Long overdue review! I have been a member at TTP for over 3 months now and I love it. I trained with Turk for 3 months and all I have to say is if you ever train with him, just come prepared with an open mind & listen to what he tells you because if you don’t, you won’t see results! He’s one of the best trainers I’ve ever trained with. He’s super knowledgeable and educated in what it takes to transform your body! He’s very cool & chill and tell it like it is no sugar coating! He means business & is serious if you’re serious about your fitness goals. I would definitely train with him again soon! I’ve gained more muscle and lost a good amount of body fat. I like the feel of this gym environment. Everyone I’ve met are nice and cool! I like that the gym is 24hr and you can workout whenever you’re free & able to. I can get in the gym using my key fob whenever! I really like how they have classes throughout the week for you to attend and boot camp class on Saturdays is my favorite and you get a really good workout in! Overall, the staff are nice & friendly, the other trainers there are friendly & cool. This gym is the perfect place if you want to get serious about transforming your body & fitness goals. I’ve been getting sooo many compliments on how much weight I’ve lost and what I’ve been doing and all. I just tell them, I have an awesome trainer that doesn’t play about fitness & takes your goals seriously! Literally!!😃😀 If you’re thinking of joining TTP fitness, just join & you won’t regret it!

Whether you're just starting or a long time gym rat, TTP Fitness is the place to be. Just the right size, not crowded, plenty of equipment and free weights, optional meal prep, and 24/7 access. Staff are awesome: super friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. This is the best gym I've been to and I'm proud to be a member! You'll definitely get the support, tools, and skill set you're looking for at TTP Fitness. Another plus is that the gym is near the Milikian Way blue and red MAX Line station if you're traveling from a little ways out.

TLDR: If you’re willing to put in the work and know it’s going to take more than just 30 minutes of working out, it’s a great place to go to. If you’re wanting to be a competitor, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere.

People looking to lose weight and join a gym: The trainers there are super sweet (Ryan and Suzy both are amazing, Turk is knowledgeable and will push you to the necessary limits to lose weight) and the environment is friendly. Please don’t fall for the “you can look like this with only 30 minute workouts”. I saw a post where they were using a photos of a competitor I trained with who had a massive transformation and labeled it as her achieving it by doing just 30 minute workouts. They failed to mention her very low calorie diet and 1.5 hours of cardio per day for 5+ days a week for monthssss. I brought it to Turk’s attention and he saw nothing wrong with it, saying no one but me knows what she did and didn’t do to get there (picture attached) and she did start off initially with the 30 minute workouts. It completely discredited what she did to get there and they are trying to pass it off as a transformation done with only 30 minute workouts. So as long as you’re being realistic with yourself in what you have to do to get some of these transformations, then that’s okay! :) You should consider the calorie intake and dieting, as well as cardio for some of these transformations they’re posting. Others are totally true and you can tell when they are. You’ll definitely learn a lot about certain lifts and start realizing just how much you can push your body. All clients there are super supportive and non-judgmental, so it’s also a great place to build up your confidence!

Competitors: I went to TTP fitness a couple of years ago with a goal of becoming an NPC competitor. I was naive in what to look for, but Turk checked all the boxes in what I thought I needed. Things missing that I now know NEED to be included in coaching for a competitor (especially for $80 for every 30 minute session): health tests such as Blood Glucose monitoring, resting heart rate, sleep tracking, daily weight fasted in the morning, bowel movements, period cycles, and blood tests to constantly make sure you’re not over stressing your body out. Competing is damaging on the body, no matter how you go about it. You want a coach that can see how your body is responding with health markers such as these so as to not damage your metabolism or your gut health, and incorporate supplements when needed to keep you as healthy as you can be (natural; think Vitmain C, multi vitamins, potassium, etc.). Turk didn’t do any of that. I ended up pulling out weeks before my show because I knew I didn’t look anywhere close to what I wanted for my stage debut. I found another coach who put me on stage for the experience (my choice and picture attached). It took me months to get my metabolism back in check because I had an insane protocol (300g protein, 80g carbs, 30g fat) under Turk’s guidance which absolutely wrecked my gut. My current coach then built me up for 2 years before having me compete, and the process was 8384x better because I didn’t have 90 minutes of cardio fueled by pretty much only protein (talk about brain fog LOL) and I had a coach that could see if something was going wrong with my body, sometimes before I could even tell myself! That’s what you should aim for - a solid foundation of building before competing and a coach willing to be patient; especially for me as I am a natural athlete and I don’t take any of the drugs. I had maybe 1-2 months of “building” with Turk before we started prep and cutting. You want a coach that isn’t going to rush the process, a delicate one at that. My “4 week out” look with Turk was my “16 week out” look with my coach. I found that my coach had an abundance of knowledge and made my daily meal plan, had weekly photo check ins, created an excel sheet for me to put my health markers on, and was was about 1/8 the price of Turk. If I could do it over again, I would look elsewhere for a coach.

