if i could rate this gym higher i would. this gym has been my home for 6 seasons. and from day one ive been there non stop. from being in a barn with a single mat to know being in a gym with two mats. ive known the coaches and gym owner my whole life and i dont know what id do with out them. this gym isnt only successful but is also just an amazing place. since my dads review in 2021 i've won cheersport spirit cheer and a ton more. the people there arent only teammates they are my family i dont know what id do without them. ive been through great seasons full of winning and bad seasons with not so much luck but no matter what they never give up on us. ive never loved a gym so much like i do celebrity. no matter what mental block or stressful thing i was going thru (mostly mental blocks) they always always always encourage me to try my best. i know some people have some not so nice reviews and thats just because they didnt get their way. and im sure there be many more reveiws just like it. there is no place like celebrity ❤

5 star program with 5 star athletes and coaches. My girls have been with the program since season 1. I have had the privilege to watch this program win championship banner after championship banner, from US Finals, to Cheersport, NCA, and D2 Summit. since originally writing this review 4 years ago, while i was still an athlete for celebrity cheer. they have now chosen to respond to me.. please note that i was not under the age of 10 and i was 13-14 throughout the time i was within that program. not only that, but i did cheer for a neighboring program shortly after and then realized i was no longer interested in competition after what i endured. my original post was made after my official ending of competitive cheerleading. 4 years later i can still stand on the fact that ive never been in a more negative and catty environment. ive cheered on countless teams and none have created the mental blocks and drama for me as this team did. i’m not here to tear anyone down as i believe experiences can be versatile, but do know and be aware of what you’re putting your time, money, and effort towards, as well as who you’re letting your children watch and learn from as role models. thank you.

My daughter spent 2.5 years at another elite cheer gym before we came to Celebrity and I wish we had made the move sooner!! My daughter went from leaving competitions with her old gym in tears frustrated and broken not understanding why she poured her heart and soul into her team yet they were getting 5th, 6th, 7th place to being on a team that consistently wins, and if they don't, the coaches at Celebrity build them up, change things and make it possible the next time! Where to start??? When I see my granddaughter love something so much it makes me realize that cheering has been nurtured in her by an amazing celebrity family. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable about the sport. They encourage the girls to work hard but they also have fun!!! No one can put a price on how the girls grow and master skills to make them competitive. When attending competitions we are loud and so supportive of the girls no matter what level at which they are performing.

I have two daughters in this program. My first daughter started out on the half year team 3 seasons ago after cheering on a rec team, and fell in love with all star cheer right there. Now going into her 4th season with Celebrity, idk where we would be without this gym. My youngest daughter has been apart of the tiny program for the past two years, and always looks forward to the days she is at the gym. The coaches are so patient, kind, and understanding of all kids and their learning styles. Both of my girls attend privates, clinics, open gyms, and classes at the gym. ALL of the coaches and tumbling instructors put their hearts and souls into all of the athletes that walk through the doors. My oldest daughter was extremely shy and closed off when she started at Celebrity Cheer 3 years ago, and now this gym is my families second home. They have built so much more than just cheer skills. They have so many long lasting friendships- that feel more like family to us all now. We are so appreciative of Celebrity Cheer, and so thankful to have found a gym/cheer-home like theirs! 💛

