I’ve been boxing off and on for a long time in multiple cities, and 10 Hands has been by far my favorite place to box. First of all, the community is large and full of people who are interested in boxing and MMA but are also friendly folks. It’s also not dominated by a bunch of dudes, which is nice to see. The instructors are top-notch and willing to discuss technique, both in terms of offense and defense. Highly recommended for people who are looking to get fit, find community, and/or looking to learn combat sports.

Truly the best gym I’ve been to. The classes are well structured and challenging. I have made so much progress in the year I’ve been attending this gym. Randall really cares about teaching these classes.

If you want a clean, well equipped gym with supportive staff, awesome classes and fantastic exercise program variety, just stop in and join!

I did it on a whim… the staff is dope, the classes are challenging and in spite of being out of shape, I never leave feeling like I haven’t accomplished something meaningful!

Month 1: 10 pounds down and feeling stronger every day; yeah I’ll be coming back and bringing a friend!

10 Hands is one of the best gyms I've had the pleasure of visiting. There is a nice expansive yoga room. Heavy bags for training and a wonderful space to practice sparring in either boxing or kickboxing. I've learned a tremendous amount from every instructor. They are all friendly, accessible and truly dedicated to helping you become better. The community is wonderful, helpful and positive. This is a true gem (pun intended) in the fitness scene. Very grateful for all that they have given

Absolutely the best gym in Philly!

I can't say enough good things about this place. From the moment I walked in, the people are welcoming, and the trainers are on point. Whether you're a beginner or just trying to get in shape or a serious fighter training for a fight, this gym has everything you need.

The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely care about your progress. They push you hard, but in the best way possible. The workouts are intense, well-structured, and never boring. Especially, the morning HIIT workouts taught by Anthony of Philly Fitness Xperiment.

The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and has all the equipment you could ask for: weights, cardio machines, heavy bags, speed bags, a boxing ring, and more.

What really sets this gym apart, though, is the community. It’s a no-ego, non-toxic, all hustle environment where everyone supports each other. You walk out feeling stronger every time physically and mentally.

If you're in Philly and looking for a good boxing gym, HIIT classes, yoga classes, or just a good workout, this is it.

Good Trainers, But the Owner Sets a Toxic Tone. The trainers put in work, they know the sport, and they push you to be better. That said, good coaching doesn't excuse the toxic and discriminatory culture being enabled and that responsibility starts at the top.
I noticed I was treated differently than other members without reason. It wasn't about effort, performance, or attitude. It was clear that bias whether conscious or not was at play.
The owner creates an environment where certain people are welcomed and supported, while others are made to feel like outsiders regardless of their dedication or potential. That's not just bad business; it's unacceptable.
Boxing gyms should be places of strength, discipline, and growth for everyone. Until leadership changes their approach and takes accountability, this gym" continue to fall short of whatever it claims to stand for.

The best workout, without the phony soundtrack and “rara” squad or fake spiritual B.S. (don’t worry, I’m actually Indian and can say that)

Just put in work, and dip.

No cringe stuff… like other places

I’ve kickboxed for about 5 years and been an avid group fitness class enthusiast for about 9 years. No other gym has compared to 10 hands in terms of the effectiveness of the workout, the muscle and physique gains, and how much better I am learning to fight versus all the other gyms I have attended.

The secret sauce is in the impressive array of workouts (muay thai, boxing instruction as well as bag work classes and HIIT), all of which have upleveled my skills in a way I didn’t think possible.

I’ve attended boxing and kickboxing in many of the big chains and nothing compares in terms of actually teaching you how to fight without hurting yourself. And I have never been in better shape I my whole life, despite being an active person for most of my adult life.

I’ve been in gyms in many many cities both in the USA and around the world. Nothing, nothing, nothing comes close. Treasure this gym, Philly, it is truly a gem.

I am 53. I starting going about 2 1/2 months ago. I have gone to just the heavy bag boxing and kickboxing classes which are high intense 45-50 minute classes. I have lost 21lbs so far. I go about 3 times, occasionally 4 times per week. Its great because while its a class its your own bag and it helped me in the beginning to pace myself because I was very fat and out of shape. The best part is they have weekly billing option and I can pause and restart my billing if something comes up which is peace of mind I am not paying for something I may be forced to not use for a week or two.

I have been going to 10 Hands for about 10 months now and have nothing but great things to say. The owner, Randall, offers a variety of classes for people of all skill/fitness levels. The bag classes are an excellent way to get a great and fun workout. The skills classes are awesome if you want to learn fight techniques in boxing or Muay Thai. As a whole, 10 Hands is an inclusive environment that helps you get/stay in shape, while learning useful fight skills in the process.

There are a lot of options in Philadelphia for people to pursue their fitness goals. I spent years at different gyms trying to find a good fit until I discovered and committed to 10 Hands. Randall (owner) is a world champion in his craft and the dedication he poured into that achievement has bled into his training philosophy. I sincerely find myself more athletic and confident since joining this gym about 6 months ago. Additionally, there is NOTHING that this gym doesn’t have. There is ample weightlifting and cardio equipment along with boxing heavy bag areas and even showers, lockers, steam rooms, etc. If you want to step it up a notch the gym also offers HIIT classes and various instructional classes which dive into the specific techniques of striking. There have been some weeks where work and personal life is stressful and all I need is a place to hit a bag to some music in a room full of people doing the same. Sometimes I just opt to do a workout all by myself. While other times I find myself more dedicated to wanting to hone the craft of boxing and attend the instructional classes. This gym shines because it has an array of options for a reasonable price that you will not find in any other major US city. Lastly, I have met some great people through this that push me to be a better version of myself inside and outside of the gym, which I was not expecting coming into it. If you haven’t checked this place out, you’re seriously missing out.

My daughter-in-law (26) brought me (62?!) to 10 Hands yesterday for my very first Muay Thai (Thai-style kickboxing) class and it was great! 10 Hands is a hidden gem that you need to check out—because if you’re reading this, you’re probably looking for a place to work out, learn or spar that has all the equipment you need—and then some.

Arriving downstairs at the check-in desk, owner Randall introduced himself right away & was dialed-in to learning what brought me in, what I was looking for. An experienced fighter and a smart, encouraging and effective instructor, Randall is attentive to making both the more experienced people in the kickboxing class & the newbie feel challenged yet capable. And he has wide-ranging good taste in music. I get the sense that he tailors everything to the preferences & abilities of his students, with an eye to proper form & safety.

10 Hands is spacious and secure—and there are lockers in the dressing areas. The place is immaculate, and the equipment is diverse—with some machines & other equipment I’d not seen before. Although rather tired from the full-body workout of the muay thai class, we couldn’t resist trying out some of the other features. Fun!
Best yet: we came away happy and awoke energized the next day.
Go check it out!

Amazing gym with exceptional coaching. If you want not only a full-body workout, but also want to learn fighting techniques, take the instruction classes. I am a complete newbie, and Randall took the time to explain the how and why of each movement. The fellow students are very friendly too. 10 Hands is a encouraging and fun community. So glad to finally find a place that motivates my fitness journey.

Whether you are looking to get into combat sports, or just get into shape 10 Hands is the place to go. This gym strikes (pun intended) the perfect balance between commercialized boxing classes like rumble and individuals who take combat sports seriously. The owner Randall is extremely knowledgable and maintains a friendly, no judgement, atmosphere throughout the gym. Couldn't recommend 10 Hands enough.