I have been a member at TTP for over a month now and I love it. I am working with Kaleb G, and he is an amazing trainer. I have more muscle and less fat than I have in a long time, and I am only 4 weeks in with him as a trainer. Beyond the great training, I love the feel of this gym. People are genuine, the energy is fun and positive, and there are people from all different walks of life that frequent the gym. It feels good to be there and I don't get that vibe like I got at my last gym where employees are just friendly to try and sell you something. It is also open 24 hours which is a huge bonus! I can get in using my fob whenever! Overall, the staff are awesome, the people who train there are friendly, and it is the perfect spot to get serious about being the best version of yourself that you can be! Training with Ryan has been a real game-changer in my fitness journey. When I first joined TTP, I was not in the best shape, but Ryan's positive and motivating atmosphere made me feel at ease. This gym, and my trainer Dillon, were amazing. I joined after Nick and Turk spoke to me about my goals. I was overweight, having knee pain, and frankly a mess. They matched me with Dillon Pearse, who over the course of a year helped me become an entirely different person. I shed body fat, gained muscle, and have no knee pain at all. All of my personal bests increased substantially, and I'm most proud of a 250# back squat and chin up progress. But its the clothes that fit better, decreased heart rate, and overall health that really showcase the progress with Dillons guidance and Turks meal and macro plans.

Dillon helped through not just training and support, but running mobility classes, bootcamps, and being simply a wealth of knowledge and motivation. Always ready to help, encourage, and push you to the limit.

This experience helped me achieve my goals, is worth every penny, and I only left because I am moving across the world. If I could pay to move Dillon and this facility with me, I would.

My wife found TTP Fitness and Turk after my colon cancer diagnosis and surgery. We wanted to try and rebuild my body after a lot of muscle attrophy due to surgery complications and almost a month straight in hospital beds. Turk took time to learn about my cancer and my more unique eating habits to prevent further cancer spread. My first time in his gym, I was walking with a walker because I had recently developed a blood clot shortly after my first chemo treatment. It has literally been a little less than two months since my first session and I can see my muscles in my arms and legs coming back and I have a lot more energy thanks to his specifically designed program just for me. I started in September 2024 with Rick and I can say confidently that I’m healthier both physically and mentally due to the time spent with him at TTP fitness.

I have never had a physical trainer before, I think intimidated and self-conscious certainly described how I was feeling when I started.
Rick could sense that and worked intentionally to breakdown my walls and see me as a real human being. I’m not just an appointment on his calendar.
Because of that, I trusted his ability to push me to lift weights I’ve never done before and feel pride in the work I’m doing.

A big thank you to my trainer Liam and TTP for the past 6 months! Since starting at TTP I’ve noticed a huge positive difference in health, energy, and general physical ability. Not to say that all physical issues will be solved by eating better and lifting weights, but within two months of starting sessions, a number of my chronic pain issues cleared up. I’d tried a gym membership elsewhere before, but the combination of having a structured workout/trainer schedule plus classes plus a rough meal plan has made a huge difference to my daily life. I’ve been doing my beginner workouts alongside boxing classes and bodybuilders, and I’ve never felt intimidated or ashamed to be at TTP, just impressed with my fellow gym-goers and myself.

My personal trainer Liam has been key to all my improvements. Within the first week of sessions we hit it off really well, and I, someone who is fairly reluctant to work out, now really look forward to our weekly sessions. Sometimes it’s the highlight of my day to go into a session, be set up for 20 lb heavier weights than I expected, and come out pleased and surprised that I can push myself to succeed. I’m now on my sixth month of training with him, and looking forward to 2025.

Liam’s very accommodating in both schedule and routines. Every session he encourages me to push myself, but if I have any concerns, he immediately listens and adjusts the exercise appropriately. I initially started at the same time as my partner doing the same routines, but now that we’ve both been there for a while Liam’s been slowly splitting up what we do into specialized exercises and intensity levels.

Extra shoutout to Dillon’s group mobility sessions! If I don’t go to one of these during the week after I do leg day, I end up hobbling around.

A few small details I wanted to shout out:
- There’s a pretty big and wonderful range in attendee body types and age range and ethnicities
- There’s only one machine of each type, but the trainers do short rotations on each machine and the gym is rarely crowded when there isn’t a class. I’ve never seen it be a problem, but sometimes the floor area is a little crowded when a class is in session.
- My fav meal plan packs are the Sweet Chili Salmon and the Peanut Chicken Bento Bowl.

