I have access to almost every gym in the area and I’m finding myself often driving past others to come to Ark. The gym has a nice selection of equipment with many good pieces that you won’t find anywhere else in the area. It is a great place for newbies as well as the most experienced. The people are what make Ark most special though and the community feel is real. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. If you live in the Mechanicsburg area, Ark is the place to go!

Noah & Hannah are awesome and very nice people!! They keep the gym clean and are always welcoming people when guests walk into the gym. The gym is a really nice and has lots of nice new Prime equipment. The posing room is awesome with different lighting and mirrors front and back. They have a nice option of smoothies, snacks, supplements and protein powder. The staff is really friendly and helpful! I know I hear people complain about not enough bathrooms, locker rooms, parking, and how hot it gets in the gym sometimes. But Noah and Hannah always try their best to make it accommodating for everyone. It is an old one story furniture warehouse so there’s only so much you can do. Overall I love coming to Ark and Noah, Hannah and the staff are awesome people!! I wouldn’t drive 20-25 minutes to a gym unless if it’s a nice gym that stands out compared to other gyms and has great staff. If you’re in the Mechanicsburg area I highly recommend checking Ark Fitness out!!

I visitedtoday as a member's guest and was impressed by the experience. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the equipment was well-maintained with plenty of options for all types of workouts. One of the standout features was how spacious the gym felt, not overcrowded, which meant I could move through my routine without waiting for machines. I changed gyms to come here from a Planet Fitness. The equipment is so much better and availability of machines/cables/weights is rarely an issue for me. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Hannah, the female owner and her husband, Noah through a mutual friend when I needed a gym to film content for a product launch I was doing. Good equipment and a nice place to workout, however there is dust all over the place, anytime I set something on the floor I get dust all over it when I go to pick it up. Also have overheard staff talking bad about members multiple times which doesn’t create a very good atmosphere or a good look for the gym. But it is nice that it’s not just and you can usually get a good workout in uninterrupted.

This is the best gym in Central PA. Very clean. Not overly noisy. Everyone is appropriately dressed. Most equipment is open when you need it, and the amount of people never feels suffocating. I used to workout at Crunch but it was so overcrowded I had to change my workouts every single day. Ark happens to be right down the road from me and my friend from college is a trainer here (Malaki is the most knowledgeable person in the gym hands down) I literally have only been 3 times since I just joined but feel inclined to leave a review already. This place is freaking amazing I have no other words. I have never seen equipment like theirs, they’re so welcoming to all the members, the lighting is awesome, posing room is super nice, I don’t have to wait for a machine, their attachments are unique, the place is clean, and best of all, I believe the owners are Christians. Some of the faith based stuff really encourages me because the two greatest things in life are God & the gym, ha ha! Only thing I’ll add: locker rooms or extra bathrooms would be great so I don’t have to feel bad for taking forever to change into my gym clothes…… But thank you Ark Fitness for your existence, I’ll be praying God sustains your business and blesses you through it!

Today is Thanksgiving and I am truely so thankful to be a part of the Ark Family. This review is long overdue, Ive been a member at so many gyms in my lifetime and it’s definitely hard to put into words how amazing this place is. Starting with the owners, Noah and Hannah. They are so genuine, they do so much good for the community and deserve all the flowers. When you walk in through the door, they go out of their way to greet you by your name which is impressive In itself. I don’t just feel like a gym member, I really do feel like a family member.

I personally go at 5:30am every day, before work, and am greeted every morning by a staff member named Ron. Simply put, there is no better way to start my day then walking in and saying good morning to him. He is Uncle Ron, and I’m very grateful to know him. His presence is naturally motivating and you don’t find that a lot these days.

The equiptment they invested in is absolutely incredible. If you aren’t familiar with “Prime Fitness” look it up. From my knowledge, No other gym in the area has PF equipment. It’s an absolute game changer and worth all the hype. I don’t remember the last time I had to wait to use anything either, because theirs so much variety. And I’ve also never come across anyone who wasn’t inviting me to work in sets with them. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Such a great community. The trainers with NGPT are all top notch as well, and are always there to help with any kind of questions, even if you aren’t paying them.

Last thing I want to touch on is the cleanliness. Everything is always so clean, the bathrooms are clean and weirdly always smell good. There is sanitizer and disinfectant spray in every corner of the gym, And as someone who has turned into a “Post Pandemic Germaphobe” these little details are very important to me.

ARK fitness is less than 2 min from my house, and as long as they remain open. I will forever be a member and I will forever be an advocate for them.

If I could give ARK Fitness 10 stars, I absolutely would. Even though I don’t want the gym to ever get over crowded like some other places in the area, I reccomend them without hesitation.

With people like Noah, Tori, Randy, Brock, Steven, my man Jack, the list goes on. From the moment I walked in, Randy is a shot of caffeine first thing in the morning. Pure energy and push. Noah and Tori will be the same at lunch time. Jack is a walking advertisement, when I saw him I had to ask what gym he went to. He put me on. Brock and Steven are knowledgeable and patient coaches. You have goals? They have pathways. Always positive vibes, always smiling and simple to sign in and leave. I left the area for work and will always cherish this gym for growth, respect, and community. The music is at the right volume, and the refreshments are in point. Although they have a solid gym, they’re still expanding it to make it somehow better! New equipment coming in, equipment keep is great, and community involvement with central PA is spot on. This gym is for the casual gym goer up to the serious bodybuilders. I wish yall nothing but the best.

