Way too expensive for a very cheap golf course. It should not cost $46 to play 9 holes with a cart at this course. Carts barely work, horrible greens and in general, just a very cheap course that over charges for what it is. Spend 3 more dollars and go play dutcher creek 18 holes with brand new carts.

At driving range near closing time and literally one ball to hit left when a lady with a leaf blower starts yelling "let's go!, let's go!" Then proceeded to blow at me while I was swinging at that last ball and blew dirt and debris onto me and my phone which was lying on the ground by my bag and clubs. I will not be going back here ever again. Sad after having golfed here for 30 years. Bad business especially with more options becoming available in the area. Goodbye Stewart Park Golf Course!

Visiting for the first time here from Illinois. Went to hit a bucket of balls at the driving range and to practice some putting on the green.
This isn't a big place, and you can tell it's old and could use a little paint on the buildings, but what it lacks in looks, it makes up for in personality.
Staff is friendly and answered all my questions, the price was great for a bucket of balls, cheaper than in bigger cities with fancy golf courses.
I didn't check into the cost of renting a golf cart or the price for a short course since I wasn't using them. I did notice that the driving range closes each day at 5:30 pm, which I found strange for summer months, but they must have a reason.
If I lived here I would keep using this place for it's friendly people and the view at the driving range. WOW, nothing like it anywhere else I've been.

I was gifted a set of 3 lessons for my birthday. It was difficult to contact the pro to schedule the first lesson, but when he finally communicated, the first lesson went off without a hitch. He appeared to be knowledgeable. For the second lesson he showed up late. I scheduled a third lesson three different times, but each time he failed to show up. He would not return phone calls or messages I left in person at the pro shop. I finally gave up and requested a refund for my final lesson. The money was left for me (all singles) in the proshop. The people at the course are nice, but the teaching pro is not very professional and I would not recommend trying to get lessons there.

The course needs to be taken care of. It’s hard to play on a course where you have to hunt for your ball and there is dandelions every in the fairway.

Great crew. Wonderful atmosphere. Nice long 9 hole corse. Play the back nine from blacks to finish up your 18. Got to stop and play if visiting or passing by. I live here! And still can't get enough.

First time playing here. Played 9 with my 74 year old father; $43 for two with a cart. Seemed pretty long, shortest hole was 154 par 3. Couple dog legs with elevated greens. Fairly challenging and fun. Dry course with no issues. Course in decent shape! Will play here again as long as it's dry.

We will never go back here came with some family rented cart for a disabled veteran. Had 2 holes left to play young worker came and took our cart away said they were closing for night had to take it. Worst service ever.

Garbage course. Tried to play a quick 9 holes, made it through 3 before I gave up after plugging another ball in the fairway. Fairways are indistinguishable from rough, greens are unkept and slooooooow. Tee boxes are uneven and uncut. Went in the pro shop asking for a rain check, got a smug kid that told me it’s agains policy. Completely rude about it as if it’s my fault the course is unplayable. Grew up playing this course and it’s gone severely downhill, and it wasn’t good before... will never be back.

Golf ball net is not in place on the existing poles. VA campus parking lot has had numerous damaged vehicles in the past. The car next to mine was hit today. I will seek damages if my vehicle gets damaged next.

Wish you would remember women like to golf too. Take care of the bathroom at the 6th tee. How can there be no toilet paper mid day on Friday? The same hanger is in the same stall in the club house women's bathroom for the last 3 weekends at least!
