I can't say enough good things about Resilient Human Performance!!! It has been the best experience I have ever had at a gym. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Resilient Human Performance is the real deal.

This place has made a huge difference for me, my son, and even my dad. It’s rare to find a gym that can meet three generations right where we’re at — physically and mentally — but Resilient does it effortlessly. Their approach is so unique: it’s not just about lifting weights or working up a sweat, it’s about building total health, confidence, and resilience from the inside out.

Every coach genuinely cares and takes time to tailor things to your goals and your current abilities. The environment is positive, encouraging, and full of people who just want to get better. On top of that, the value is incredible for the level of expertise and personal attention you get.

If you’re looking for a gym that goes beyond “fitness” and helps you truly grow stronger in every sense, Resilient Human Performance is it.

I worked with Arron shortly after he started Resilient Human Performance (RHP). Life was busy and I stopped going. Years later my health deteriorated and I returned to Resilient Human Performance. Arron is very professional and knowledgable about my medical issues and exercise, and his team is always ready to help. The exercise plan he wrote, and continues to adjust, amazed my Physical Therapist and brought me continued strength and neurologic improvement. RHP is more than worth your commitment.

I have been with RHP for the past six months and I could not be happier with the coaching, support and my customized workout routine. After just a couple months, I felt stronger and my husband noticed a change in my gait - no more back pain! He was so impressed he joined the gym! Thank you, Aaron, Uno, Jesus and Nathan.

I've been with Aaron for nearly 8 years. Working with him has helped me get rid of back pain that had been with me for over 40 years. I injured myself again late this summer and once again, Aaron's team has restored things for me. The trainers carefully assessed what had gone wrong and provided simple, effective corrective exercises for me. Combined with Chiropractic adjustments and massage, I am once again recovering. I appreciate their careful, kind work with me. Nathan is an excellent massage therapist. It is so convenient to have massage and exercise at the same facility.

I was recovering from a hamstring tear and broken ankle when I joined up with Aaron and his team at RHP. My goal was to backpack without pain. They were able to assess my areas of weakness and give me corrective exercises (included homework) to address those issues plus prescribe overall strengthening exercises. After 3 months of personalized training in gym workouts I competed my first 3 day backpack trip as a test! No pain, and was strong to complete the journey. Aaron is skilled at prescribing exercises to address specific problems. The personal trainers are also skilled and attentive and very personable. The gym has a non-competitive feel to it and everyone is super friendly. I highly recommend RHP at as gym to join for injury recovery and strengthening.

Resilient Human Performance (RHP) is a terrific place to increase your fitness through a program that’s individually suited to your needs.
My husband and I moved to Salem at the end of August. After a significant search for just the right fitness center, I found Aaron Hague, RHP Owner and his team of trainers (Nathan, Uno and Jesus).
My husband and I are over 75 and wanted a gym that provides an individualized program with coaching versus a one size fits all approach. Or worse yet, wandering aimlessly through a big gym trying to figure out what to do and how to do it. It was very important that there be trainers available to assist with the program and techniques.
In the short period of time that we’ve been at RHP, we have been so incredibly impressed. They are all very encouraging, attentive, well trained, knowledgeable and fun. They limit their sessions to a manageable number of members so that you get individualized attention. And although they may have several other members in the studio, they are always engaging with you.
If you have a limitation which I do (knee replacement), they work with you to ensure you’re getting the most out of the program but not doing anything that would cause further injury or discomfort. I’ve been in several fitness center environments over the years and I can honestly say, RHP shines above them all.

The owners and staff at Resilient Human Performance are dedicated to helping each client get the most out of their training experience. Some gyms trainers design one size fits all plans and then shoehorn clients into them, but Aaron takes the time to evaluate each client's starting point regarding strength and mobility and designs individual customized workout plans tailored to each client's needs and training goals. Then the team at RHP monitors progress closely so they can modify those plans to keep the workouts challenging and make sure that you're not just spinning your wheels in the same old routine. I can't recommend them enough.

