The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always available and willing to assist. This results in an atmosphere that is energetic yet welcoming, creating an environment where both beginners and those experienced feel comfortable and motivated.

This is truly a top-tier facility in every respect that includes equipment quality, cleanliness, management, and community. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a well-run, clean, enjoyable place to train and stay healthy.

I had my personal belongings stolen at this gym and they did nothing despite having 24/7 cameras. They’re either incompetent at using them or simply do not care. Members stealing other member’s belongings seems to be acceptable.

Their equipment selection is also poorly thought out. They removed a proper pendulum squat and replaced it with an inferior machine that doesn’t offer the same biomechanics (due to a built-in counterweight). I was told this was due to “knee complaints,” which shows a fundamental misunderstanding of why a pendulum squat is valued and how it works (you can add a counter-weight to a pendulum squat). They also advertised additional equipment as “coming soon” that never actually arrived.

Between the lack of accountability around theft and a clear lack of knowledge about quality strength equipment, this gym feels like it’s run without an understanding of what serious lifters need—or basic member safety. If those two things were addressed the gym could be better, but as it stands I can’t recommend it.

There is only one weight belt for dips and pull-ups and it is constantly missing. Every other gym I have been to has at least 4 of these. That and the random “improvement fee” they charged at the beginning of 2025 really has me reconsidering the value I’m getting from this gym. Also no longer on Class Pass.

Love this gym! The community vibe here is amazing, everyone’s super welcoming, and the staff is always friendly and easy to talk to. It’s the kind of place where you actually look forward to showing up. They’re consistently bringing in new equipment and adding little upgrades, which keeps things exciting. Love getting to use the massage chairs upstairs as well, it makes a huge difference in recovery.

I’m especially pumped to try out the new red light therapy room they just added — it’s awesome to see a gym actually investing back into their members like this. You can really tell they care about making it the best experience possible. Honestly, couldn’t recommend it more.

Snap fitness on Reed Market. With all the things Bend has to offer this has been probably my favorite place in Bend. This has been my gym for the past few years and I only left cause I relocated to a different city. Amazing staff, great community, great vibes, great equipment that are updated regularly, and 2 halls to choose from which is also great. I’m two days into my gym membership I felt more welcomed and supported here in two day, than I did for 2 years at Planet Fitness.

After my Cardio today, the Manager gave me a fist bump and Introduced herself to me. If you’re trying to decide on what gym to go to. Choose this one. It’s awesome.

I’ve been going to Snap Reed Market off and on for a few years now and I’m always happy with the environment, the cleanliness, and the ample space to spread out and workout without feeling pressure. I like to sneak upstairs for a quiet session with kettle bells and free weights. Good location and high quality equipment.

I just rejoined this snap, as I had worked out here in the past with a trainer. The facility is always clean. The staff and trainers have always been very friendly and helpful. I love that it’s not super crowded and I have hardly ever had to wait for a machine or equipment that I needed.

5 stars all the way from my perspective. Great gym, loaded with everything you could possibly ever need for whatever training you like to do. Clean, spacious two level LARGE Snap. I say that because the size of most Snap gyms I've been in as I've traveled around the country are less than half the size of Reed market. The atmosphere is upbeat and energetic and the Mgr (Wendy) is knowledgeable and respectful to everyone. It really feels like family to me. Very convenient location and easy to get in and out.

Came to Bend for work and needed a place to de-stress. Snap Fitness hooked me up with very little hassle, and I was able to prepay for the full duration of my trip.

Pros. Clean gym, friendly staff, wide variety of free weights and cable machines, busy but not too crazy.

Cons. Secured door during staff hours (wasn't given a key card and had to ring the bell every time I came in), no vending machines, parking can get rough.

I would say this gym is on par with other small franchises across the country. Given the price of commercial space in Bend, it is a good size. The only criticism I would have isn't about the gym but about the majority of young 20 somethings sharing the facility with other people. It's like gym Etiquette is almost non-existent. I wish there was a 20-minute course mandatory before you are allowed to work out. Just a few examples, the benches are not for your note pad and keys while you. The gym owners supply an area for such things. Stop doing this. Use the bench for assisting your workout. I have seen people set their items on a bench and work out 10 feet from it. Someone needs that bench for their routine that moment. Also, walking with 4 people in a group like you're flushing a deer from a corn field in the midwest, are you aware of what you're doing. It makes it almost impossible for anyone else to pass walking in the opposite direction. One more that really gets my blood boiling. Standing 6 inches from the weight dumbbells fixated on yourself while doing your sets. Know one can re-rack or get to the weights they need for their sets. I could go on, but I dont want to get too negative. It's the people, not the gym. No self-awareness.

