This "was" a great gym. Sign on door stated they were relocating... Two weeks later all equipment is gone and no information on new location. The phone message has been the same for 6 months. Very disappointed in owners lack of perfessionalism..

After over two years, and 3 signed douments from this gym saying that my contract was canceled, I decided to contact the third party they use for billing to cancel my membership. Paramount Acceptance is that company btw, if you decide to join this gym please bookmark their page because they will have direct access to your bank account. I had my bank contest the charges multiple times but it was ineffective.

The gym itself is fine but this is the most incompetent and unprofessional business management I can imagine. They only communicate through Facebook and they failed to communicate back for 2 weeks. I literally had to create a Facebook account just to be ignored by these clowns.

The few machines they have are always broken, the communication especially through this quarantine has been zero. Unless you have a facebook account you cannot get a response. They claim to be staffed, they are not. ever. staffed. To pay your bill you talk to a company in Utah. Super sketch. Tired of paying for when the gym isn't open. Not going to show up and have their key card machine be broken. Again. They are definitely losing loyal members, I'm not the only one.

I moved to Grants pass since September and I chose Zoo because it was the closest gym to my house. At first I though it was a little small but I don’t mind it. The price is reasonable. The gym was much bigger than the one back in my town which was more expansive so I was relieved it was cheaper in Zoo. The staff is nice they say hi every time I walk in and love how it’s a 24 hour gym. Overall I like the gym but definitely could of been bigger.

I've been trying to contact the gym to cancel my membership since October and they haven't responded. Now they've somehow tapped into my bank account. This place is highly disorganized.

Since November, more than $250 has been taken out of my bank account from The Zoo in Grants Pass, Oregon. I cancelled my membership more than Two YEARS AGO!!! The owner Byron Pardo refuses to return calls.

This gym is AWESOME. I don't think I've ever been in a gym with this much natural lighting before, and I have to say, it really does make the biggest difference during my workout. I couldn't recommend this facility any more highly.

I have been a member for over 4 years. Always clean, machines are in good working order, well lit and safe. Other members are polite which to me is a part of the standard that The Zoo implements. I am a late night participant so I rarely interact with the staff, but on the rare occasions I have they have been respectful and were able to offer assistance with billing issue ect. Money well spent.

I love this gym. It’s affordable and very clean. The customer service is very good. The environment is also comfortable. It’s not too crowded like some of the other local gyms are. It also has 24/7 access and strong security. I feel safe going here any time of day. The people that go to this gym all seem to be very nice too. It’s nice to work out at a gym surrounded by good people, that has good vibes. I’ll be a member for life.

I have been a member at The Zoo for years now and in that expanse of time I have had my periods of not always attending.. (due to personal reasons) but no matter my attendance; I have ALWAYS recommended people go here. This is a gym for everyone. It's open 24/7, has plenty of equipment, and the atmosphere is amazing. I see people of all ages and levels of fitness at this gym, and everyone is friendly and easy to talk to. This is without a doubt not only the best gym in town, but also just one of the best businesses in town. I always tell people "I wish every place in Grants Pass was ran like The Zoo".

99% of the reason behind this is Byron. He is, without a doubt, THE best business owner I have ever met. He has worked with me and my financial ups and downs over the years, renewed memberships for me, always remembers my wife and I's names, and always shakes my hand when conducting business. If you look up "Customer Retention" in the dictionary, you will see a picture of Byron. Some gyms (and most businesses in general) feel so 'corporate' these days, it's rare to feel like anything more than a statistic; but I have always been treated like a human being at this gym. They don't just want you to be a member here, they want you to be happy here. If you are browsing Google Reviews and looking for the right gym to work out at, this is it.

The best gym in Grants PASS Oregon. The gym is 'clean' unlike the other gyms. The customer service is top notch. They will take care of you.
The equipment is well cared for and when something is out of service, it's quickly fixed.
Now the best part, when it is busy, everyone here understands gym etiquette.

My sister and I stopped in from out of town over the memorial day weekend. Our experience was beyond anything i could ever hope for. The manager was incredibly accommodating and the owner is one of the most endearing, and unique people I've ever met. My sister and are moving here this November and we cannot wait to come back and join the family. Thanks guys from the bottom of our hearts!

The Zoo is by far the cleanest gym I have ever been a member of. The staff is very friendly and always ready to answer any questions. I have never had to wait for a cardio or weight machine (I came from a big city gym where there were always lines for the treadmills and where you usually had to work in with someone on all the machines). It might be different during peak hours but it's so nice to get in, get a great workout, and then get going without having to skip anything. There are a few specific weight machines that would be nice if they were added, but there is always a different way to target that muscle. This is the only 24 hr gym in GP. However, you can't access the sauna after hours (5pm I believe) which sucks - I'd gladly pay the extra $4/mo if I could.

Reason for low ranking is they do not have proper cage for doing real squats. I've never seen a gym that doesn't have a power cage. Every serious lifter knows a smith machine does not cut it for real squats. Also, the place seems disorganized. Often times I've come in and find myself having to walk around looking for pins to put on my barbell, usually not finding any and just having to try to balance the bar so my weights don't slide off. Can we really not afford a dozen pins so this doesn't happen? Same goes for weight plates too; I have to go borrow 45's from other machines a lot (thankfully there's usually no one on those machines when I had to borrow).

The gym is clean and it is 24 hours, which is why I don't give this a 0. Spend a thousand bucks on one staple piece of equipment (power cage) and some pins/plates and I'd give this a 3/3.
