My 7 year old kids love it here for The Camps and parent’s night out. We feel very safe with their care and the owner has great communication. The prices are extremely reasonable also. We held my daughter's 5th birthday party at the Salem Gymnastics center. The staff were fantastic and it was a fantastic time! We'd highly recommend this spot for kid birthday parties! Book far in advance, they fill up quickly.

We tried this gymnastics location out and were told there were spots for our children however after the first day they tried to put my older child in the incorrect class bc there weren't any spots for her in the correct one. It wasn't clear how the sessions were being charged, it seemed in their system that you would have to choose all sessions per session, but I was charged for the incorrect class on auto. They said they would not refund me for this problem. Sounds to be like all they care about is money and do not value the kids and their wellbeing.

This is a review of the summer camp my son attended. He really enjoyed it and asked to go to another week but, as parents, we couldn't continue sending him.

When we arrived the first day he cried at drop off. The person who checked us in was kind and got his coach. The coach was unsympathetic and just stood there waiting for my husband to get him calm. I called and texted to see if he was okay and felt it took quite a long time to hear back. Thankfully he had calmed and they sent a pic so I was at ease. When I arrived to pick him up it was chaos. I found him on my own and brought him home with no one noticing.

The next two days at pick up a young child, probably between 8 & 10 released him to us. There is no way a child that age should be responsible for making sure kids are going with a safe adult. I was so tempted to give 3 stars because he did have such a good time but there are some genuine safety concerns with pick up.

My daughter has been going to gymnastics here for many years. We love all the instructors and coaches. The staff works really hard to make sure our questions are answered and any issues are taken care of quickly. We recently became a part of a gymnastics team and they work really hard for the gymnasts. I have no complaints.

Absolutely hands down the best gymnastic coaches around!! My daughter has been doing gymnastics here at SGC for 6 years. She started out with classes, then went to Bronze team and now is on the Silver team. She loves it here because she said, "It's my gymnastics family!" They do have bottles of water for sale, if you do run out of water, BTW. Some nights are really busy but that just means many happy kiddos in their many different classes or teams! If you are looking for a place that passes no judgement on any child or adult, friendly staff, awesome coaches, and all around support for your kiddo(s) then SGC is the place you want to be.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. We did a tester class for Ballet and I loved everything about it. My children decided to do gymnastics instead after doing tester classes for those as well and I love everything about those classes too! Coaches are amazing and really kind, patient and FUN. I watched my 5 year old who has a fear of heights confidence boost right before my eyes. Izzy and Ashley deserve praise for that! But all the coaches are nice and funny. Great gym all the way around. 10 stars if I could. We ended up signing up for Mighty and Mini cubs and I have a feeling we will stay here for years to come!

My kids had fun overall, but as a parent I was not impressed. We arrived for their first classes to disorganized chaos. No idea where to go, facility was packed, and couldn’t find assistance. Watched a staff member push a child forward to get her to move. Also, another staff member was loudly chatting about how she had just been diagnosed with strep throat…

They don’t have a drinking fountain and when I picked up my son his face was flushed and he was begging for water. I had packed him some but he had needed more. At the Parents Night Out event they only let them play on the equipment for a short time before requiring all the kids to sit in a room and watch an entire full length movie, whether they are interested or not. The place is fairly run down and actually smells really strongly of feet and sweat.

The plus is that they even offer a date night at all, and it is affordable.

My daughter started gymnastics here when she was 18 months, we did parent tot together and we had so much fun; I loved seeing her grow and learn so much. My daughter is now 4 years old, she attends the Kitten Corner Preforming Arts Preschool here 5 days a week, she takes an extra gymnastics class, and she joined their Cheerleading Team; the Dimond Catz. After seeing how much my daughter loves it at the gym and after spending so much time there with all of the staff I felt like part of the family; I wanted to really be apart of the gym so I started teaching Preschool here in January and it has been so much fun, we do arts and crafts, dancing, gymnastics, school work and play. I think I have learned just as much as my kids. I would highly recommend Salem Gymnastics Center for anyone looking to expand their child's life, help them learn new things, exercise while having fun and making life long friends.

My daughter was bullied so badly at AE that we pulled her out of classes at AE and did a tour and evaluation at Salem Gymnastics. Two weeks later we're informed that the owner of Salem Gymnastics will not allow families to have students at more than one gym. So my other children would have to quit their classes at AE and join Salem Gymnastics.
I don't think this is an actual policy, if it is, we should have been told up front. Now my daughter, a 5 year gymnast doesn't have a gym.
I can't even fathom someone thinking they can tell me where my children can or cannot take classes if they go to her gym. It boggles the mind. Other than this bizarre policy, it seemed like an ok gym. They were responsive to texts and scheduled a time to do a decent evaluation.

Really fun place. Very friendly and helpful staff. Tons of fun obstacles and activities for kids of all ages. Only 3 stars due to lack of water. I understand that the drinking fountains are off due to COVID, but not offering water for sale definitely sucks. We bring our own but sometimes we run out and we are not the only ones. But that is really the only thing holding this place back.

This is our second studio in Salem that we have tried and we have nothing but great things to say! Our 5 year old daughter is striving in Girls Rec, receives one-on-one time and great feedback from the coaches and other students. Our family has been with SGC for about 3 Years now... my 3 children 13, 10 and 7 Years old enjoy the lively, energetic atmosphere, especially when they can’t get outside with our Oregon weather! My middle daughter can be very particular and sensitive when it comes to trying new things and putting herself out there. The staff and coaches have gone above and beyond to help her find just the right class where she can shine🌟 and we are very greatful!

My youngest son can’t wait to get to gymnastics class 3 days a week. I’m pretty sure he thinks his coach walks on water 😉. The older boys in his class are so kind to him and they all encourage eachother to try their best and have a great time doing so!!!

I have been with Salem Gymnastics Center for the past 13 years. 3 of my children have started their gymnastics training at SGC from the time they were 5 and progressed through rec groups and team levels. My littlest one who is almost 4 has truly come out of her shell and participates a few days a week in the kinder-gym program. The equipment is taken care of, staff is friendly, coaches are knowledgeable and go through training sessions to continue their growth as coaches.

The gym is small, dank, and dingy. The coaches have zero tolerance for special needs kids. My DD has special needs and they didn't even give her a chance. They kicked her out after knowing her for just one week. They are not professional, they are not kind, they are not understanding. Very rude. This gym is not one I would ever reccomend to anyone.
