I just started weight lifting this year and feel so lucky to have found this gem of a gym!! Everything about it is great--the facility, the equipment, all the trainers and staff are all beyond great! I recently participated in Emily's HIIT class and feel she's an outstanding coach. She was very clear in explaining everything we were going to do, followed us closely throughout the session, was right there when we needed adjustments and/or alternatives--she was so quickly responsive to our needs. She was *the* best cheerleader and always, always engaged with us, just very "present" with us. Excellent class coach. All the trainers are top notch and clearly truly invested in seeing their clients succeed in meeting their fitness goals. Judy does an amazing job of making sure everything runs smoothly, always has a welcoming smile and you can count on her follow-up! Thanks for a great gym!

I’ve belonged to this gym for about 7 years. I have loved this gym for its cozy, small town, and friendly atmosphere. I’m sad to say I’m not a fan of the remodel. It’s inconvenient and not user friendly. The gym is now split into two levels and you have badge into a hallway that’s takes you to a slow elevator in order to go upstairs. What I’m finding is you have to keep going up and down the elevator to complete an effective workout since equipment is scattered between floors now.
I’d be cool with this if there wasn’t badging and waiting involved and you could simply run up the stairs real quick when you need to access 2nd floor equipment.
It really does look nicer now (but honestly it looked nice before too). Upstairs reminds me more of a body builder gym.
For me, this particular remodel is not only inconvenient but also removed the easygoing, friendly, small town feel. I’ll give it a couple more tries at a different location to see if I can make it work but if not I think I may end up canceling my membership which feels disappointing because I’ve really enjoyed this gym pre remodel for a very long time.

To me getting new equipment was a waste of money. Some of the new equipment feels cheap and injury friendly. In my opinion spending all the money they did would have been better used installing stairs between the 2 floors, making it feel like a gym. Now they have cheap equipment spread out in a way that makes no sense between two floors where you have to keep using a very slow elevator to complete your workout. The staff is nice.. so.. there’s that. The eqipment and layout and user friendliness have gone very downhill. Feels like it’s morphing into yet another bro gym here in town.

The day pass you pay 20 bucks for and ending at 4 o clock but they give you a key card is ridiculous. The lay out isn’t great. Not a great gym. There’s a new guy though whose name I forgot and he was super chill!! Probably the best part of the experience was that guy!

So excited to become a member of Snap Fitness in Bend Oregon. What a beautiful facility on Northeast 4th Street. Equipment is top notch And new. Carly signed me up and she was amazing….also giving me An awesome tour. I bought 10 training sessions and can’t wait to get started. I am 74 and just using the treadmill for 20 minutes brought a big smile to my face. I toured Athletic Club of Bend the day before and sad to say it was a huge disappointment. Thank you Snap For giving me a better choice!

This is not your typical strip mall drab facility. It’s a two story modern facility with plenty of equipment. Check in for a single day use was easy thanks to Judy. My friend and I dropped in for a workout while on vacation and this gym had everything we needed for my leg day and her upper body day. The equipment was clean, updated and organized. This gym is super clean with awesome Cybex machines (in my opinion, these are well balanced, easy machines to work with) and the space is filled with tons of natural light.
