I mean no disrespect by this post. Just an honest review by someone who is a gym goer and has been in many different gyms. This will do for now, as its pretty much the only option in Silverton other than Anytime Fitness. (Crazy spendy to join) For what this gym offers, price is decent. However if you are a serious lifter or bodybuilder, you will have a hard time getting a full workout here.

The cardio room is great. Plenty of equipment to choose from! The free weights are plentiful and have a great range of lbs. The issue is have is with the weight machines. Think precor early 2000s with minimal adjustments per machine. The one size fits all does not work anymore. For instance, the leg adductor/abductor machine; the tightest you can adjust it, you still won't get any tension until you've already pulled your legs halfway apart so the ROM is just a few inches each way vs instant.

The leg extension type machines only adjust the seat forward/backwards and then the bottom swing. But the top bar doesn't adjust for leg size so you end up bracing with other muscles.

The real issue I have is with the single Leg Press machine they have here. Its an angled leg press, meaning when you bring your legs forward its at an upward almost 60/70 degree angle. (A normal press is about 30) your knees are basically in your face vs at your chest on the downward. The foot pad is concave as well. Any more than one 45 on each side and the pressure is all on your lower back/groin area. If you have the slightest of hernias, you'll blow it on this machine.
Theres one Smith machine, and its angled as well.
The upstairs room is awesome. Full of stationary cycle bikes, bands, weights, etc!
Im hoping some of the machines will get updated/replaced but if not Ill just get creative.

The absolute best gym I’ve ever been to.
The employees are so patient and so helpful. The atmosphere is very clean and professional. I highly recommend total body fitness to anyone and everyone. Not only are the staff members the absolute best in the buisness but they also care so much about all the small things.. (sanitation, abusing equipment timing, providing people with the best customer service, etc)

If you are looking for a great place to go get a workout in… you’ve officially found it.

I've been really happy with this gym until I realized I've been overcharged by $200+ this past year and the owner wouldn't issue me a refund. Last January, she told me I could sign up for the full spa service for 1 month and then after the month, my membership would automatically be dropped down to the base membership rate, which I opted for so I could use the tanning bed in the winter. After recently looking at my bank statement, I realized that I'd been charged the spa rate this whole year. When I called and spoke with the owner to ask for a refund, she wasn't able to take responsibility for this mistake on her part (and yes, I do take ownership of not noticing this overcharge for so many months) and refused to refund me, even though I had only used the extra spa services in January. This amounts of $225 of charges that I did not agree to. This lack of customer service and personal accountability is quite frustrating in a small community like Silverton.

Have to leave a 5-star review for the exceptional response when I called the gym on Christmas Eve when my key fob wasn’t working. The lady behind the phone quickly provided a solution that was satisfactory for me right then and there, on the spot. Bravo!

Sarah Zander does a 50+ fitness class and it is fantastic. She motivates, has a variety of exercise and it works me as hard as I want to work at my age. Weights, cardio, balance.
Also love the yoga, stretching and zumba. Great place!

Thus place is fantastic. Red Light therapy, salt therapy and hydro massage are absolutely wonderful. The gals who work here bend over backwards to make sure everything works perfectly. 🥰🥰🥰

It's a great gym, clean with good equipment. However, they use electric plug in scent diffusers. These are not good for anyone's health and I happen to be allergic to the scents. If they want to use organic essential oil diffusers, that would be healthier. I'm sure management wants to not be liable for anyone's adverse health. "Plug-in air fresheners contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs). These are a group of compounds that are released into the air and then can be breathed in. VOCs pose several potential risks to humans including causing eye, nose and throat irritation as well as headaches and potential damage to internal organs.Aug 2, 2023."

The owners and employees of this facility are top notch. Very friendly and professional! The thing that impressed me the most was how down to earth and honest they run things. The commitment with membership is a football field better than the other gyms in silverton. The equipment looks brand new and the facility looks to be 3 times larger than other gyms. I'm glad to be supporting a local business who treats people like people not just another dollar. Very very impressed.
