Zachary Elfman, local business owner, personal trainer, level 1 weight lifting coach, TRX certified, powerlifting coach, exercise recovery specialist, loving father, son and friend. Being an athlete myself, having my own gym to help others is great. I have been extremely fortunate to work with hundreds of athletes from NCAA, high school and youth athletes. Above all i believe in delivering and amazing experience for all athletes. Personal fitness gym located in Springfield. Our gym is great for beginners or former athletes looking to get back into or stay in shape. We also offer online training to reach your goals

When I came to 610fitness, I was nervous b/c I had primarily been doing only cardio. Had a chance to stop in and speak with the owner, Zack. He really put my mind at ease and was so welcoming. My first class was Barbella Club and it delivered! Not only was I cheered on and supported, I had Zack there and Meg to help me along with my form. If you’re looking for a gym then look no further. I highly recommend 610fitness. I’m so glad to belong here.

I never thought that I could stick with going to the gym since I have had failed attempts in my past; however, 610Fitness provides a completely different atmosphere than a typical gym. Zack and Meg, along with the other members, make the experience enjoyable and fun without it feeling like a chore. I have been actively going for almost 2 years now and my health and confidence have improved drastically. Not to mention that I also gained friends in both the trainers and members who all keep you motivated, confident, and strong. If you are looking for a laid back gym that feels more like a home then a building, come work out with a great group of people.

I began looking for a gym about 4 months ago. I was 8 months post kidney-transplant surgery and wanting to get stronger as well as continue my weight loss journey. I was searching for a gym that wasn’t overwhelming, offered personal training services, and didn’t make me feel “less than” because I was a “newbie”. Additionally I needed a clean environment due to being on immunosuppressant drugs. I found all this and more at 610 Fitness. Every person that I have encountered has been welcoming and supportive. It’s been two months, and I’ve lost inches, but more importantly I’ve grown noticeably stronger. If you’re looking for a supportive environment that will push you to achieve, this is the place for you!

The owner was terribly crude and spoke disgustingly of women. He talked about how he believed he could get the heavier women in his gym to please him because they had low self esteem. He is paying people to promote to women already facing self esteem issues because he knows how to abuse and target them. I promise you, even if you’ve had one or three good experiences, you are giving your money to a horrible man who doesn’t actually intend to improve your fitness but prefers degrade you behind your back. I unfortunately was a cheery female that was too shy to say I was uncomfortable when he would share and one too many times got stuck hearing him pride himself on his conquering abilities and Crude assumptions of the women that come to his facility and it’s disgusting. Do not recommend supporting this business.

Amazing place to get a Upper, Lower, or Full Body workout. The staff is professional, kind, patient and understanding. AMAZING GYM!!!! I have been a gym rat for more than half my life, and after a long search, I finally found the gym I was looking for!!! At 610fitness, you get personal training every time. The classes are fun, and you truly feel the workout. I'm comfortable knowing that the trainers are professionally trained and make sure every time that you are using proper techniques.
There are many different training opportunities available at this gym, and the owner Zack is flexible and does his best to make the gym work for you. I joined 610 fitness because I wanted something (specifically classes) to work with my busy schedule. I am not a person to go to the gym by myself so the 6am class is perfect! It gets me up and moving in the morning and holds me accountable. Plus, if I miss the 6am class, I can easily go to the 6pm class! Zach and Meg are super helpful and motivating. Hands down, one of the best decisions I’ve made, is training at 610fitness. It is full of trainers and fellow gym goers who make me actually want to go train. I look forward to walking through the doors and always feel amazing when I leave. Over the years, I have joined numerous gyms, but nothing took. I’ve been going to 610fitness for just over 2 years now. I’ve met with my personal trainer, Zack, twice a week since I’ve started and recently picked up taking the group classes an additional 2 days about 3 months ago. Zack’s expertise and guidance has helped me make permanent life changes for better long term health. Personal training gives you motivation to continue training. Some weeks it is hard to stay motivated, Zack always holds me accountable and keeps me moving. Zack is a continual student and teacher always bettering his knowledge and putting into action the benefits of his learning through his fitness program and communications. He pushes me hard to get me to my goals. I work harder and longer only because of his inspiration. Among many, one of Zack’s strengths is providing a program that never gets old or stale. He has the capacity of changing things up and always making the workouts interesting as well as challenging. 610fitness has helped me strengthen parts of my body I thought would always be sore. Since coming here my ache’s and pains have disappeared. 610fitness’ new location is convenient, clean and equipped with everything you could need along your fitness journey. Zack’s passion for fitness and helping people is palpable when you walk through the door. No other trainer or gym owner cares more about their clients and members then Zack does! It is an atmosphere unlike any gym I’ve ever been to. I wholeheartedly recommend 610fitness for your health and fitness journey, no matter if you are just starting out or you are a seasoned lifter that is seeking more progress and new pr’s. 610fitness has something for everyone. Zack is an ultimate professional who absolutely loves what he does. He takes your fitness very seriously. He does a consultation and customizes your work out to the areas YOU want to get fit. He lets you jam out to the music that you love. He also has great information about eating a healthy diet. One thing that I love is that he always asks how you are feeling after a few reps (Is this too much weight? How does your back feel with this exercise?)
