Pictures don't do the experience justice-- it's in how you feel in your body afterwards. The teachers here are un-intimidating gentle experts. I feel welcomed, challenged, and opened up after a session.

I have been going to Reform since 2009. I appreciate the classical approach they take to Pilates. I am a spine and Physical Medicine physician and feel like this has revolutionized my approach to patients plus my own pilates practice.
All the instructors are knowledgeable and make an effort to keep up their training.
To make it affordable, I am a member and also work out with a few other clients of a similar level with the group package. Not only do we challenge each other, we keep it fun and have become great friends.
I would say Reform is a non-intimidating and safe space to explore the world of pilates.

I love this place so much! Truly a wonderful studio. They have such a great variety of classes and I've done them all. The instructors are also amazing and really knowledgeable. I actually had to move away recently and I miss reFORM like crazy. Having Pilates mat and reformer classes as well as gyrotonics and gyrokenesis, plus massage, and Alexander technique? I truly didn't know how good I had it. Miss y'all!

I began my lessons here as a complete novice to the Pilates world, but reFORM has never made me feel like an interloper to this magical realm. The work they've done on me — or, rather, the work we've done together — makes my body feel new; I can stretch and move in ways I'd never imagined for myself. Stephanie is a hero :) go here!

Great intro package gave me the ability to get detailed private instruction so I could ease into group classes or even do mat classes from home, while knowing how to breathe during the exercises. Beautiful decor and chill vibe.

This is an amazing studio. For $40/month I get to work out independently on excellent equipment. The teaching staff is brilliant and there’s a wide range of options for different budgets. I’d recommend membership if you want to do Pilates and/or Gyrotonic more than once per week. It’s really big so it usually feels comfortable and quiet. There’s definitely a community where some of the clients have been going over fifteen years. I think that could be intimidating to a new person but pretty much all the clients seem smart and friendly.

I've been coming to Reform Pilates for 12 years and I love it! Back in 2007 I was searching for a Pilates studio closer to home and landed at Reform. My weekly session at Reform is a highlight of my week. Even though I only make it in once a week, the sessions have made a huge impact on my body. I credit Pilates and now Gyrotonic with helping me gain core strength and awareness on how I carry my body day to day.

If you're looking for a classical Pilates studio or just a great workout, do yourself a favor and check this place out! The three owners are friendly and so knowledgeable. Every teacher there has their own strengths and passions outside of Pilates that inform their teaching and lead to a super well rounded learning experience for the clients. I'm always in awe of how good I feel when I leave and how reliably I can count on a full body exercise. They always ask how your body is feeling that day and if there's anything you want to work on. I could go on and on, but just go see for yourself!

I started going to reFORM Pilates and Movement Studio with a fair amount of skepticism. Plagued by injuries, I had to change from traditional gym workouts. I thought Pilates was sort of a "soft" form of exercise that was good for stretching and improving my core, but not for serious work outs. I. Was. Wrong. I credit my injury free year and improved strength to the amazing staff. Their expertise in assessing subtle changes I needed to make to reach my goals has made all the difference. Lastly, if you think you can’t have pretty muscles…check out Matt. ;)

ReForm Pilates & Movement is a wonderful studio! What makes it a wonderful studio is the owners, teachers, and the welcoming professional educational space that is created. The teachers are top notch. The community is kind, welcoming, dedicated, and easy going. As a person who has studied in multiple movement sciences and participated in many studio/work out environments, I am always impressed with ReForm because of the high quality of teaching as the well as the friendly accepting unpretentious environment of they create. It's a rare combination that I truly appreciate. I work hard in my lessons and appreciate being met with skillful teaching catered to my skill set in a professional but casual environment. I am always met with smiles and feel better every time I leave. I highly recommend ReForm Pilates!

My body has never felt better! The staff is friendly, professional and encouraging. From the beginner who has never seen the inside of a pilates studio to the seasoned pro, this place has something to offer everyone. Need look no further, this is the place to be if you want to practice Pilates in Portland.

I started with the Pilates intro package at reFORM (5 private sessions plus concurrent mat classes) and found it to be a great introduction to the system. That was back in 2010, and I've been taking 3-4 classes at reFORM each week ever since.
The studio offers group Pilates mat classes and GYROKINESIS(R) classes for free as long as you have at least one equipment session per week, so you can get a workout nearly every day of the week for the price of one equipment session.
The instructors are gifted teachers, perceptive and well trained. They are quick to offer beginner and advanced versions of exercises to make group sessions challenging for a variety of skill levels. Each session is different from the last, and, even after 4 years, I'm still discovering new challenges and more advanced techniques.

Not just a trite assertion. I was suffering from moderate/severe fibromyalgia and depression when I started private sessions with Teresa. I recovered from two surgeries with her as my rock and now I am off all pain medications; despite going from being a student to a very physical full- time job. I have been getting training from the other owners and staff for about 8 months and it is always a very positive and demanding experience. Reform has revolutionized my existence!