Prior to Resilient, I had become inconsistent with exercise, despite having enjoyed athletics in the past. With significant help, I eventually saw the light that the consequences of not exercising regularly, especially as the years go by, are worse than exercise itself. Yet not all exercise is equal. I am happy to say that I trust the knowledgeable staff at Resilient to identify my specific needs and craft a targeted plan toward recovery and beyond. If an injury or something comes up midstream, and as I make progress, they are right there with a new plan that is do-able and helpful. That is after I had previously pretty much given up finding exercises that wouldn't just make old injuries worse. Even if I don't feel like showing up some days, I still do -- because of the fun atmosphere and knowing that I will almost certainly depart better than when I arrived.

Resilient has been amazing. My son has been attending for a couple months and as an athlete grown so much. Working with other athletes when we see an imbalance they go talk to the trainer and are given corrective exercises to help them achieve their goals. As a parent and coach I have full confidence in this gym.

I'm doing so well both in and out of the gym. All of the staff are very knowledgeable, upbeat and caring. The whole vibe is one of being helpful and cheering each other on. I love that every member has their own routine specifically made for them and what their goals are.

For years I've had trouble with my shoulder, back and legs. Now I'm able to go on long car rides without leg pain, I was able to lift my own luggage into the overhead bin on the airplane and lift a heavy tire into the back of our truck! I owe it all to what they've taught me at the gym.

Of course, you have to do the work. If you expect to go to the gym twice a week for an hour and not do the exercises that they give you to correct the imbalances that you have, you're not going to be making progress. If you want to get out of pain and have an active life or you want to get better at your sport(s) of choice, this is the place to come.

Absolutely love how this gym runs. The trainers are so fantastic, available any time you need help, and also watching to ensure form is correct to prevent future injuries. They're just amazing at what they do and I am so happy to have found them!

Our son finished his sophomore year of basketball and his knees were in pain. We did physical therapy and acupuncture with some improvement, but he was still in pain when playing. We were referred to Resilient Human Performance by two parents. There was a complete evaluation of his needs to maximize his time and select correct exercises. Aaron and his staff ( Jesus and Nathan ) are detailed and focused. Our son did the various exercises on site and at home. In just a few months he feels better than he has in a year; all while still training for the upcoming season. Highly recommend Resilient Human Performance for any athlete seeking to unlock their potential.

I came to RHP because I have two herniated discs in my neck and my physical therapist recommended it. My doctor said I needed surgery. When I started I was reluctant to say the least. I don’t do gyms. I hurt like crazy and I didn’t want to be there, but I wanted to try it out “just in case” it helped. I no longer have pain, I am postponing surgery indefinitely, my strength has increased dramatically and I love the gym! Aaron and his crew are so welcoming, encouraging, and share joy in your wins when you get stronger and better. You get what you pay for and I promise you that this is no ordinary gym. This is top notch and your program is geared towards your needs and goals. A trainer is always available to help and answer questions. It is a community of people wanting to be healthier and support one another.

My daughter has had severe shoulder pain for almost 2 years. Nmerous doctor appts & more than 6 months in physical therapy, we were told to just do what you can to the level of pain you can handle. "There really isn't much more we can do." Luckily, we heard from a friend about RHP & decided to give it a try. Within the last 2 months, her pain level has dropped significantly, and her range of motion and strength has increased so much. Actual results, actual tangible improvements have made us believers. These people know what they are doing and will tweak your plan as often as needed to ensure you are at your best. Thank you to the whole RHP team, you are doing important work!

I have struggled for years to find consistency with any kind of exercise program. As a physical therapist myself, I have joked that I “perform 1-2 reps of different exercises all day at work,” but, as multiple nagging injuries mounted, I knew I had to make a change. Resilient Human Performance has been that change!

While it’s only been a few weeks so far, Aaron and his team have already made a noticeable impact on how my body feels and my attitude towards “going to the gym”. My low back/SI feel as good as they have felt in years and I actually look forward to my next session. They customize your workouts based on your individual needs and goals, as well as take the time to make sure you are using correct form.

If you are looking for a different gym experience and want to work with trainers who know how to motivate you to work toward your goals, give Resilient Human Performance a try!

