Easy choice for any type of gym goer!

I started going to ambition a little over a year ago and it’s been the easiest investment I’ve ever made into a gym membership. Couldn’t ask for a better environment to be in to get into shape.

The owner takes pride in his establishments and listens to feedback from every member. The gym already has almost every piece of equipment you could imagine, but if you personally give him feedback on something that could be added or could be better, he listens with purpose. Facilities are very clean.

I’d like to add that there is a good environment of members that are all there for the same purpose. To become better. All ages and different backgrounds are always welcome and things like people being inappropriate or too aggressive towards others are addressed quickly.

Highly recommended to anyone who wants a gym with top notch equipment and a good atmosphere.

I have been powerlifting for over 30 years at different gyms worldwide. Ambition is in my top five. The layout and equipment group are perfect. There is more than enough equipment and Kilo plates. The real thing that set the gym apart was the attention to detail. The owner maintains a clean gym. I would recommend the gym to anyone at any level.

I have been a huge fan of Ambition Gym since they first opened and was so excited to hear they expanded to Wilkes-Barre and even farther north now.

Ambition Gym offers a great environment for people at all levels and for all needs! I use the treadmills and other machines like that.

The owner, Dom, is so helpful and motivational. He is always receptive and answers questions when I need something.

My other favorite thing is the cleanliness. I have gone to a lot of gyms that stink, are gross, and just are not welcoming. This gym is always clean and neat.

Can't wait to see how it keeps growing and am so excited that they've added an outdoor section!

Ambition Gym hosts some really cool powerlifting meets and has a nice community here. Members get to know each other quickly and I’ve made some of my best friends here. Gym is clean and the owner is always respectful, he listens to member feedback and adds in new equipment, plus he’s making upgrades regularly. Nice aesthetics here as well, feels like a second home. It’s a new gym so I’m excited to see how this place grows over time.

I have been going to this gym for months now . If you’re interested in bettering yourself this is the place to be. People are great here, as well as staff and they have every machine you can wish for and it’s 24 hours as well! The owner went above and beyond today, when I left my wallet at the gym the previous night, he got in contact with me over email to make sure it gets to me safe and sound. There is no better gym than this in the valley !

Ambition Gym 570 is by far the best gym around. I don’t live locally around that gym, but the membership/drive is worth it to be able to work out at that facility and in the environment. The staff are all friendly and super knowledgeable. The owner always does a great job in meeting his members needs, and having a gym with supportive and encouraging wall decor and designs. The equipment is top notch and durable. Also, the owner, members and staff are all very encouraging/supportive to all members whether you have a basic question, need a spot, or need help with something. It’s a gym that brings everyone together as one no matter whether you’re a power lifter, body builder, or just looking for general fitness gains.

Amazing gym, reasonable price, majority of equipment is brand new, owner and staff is incredible, owner has purchased several pieces of equipment suggested by members. This gym is NOT just for powerlifters, but for anyone no matter age, gender, or lifting style preference. Everyone is extremely welcoming and there is such a warm atmosphere present. I have had memberships at Dankos All American Fitness, Browns Gym, and Crunch Fitness and this gym tops them all. There is a variety of machines and equipment and anything you are looking for is more than likely there. The owner is also ALWAYS offering deals, just keep a look out on the instagram page!

I tried out Ambition Gym on their 7 day trial. I met the owner Dominic who gave me a tour and explained their current sale, $29.99 if I signed up on the spot with a one year contract. I explained that I wanted to give the gym a try first. He said that if I decided to sign up later, it would be at the regular price of $49.99. The facility itself is clean and organized. The gym is on the smaller side with it being a single open space. They have limited equipment so you’ll be waiting on equipment during peak times. All the staff were polite. The equipment is better than average with an emphasis on powerlifting and bodybuilding. They also have strongman equipment.

During my trial I asked if I was allowed to workout without a shirt. The woman at the front desk said that other members do and as long as I’m neat about it, i.e. clean up after using the machines, it would be okay. She later approached me and told me that the owner was watching the cameras and called her to tell me I needed to put a shirt on. She was apologetic and very nice about it. It was nonetheless questionable that the owner watches the cameras when there is already an employee working the gym. While I understand and respect their rules, it is also disappointing considering this is supposed to be a gym that caters to powerlifting/bodybuilding.

In terms of value, unless you specifically need calibrated plates, IPF certified bars, or IPW certified bars, there are better options for the premium. I feel that for the average lifter such novelties are unnecessary and difficult to justify the premium. If you are into competitive powerlifting then maybe this might be the gym for you. Other local gyms run close to or less than the standard $49.99 and some include pools, courts, larger facilities, reciprocal use of other locations, guest passes etc.

The price for a monthly membership of about $30 a bucks for a 24/7 gym is awesome.
