About the Club

Women's Boxing Int'l was created so women can feel comfortable boxing. Our vision is for every woman to see how boxing can be such a powerful force in their life, whether it’s to lose weight or to be reminded that they are stronger than they realize. A Women's Boxing Membership is a great option for those who want to start boxing regularly and weekly. Come learn how to box with us! We’ll spend four weeks together, 2x a week. We are starting at the basics of boxing, so if you’re brand new, that’s ok! We will be hitting heavy bags and water bags and working with partners to learn mitt work. You’ll also be doing some HIIT training that will all be focused on strengthening and conditioning.

After experiencing a profound, life-altering loss, I needed an activity that would help restore a sense of agency and provide an outlet for processing my grief. Boxing intrigued me but as a middle-aged, mostly sedentary, non-athletic female, I wasn't sure if I was a viable candidate. I reached out to Lisa and she assured me that her program was suitable for all ages and fitness levels. From my first lesson, I have been welcomed, encouraged, and supported by both coaches and fellow participants. Combining cardio, strength training, and boxing drills, it's challenging without being overwhelming. I leave each class feeling capable and eager to learn more. I only wish I lived closer so I could attend my than 1 class/week!

Cannot share enough good things about my experience over the years working with Coach Lisa! She has the unique ability to match you exactly where you are as a beginner or to help you level up no matter what level of skill you’re at. The other coaches that work alongside her are just as wonderful, and I have never felt so welcomed and encouraged and empowered all at once every time I join a session. I’ve never boxed before and had no clue what I was doing. I was so nervous trying my first class but Lisa and everyone there made me feel so comfortable right away. It’s a community of women all ages and skill and I love going. I’m so thankful I tried and I highly recommend this to any women out there whether boxing sounds fun or your just looking for a good workout.

I started with the Women’s Boxing program in January 20201 and it was the best decision I ever made! Not only am I getting a good workout—I’m learning a skill, self-defense and gained a community of amazing women. Finding time for yourself as a mom is HARD, but the pros outweigh the cons and taking these classes a few times a week has benefited me in so many ways, Couldn’t recommend taking the plunge enough!
