getting away with this.

I also find it funny how the manager and trainers are posting great reviews and having their clients do the same so they can try and hide all the negative ones.
