I checked out Athena mobility and strength at the suggestion of a friend. I was having difficulty with my balance and pain in my lower back. Megan and Meghan tailored exercises specifically to my needs. My balance and strength have improved tremendously, and my core strength has improved so much that I can now walk around town without trekking poles. A clientele of young women, older women (I am 82), and some brave men are learning how to strengthen our bodies and increase mobility in a welcoming and fun environment. Check it out. You will be glad you did.

I sought out Athena after an injury/surgery to get some guidance to be able to be physically active without hurting myself, and the experience has been life-changing. I have learned so much about how to work with my body and how to exercise. Megan and Meghan have helped me reshape my relationship to movement that has extended outside the gym.

Megan and Meghan are amazing! I came to Athena because I wanted to "get stronger", but I have learned in my time there that there's more to it than just that. Having not come from a "gym" family and not having experience with regular workouts, strength is only ONE of my gains. Their focus is on ALL of you! Both spend the time with you one-on-one to prepare you for the group workouts, which still feel like personal training sessions as the groups are not usually bigger than 4. They listen to you and alter your workouts to you: your fitness goals, your physical limitations, and your current capability. ( I say "current", because after you've worked with them that's sure to rise!) Grateful for this place.