I have been around this organization for 4 seasons. My granddaughter cheers for them. I have nothing but good things to say...the coaches are very good---tough and demanding but in a kind way. After all, this is all star cheer and there should be high expectations. I've watched the coaches tirelessly give it their all. I've watched students give it their all. We just finished our first year with celebrity and have registered for season 5. It’s a large commitment that you have to be aware of coming in. I think this is why some people don’t make it. You are investing in your child’s overall growth and progression in a sport and committing to a team that relies on your child. If you are ready to go all in for your child then you will be thrilled with what they offer here. Life comes with accountability to teams, jobs, commitments and the girls are taught the importance of that. I’ve seen my daughter grow majorly as a person and athlete. Her skills have soared and she has developed confidence, social skills, respect, accountability. She wants to be there and put in 100% for her team and program. My girls have been with Celebrity since Season 1. Amber, Bethany and the crew of coaches have worked hard for the last four years to build this thing up out the mud! If you were there in Season 1, you would know I'm speaking facts! To end Season 4, 5 teams went to the D2 Summit In Florida, one of the returning squads moved from top ten in Season three at same said summit to top 4 this past run. If you can understand that type of achievement then you should be able to begin to understand why Celebrity Cheer is a great place for your cheerleader to Excell and achieve their goals of being in the top tier of competition cheer dreams. We are heading into my daughter’s 3rd year cheering at Celebrity. She left competition dance to join the competition cheer world. Not only has my daughter found a home, but so have I. My daughter has flourished in this program; gaining skills as she takes privates as well as practicing with her team. My daughter started out with zero cheer experience and the coaches helped her gain confidence as a flyer as well as a tumbler. This is truly my girls second home! We’ve been here since before day 1. I can say we have a saying just because you can doesn’t mean you should……a lot of the negativity is due to people not understanding all star cheer/how placements work. My daughter was with Celebrity for 2 years. The first year with them was so unorganized. This past season was a little bit more organized but I lost all respect for the 2 owners/coaches. These two owners are not good for kids mental health. They have their favorite team and go above and beyond for that team. The rest of the teams they coach don’t get the same treatment.
My daughter wasn’t allowed to compete in the first competition because we drove 3 hrs to VA to visit her grandfather in the hospital because the doctors said he most likely wouldn’t make it because he was bleeding out and couldn’t stop it. She missed a practice during competition week which I understand but have a heart it wasn’t like she was having a fun day. My daughter sprained her ankle during practice in October and we had her doing Physical therapy for a few months it started getting better until she hurt it again at practice. Her one coach told her to get up, you’re fine you’re just faking it. I wish she was faking it so she wouldn’t be facing a possible surgery that could take as long as 13 months to recover. These coaches yell at the girls for a mistake right after competing. Oh and then you have a group of parents that have formed a close bond that they don’t accept those that aren’t on the same team as their child. They make fun of other cheer moms on another team within the club. Argue about saving seats for competition, where other teams just look at them and laugh. Before the owners can respond to this review I have all text messages from them which will show the truth of my review. I would love to state that the coaches never removed my child off the team. My daughter on her own decided she did not want to come back to Celebrity after this season. Another showing that these owners are liars. The owners say what you want to hear.

As our family gears up for Season 3, we couldn't be happier with how our family's inaugural season is ending! Celebrity Cheer was the best decision for two of our daughters and I'm blown away with the progress they have made (confidence, tumbling, and stage presence) in just one short season. My girls made friends, came home as champions, and most importantly, were loved and cheered on the entire Celebrity Cheer family - coaches, staff, fellow teammates, and the best parent fans. Owners need a course on leadership, good sportsmanship and social grace. After 3 observations at events, it's clear they are more invested in feeding their own egos than teaching the next generation of competitive cheerleaders the skills, perseverance, integrity and social etiquette, which should be their primary purpose.

We have been at celebrity cheer for two years and we have no complaints about the staff or program. I’ve always shared my concerns with the coaches if any arise and we have always worked through them. They always have the kids backs and treat them as their own. A coach spoke to my child inappropriately and negatively and they were promptly removed from their program as they do not tolerate that. They are a great program to be a part of !

My daughter attended a tumbling /stunt clinic at Celebrity. She was worried because she cheers for a neighboring Comp Team, but Amber made her feel like part of their team. They were all very supportive and she learned so much from just one class. If we ever left our Comp team , we would be looking to put our daughter into Celebrity!!!!

It breaks my heart to write this negative review. My daugher absolutely loves cheering but unfortunately I had to remove her from this program.

Season 1 at Celebrity was a positive experience for us. We joined half way through the season and found there were some slight communication issues but with being a new gym, this was to be expected. The tumbling coaches seemed knowledgeable and helpful during private lessons. This was until one of the coaches ignored my daughter's complaints of being uncomfortable while tumbling. Unfortunately it resulted in my daughter spraining her wrist, which kept her from showing her full potential during evaluations for Season 2. The coaches assured me they knew what she was capable of and placed her on the appropriate team.