The aesthetic is really nice and welcoming. The different types and amount of equipment is really nice. Everything is well kept and modern.

I normally go to the 4th st location and this one has way more options.

Biggest issue is there no shower which limits my ability to go since I can't clean up after a workout. Guess I will have to stick with the 4th at location.

If I could leave a lower rating I would. I walked In to grab a month pass while my other gym was temporarily closed. I Filled out the information but was never even given a card to get into the place. After about a week I found that they charged me for 3 months or some sort of reoccurring payment instead of 1 month adding up to $75. Not only that but the equipment is no where near the amount a commercial gym should have. It is very limited. There is no locker room or lockers to keep your belongings safe In. Overall the place is pretty bad. If you want to get a quick exercise with no other options It Is better than nothing but I would highly recommend looking at other options.

I was looking around town for my options for a new gym. I stopped in looking to see the equipment and to discuss yearly pricing, due to the location being convenient for me. When I got to the entrance, it was locked. Clearly I could see the frustration of the staff member that they had to stop chatting and see what I wanted. I introduced myself. Immediately I was demanded, multiple times, to sit down at the table at the entrance. I was then told to fill out a form with all my personal information before I could LOOK at the place, let alone get a idea of the yearly dues. I politely refused. After asking me to fill out the paperwork 3 times, the staff member became exceedingly frustrated. The staff member then grabbed the form and started asking me questions, filling out the form with my information, without consent. I asked the employee to stop and informed them I was no longer interested becoming a member at the gym because of their actions. Terrible customer service. All other gyms I visited earlier in the day had been more than welcoming.

I love the gym. I feel the memberships are a bit pricey but the quality justifies the price generally. This location has separate rooms that have TVs with preset programs for yoga, pilates etc, and is secluded from the rest of the gym for privacy. The wifi works well. Many cardio machines have their own TV screens that work well. I have not had a poor experience there and I've been a member for over a year. No egomaniacs there. Not overcrowded. Just good, down to earth people. I thought about joining a gym that has a jacuzzi or massage tables/chairs but fear I would regret leaving this excellent gym.

Best Snap in town hands down. As someone who has been a Snap member in Bend for 7+ years this is easily the best global gym in town. They have cross training equipment, a giant studio and all the standard machines and cardio equipment you would expect. If you put all the other Snap’s in town together they still would only be half as good as this location. No, this is not an exaggeration.

I've been a member of Snap Fitness since they opened and have been really impressed with how clean they keep the gym. The staff are all very nice. I have trained with Greg for a long time and he has always been very kind and respectful. I have never been so comfortable with a trainer before Greg. POOR! I signed up at the Brookswood gym (very nice staff and great gym) and started using the Reed Market gym because it was closer to my house. My BF and I whom both have a membership, are VERY unsatisfied to the point that we ended up canceling our membership within less than 1 month of joining. Eric who is the manager of the reed market gym, was notified that a TRAINER by the name of GREG has approached my BF and I under 2 occassions now..HARASSING us, DOMINATING, PROFILING, WHATEVER YOU MAY CALL IT. 1st Occassion (wont go into too much detail) he approached me on his off day (not even on the clock) and decided to take it upon himself to assume that I was not a member and was coming in "Illegally" !!!??? Approached me in front of other members and made a SCENE!!!! Saying he was "going to call 911"?? Not only that but this little girlfriend decided she would start recording me, without my consent! i contacted Eric, and he seemed to be apologetic and tried to help me out.
NOT 2 weeks later, again! GREG decided to once again, single my BF out and told him he needed to move, because he was going to do a training session in that area.. Excuse me? Why is he the ONLY person that has approached us regarding something like this? Why was there another trainer there the other day, in the same area, and he didn't say a word to us, nor was being rude, dominating, authoritative. POINT IS..I feel not welcome at this facility especially since this has happenend single handedly to us in less than 2 weeks.Corporate letter on the way. This is ridiculous.

This gym came to town just in time. I was feeling a bit beat down at my other gym, it was dirty, low energy. This gym is brand new, 11,000sq feet, and the folks who run it a far more personable and upbeat (and they're actually there). Five stars for a great start!
