The objective of this review is to post both pros and cons through my personal lenses. However, the critiques are weighed and affirmed by either the staff or other locals.

Pros: I explained to Jay (an employee) some special circumstances and he showed me a lot of empathy by helping extend my guest pass. His compassion and interpersonal skills were the highlight of my experience at AAFH. The basketball courts are hardwood and the workout area is almost always empty. I appreciated those things. Price $55 compared to $265? is decent.

Concerns: It’s a fieldhouse, so don’t expect pools or showers. (Maybe one day?) But it’s designed for play and practice. I hope to someday play flag football the turf. Hard to find pick-up game of basketball if you’re looking for that kind of thing. I had a difficult run-in with one member of the staff. He (or she) might want to try softer with guests. The sharpness is a bit jarring.

I was very disappointed to see how filthy this complex is. Looks like it hasn’t been cleaned for years. Bags of empty chips, food, ketchup stains on the floors, dusty and the front desk staff act like they hate their jobs. I cancelled my membership and will go somewhere clean and friendly.

Basketball tournament this past weekend. First day of tourney, floors were noticeably dirty, kind of overlooked it because first game was mid afternoon. But the next day we played the first game and it is confirmed...they didn't clean the floors at all. Same splash marks from the evening prior, like drinks were spilled and left to dry, footprints, etc. Such a nice facility, a very poorly maintained.

Facility is descent for volleyball as there is tons of space for the girls to play and parents to watch. The restrooms are very old and you could tell they had not been cleaned recently! The worst part was the concession stand as there was only one person working and with the amount of people it took over 45 minutes to get thru the line. When you are on a time frame to play your next match you cannot wait that long!!!

I’ve had nothing short of an amazing experience every time I walk into All American. The staff here is so friendly and they truly go above and beyond to make sure your needs are met. Especially Frank!!

I recently moved to a new area and I truly long to have this gym apart of my everyday routine again. It’s been my favorite gym to go to in the Pittsburgh area not only because of the equipment but because of the large turf area as well.

If you’re looking to join this gym — please do! You won’t regret it at all. They’re awesome!

The gym is okay. When you walk in, the front desk is not very welcoming. The gym itself has a nice layout of equipment. However, as you step closer into the building the gym is dirty/ and has dust without any proper sanitation. Also, from my own curiosity; I asked the manager if we can bring guests upon having a gym membership, within the establishment. He told me “no”. However, I am witnessing there are babies, children or extra guests, being allowed into the fitness center around the equipment. I just did not find that appropriate or a fair representation. Thank you.

Horrible place in my opinion. Only good for the little league teams probably outside of the fitness/weight room area. It really does genuinely need a lot of improvement . The best things are probably the turf and free weight. Without that…I doubt anyone would use their fitness facility. Even my brother is a D1 athlete and was disgusted. I was so excited to start coming here but time after time the front desk staff on average can’t answer basic questions and constantly on the phone or straight up lazy. I’m not even being negative, I’ve spoken to multiple people that have complained about this same issue. Some of the equipment is always missing and the cleanliness is almost nonexistent it’s disgusting. There are no signs up as a reminder for everyone to wipe down machines and to make matters worse, they have one spray bottle and a rag that I swear they haven’t changed since I’ve started going there. There is no locker room and the bathrooms are often filthy. It’s honestly the details that make a gym experience comfortable and I am NEVER comfortable there.

Played in a softball tournament this weekend at this facility. Needless to say our pitchers struggled with the lack of a secure pitching mound. The “carpet” they had down kept buckling up and sliding as the girls went into their pitching motion. We asked multiple times for someone from the facility to correct this issue, however it fell on deaf ears. $500 for a tournament, $5 per person outside coaches and players and they can’t even afford to secure the pitching mound.

I just recently signed up for the fitness plan only. I come in to use the treadmill and the exercise bike at 8:30am and everything is filthy! There were candy wrappers in the drink holders and some other nasty stuff, one machine still had someone’s empty drink bottle so no way they’ve been clean. I asked someone else who was working out if we clean the machines ourselves and her response was “uhh they never have any cleaning supplies, I asked the same question” I’m very big on sanitation especially in gyms or places where multiple people are using the same equipment

I purchased four private basketball lessons for my grandson. The dates were scheduled. When we showed up Coach Dave was not available for the private lesson the schedule they tried to push him into a group lesson. The next pre-scheduled lesson the coach didn't show up at all . At 60 dollars a lesson I will be requesting a refund. He was also scheduled for flag football on Saturday. The lesson was from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m. they were dismissed at 3:30 with no explanation. When questioned no one seemed to know what was going on. This place is a joke

I was lied to and disrespected. I called and was told with a $55 membership I would have full access to their facility. I specifically inquired about the batting cages and was told they'd be included with the $55 membership that was "full access". I then visited in person and toured the place. I was told again while viewing and pointing at the cages they would be included with my membership. I paid the $55 and was so excited I brought my father a few days later to sign him up as well as we were in need for a local training facility for our upcoming Baseball Camp. When trying to use the facility for the first time, an employee (who did not identify himself) saw us come in with baseball gear and launched on us. He used an aggressive and confrontational tone and raised his voice, telling us we cannot use their cages. It was like he was chomping at the bits to confront us. Keep in mind we did not speak first to this individual. He saw us with our gear and verbally harassed us. He didnt explain anything and kept barking that we couldn't use the cages, even though an employee told us otherwise. We asked a few questions then left, feeling awkward, confused, and ripped off. In hindsight I wish I did not give them $55 and I feel anxious ever trying to return to this place. After this ordeal, my wife, who purchased the membership for me as a gift, called to inquire why they were not fulfilling their agreement. She was given the runaround by "Jeremy" who told her he wishes he knew who the employee was that talked to us in the manner in which he did. There were 3 employees working at the front at the time of the incident (just 2 hours prior to my wife's phone call) so it wouldn't be hard to figure out.

We were able to hold a very successful event at the All American Fieldhouse. It was our first time being there. We've already booked for next year! John and his staff were amazing. One if the best we've ever worked with! Communication was great. John made everything very easy for us as event producers. He and his staff were incredibly efficient and attentive to our every need. I'd rate All American five stars, however their current renovation project was cause for some concern. When completed, there won't be any facility nearby that could compare! We're so very lucky to have found the All American Fieldhouse!
