I'm a new student, and the sign-up process is frustrating me to the point of not booking a class!

Beautiful space to practice in. Excellent vinyasa class with an instructor who lead us through seamlessly so all we had to do was focus on our breath.

Visiting Portland from out of town and I'm really glad that I found The Yoga Space. Attended great classes with both Allie and Emily. Beautiful studio and talented coaches!

Nice little place with pool, a steam sauna, dry room, and a pool to relax in. Was hoping more saunas though.

Michele Lowe is a talented asana, nidra and yoga philosophy teacher. I highly recommend any of her classes and , of course, any class taught at The Yoga Space. I don't reside in Portland, so I join classes online.

I joined The Yoga Space classes via Zoom during lockdown and I am still a virtual member 2 years later. I have never been to the studio as I live in the UK, but I am impressed with how welcoming and helpful the staff are. I attend in-person classes in the UK and have learnt so much from my online teachers at The Yoga Space.

I took the online YTT 200 hrs and Vajra yoga course where many of the classes were recorded at the Yoga Space, of course with Michele Lowe, but also with other Yoga Space teachers. The programs were excellent, varied and balanced between the technical and philosophical content. Michele is a treasure of yogic information, technique, positive energy and Ian LeMasters makes anatomy a pleasurable discovery and incredibly useful aid for practice and teaching. Allies sequencing class was also wonderful, so useful. My only disappointment is being so far from them that I can't go take classes in person!

I have practiced at Yoga Space for years. It is the best studio in the country in my opinion. The teachers are amazing -- steeped in knowledge and know-how. Also, they are just lovely, genuine people. The Yoga Space is a true community. And on top of all that the studio is beautiful. It's a converted church. Love, love, love Yoga Space.

I'm really glad I found this studio. The teachers are all welcoming and supportive, responding to the needs of the students in a way that doesn't break the structure or intent of the class. They have a great variety of class offerings, and the space itself is absolutely unique and peaceful.

The Yoga Space has become one of my favorite studios in Portland. The space is beautiful and peaceful. The teachers are very knowledgeable and welcoming. The classes can be challenging, which I like.
I learn and deepen my practice more each time. Also really enjoy their online morning flow classes during the week. Highly recommend The Yoga Space!

Absolutely amazing yoga studio - we had one class with Allie. It was a good restorative flow, with sound bath at the end. Very clean overall and the large room with the glass windows gives a one-of-a-kind experience with great accoustics. Iβd come here more often if Iβd live in the area.

I come here every time I visit Portland. Itβs a beautiful, calming space, and the yoga teachers never disappoint. Robi led an amazing class this morning - with several vinyasa flows I definitely felt relaxed and centered by the end of our class.

Beautiful location and I really loved the class. However, I was visiting from out of town so I needed to borrow a mat etc. I was clearly confused as to where to find the materials and had to ask another participant for help rather than the instructor coming to help. I also took longer than the others to file out, making sure to clean my mat well. It was just the instructor and I in the room. I said βGreat classβ to which she just smiled. It would have been nice if she had chatted a bit but thatβs just me. She was friendly just not very open. Other than that no complaints.

I have visited over 6 studios in Portland and I would rate them a 6 star if i had that choice. To give this rating they had to score 5 in all of the following:
1. Roadside parking
2. Friendliness
3. Timeliness
4. On line reservation
5. On line payment
6. Inexpensive tryouts
7. EXCELLENT instructors - all of them
8. Awesome schedule tree
9. Class variety
10. Cleanliness, spaciousness, architectural aesthetics, and restroom cleanliness
11. Free mats and props in case one forgets to bring it
12. Overall just a good place to be !!!

Fantastic teachers who know how to support your practice at any stage. I resumed my practice after a break of several years, and all the teachers have done an amazing job of encouraging me, guiding proper alignment, and helping me grow without pressuring me to go beyond my current abilities. It's been especially great to find Mysore style classes near my home. A warm, welcoming, and supportive studio.

No phone. The owner signs as "Owner" in review responses. More deadly exclusive club attitude. Why bother? No one ever enlightened because of $100 yoga pants.

I was normally a confident and outgoing person but a life event left me in a tough space and feeling a little down. I'm an engineer and not exactly "spiritual," but I heard yoga is great for improving wellness so I decided to step out of my comfort zone and give it a try. Michelle, Ian, and all the other amazing teachers were supportive and non-judgemental of my nervous energy. I left every class feeling relaxed and glad I went. I highly recommend this studio!

What a magical space! Highly recommend this beautiful studio in a converted chapel: from the soaring ceilings to the stain glass windows and even fresh flowers. Emily was awesome and I felt rejuvenated after her vinyasa class this week.

I took the Happy Hour class with MB and it was enlightening to say the least! The studio is like a stain glass temple. The room was lit by candles and the teach burnt incense during the session. It was the perfect environment for peace of mind and re-balance. Would definitely recommended.

I always love returning to the peaceful sanctuary vibe of this yoga studio. There are a couple of teachers there that you can't find anywhere else and so I keep coming back to treat myself to their presence and the sweet space of the studio that always restores my spirit. Namaste!