I have had the pleasure of working with Susy on strength training and balance for the past 3 or 4 months, and I can attest to the fact that she has a strong knowledge base of anatomy and muscle systems. I've been training with Ryan since about 2020. He's by far the best trainer I've ever worked with. He knows how to push me and challenge me out of my comfort zone without making me anxious. I struggled with pretty severe gym anxiety for years. It was to the point I'd have panic attacks just pulling in to other gyms. I decided in 2020, I had enough, so I gave TTP a try. Ryan knows me very well and knows when I'm in my head, making excuses, and he never let's me quit! I'm so grateful to TTP, and my trainer Ryan. TTP is 100% worth the investment! Rick has been my personal trainer since July 2024, along with a personalized nutrition plan by Turk and an occasional Saturday boot camp class by Nadia. The best of the best. I have successfully lost 35 pounds and feel stronger than I have in several years!
I had been battling with not being able to stick to a consistent plan and not feeling like myself (2 kids under 2 years will do that to ya), but I finally made the choice to invest in myself, and it has been so worth it. Full story: I found TTP pretty soon after moving to the area. I had been struggling to find a home gym and consistent routine. This is my first time trying personal training. I knew I needed someone to hold me accountable. I was paired with Susy, and she has been amazing! She’s immensely knowledgeable about all things fitness (strength training, nutrition, running, you name it). She intuitively knows when to push me harder and in doing so has helped me to become the strongest I’ve ever been.

The community at TTP is very close knit, and the atmosphere is comfortable and low key. 1 on 1 Sessions with Susy and boot camps with Nadia quickly became highlights of my week, every week. Susy and the TTP team really have changed my life.

I trained with Susy and love her! I showed up with long Covid symptoms and no endurance and she gently helped me get myself back together over several months. I was afraid of getting hurt but Susy supported my form, increased the weights, and varied the exercises perfectly. Plus, she had me laughing the whole time and looking forward to our sessions. Most importantly, I felt like she cared and had my back. The gym is low-key and most people there are working with a trainer so it's never too busy. Turk sets a great tone. I am so glad I found Ryan as my trainer!!!
I know I needed to get back on track and focus on my health but was nervous about how to start. I am an active 55 year old female, healthy but was not on an active excercise/weight routine. I let life get too busy. And as I’m getting older I just realized I really needed/wanted to focus on strength to keep me active as long as possible. I found TTP fitness after seeing a Facebook add. I was recovering from surgery when I met w Nick and learned about the gym and the trainers. I decided to take the leap and started training with Ryan last December. It has been the best decision I have made in a very long time. Beside finally focusing on myself, I feel great. Ryan has been amazing working with me thru my recovery and also a separate injury. Always meeting me where I was and adapting exercises so I could still accomplish the goal. All while pushing me to get stronger in a safe manner. He has a wealth of knowledge and is always positive, always available for questions, and flexible w scheduling.
I have had a couple other trainers briefly over the years that just didn’t stick for whatever reason. But Ryan is stuck with me now!
The gym environment is a very welcoming and friendly place. Accepting of all levels of fitness. In addition to my training w Ryan, I attend Dylan’s mobility class that is phenomenal for joints. They also have kick ass boot camp classes w Nadia. I highly recommend TTP fitness.

I checked out several gyms in the area and chose TTP Fitness. It’s not a big box shop but it fit my style perfectly! At 72 I’ve never been a gym rat and feel somewhat uptight when I come within 50 yards of any workout machine! I signed up for one-on-one training sessions in late October. I’ve had the good fortune of working with Susy and although I can’t quite believe how pooped I am after only a 30 minute workout, I love it. Susy has an intuitive sense of what I need and how to make it doable for me! She is very cautious about avoiding injury which is important to me! The owner and entire staff are friendly and welcoming. If your New Year’s resolution was starting a workout program, choose TTP Fitness and ask for Susy (but I think ALL the trainers are top notch!). If I can do it, so can you!!

I started my fitness journey in January at TTP and I was honored to be trained by the one and only Damon Stubblefield. Through the 16 week journey, Dame pushed me to my limits without coming across as a harsh trainer. His motivation to help get me in better shape gave me the motivation to give it my all each time I walked in their training facility. Suzy is an amazing trainer! She does a great job understanding your goals and pushes you to reach them. She provides really helpful feedback on your form or technique and finds ways to help you improve and succeed.

This was my first time working with a personal trainer and I could not have a better experience! I’ve been training with Ryan for about 3 months now and found him to be incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and fun to work with. He always goes out of his way to thoroughly explain every workout in a way that’s clear, concise, and understandable, and I always feel confident when working out with him that I’m doing things correctly and in the most efficient manner.

