BEWARE. One of their Referees pick pocketed our team member and stole her phone and car keys. We were only able to find out because you can watch the on field cameras to watch old games. When confronted front desk staff and management, They excused the behavior as Mohammed always acts that way. He is a jokester. We are extremely shocked that they let this slide. We will be posting this within our community to make sure everyone is aware. They offered to put him on probation for one year which we were completely satisfied with. Unfortunately they did not follow through and he is refereeing again two weeks after the incident. Please be aware of your items. Their referees are not employees and are hired from outside organizations. We will be escalating the issue against the referee personally.

This franchise can be frustrating…
Because though our entire team lives in and around the east side courts, they continue to schedule ALL our games at the west side location. I am SO sick of spending my Sundays driving to Tigard.

Most of the refs are good here, but one ref is the worst we’ve ever had in our near 9 years as a team. He might as well have taken the other team out for ice cream after the game. Absolutely unprofessional. Haven’t seen him again so maybe enough people complained so he isn’t there anymore…?

Oh and, the food at both locations are great! But service is limited so some days they don’t have the restaurant open which is frustrating when you were counting on grabbing a bite there. So just keep that in mind. Call ahead if you need to know.

Seating/Viewing is challenging for some of the courts but if you can get a spot in the restaurant you get a decent overview of the far left court (seen in video). Come early to snag a seat where you think you can see okay.

I've enjoyed Rose City Futsal, West.
Their registration process is quick and well thought out. The inside temperature is perfect for both spectators and participants. Court time is adhered to and there are quick turn around times to keep all games and practices running on time. The upstairs, for spectators, has a bar for drinks and snacks, as well as games.
The only downside I've experienced as a participant is the lack of an effective changing room for those people coming from work.

As a player who played almost 3 seasons, here is my main comment: NEVER EVER EVER EVER register to community team. There are several reasons for that.

1) Firstly, before season starts, organizators promise you to play weekdays. But then, they stuck you to one or two specific days across the season. We played mostly on fridays, and a few times on mondays. We never played on any other days.
2) The second reason is, just to earn more money, organizators will randomly add people to your team after the start of the season. They will never ask you if you want a player or not. And sometimes, those players are way below the standard of the league, barely able to hit the ball or run properly. They ruin your game.
3) Some referees are good, but some of them are really bad. They dont even watch your game, and they behave in a rude manner. They behave or look at you as if you are a bug.

Besides this, facilities are standard, nothing negative about it.

So, if you are going to participate to a league, community team is waste of money. My experience is based on this and thats why i give one star.

If you can build up a closed team with your friends, that may be better.

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had! I went to buy food at the Clive’s public house inside and I bought food like I always do and go two plates of mozzarella sticks(12) and when I came back to get my food, I was only given one serving of it(6) and when I asked him where are the other pieces he said “you get what you get” I was very upset because I paid more than I had to, and he charged me for food I didn’t even receive, I asked kindly for a refund for only one plate and he just instead just said “ I will take back the mozzarella sticks and refund you $14” which was unnecessary because he could have just refunded me $7. I am very disappointed and will definitely contact the supervisor about this.

They should change the name to “Rose City Volleyball” our first practices for our 3 & 5 year old were amazing and on the actual futsal courts. Now the facility is rented all weekend for volleyball with our practices relegated to the weight room /yoga studio they claim is a practice court (it’s not btw) Subpar experience overall at an amazing facility that I’m sure a lot of people enjoy when it’s not a screaming volleyball facility.

As my husband, daughter in law and a few friends were sitting there eating good food and some commenting on good beer; watching my son play a game, I actually brought up how impressed I was with the facility. We started discussing this building and the Portland Rose City one. Because our other son plays at that facility, we come to both. We all agreed that both places are run well and offer a fun environment. Of course, it doesn't hurt that I am thrilled both our boys thoroughly love the game of soccer and are still great at putting ball's in the back of the net! 😊

Some friends and I formed a team to play Futsal to try and get back in shape and do some exercise. We've had a great time here playing in leagues and against other teams. Bit of a learning curve to determine our division, but since we aren't as active as we used to be and gather for a game and a drink, this has been an ideal spot for us all to come together and enjoy kicking a ball around. Highly recommend!

Place was clean, easy check-in and out. Friendly staff, and the facility has higher cielings than their East side facility. The coed league that I am associated with was moved here due to the backward trend in risk levles in Portland, that to me shows that Rose City Futsal is devotted to keeping us active, playing, all while adapting to the state wide mandates. Our girls love playing futsal here. The facility is nice, clean and staff is very friendly. Our daughter had her last birthday here and they did a fantastic job. My only recommendation would be more affordable camps and drop in hours for kids.

Been a regular for open play for some time now. I’ve dealt with being rejected due to lack of space before which I can understand as I was running late. Tonight though I was the only one out of a group of 5 who wasn’t allowed to play due to lack of space despite being 45 minutes early, waiting in line for 15 minutes, and having people behind me in line allowed in. I was told by the employee that he thought he had already rung me up and was sorry but there was nothing he could do. I was expecting to be offered a voucher or some sort of compensation for the employee’s mistake but was offered nothing expect sorry about that’s. The way this was handled was unacceptable and I will not be coming back after being disrespected like this and will be advising my friends to go elsewhere for futsal.

Were on our 4th season, it'll be our last. League schedule is very unorganized and it changes at least once a week. The worst part are the refs, most(not all) seem to be one sided, if you're Mexican or Hispanic don't play here. I think the limit for Hispanics is one per team.

I play in an adult league and my kid takes classes here. Both are very well run and a lot of fun. The facility is kept in great shape. The restaurant has pretty good food and 5 or 6 taps, but sometimes has odd hours.

If you're looking for a great place to play Futsal, get some exercise, and keep your skills up during the winter months you can't go wrong here.
