Love this gym and have been coming for 5 years. They have added a lot of great equipment including squat racks and bench presses. My one complaint after the most recent upgrade was the lack of back/lat machines. Only one pull down/low row machine now that was already a bottle neck with 2 machines while the Reed Market snap has at least 5 dedicated back machines. I would have replaced the low back/bent machine that nobody uses. Replace the attached machine with a real pull machine

Tried this gym a few times.
Great experience.
The lady in the front was very welcoming from start to finish.
This gym is a little pricier than my usual 24 hour fitness. But it’s still worth it if you like a quiet clean gym with plenty of parking (close to entrance) any time you come. Showers and locker rooms are very clean which to me is very important. I would have loved if they have the sauna open more hours of the day. Unfortunately they do charge 20 extra for that service and its only available during staffed hours. But overall I loved this gym.

> Seems like very good service and good people (first time today)
> Don't like how the weights and machines are arrayed- on only one side (for example) can you superset light weights. On the other there are no in -between weights (12.5, 17.5, 22.5, etc.). I would have felt like an ass bringing three sets of weights from one side to the other just for my sets.
> My first infrared sauna- did not like it. The room is super cool with colored lights and it was clean. But these don't get hot enough- you'll sweat plenty. I just like the actual temp to be hot myself.

Snap is a fun gym with friendly staff, great equipment and a mellow vibe - not a meat market situation at all. People of all ages and fitness levels work out there, and PTs have offices on-site so it has a therapeutic feel to it. I've been training with Melissa Gleason for over a year and she's fabulous. She pushes you for sure, but in a safe way, always taking into account any issue you might be experiencing, modifying exercises accordingly. She's super fun, positive, effective, reliable, creative and is a highly ethical person. She keeps it interesting too - even after training with her weekly for this long I don't think we've ever repeated the same exercise. Would highly recommend her if you are looking for a fabulous trainer!!

Snap was overpriced for what you get. They refused to listen to my repeated requests for gym improvements and helpful equipment to get. The final straw was putting my membership on hold for 3 months and they quietly charged me for a month after the hold expired and then refused to reverse the charge. I used to go here a while back. The service was so/so. Decided to try again and it hasn't changed much.

The receptionist was a tad off putting on the phone. A little time to ask a question would be nice.

Other than that, limited free weights, the space is small and the equipment is packed. But they do have just about anything you need to get a workout in, just go on an off time.

Update - there is a women here that is just great to deal with. She has red hair. If you get a chance I would only work with her.

I'm an adaptive athlete who lives out of a modified van. I come to Snap because of its affordability, accessibility, and I can workout+shower in one place during the winter. Since coming here, I've noticed that they don't clean the accessible shower often. It's a huge bummer, since I need it and cannot use the regular showers to get clean.

love snap but it’s so DIRTY. i don’t think they ever clean it. i went on a saturday afternoon and there was handprints all over the mirror i went again wednesday afternoon and the same handprints were on there. additionally, when wiping down equipment such as the yoga mats i wiped it down 10+ times and each time more dirt and grime visibly came off on the sanitizing wipes they provide. i feel the need to use the sanitize wipes when touching anything in there. when using the smiths machine the weights have dirt encrusted in the weights and the wipe is brown after picking the weight up. very concerning especially during a pandemic. other than that a good gym.

Love this Snap Fitness! They have televisions ON THE TREADMILLS! Not over the treadmill, ON THEM!
You can even get on the internet and binge on youtube videos.
Cable seems extended because I was able to watch some other things that aren't on my basic cable package at home.
Also, treadmills are in great shape. A really low-impact run relative to other treadmills I've been on. There's a spacious area for stretching/floor stuff. Changing rooms are also spacious.
