The worst place they charged me with asking the place feels slimy I wanted to do laps but I course it was broken never have I ever less important when I walked in All they want is your money and they care nothing for people I hope no one goes to the place it has nothing to offer anyone would want to get in better shape I took a tour and I was not impressed and I felt rushed because the most important thing to those vultures is money definitely steer clear I was never impressed with anything they had to offer I was left waiting to be helped and felt stubbed when talking to the person was very cold and had no customer service experience it was a decent displeasure even going into the molding smelling place if I could give negative stars I would the place felt dead inside a walking corpse waiting to shut down I was told one price of 50 dollars a month and then it went up to 60 dollars within a few minutes the staff should wait a little while before fleeing customers but another reason the waste of space will be closing in less than 6 months I walked into excepting some pools but what I saw was a waste of time because they didn’t built an cover over the pools so you can use them year round a strip mall gym had more character then this place and better staffing

My family has been frequenting this gym for about 6 months now. The space is cleaner than most gyms I’ve been to in town, low wait times or no wait on equipment, supportive environment. Our kiddo loves going to the Childcare, never wants to leave, and the people working there have great communication and really seem to love what they do (just wish they were open Sundays now that school is back in session) The staff make you feel like family, the newly renovated pool is sauna are such a perk. Grateful for this new addition to the neighborhood and our routine.

Went in to check out the gym and had scheduled time to meet with a personal trainer, Randy. Showed up for my appointment and no one knew where he was, told me to go sit and wait in the lobby and I was never approached again. Waited about 15 minutes before leaving. Never heard anything from Randy about missing our scheduled appointment.

We've been a part of both Eugene and Springfield WCS. We've been using West Coast Strength for a number of years, and been with Springfield since it has been opened. My honest opinion is that they need some work. Yes, the gym equipment is nice and it's a huge facility, but they are lacking in the staff and training department. Most of the time there are many workers at the front desk, just sitting, yet the water fountains remain unclean with pink mold, and the bathrooms are often unclean as well. Paper towels run out often too. I have had to notify them of this on multiple occasions.
Another thing is the childcare. I'm not sure who hires for this, but they may need some work. There are male workers that are alone in there with the kids, which I think is a little odd, and a lot (not all) of them don't even act like they like kids or know how to handle them. A parent should not be called 4 to 5 times in a 2 hour time period to come talk to their kid cuz they threw a toy or wouldn't share. Serious stuff I get, but I pay money for childcare and the gym, so I want to be able to use it without being in the childcare room the whole time. Workers should be trained on how to manage children and stay off their phones.
The last thing is the sign up situation. I canceled my membership to go over to Eugene WCS only (highly recommend this gym!), and we got told all kinds of stuff that was inaccurate. We got told we were already canceled, which we weren't, then telling us we have to go to Eugene to cancel, which doesn't even make sense. They are trying to pad their numbers, and it's not great customer service to send people on a rat race like that!

Only drawback in my opinion is they need to open at 6am on the weekend. I get into a routine at 5am weekdays and then have to wait until 7 or 8 on the weekend is a pain.

I know a lot of people have been hearing about crunch… but I guess they haven’t been listening hard enough. This gym doesn’t make you read thin lines to scam you (not naming any gyms). They are all intellectually sound in lifting weights and professional, not to mention approachable and kind. They let you use chalk! Most gyms are secondary and don’t want you to succeed, so no chalk. There’s basketball, swimming if you want to keep off your joints and still burn calories. Come here! Not all the other secondary gyms …

After being told, my membership was canceled six months ago, I was continuously charged without any notification. After reaching out I received not a single call back in a month after being repeatedly told I would get one. It took me calling three separate times across two locations Over the course of a monthto even speak to a manager. The Thankfully, theEugene manager was able to help me and confirm that my membership had been canceled. The fact that it took six months and repeated calling from me when I was insured, I would receive a call back is disrespectful and Unacceptable when the membership is $50 a month. I will never be spending money here again, and I encourage those reading to take your business elsewhere.

As a traveling salesman, finding a gym that truly meets my needs has always been a challenge. Wear Coast Strength in Oregon is an absolute gem! Their facility is top-notch, with a wide variety of unique equipment that rivals my home bodybuilding gym. The day pass is reasonably priced, making it easy to stay consistent with my workouts on the road.
Now that I’ve discovered this fantastic gym, I’ll definitely be returning whenever I’m in Oregon. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality workout experience while traveling.

I am a local Gym owner myself… I do not need another gym membership, HOWEVER, I absolutely love West Coast in Springfield. First of all, Alex, the owner… He has been a friend/acquaintance for many years. He’s an incredible guy who started from scratch and has built his way up through hard work, discipline, and determination. Second of all, the atmosphere, the equipment, the cleanliness is exceptional. This is a place, I like to come with my whole family. My family plays basketball together, we lift together, and the kids like to sauna. It’s the best! I’m super thankful for what Alex has brought to Eugene/springfield. :)

I love this gym. Everything is new and very nice. That staff is great too. I’ve got zero complaints. The only 1-star review I saw is absolute craziness. First, I’ve gotten to know management well and know for a fact that lady was never yelled at. I also asked about the pool when I first signed up and was told they’d be working on it, but didn’t have an exact timeline. It needs a decent amount of work. Besides, outdoor pools aren’t even open in the Winter in this area. That review should be wiped.
