I joined Thrive a couple weeks ago and am so glad I found this space and community. I have taken the vinyasa, hatha and restorative yoga classes and each one of them were wonderful and unique in their own way. The instructors are all knowledgeable and have a very calming presence about them. I highly recommend Thrive Yoga & Wellness. Booked an appointment with Robyn at Ginger Pear Acupuncture & Massage, which I know will be right up my alley!

Practice with Victoria today was everything I wanted. Challenging but fun and always love the information I get about my body and from my body. Can’t usually make this am class but definitely try and arrange things so I can attend more of her classes.
Thank you 🙏🏻

Yes’s all around. This place is a blessing to our community, to myself and to my family.
So many offerings- sound baths, yoga, doctors, nature inspired hikes and foraging, women’s groups, educational classes…. Just do yourself a favor and check out their site.

Lisa’s meditation classes have helped me find small ways to be more present and pause to enjoy This beautiful life we live once.
Dr Stang has provided great guidance in helping me find a new balance in perimenopause.

I greatly enjoy the Hatha-Yin Fusion class at 9:00AM Weds with Karen. Her prompts and instructions are clear and concise. A quick glance at her pose helps me adjust my own. For me, it's definitely a "practice." LOL! Bonus is that she's trained regarding osteopenia and osteoporosis poses which may help reverse those maladies.

I’ve been attending Thrive Yoga for years and I love hip opener poses so when I heard about this Yin Yang Hip Opener class taught by Spencer and Victoria I was so excited! Both instructors were fantastic at teaching the techniques. The class included meditation, breath work, poses for strengthening, hatha yoga and deep hip opener exercises. It was a great class especially for someone who does a lot of sitting all day. It really strengthens the glutes, pelvic, and hamstring muscles and stretches the hips. I would definitely take this class again if it was offered. Excellent!

Thank you, Victoria and Spencer, for designing this class and offering it to the rest of us! The class was a nice blend of meditative breath work and physical poses aimed at energizing and opening the hips. I hope that you offer this class again in the future. I’ll be there! Thanks again to you both.

Thrive Yoga is a spacious venue with an inviting atmosphere, kind teachers, and quality props. The class offerings are varied, well timed, and most anyone can find a class time that works for them. I have only attended few vinyasa classes so far and I have liked them. If you are looking for yoga as an exercise practice and a way to calm the mind, this may be your place.

With that said, I am a trained Ashtanga practitioner, and a certified 200-hour trained yoga teacher, so I do have some strong ideas of what I am looking for in a yoga studio. I’ve been searching for a studio that weaves in community, spirituality and mindfulness into the practice, and that has been difficult to find anywhere. So far I haven’t found the spiritual connection at Thrive, but there’s room to learn and grow there.

As far as the asana practice goes, I appreciate hearing the Sanskrit names of poses and that is something that I have not heard at Thrive either. As a non-Indian yoga practitioner I was taught and I believe it is our cultural duty to share the traditional asana names and to honor where the practice comes from. It inspires me to practice yoga when I can practice it as the original people did, spiritually, mindfully, and with a conscious effort to call out and perform the poses as they were intended.

I do like the classes and teachers at Thrive, and I look forward to learning more from all the teachers there.

I really like the Yoga Foundations sessions. I've attended both Monday and Wednesday mornings and think that the instructors are excellent and very thorough in their explanations. Thrive is very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this for anybody new to yoga or who has been away from yoga for a while.

I joined a friend for a new experience. I had reiki done once before and was open to more. I also had heard sound bowls, but these gongs felt completely immersive. My body vibrated and hummed and I could feel the positive energy from the reiki. Totally enjoyed the healing feel of this experience.

Thrive is one of my happy places. It is a safe space. The instructors and other yogis are always kind and welcoming. Story: I trained martial arts for about 25 years and a couple months after I started yoga at Thrive I was having some pain in my knee and shoulder. I went to one of the instructors and told her, she looked shocked and said, “you’re experiencing pain?” She then said, you’re doing yoga wrong. Yoga shouldn’t injure you. Epiphany moment! I realized I was so used to suffering and pushing through pain, I figured it was normal for any mind, body discipline. Now I experience discomfort when I push myself but no pain, and no injury’s. The instructors from the owner Rachel on down are always saying listen to your body, ask and we’ll find an adaptations or alternatives to poses that you can’t do. Don’t hurt yourself! It means a lot to me at 57. They make it accessible and truly live the yoga credo of Yama- restraint, and ahimsa- non harming. Truly caring for the whole body and mind. I almost feel guilty because I’m not suffering. But I’m getting used to it. Like I said, Thrive is one of my happy places. Additionally, I’ve done many mind/body disciplines over the course of my life and yoga, just for ME, is THE most transformative practice I’ve ever done. It really resonates with my soul. And personal change comes like an oncoming flood. YMMV. 😊 hope to see you there on your mat. Check it out. And say hi! I hope you come to enjoy it as much as I do. Namaste! 🙏