I wish everyone could experience RHP. I appreciate the attention to detail that our trainers give me, and the constant oversight, encouragement, progressive workouts, and the education they impart as they explain to me how the body works. I am impressed with their knowledge of kinesiology/sports medicine/exercise physiology and nutrition. The trainers not only treat each member as a friend they are happy to see and catch up with each day, but they desire to help us reach goals and improve our health through very personalized correctives, workouts, and education on nutrition. Aaron is very good at communication via email, texts and in person. One of my favorite things at RHP is when one of the trainers pulls me from the floor to the training table or a mat to assist me with therapeutic massage, working on fascia or bound up muscles that need release. I look forward to seeing the other members and getting to know them a little more personally as we all encourage one another during the workouts.

💪 True strength and conditioning coaching!! 💪

Aaron, Nathan and Jesus are knowledge trainers who are not only skilled at unlocking athletic performance in people, they're pros at rehabilitation and working with you to build your body back after it breaks. I entered RHP in the worst shape in my life. A difficult pregnancy and delivery followed by years of neglect had left my body weak and in pain from daily activities. Slowly but surely, my time at RHP has helped me gain strength and potentially avoid reconstructive surgery 🤞

The gym is inclusive, supportive and has a great mix of people. There are athletes of all ages, shapes, sizes, genders, colors and abilities. It's such a supportive and empowering place to work around people who truly want you to be well. Whether you are looking to get into the best shape of your life, need help unlocking the next level in your athletic career, are in pain and need help knowing how to navigate exercise with injury or just looking for a place where you will have access to experts every time you're on the floor, RHP is for you. The coaches will watch and train you at you progress. There's ALWAYS someone to help and it's included in the membership.

Give it a go. It's so worth it!

RHP has been a game changer for my husband and I. I chased my shoulder pain doing injections, physical therapy, chiropractic and a few other therapies, but none got to the root of the issue. They are incredibly in tune to the root cause and if you are willing to put out the effort, they will be the absolute answer to any structural pain you are experiencing. We’ve seen a gamut of ages and athletic ability there and it has been the coolest thing to see someone in their 70’s come in completely stooped over and stiff and then several months later, they are walking with a much more upright stance and with agility. Once you experience the pain relief and understand their philosophy, you will be so thankful you’ve finally stopped chasing your pain! It truly has been the end goal “treatment” that we have chased for years!

I'm a 73 year-old woman and have been working with Aaron and his staff off and on over the last year and half for the tension/pain in my neck/back/shoulders and right knee, due to old injuries.. I have experienced renewed mobility and gotten back to a level of fitness that allows me to camp, hike, bike and kayak, pain free.

Their techniques and processes are unique in the gym world. Trust me, I've been going to gyms since the 1970's. This is not your ordinary gym, which is why I believe I have been so succesful at gaining my strength and resilency back.

Certainly, it has required a lot of hard, dedicated work on my part. Highly recommend RHP! Aaron is a unique combination of professional, encouraging, funny, and knowledgeable! Although I have minimal experience working with Nathan, he has been consistently helpful and welcoming. They both seem to genuinely care about their clients and helping us reach our goals.

I came to this gym to help with my shin splints, intending to quit after a few months. That was over a year ago and I'm still going. I've never been interested in joining a gym but the hands on approach, detailed custom workouts and friendly atmosphere keep me coming back.

Aaron really knows what he's doing and can fix your pain and muscle issues. I came to him because of back pain and although it took awhile, the exercises that he gave me really worked. I developed some shoulder pain due to arthritis and he is now helping me with that. In addition to his skill level, he is a very nice guy, pleasant to talk to and at times, very funny. He is the guy to see to help heal your body!

Aaron and Tina and Nathan are professional and friendly. They have a great deal of knowledge regarding how to guide people toward greater physical abilities. Although they work with many athletes, they are equally interested in people who have age, injuries and physical difficulties working against them.

This gym is the best I’ve ever been to. The trainers actually care about not only helping you to become stronger and meet your personal goals, but about staying safe and not injuring yourself while doing so. I highly recommend RHP!

Aaron is a great trainer. I started with him in the gym and he has helped me with my posture and strength substantially. Additionally when the gym had to close due to COVID he has done a great job giving me an at-home workout based on the equipment I have! The feedback and accountability have really helped me stay on track! Would highly recommend.