More importantly, he keeps me accountable and consistent in my habits. He’s constantly checking up on me and has been incredibly accommodating — often going out of his way to make last minute changes in order to accommodate my incredibly inconsistent schedule. He also somehow manages to be the only person who is able to keep me going to the gym 3 times a week no matter how hectic my week is, how tired I am, or how much I’m falling apart both mentally and physically (I’m just now realizing that maybe my next review should be for a therapist).

During my first session with him, I vividly remember being about as physically fit as a small, malnourished child (I’m 27). I remember not even being able to complete a whole workout, leaving the gym feeling like I was probably on the verge of dying, and wondering how I was going to drive home without collapsing or having to use my arms which were no longer functioning. After the workout, my arms felt so tight that I couldn’t extend them all the way, which resulted in me having to spend an entire week cosplaying as a T-Rex (if I had to spend more than a week like that, I’d probably want to go extinct too). I remember spending every day regretting that I even had arms in the first place, and heavily regretting ever setting foot inside a gym.

Three months later, and that same workout routine that had me questioning my entire life would probably be considered a quick warmup today. I’m able to push myself much further than I ever thought I was capable of and am much more confident and comfortable in a gym than I ever thought I would be.

TTP's slogan of "We Will Change Your Life" is much more than just a slogan for me.

Earlier in life, I suffered several injuries that left my lower back in complete disarray. Needless to say, my self-image, self-confidence, and everything were pretty shattered and over the years I lost my physical fitness and became severely overweight. With my injury and my weight, I was scared to work out again because I felt like I was made out of glass.

I've now been going to TTP Fitness for over two years, and all of that has changed for me. Turk and Ryan gave me the initial boost in confidence and support I needed to slowly start getting back into it, and from that point on I've been working with Ryan for these past two years. My body is stronger, I have more stamina, I've lost weight, and I feel better about myself. I no longer have the intrusive thoughts I used to when I look at myself in the mirror. I began working with Turk in July.  He drives me to work my hardest while being encouraging and supportive. I love the full support at TTP. I worked with Susy in preparation for my wedding because I felt so overwhelmed with where to start and how to create a structure for myself. I have always been intimidated by lifting weights but Susy showed me many things I never knew - about technique, timing, and how to know I am getting the right training effect. Susy is warm and friendly and made the process fun and engaging. Of course, what you get out of it will be determined by what you put in and so it's essential to prioritize recovery from your workouts, be patient with the process and have reasonable expectations for yourself. TTF fitness is extraordinary. I don't write many reviews but had to write this one.

Just being honest, I am an overweight woman at 66, with many injuries including both knees and a frozen shoulder. I have worked with 4 trainers in the past. I either had no real results and quit or they caused more injuries and I had to quit.

I have been working out with Turk (who has injuries himself); we did stretching for a month before I ever lifted a single weight. Unlike other trainers - he listens and then asks questions and makes adjustments based on my level of pain. He is funny, super positive, ultra smart about the body and a genuine person who cares about results without injuries. I truly appreciate the time and care he takes when training. Turk makes me want to work harder.

I am seeing success after about 7 weeks. My shoulder is mobile; and I can move my arm. My knees don't hurt as bad. And I can feel my strength growing.

The first day I walked into TTP, I was super intimidated!! There were people strutting around in bikinis training for a body-building competition. I soon learned that not everyone has the same goals and there are plenty of people just like me at TTP (just average 40 year olds trying to get strong)! TTP Fitness is a gym environment i have yet to experience anywhere else. it’s a large open gym with natural lighting and plenty of equipment. the staff is very dedicated, kind, and welcoming. my plan consult was with Nick who is super friendly and really lessened the intimidation of a new gym, laid out everything for me and even adjusted a payment plan that worked for me.

i trained with suzy, who i can’t say enough positive things about, she’s super fun, dedicated, and knowledgeable about her training, was always flexible with session times, and free to answer any questions i had! every session felt productive, suzy really knows how to push the most out of a training session while not completely killing you for the days following. usually consistency is the hardest part in completing fitness goals but every day i had scheduled with suzy i was excited to go train hard and learn for myself!

the plan that i purchased not only afforded me my sessions with suzy but also got me a full body scan and nutrition consult with Turk. so i could get my eating right outside of the gym.

(they also offer meal prep you can buy, nick let me sample one and they are super delicious and tons to choose from)

turk was super thorough with my specific macros, when to eat in relation to cardio, how to calculate macros based on food nutrition labels and so on.
i feel like this information is responsible for 80% of my successes at ttp fitness along with the work of my trainer suzy, the great staff and, my own kickass work at TTP Fitness.

I cannot say enough good things about TTP as a whole and of the trainers that I have been able to work with over the years. I originally began working with TTP before the pandemic, and though a lot has changed since then, TTP has only grown in its dedication to their clients. I have had the pleasure of working with two trainers at TTP, Ryan and Susy.
Firstly, I want to talk through the personal training with Ryan. He has been an awesome person to work with in a lot of different ways. I cannot recommend him enough if you are looking to start personal training. He has an expansive knowledge base on becoming healthier and more fit, both on the nutrition side as well as the workout side (as you would expect from a personal trainer), but going past that, he has also gone above and beyond in being supportive and flexible in working with me.

