I was pleasantly surprised how much I loved my first aerial yoga class ever. Hannah guided me along the way, and she was extremely helpful in her teaching and support. As I am experiencing some pain with aging, I felt quite limber afterwards and found it therapeutic. Wrapping up into a cocoon shape during Savasana was a beautiful way to tap into connectedness.

Lotsie has created something truly special at Tula Movements. Not only did my daughter celebrate two very fun and successful birthday parties here with a welcoming and supportive staff, but Tula Movements and its yoga instructors breathed life back into me during one of the hardest seasons of my life. Almost a year ago, as I was navigating the heartbreak of divorce, it was the affordable childcare and safe, nurturing environment at Tula that gave me the chance to begin healing.
The staff and owner, Lotsie, held space for me in ways they may not even realize, and I will be forever grateful. Having that “alone time” to move my body, release pain, and feel held quite literally saved my life and well-being. I will always be thankful for Tula Movements, and if distance were not a factor, I would still be a member today. Thank you for everything.

Carolyn Candela's Rise and Shine flow at Tula Movement Arts has become my twice-weekly ritual that perfectly sets the tone for the rest of my week. Every Tuesday and Thursday, her classes offer the ideal blend of energizing movement and mindful practice.
What makes Carolyn exceptional is her warm, intuitive approach to teaching. She genuinely connects with students, offering personalized guidance while creating a welcoming atmosphere for practitioners of all levels. Her sequencing is thoughtful and intentional, gradually building from gentle wake-up movements to more dynamic flows that leave you feeling both energized and centered.

Tula Movement Arts is outstanding! They offer a variety of events and Yoga classes, some of which even include children and are family friendly. I found the studio to be quite breathtaking, particularly when the aerial silks are hung from the ceiling and the lights are dimmed. It's just beautiful. I have taken 2 Aerial Yoga classes so far with Tula, and they have truly been a gamechanger when it comes to my yoga practice. Nothing compares to being fully suspended. Talk about somatic movement!!
My teacher is a joy. She is obviously a veteran when it comes to this stuff, yet she's still so passionate and enthusiastic. She's very encouraging and patient with her class and that is really important when teaching people how to do things they've never done before. My first few times going completely upside down hanging from the silk were a little nerve-racking. I was afraid of either doing it wrong or falling on my face. Ginger stood right there with me and took the time to help position my feet correctly. Using a soft voice, she encouraged me the entire time until I was comfortable being on my own.
I am really happy that I found Tula Movement Arts and I plan on trying to commit to Aerial Yoga at least once a week moving forward! Thank you Tula & thank you Ginger. This class has become one of the things that I most look forward to throughout my week.

We love this yoga studio! They have so many amazing offerings for children and adults! My daughter very much enjoyed the cheerleading class and is excited to be starting aerial yoga this Fall! I love the instructors here and have enjoyed many of the adult classes. I attended a sound-bath cocooned in the yoga slings that was incredible- would love to see that offered again. New moon ceremony with Brooke was also amazing!

I signed up to the $39 new student special which offers Unlimited classes for 2 weeks. I used the Mind Body app to book classes whenever my schedule would allow, without being picky about what it was. I tried All Levels Flow, Heated Soulful Flow, 5 Element Yin Yoga, and Aerial Yoga. I hadn’t worked out in a long time, but I was so impressed by the range of classes offered and enjoyed them so much that I was motivated to attend almost every day, and sometimes twice a day!
Every instructor at Tula brings their own unique personality, teaching style and life experience to their classes. Two weeks in, and I’m feeling inspired and empowered. My body is stronger than it’s been in a long time, and I’m walking around with a greater awareness of my posture, muscles and my breathing. I’ve learned how to quiet my mind and listen to my body, and to put complete trust in the instructor.
The two studios are well-equipped, with all the stuff you’ll need, including mats, blocks, straps, blankets etc. There is parking and even childcare available. I’m grateful to Tula for offering new students this very reasonably priced window into their classes. I look forward to trying their workshops and retreats sometime. If you’re looking for a place to stretch and move your body, led by instructors with heart and skill, you’ll be in good hands with Tula!

Wednesday Therapeutic Yoga class was incredible. Was able to park in the lot, there are two doors and went into the one that says yoga in lights. The instructor and studio were extremely calming. She has a background in neuroscience and was able to explain the impact of being lulled into a state of theta waves as a part of the class. I loved that each class focuses on a different body part, this one was on hips. Very relaxing for someone that uses yoga more for mental workouts as opposed to physical workouts. Might have fall asleep by accident 😇

We had originally signed up our daughter for a class over the summer. Our plans unfortunately changed and we needed to cancel. They informed us that there was no cancelation policy at time of booking, but they were going to add it to web their web site after the fact. We understand the cost of doing business and offered for them to keep $50 for admin and merchant processing fees, even though with no policy set at time of sign up we should get a full refund. They offered a 40% refund with a credit you can use the other funds for future business. Be warned of shady business practices. They know they are illegally keeping the money, just trying to decide if small claims and my time is worth the $200.

Not very welcoming for beginners. Went through the different poses very quickly. I was hoping to have a relaxing session of stretching and learning, instead it was stressful and confusing. It would be nice if an actual beginner class was offered.

As an aerialist and mom, I can't recommend Tula enough. Their cleanliness, attention to safety, and all around feeling of a peaceful, inclusive community keeps me coming back for more. The owner, instructors, and other aerialists have always made me feel like I am welcome and supported, regardless of the other studios we've trained at. In addition, my kids love the classes, camps, and activities that are held at Tula. Unlike other places, they want to keep coming back for more! It is truly a safe space to be yourself, however that may be, and the community exudes kindness and safety in each individual practice.

I’ve taken classes and my daughter has participated in their camps. I’m impressed with their classes, instructors and their overall approach to handling the pandemic. When you see the leader growing themselves, you know the business is in the right hands. Tula is a top notch yoga studio!

We went to Tula Movement Arts today for an Aerial Yoga class taught by Lotsie and had the most fun! We were all beginners and Lotsie was very patient, funny and playful with us, which made it a fabulous experience. All five of us that went, plan on returning for further aerial yoga practice. Thank you Lotsie!

Tula movement arts is an awesome space with so much more than just yoga classes. My first class was a slackline course with Buddy. He is both a zen master on the line and an excellent teacher. He had me doing things I didn't even think I could do. He was able to help me learn a mount in 5 minutes that I had been working on for weeks. After my second slackline class they asked if I was coming to the jam that night. So I said sure. It was an open house where you can try out all the different equipment and play. Taylor took the time to introduce himself and invited me to try some acro poses with him. He is an excellent teacher and he helped me learn a couple different acro poses. Overall I just can't speak highly enough about the people at Tula. I was talking with one of the owners and he said he and his wife made this studio because they had so many talented friends and they wanted to make a place where they could do what they love. The sense of family really shines through. If you happen to run into Zeus at the door, don't be afraid, he is a sweetheart.
