Today I went and worked out around 430 to 5ish and the guy that was working was extremely condescending. My card it I guess didnt scan right which I don't understand since I scanned in and opened the door. Then I worked out for over 10 to 15 mins then he approached me and asked if I had a membership and it made me feel like " I don't belong here". I honestly have managed in customer service for years and his approach is very out of line and honestly made me feel like I didn't even want to be there to finish the workout. I really hope he gets better training on dealing with members and if an issue arises. I will still workout here but Very sad about this.

$30 a month for 2 working treadmills is crazy. Treadmills are pretty outdated no place to even put your drink. Also only 2 singular bathrooms sucks. I tried to get a 7 day trial period to see if I could warm up to it but the manager acted like I wasnt serious about working out.

Andreu Williams has been my personal trainer/couch for the last five months. I find him to be highly professional, an excellent listener, he is patient, supportive, up beat, and easy to talk to.

We have a collaborative relationship. For every new exercise introduced Andreu will demonstrate the correct movement and body posture. He will also, correct my stance and then again demonstrate the correct movement required.

We have tailored my weekly workout to fit my abilities, to include room for improvement and growth. Andreu will change out my routine to better fit my improved capabilities and prevent boredom.

Posted awhile back about things that need repair and the response I got from the owner GM was weird-> instead of slamming the customer, the GM should have said “Thanks for letting us know how we can improve our services.”

There’s no one at the desk to talk to about things like this.

Also, the men’s bathroom has been broken for awhile and hasn’t been repaired. Stinks like heck over there.

As a past member of snap fitness in canby I am very pleased to see that there have been some changes. Garrick (General Manager) has done an amazing job as far as cleaning things up, getting some new equipment in and fixing equipment that had been broken, and making it a very comfortable atmosphere. He has also helped me navigate my membership so that I have a automatic withdrawal that correlates with my payday.

Garrick has also taken the time to work with me and show me the correct way to do certain exercises and how to use the kettlebells correctly. He's taking the time to talk to me about nutrition and weight loss which has been a great help. I would advise anyone that has any questions about exercise and where to go to exercise to come to canby snap fitness and speak with Garrick.

I moved on to a personal trainer after physical therapy for my hip replacement. Garrick, the General Club Manager and my personal trainer, is helping me to move better than before surgery and I have great expectations for further advancement. I’m seeing results quicker than expected and especially in other areas that I didn’t think I need improvement in.

The staff help me with the machines and free weights. They are overall very helpful.

It’s pretty clean and enough space to workout since less people go during the times I come in (10am-3pm).

The Canby Snap Fitness location has been my home gym since high school. Very inviting environment. From the staff to other gym members you will often see smiles and words of encouragement. The location has changed management but not once have I noticed a difference in the gym atmosphere. You will find a variety of useful equipment, supplements and cold drinks. I would recommend this location to anyone who is motivated to get in the gym and join an atmosphere that is there to support your health goals.

I would give Zero stars if I could. I was quoted a price and then when I called back no later than a week they raised their prices and said I was told wrong. Your manager told me a price and it should be honored period! I am a professional myself and would never do that to my customers. Lost my respect and business.

To your response we have talked! You don’t care about customer service, you said take the new price or go somewhere else with attitude and continued arguing with me. I sure will take my money elsewhere where they know what they are doing and honor what they say! The money is not even the problem it’s how it was handled. I would have had no issue if the situation was handled professionally with the right attitude. Your membership price you quoted me the second time of 40 is outrageous for a gym with no shower. AVOID!!!! I prepaid my membership but they kept charging me anyway (so I was charged twice). They charged me even though I cancelled my membership. When I asked them for refund of the extra money they charged me they suddenly stopped responding to my emails. I'm not living in Canby so I had to block my card because they were charging and charging and not responding! AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU EVER WANT TO CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP!!!!! It's also a really small place with tons of people. There is no shower.

Local management may be okay but corporate actions don't align with community centered mantras. They closed corvallis location with <24 hrs notice to patrons. They were occasionally out of hand sanitizer and cleaning wipes as well. Also struggled to enforce mask mandates. Planet fitness is much better bargain for price.

Just got to say the owner of Canby Snap Fitness knows his stuff. I've been at alot of gyms over the years and I love this gym the most! He knows his stuff and is always doing everything he can to make his members happy. Tried calling many times to be set up for a two person membership after finding out you are required to give your information to see pricing, and they only show you how much it is for one person. Their staffing hours are listed for three hours a day so it was difficult to contact conveniently, and even when I attempted to contact within that three hour window I received no reply. Email didn’t work. Definitely will stop trying with this business.

Place is relatively small and has less amenities than other Snap Fitness locations I’ve used. After work traffic was plenty manageable without much wait for different areas or machines. The CrossFit section doesn’t get much use, but takes up a good chunk of space.