I was very nervous when I first started trying to hunt down a personal trainer for myself. It felt as though I may have been throwing money at someone to tell me to do things I could do on my own. But that has not been the case. I have learned so much, machines and lifts I thought I knew how to do, but really I was slightly off and using the wrong muscle groups or my form was off in a way. Ryan has made sure that throughout the exercising process, that I understand what the different movements are for and what they should be focused on, clearly communicating the intricacies of the different lifts while encouraging me to learn and grow (not once have I felt like an idiot for not knowing something).

He is incredibly communicative and follows up week to week on things we are working on. If I ever have a question he responds quickly and thoroughly. He also always checks in on if I have questions throughout the workouts and afterwards, and is always encouraging me to push myself and hold myself accountable (which was one of my original goals). He is very clearly trying to help me get to a place where I will no longer need him to keep pushing myself, and that alone feels huge to me. Unlike some previous experiences I have had with trainers at a large chain gym, where they constantly try to add more sessions and tell you that you need them, Ryan is working to get me to a place where I can go down to fewer weekly sessions and how I can have a sustainable plan for fitness and well-being without him. Overall, he also has a really positive energy that encourages growth and maintains a healthy pressure for forward momentum. As the kids say these days, he has good vibes.

So in a rather long winded way, I cannot recommend highly enough that you work with Ryan for any fitness support you may need or want. He has been a truly wonderful trainer.

A small update: Ryan is still amazing, but I have now also had the opportunity to work with Susy as a personal trainer and wanted to add a blurb about working with her.
Susy is also amazing. She is a newer trainer with TTP, and I got to spend the better part of last year working with her as my personal trainer. She always keeps a positive and motivating energy as she pushes her clients forward. She is consistent with checking back in on client goals and the progress towards meeting those goals. She also really emphasizes the importance of listening to your body so that you do not injure yourself while working towards meeting your goals. She is excellent with breaking down how to get from where you are at to where you want to be, in manageable chunks, whether your goals are connected to weight training, powerlifting, endurance, or just an overall sense of health/fitness.

Overall, TTP appears to focus on hiring and working with trainers that are passionate about the work they do and are flexible and adaptive to client needs. You cannot go wrong by coming here.

I trained for a 6 months with TTP Fitness and the majority of that was with Vince! It was a humbling experience and I felt pushed to my limits every single day. He really pushes you to achieve your best and won’t let you have any excuses. When I had pain or any injuries Vince adjusted the exercises to fit my needs. If I could go back and live in the area again, I would definitely sign up for TTP Fitness again and ask for Vince to be my trainer.

Also, I had the opportunity to have the meal plans cooked and prepared for me. I really suggest getting into that program. It makes tracking your caloric intake and macros a breeze And you don’t have to meal prep which is such a burden when you have a busy schedule. OH AND IT TASTES AMAZING.

Finding the right trainer is always a challenge. Last August I walked into TTP based on recommendations from a few friends, met with Nick to have an intake conversation, and decided to give TTP a few months of my commitment to see what happened. I race bicycles and lift primarily to increase power in service of pedaling.

I've lifted on my own and trained with personal trainers on and off for a few decades. But these days I'm mid-40's with a full-throttle type of corporate job, 8-10 hours of cycling workouts per week, and family obligations - so I need efficiency in the execution.

TTP's approach is simple, straightforward, and effective. Master Trainer and Owner Turk Fickling is a no-BS, cut-to-the-chase type who will also make you laugh out loud even as you're heart rate skyrockets. He pulls no punches, but he also listens intently to his clients, integrates feedback, has a deep mastery of anatomy, makes adjustments based on dynamic circumstances, keeps the energy high, and strives to fully understand all of the facets of your fitness/wellness/performance situation.

I've also spent time working with Trainer Liam and the kid is incredible. Always greets me with a smile and great energy, keeps workout plans fresh and challenging, pushes me to go a little harder than I think I can, and integrates lots of fun movements, including boxing (he didn't even mind when I accidentally tagged his jaw :) ) Liam is dogged about correcting form and getting the most out of every single contraction.

The gym in general falls into the "everything you need and nothing you don't" category. Simple, well-designed, good vibes, friendly staff, friendly members, a good variety of music.

You can also order pre-made meals from TTP and they're great for weeks when life is just getting bananas and you want to take "meal prep" off your long to-do list.

Can't recommend this place enough. Train with Liam, you won't regret it!