I am pleased to have found this Yoga & Wellness facility. I've come to realize strengthening is key as we age and I prefer yoga for its calming aspect as well as its total body strengthening. Thrive already feels far more comfortable and clean than a gym. Friendly staff and clientele.

I was a bit apprehensive (it's been a decade since I practiced yoga), but the instructors all lead well and provide alternate position options throughout each class. Instructors and practitioners are kind, welcoming and encouraging.

I've completed my first two weeks at Thrive Yoga. While I feel awkward, I know that feeling will dissipate as I modify my aging body's ouch areas and strengthen muscles throughout my body. I'm feeling more flexible already and have noticed my arthritic neck is a bit less painful.

Every time I come to Thrive, I am challenged and inspired.

I started attending classes here about six months ago. At the time I was experiencing a lot of anxiety, fatigue, and back pain. Today I walked 4 miles to the studio, attended class, then walked back home feeling energized and light.

The group of people leading and facilitating here are truly interested in helping each human who enters their doors exactly where they are at, at their own pace, in their own time. I've never been to such a low pressure and approachable practice space that also affords the opportunity for challenges.

The students I get to practice with are also incredibly inspiring people. I've been so impressed with how many people are regularly showing up, trying things out of their comfort zone, and sticking with it. This really shows me that Rachel and Victoria have taken great effort to make this a practice that doesn't burn anyone out, but also shows people what they're capable of...so they want to keep going.

If you're considering attending a class, I highly recommend their Foundations series. It is a methodical, alignment based, stair step program that will help even very experienced Yogi's pay deeper attention to their practice.

Thank you Rachel for all you do to keep this place going. I am very grateful to be a part of this little community.

I just moved to Oregon and started going to Thrive for yoga classes and it's such a lovely studio. I've taken classes with four of the teachers including the owner and they all create a welcoming, peaceful and knowledgeable vibe to their classes. I moved here from Colorado and in my time there had a home studio that felt very welcoming, but when it closed down had trouble finding a place that didn't feel like an exercise studio where everyone was anonymous. Every time I go into Thrive someone working there introduces themselves and I see them doing this to others who are new as well. I would highly recommend this studio for yoga classes and am so, grateful to have found such a great place to build my yoga practice as well as community.

Thrive is a beautiful, tranquil, clean space for yoga practice (and more!). They have all the props you need (even mats) so if you don't have these things, or forget them on a certain day, they've got you covered!
I've tried a couple different yoga disciplines here, and each teacher has been excellent in their own style. I really enjoy coming to practice here, and always feel welcome. Not to mention there are other wellness practitioners in the space, and many cool workshops offered often!

I really enjoy attending Thrive classes. I have tried all of the yoga related classes and the BodyWise movement class. All are phenomenal and offer different experiences. I would have to say Mary's Vinyasa classes really stand out, and she is such a kind instructor. Rachel, the owner and instructor for Foundations and the BodyWise classes is such a fantastic person. She makes the space feel welcoming for everyone, and truly cares about everyone that walks through her doors.
I do the monthly membership and it is worth it. I plan being a member for a long-time to come.

Thank you everyone at Thrive for making the experience amazing. I am so grateful my yoga journey led me here.

Yoga newbie here, I am recovering from knee surgery and was bored of the typical physical therapy. I decided to give yoga a chance to help heal my body as well as my mind from the covid lockdown. It was the jump started I needed and the studio and instructors are all very inviting. My advice for someone just getting into it is to try out a couple different instructors as their teaching styles vary. Overall a very comfortable place to try out something new!

Love the calming space, peace, escape from the daily grind, and friendly people (staff and students) I find at Thrive. I’ve always felt very welcomed and it’s obvious all levels, body types, orientations...everyone is encouraged and welcomed here. I’ve been to lots of other studios and had a good time, but Thrive is where I always return and really feel I have learned and gained the most. Appreciate they keep their class prices low and reasonable, a sacred community seems to outweigh profit motives here.
