Their swim instructor Nicole made my goal of learning how to comfortably tread water before moving out of Oregon a reality. Shr was a commensurate pro! Thanks!

I went in to looking for a family membership. The facilities are very clean. Unfortunately their prices were ridiculous. They want $800 up front for a 3 month summer family pass or $105 per month for a full facility family pass but excludes the tennis court. The $105 wouldnβt be bad except for itβs a 12 month commitment and we would only be able to use the pool for 3 months out of the year. The pool is closed for swim lessons and swim team from Labor Day to Memorial Day. Why would we pay the $105 even during the months that we canβt use the pool?

2 hours in the cold, but worth every minute! Great staff...friendly too. I look forward to visiting again soon.

This is an honest review of their kids swimming lessons. I was quite dissatisfied with how the lessons for my child went. First off there was ZERO communication throughout the lessons with parents on how your child was doing or any communication at all whatsoever. I was expecting there to be set skills a child would have to achieve to advance. Apparently they do not operate this way. I left wondering does my child advance, is my child ready for next level? I was just left to question. This was unlike any of my previous swim lessons at other facilities that I had my older children participate in. But I was most upset by them combining very small kids with slightly older kids. The small toddlers should be in a group alone. They take up the entire lesson not wanting to be there, crying and complaining it ruins it for the other kids. On my childβs last day a new very small child was allowed at the lesson. The other kids were progressing nicely but then the instructor on the very last day spent 90% of lesson helping this child try to learn as they cried and obviously didnβt want to be there. This was very unfair to the other kids. I was very disappointed. A new arrival should never be allowed half way through or especially on the last day. We will continue our lessons elsewhere, somewhere that is more organized.

Honest review here. If youβre a high level pickleball player, specifically female do not waste your money. They had advanced drop ins once a week but have now switched it to intermediate and advanced. And the og advanced night switched to Mondays invite only advanced GUYS night. Theres not enough high level females to do the same. There is a solid group of intermediates. The head pickleball guy is very condescending.
3 courts with temporary cover, ceiling leaks heavily in winter time. Courts are dirty due to the βbuildingβ being temporary.

I paid for an hour private lesson for my two daughters ages 5 and 15 with Nicole. My 5 year old was trembling she was so scared to get into the pool but Nicole was so patient and calm that she actually got my terrified kid in the pool. I told Nicole that I was willing to force her in and she politely said, βwe are not there yet, I donβt want to make her more scaredβ. She clearly knew what she was doing. Both my kids loved her and said they missed her once we left and are excited to go back next weekend. The facility is very clean too.

We have spent Summers here for years. We've made countless memories and our kids have all learned to swim here. Nothing beats laying poolside reading a good book and then jumping in to enjoy the water on a hot summer afternoon. If I had one suggestion it would be to lower the price of a guest pass. $10 per person feels pretty steep. But we will be back
Next summer.

Although I am not a member of the Tennis and Swim Club they have always been very generous with their tennis balls keeping large bags of used tennis balls for us so that we can share them at the dog park

My only experience with Salem Tennis and Swim is with their Summer pool memberships. We've taken advantage of this membership for the past 3 Summers and have enjoyed our experience. It's a bit pricey, but there aren't really any public options in the area, and it's not terribly expensive compared to other pools in the area.
The facilities are clean and well maintained, and there's a good rotation of life guards.

Clean and well managed facility. Not only tennis and swim it has pickle ball courts and a gym. It's with it for families to get a membership. You also request per visit for limited use. I would highly recommend this place to all my friends and neighbors.

Just visited, and was informed that one cannot enter without a membership. Ok, no problem. There should be a simple non membership fee rather than the requirement of being someone's guest. In addition, $10 a person (including an infant) is pretty steep for the area. The pool and facilities seem nice, but certainly not worth the full membership fees. Would probably not return unless membership fees dropped.

Nice to play some tennis here! The courts are very well-maintained and much of the interior has been renovated in the last few years. Entry/Tennis requires a membership of a friend with one.