I trained with Vincent a few months back. Before training with him I hadn’t worked out in 4 years and I didn’t know where to start. Vincent taught me the skills I need to to get back into the gym more confident than ever. At the end of the three month program I did I lost inches around my stomach, chest and neck. I have been working with Liam at TTP for the past five months and it has been a great and eye-opening experience!

I have used fitness trainers off and on remotely for the past seven years working with them to develop training regimens and meal plans, but always working out on my own. While I achieved positive results, I never felt completely confident in my workouts, technique, nutrition, and overall approach to achieving healthy, injury free, and sustainable results. Because of this, i would go through periods where my weight and fitness levels would fluctuate significantly.

Age my age (54), I decided I needed a different approach and began looking for an in-person solution and I am very happy I chose TTP Fitness! Liam and TTP have shown me the significant difference a knowledgeable and in-person experience can make. It’s night and day! I have learned so much and pushed myself to levels I could not achieve alone nor thought possible.

Liam checks in with me before each session to assess where I am physically and mentally. He easily adapts my workouts based on that information so that I can get the most out of each session without fear of injury or aggravating chronic issues (i.e. stiff back and shoulders). Liam has a great demeanor. He is encouraging, holds me accountable, and, maybe more importantly, he holds me capable.

I have watched Liam with other clients (men/women/younger/older) and the experiences and interactions seem to mirror mine. I think this speaks well to his ability to relate and adapt to the specific needs, goals, and personality of each client.

My wife researched the web and found TTP. Reviewed their web and scheduled an appointment to see Turk and Ryan.
They were super helpful and very friendly, explaining the pros and cons of programs they offered.

3 of us started with individual traing sessions and they have been great.
Tried the macro balanced foods. Really like the convenience of calculating the macro.

The trainers will push you, as any physical trainers will do.
Monthly gym membership is pretty good deal, also. You get to use the facility anytime you want.

Highly recommend giving these guys, and girls, a try. Yes, they do have several female trainers.

The whole team at TTP is fantastic. Every time I show up, I feel like their entire purpose in life is to help me reach my goals. They helped me set reasonable expectations and to meet or exceed them along the way.

I have been training with Ryan for nearly a year and he is gregarious and knowledgeable. I often ask him questions about why we do certain exercises or variations of an exercise and he always has a well supported answer. He rarely lets me quit with "good enough" and pushes me to get stronger. He pays keen attention to my form and can tell if I am experiencing pain or discomfort. He asks me about it and is quick to make adjustments to the plan that day if it is not just discomfort.

Turk has a passion for fitness and nutrition that is unmatched in my experience. He is high energy and friendly and still willing to help hold you accountable. He provided me guidance and reasoning around setting up a nutritional plan and macro targets based on my weight and goals. We have refined those targets every month or two as my fitness and weight levels change.

The meals that they offer in addition to the personal training are both a great value and help me to stick to the nutritional plan. They are filling, healthy, and help me stick to my macro targets, though you may want to have some seasoning around.

In addition to the training and the meals, TTP has a body scanning tool which does measurements of various parts of the body and calculates body fat with only a minute or two on a small machine that turns you around. I have these scans once or twice a month and this provides me regular feedback on my progress which helps support my motivation, even on days when I feel like I am not making progress.

They started offering a free boot camp class on Saturday mornings a few months ago. I was reluctant at first, but have started going and really get a lot out of it. It is more conditioning based with a series of 5-10 exercises done for short periods of time with very short rests. These classes have been a nice way to get to know some of the other clients a little better and make some connections I may not have otherwise.

Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough. I know that it is an investment, but am a strong believer that an investment in myself and my health is the best investment I can make. I continue to make progress and achieve new goals, I like hanging out and talking with the staff and other clients, and appreciate the acknowledgement of the work I put in and the accountability.

3 months ago, I challenged myself to do something totally crazy - attempt something no one who knows me would expect - something that, quite frankly, seemed scary to me.

I got a personal trainer.

With two little ones, I decided it's time I get healthier. But, what do I know about fitness?!

From day 1 - I was put at ease by Nick. He met with me, talked to me about my goals and discussed what sort of options were available to me. He never once made me feel like it was a hard sell - more, he was here to answer my questions and encourage me. Most importantly, he assured me that this wasn't going to be something that was going to drive me away. The team was going to work with me at my pace.

I decided I'd go three mornings a week - totally crazy, right?!

This fitness gym is a hidden gem in Beaverton. Ryan - my trainer, was compassionate, understanding, and full of energy. He understood where I was coming from and catered a training program specific to my needs. The cost of the program is pretty steep, but it will be one of the most important investments you can make for yourself. I do wish the sessions were a little longer, 30 minutes fly by pretty quickly if you're talking and taking rests between sessions. Overall, it was great experience and Ryan has helped me overcome my limiting believes - both physically and mentally.