I have the pleasure of calling ARK FITNESS my workout gym 5 days a week. You will feel like family. Ron greets you as soon as you step through the doors. It’s a very warm welcome. Definitely not something you’ll find at a box gym. This gym is hands down the best around. It’s close to my apartment so when it’s nice I love walking here. Love coming to Ark fitness! Everyone is very friendly and the gym equipment is up to date. The employees and members are all very friendly, it makes it a great atmosphere to come work out and not feel self conscious. They also have a smoothie bar that makes delicious smoothies. Making the switch to ark was a great decision, I don’t feel like just another patron like at other gyms. Ark cares about their members. I would just mention that they don’t have a full sized locker room to change and shower if that is something you’re looking for in a gym.

I have a permanent injury that I'm trying to overcome. It's doable but time consuming. Brock, the owner of the personal training section, has the knowledge I need to get me back to functionality. If my trainer doesn't know, he/we ask Brock. The atmosphere here is just fantastic for someone who can't deal with the "typical" gym attitude. Even when it's crowded, it never feels that way. People are always willing to let others work into machines that are being used. I'm not really an easy person to get to go to someplace like this regularly, Even though I know I'm screwed if I don't. There is NOTHING about Ark Fitness that discourages me from wanting to go. Quite the opposite, actually. They were recommended to me by my physical therapist who was working on me after my accident. He even goes here.

I have always hated going to the gym, I’m a plus size girl that felt self-conscious and uncomfortable anytime I went to any gym. Whether that was a planet fitness or top of the top. I’m getting married in 2025 and knew that I had to do something about myself. My mother’s coworker gave me the contact of a trainer at Ark Fitness. I started to enjoy being there, because everyone there made me feel like they wanted me to be there. After a couple months, my dad had passed and they were extremely understanding and helpful. I knew I had just started, but my trainer paused my sessions with her and my gym membership until I felt comfortable to come back. Knowing that I had this other family waiting for me was a great feeling. When I started back up, and since then, I have liked getting up early in the morning to go in and get my workout done and see everyone’s bright faces. I recommend this gym more than any other because they truly make you feel like you should be there and that they want you to be there. They also have the best of the best trainers that truly want you to succeed!!!

I LOVE Ark Fitness!! Contrary to popular belief- I really don't like lifting. Let's be real- Its freaking HARD!!! And there are days I REALLY don't feel like working out. But, I go and I do it. Hands down, Ark is absolutely my favorite local gym! The facilities are fantastic, clean, maintained, diverse, and there's duplicates of the machines most in demand. The staff however, elevate things to a whole different level. They are friendly, kind, caring, and make an effort to know everyone that comes through their doors. The people there, meaning other patrons, are also great. Helpful and friendly but not intrusive. Ark has a wonderful smoothie bar and the rotating flavor of the month choices keep it interesting. They also have a variety of protein items at reasonable prices so you can try it before you order a big pack. The only negative I can say is the lack of showers. All in all, I'd recommend this gym above any of the others in a 25-mile radius. It's my favorite gym and I wish I lived closer! Could not reccomend higher for anyone at any fitness level.

my 9 year old son had a rough baseball tournament in july where he didn't get to play. it was really tough on his confidence. i wanted to teach him about hard work to reach goals instead of whining to the coaches. lifting weights could be part of that since he's on the smaller side. i couldn't find a gym that would take kids his age. home equipment is expensive and the guy at york barbell blew us off.

ark fitness welcomed us with open arms. they have been nothing but supportive, motivating, and professional. i don't know how they remember our names. they took a chance on us because most kids just screw around in places like this and parents are nowhere to be found to straighten them out. going to the gym has become one of evan's favorite things to do. i've seen his confidence blossom just in the 4-6 weeks we've been going.

one of my favorite dad moments ever will be when evan saw his name hitting #2 in the batting order for his fall baseball team. he said, "dad...i made my goal". i'm looking forward to ark fitness being part of lots of goals he sets for himself in the future...and not just related to sports since fitness is critical to so many parts of our lives.

Becoming part of the Ark family was one of the best decisions I have made for myself. I never feel psyched out to go to the gym due to the friendly, laid back atmosphere and a lot less crowded than those other places…. even when the parking lot looks packed! My son enjoys going there as well. We always feel welcomed, even when life (germs) happen and we miss a few days or a week of coming… I truly feel no judgment from this establishment at all. This is an open floor gym concept that makes it nearly impossible to be waiting around for equipment or fighting for your own space. There is a smoothie bar and great selection of drinks which makes it great for at the end of a workout when you’re on the go.

Equipment:
Brand new, name brand. Equip to fit all your fitness needs as stated below:
-3 different areas of free weights
-a deadlift platform with variety of bars including straight bars, hex bar, and open hex bar
-2 squat racks with straight bars and safety bar
-3 chest press benches
-too many cable machines to count with A TON of adaptors
-a variety of machines to meet every muscle
-Rowers
-Meets all cardio needs with ellipticals, bikes, treadmill, and stair masters
-Turf area that great for finishing off leg day with lunges or for using the TANK machine (check it out)
-What’s even better? This is most likely to expand because they are always buying new equipment.

STAFF:
Hannah and Noah are the two most single greatest people to be in this business. They are genuine, nonjudgmental, and optimistic. Through this they have been able to create a home like gym environment that makes you want to go to the gym. The group of trainers are absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend grabbing a few sessions no matter where you are in your fitness journey. They are so knowledgeable and always have some great trips to share! They also emphasize the importance of community through sponsoring small businesses in the area.

If you’re serious about your health and fitness needs there’s no other place I would go. You won’t get this value in a gym anywhere else in the area. THIS PLACE IS WORTH EVERY PENNY.
