About the Club

Chester County Training is a personal training service that offers one-on-one, partner, group, corporate, Zoom, or Facetime training sessions designed to meet specific exercise, strength, and nutritional goals. We will meet with you in one of our two private personal training studios, located in South Coventry, your work site, or in the comfort of your home. For in-home training, all exercise equipment will be provided.

Every trainer we've had has been fantastic, especially Brooke! We looked forward to training every week and are really sad to be saying goodbye as we move away from the area. Adam is great too, responsive and easy to work with. The training rooms are private, stocked with great equipment, and easy location to get to. It's been a great experience and I 100% recommend.

These guys are amazing. I searched for awhile to find a great fit for my 70 year young mother. It was a delicate situation as she had never enjoyed exercising. Quite frankly, she hated the thought of exercise. I had tried so many approaches to see if I could get her interested. Regular gyms are awful and uncomfortable. She needed a 1 on 1 setup to build her confidence and learn the proper exercise motions. Enter Adam and Austin. Adam is incredibly accommodating and runs a very smooth operation. He immediately understood my moms situation and welcomed her without hesitation, putting her anxiety at ease immediately. The smaller exercise buildings are EXACTLY what I was looking for for my mom. She needed to feel comfortable, and this setup is exactly that. Austin, my moms regular personal trainer, has been beyond words. He has been a perfect fit for her. He connects with her, pushes her, jokes around with her, and has made this fun and enjoyable for her. He knows how to pull the best out of her, and that is invaluable. I cannot believe that she LOVES going to her sessions. I honestly never thought I would hear her say such a thing! She truly loves it. She is like a new person at 72 yrs old, and stronger than she was 15 years ago! She is inspiring the rest of our family to start exercising more! Thank you so much Adam and Austin!

A few months ago, at 65, I made a decision to contact Chester County Personal Training.
After having several health issues and injuries I decided I needed to focus on increasing my strength.
During the initial assessment with Adam (the owner) and Steve (my trainer) they reviewed my health history and discussed any restrictions or concerns. They took care in creating a training plan that was best suited for me.
Steve is an excellent trainer. He is supportive and encourages me to push myself a little further each session. He takes time to demonstrate each move and explains each new excercise and the proper technique. Steve has incorporated excercises that focus on improving my strength for activities I enjoy. (Skiing, golf, kayaking etc)
Before I started training I was struggling with stamina, strength, balance, and flexibility, all important as we age. After working with Steve at CCT, I can honestly say I have noticed a significant improvement in all those areas. I am stronger, more confident and continue to improve with every session. In February of 2024, I decided to reach out to Chester County Personal Training in an effort to finally establish a healthy exercise routine that worked for me and my fitness goals. Shortly after sending an email, Adam was already on the phone with me talking about why I wanted to get started and how they could help me get to where I wanted to be. Safe to say, training with them has been one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself.

I came to Chester County Personal Training as a 24 year old former athlete. Before beginning my program with trainer Steve Tryens, my experience with fitness was lacking good technique, knowledge, and true discipline. Through a carefully crafted plan, specific to me and my goals, Steve has helped me gain muscle, learn correct form, and has made sure I always get the best results out of my workouts with him. I began training with Adam at Chester County Training two years ago. My partner bought me 10 sessions for Christmas and I have to say it was one of the best gifts I’ve ever received. I have been working with Adam and his team for over 4 months now. This was the best investment I have ever made in myself! I started 3 times a week and now go once while still working out 2 times on my own. I am not one that enjoys working out, but love the benefits to my body and energy and Adam gives me that push weekly to keep me motivated. This summer I decided to find a personal trainer that could come to my house and help support me in my fitness goals. I am (almost) 40 and I was not happy with a lot of aspects related to myself and my body. To be clear, it wasn’t just a weight thing. I was a collegiate athlete, and I missed my endurance and strength from when I was in competition. Motherhood has not been the kindest to my body, both physically and mentally, and I realized I needed more than just my own internal motivation to make permanent changes.

Enter Adam & Matt from Chester Country Training. I found Adam’s business through a Google search, and both guys came out to my house and spent over an hour talking with me about my fitness and nutrition goals, my fears, and all the things that had been holding me back over the last couple years. I could tell how much they care about their clients’ journeys.

Since working with Matt 2x/week starting August 2023, I have lost over 35lbs, and 4 dress sizes … but more importantly, my confidence has grown. I went from struggling to complete 5 regular pushups, to being able to complete 3 sets of 20. I went from feeling winded 5 minutes into my adult field hockey games, to lasting a full 40 minute game with energy to spare. I was apprehensive about giving permission to share my photos on social media, not because I wasn’t proud of my transformation, but because the photos only measure the physical changes. No photo can show how much I’ve changed inside. I’ve found myself again. I am stronger physically and mentally, and I have Matt to thank for that extra push. If you ask him, 100% of the credit belongs to me, but I know I wouldn’t have pushed myself as much as I have without the accountability checks from him. I love that we can discuss our gameplay from our adult leagues or commiserate about the most recent Eagles game in between sets. I’ve also become way more consistent with doing workouts on my own (e.g., biking, running, yoga) outside of my scheduled training sessions. My overall health and wellness have greatly improved, and I am so much happier with my lifestyle. I know myself, and I know that I benefit from the accountability of a trainer to keep me on track and push me to my max. Many thanks to both Matt, and Adam! Looking forward to what 2024 will bring!

After putting off my own personal health, ignoring the warning signs, and telling myself I’d get around to working out “when I had time”, I finally took the first step and called! I decided to get personal training because it’s basically a life hack: exercise improves and heals every system in your body and extends your longevity. And I have a lot to live for! So now several months in, my body looks and feels much improved. It’s really cool to see. I wish I could describe the workouts better but I will say this— Just show up and let Adam or Ali or Brooke take over and put you through a workout designed to challenge you and sculpt your body and mind. Today is my first anniversary with Chester County Training. I started April 5, 2021. I’m a new woman! I contacted Adam because I was about to turn 71 and had been diagnosed with hypertension, although my blood pressure had always been at or below normal. I was taking lots of blood pressure meds, was overweight, and just plain wanted to get fit and healthy. From the minute I met Adam and Austin, I knew I was in the right place.

I work out with Austin twice a week. For the first time in my life, I actually look forward to working out. I enjoy his positivity and sense of humor. I’m always surprised when a session ends, because the time just flies. I think the exercises we do are very efficient. Most, if not all, include the core, which is so important for balance. My balance has been off since I had my four major joints replaced (both hips and both knees). I feel so much more secure.

At least 95% of the exercises we do in our sessions, I can easily do at my gym. I gladly go to my gym several days a week now. Did I actually say that? I’ve lost about 50 pounds and have kept it off for nearly 6 months.
Thanks to my year with Austin and Adam, I’m lighter, stronger, and more balanced (maybe not mentally) because of the good habits I’m learning. I’m so glad I saw their sign and called! You should call, too.

I was referred to Adam from my chiropractor!!! I have tried many forms of exersice before but I knew I was lacking knowledge to how can I reform my body! I am very thankfull that I found them!!! I have tried personal training in the past but nothing meets or compares from what I have experienced so far by training with Austin!!