I am thrilled with my experience with my trainer Susy and the whole team at TTP Fitness. I came to TTP after an extended period of being sedentary and letting myself go. I came seeking help and structure to make sustainable changes to my lifestyle. Meeting with Turk gave me confidence I came to the right place. Turk laid out a three part plan: (1) strength training for half an hour three times per week, (2) cardio for half an hour on the other days, and (3) a meal plan with three pre-made meals and two protein shakes per day.

I’ve been sticking to that plan (most of the time) and training with Susy for a little over three months now. Susy is an amazing trainer. All I have to do is show up and try as hard as I can and Susy does the rest. She keeps track of everything - reps, weight, routines - she even wipes the equipment. The workouts are intense. Susy pushes me to do much more than I could ever do working out alone (if I’d even come). She mixes it up to keep things varied. She makes sure my form is correct. And she checks in with how I’m feeling and is compassionate and encouraging.

The gym is clean, low-key, and never too crowed. The TTP team is friendly and helpful. The meal plan really works for me. The ready-to-heat food is delicious, filling, and super convenient.

Susy and another trainer, Vince, recently started holding free Saturday morning boot camp. Training as a group and doing new kinds of exercises has been a fun addition to my TTP regimen.

Another great feature of TTP is the computerized body scans. The pictures and data allow you to see your progress concretely. In three months, I’ve gone from 24% to 17% body fat, lost 15 pounds and three inches off my belly, and gained muscle in my arms and legs.

Sorry to say I had a very terrible experience with "Turk". He was mean, not supportive and constantly told me "That's not good enough".
When after a month I had lost both fat AND muscle after religiously following his idiotic "fitness diet" he blithely proclaimed it's because I was lying about how much soda I drank. I don't drink soda.
I hope that anyone who reads this approaches this particular trainer with an abundance of caution because after all the money I spent and all the work I did with him, at the end of it, he made me feel worse as a person than when I started. The worst money I ever spent.
And the tragedy is I kinda liked him, and thought we could have gone on for a while. But he was too narcissistic to actually listen to this high paying client. Cannot recommend this particular trainer.
Also, Turk, quit asking me to like your posts on social media accounts.

There's a sign on the outside of the building that says "we will change your life" and when I first saw it I was skeptical to say the least. I've worked with personal trainers at local gyms before before but it always felt like I was more just a number to them. Turk and TTP Fitness are different. Turk is a personal trainer first who also has a gym. He takes the time to get to know you, understand what your objectives are and works with you towards those goals, both in the gym and outside. In the four months I've been working with him I've lost 10lbs of fat, gained at least 5lbs of muscle and feel considerably more comfortable in my clothes and really in my skin in general. You will be pushed to your limits, your muscles will ache and you will come to respect the airdyne bike, but they will change your life.

I can't say enough great things about Turk and Ryan! I have been training with them for just over two months now and I have seen the quickest and biggest results in these two months than I have ever before, all while eating more food. Turk is an expert on the nutrition piece which is a key component to living a healthier lifestyle, he has taught me so much about fueling your body in the right way so that you get the results you are looking for. I didn't realize how many misconceptions I had about nutrition until I sat down with Turk and Ryan to really understand how nutrition affects your body, what works, what doesn't, and most importantly why. Ryan really emphasizes keeping the work out routine sustainable for me personally so that I can realistically keep up with the work outs in my every day life. As someone who's remained quite active, I reached an idle point of what I could accomplish alone. I connected w/ Turk to better understand certain workout routines which would help me increase muscle mass but not compromise a lean shape. As we continued to workout, I added a suite of different exercise routines to what I did in the past and appreciated the workout ethic we developed.

The most difficult aspect was how to incorporate a vegan diet into the routine, not because of protein limitations but excessive carbohydrate intake in whatever macronutrients I consumed. This was an area Turk and I bounced ideas on and it was nice to learn what he's studied.

I’d reached the point where I had to make sustainable changes to improve my health and lose weight. My wife had started working with these guys and now I’m doing it as well. We both work with Ryan Birdsong and he has been great. We came up with a meal plan and framework to go with the workouts. Awesome would be the word I would use to describe my first eight weeks working with Turk and Ryan at TPP Personal Training.

For the first month, I worked with Turk going through a HIIT style strength training program 3-days a week. The second month I worked with Ryan that continued the same approach. Both trainers pushed and encouraged me to squeeze a few more reps with each set to maximize my training.

At the end of 8-weeks, I lost a total of 10.4 pounds of body weight and added 6 pounds of muscle. Both trainers did skinfold measurements with calipers every two weeks so we could track my progress.

I’ll continue to work with both trainers and would highly recommend Turk and Ryan to anyone in search of a personal trainer.