Season 2 is where it all fell apart. Communication continued to get worse. The Band app is used for each team. Coaches would create posts on the app with specific information. At a later date they would change the information, deleting the original post and stating they have no recollection when questioned by parents. Parents would post questions on the app, but if the coaches didn't agree with the questions (finding it to be negative) they would simply delete it. Many times questions would be asked with no response (or extremely delayed responses.)

Favoritism is another down fall with this organization. Some athletes got away with breaking the rules. Mandatory practices were allowed to be skipped by some but not by others. Some athletes were forced to choose between practice and school concerts, with the threat of being removed from a team if they missed practice.

The integrity of this program became questionable when athletes recognized parts of their "new" routine as one they saw their competitors perform. My daughter's team was shown a video of a competitor's routine and was told they will be doing the exact same stunt. They were made to practice it that day and got screamed at for messing up a small part.

Safety concerns arose when the coaches would bring their children to practice with them. Toddlers were wondering aimlessly on the practice floor while stunting was taking place. A tumbling coach had to catch an athlete in the air to avoid a toddler being kicked. Many times athletes were "babysitting" while waiting for the next instruction. Coaches would browse and post on social media during practices instead of providing their attention to the teams.

All sports have wins and losses. Without constructive criticism athletes wouldn't continue to better themselves and grow. There were many times Celebrity coaches used derogatory comments towards the athletes instead of constructive criticism. At competitions, if the teams had multiple mistakes, they were considered an embarrassment or told to expect last place. During practices, coaches were overheard stating one team is better than another. Coaches would speak negatively about athletes/parents to other athletes/parents. Occasionally if a girl was out sick, she would be talked about at practice.

In the end, I asked to privately speak to the coaches to address some of these concerns (see photo for details.) I barely made it through the 2nd safety bullet point when I was completely dismissed. I was told if I did not like it, I should leave. Ultimately my daughter's safety and wellbeing is my first priority. I want her to be surrounded by coaches who encourage her to push herself and excel at her goals. I want her to be recognized when she does something right and positively corrected when she can improve. It is unfortunate some of the coaching staff does not reflect the same views. Because of this, I had to make the decision to remove her from the program.

** As expected the coaches are denying any accusations. It's a shame a parent can't express concerns for their child. The program has potential if only the coaches would be more open minded. Any suggestions to better the program will be dismissed before given the chance to explain. I'm satisfied with my decision to remove my daughter from a toxic environment.

My family and I have had a great experience with Celebrity Cheer. Last year two of my daughters cheered in the program and this year I have three daughters in the program and have nothing but good things to say about the owners , coaches , staff, and facility. The owners are amazing family oriented people that give all of their time to the girls despite having their own family to manage. The coaches are incredible, filled with knowledge , and combined are amazing teachers and encourage the girls to do their best. They have extensive personal experience doing competitive cheer and it shows ! The facility is clean and beautiful with ample space for stunting and tumbling. These coaches love the girls and Celebrity cheer is one big family. All of the girls are encouraged by their coaches to be there for one another. They are professional and do their best to accommodate everyone’s needs (even those parents who are constantly negative). When my wife got in an accident they took it upon themselves to get together a meal gift card for her so that she could order meals in for the kids. I wouldn’t take my daughters anywhere else- we love our Celebrity Cheer family.

my experience at celebrity cheer was truly sad. they are very fake people. i did not feel like i had a support group there. they didn’t distribute their time and effort equally. they failed to work with us and only focused on higher skill levels. after practices they would put down all the girls on the team and talk about them. it was very 2 faced. they lied about their scores constantly. when i left they made snarky comments saying “it’s okay that she left because her tumbling wasn’t that good anyways”. it was truly sad that an adult could talk so much on a child. i would not recommend going to celebrity cheer.

I walked in and was blown away by the quality of this gym. It’s large enough for the groups of kids to have sufficient space and the floors have the perfect level of springiness. Just what my 12 and 16 year olds were looking for. Great spot for parents to relax with snacks available. Fantastic new location.

And then the instructor Robert took charge and was just what was needed. Great coach with such a positive and motivating attitude. Truly cares about the kids and knows exactly what he’s doing and exudes experience. My kids are so excited for next week.