I've been working with Turk for a few months now and he is absolutely amazing. The change I've seen in myself physically and mentally in such a short period of time is more than I was expecting. Although in the beginning the movements seem difficult, I always feel motivated and accomplished when I am done working out. My son and I have been working with Ryan Birdsong for about a month at TTP fitness. He has been great! We originally looked at getting a personal trainer at the local gym, but were turned off by how cocky they all were. I felt judged by those trainers and discouraged about getting in shape. Started with Ryan exactly 1 month ago today. He pushes me hard and I do my best to give him everything I’ve got each session... been following nutrient guidelines he and Turk provided to a “T” and... RESULTS!! I have a whopping 15 lbs of fat off and gained 5 lbs muscle, INSANE! I was told losing weight in this season of life was nearly impossible (I’m a 51 year old peri-menopausal woman). Ryan knows what he’s doing and I affectionately refer to my training sessions as “sucking excellent”! I highly recommend Ryan, I trained with him for 4 weeks now, and with his professional help, I loss over 15 ponds. I went to Turk and Ryan looking to gain muscle, tone up, and learn how to get a quick effective workout in (without spending 2 hours at the gym) and that's what I got! I trained with Ryan for 2 months and Turk managed my nutrition. I went for 30 minute sessions 3 days a week. It was hard for me to believe that 30 minutes 3x's a week would give me results but it did! I started seeing results shortly into training and started feeling better about myself as well! If you are looking for a team that is going to truly treat you as an individual and make a routine/plan that is custom to your success at your goals, these are the guys! Ryan is young, but don't let this deter you from going to him! He is extremely knowledgeable, motivating, friendly, organised, and a great teacher! I really appreciated the extra time he took to explain things to me so that I understood how different exercises worked and how to properly and safely do them. His schedule is also pretty flexible. I am a RN and work night shift so my schedule is crazy, but we were always able to make it work! Although my 2 months have ended I still try to stick to my routine the best I can on my own and I can hear Ryan's voice during my workouts saying, "Make it burn, let it burn! Turk and his staff have taken my training to an entirely new level. I race OCR's, Spartan racing specifically, and during the 6 months that I've been working with them I've seen drastic improvements to my overall race speed. Turk has designed specific workouts that focus on endurance strength and recovery for my legs while also improving my upper body strength for getting through grip strength intensive obstacles. The very first race I did after I started working out with him, I improved my 'Super' distance time by 22 minutes and improved my 'Sprint' distance time by 15 minutes.

I’m currently in my second month of training with Turk and I’ve been blown away with the results! In the first four weeks alone I lost almost 12 lbs of fat, put on 5 lbs of muscle, and saw a body composition change of over 5%! In addition to that my resting heart rate is significantly lower, my blood pressure is significantly better, and I wake up with more energy than I’ve had in a decade.

Eating: What’s amazing is that he showed me how to do that while still eating what I wanted - no crash diets, no starving myself to death. In fact on many days I ate more than I normally would have before (I just had some guidelines I had to adhere to). He spent an hour with me up front coaching me on how to approach the nutrition, has checked in on me repeatedly to see how my appetite is doing, and helped me make adjustments along the way.

Training: A really important aspect to me was to develop a new workout routine to help ensure I didn’t get injured. I used to lift a lot of weights in my twenties, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve come to realize that certain exercises I could do then result in injuires now. That made getting back into weights difficult because I would get started and then quickly get injured and stop. Wash, rinse, repeat. I asked Turk to help me develop a routine that would help me lose weight, build muscle, and keep me injury free. He took the challenge head on and I have to say I’ve never worked out with as much intensity in my life (including heavy weights) and I’m almost 2 months in with serious results and no injuries.

Motivation: One of my favorite things about Turk is that he is a fantastic motivator. He sets the bar higher than you think you could ever accomplish, pushes you past your limits, and then celebrates the wins with you. He’s passionate about training, deeply knowledgeable, and incredibly dedicated to helping you deliver the results you want.

Doing the Work: There are no shortcuts. You have to show up ready to push yourself past your limits to complete and total failure. If you aren’t ready to do that, I wouldn’t even bother calling. If Turk is committing to training you then he expects you to commit to the training. But, if you’re ready to make that commitment then get ready to be in the best shape of your life.

I have been a self dieter and fitness attemptor for the last 5 years but have never had a formal trainer or weight class. I started working out with Ryan Birdsong almost a month ago with the goal of body recompisition and together I’ve lost 7.5lbs of body fat while gaining 4 lbs of lean muscle (a change from 29% to just under 24% body fat).

Ryan has been fantastic to work with! He always has a great attitude, encouragingly pushes me during our workouts, and always checks in to see what questions I have and how things are going. I have been working out for about 6 years, and stuck at a weight that I could not get below no matter how hard I tried. it seemed like I was missing something.
