We thoroughly enjoyed our three weeks at Main Line Ardmore this summer - our only regret is we couldn’t stay longer! Kelli leads a phenomenal community of coaches and athletes, all of whom are welcoming to newcomers and drop-ins alike. We hope to visit again soon!

Great place to workout! Especially for people with busy schedule, since you could get a mix of both strength and cardio in each class. It's great for all fitness levels and stages of life. I started with this gym during early pregnancy, without any prior weightlifting experience, coaches here helped me with adjusting my workout accordingly, and I was able to stay active and worked out until 2 weeks before my son was born. I was able to put my membership on hold while I took a maternity leave, and started again a few months after without any issue. I really appreciate support and encouragement from the coaches and fellow gym members. Keep up with the great work!

I signed up for the 14 day trial as I had never tried cross fit. I was nervous about starting at a gym where I didn’t know anyone and I had heard cross fit can be intense. The staff and other members were so nice and welcoming.
The staff were cautious so as to not push me beyond my limits. They provided modifications and other options and met me where I was at. I would highly recommend Cross Fit Main Line.

Getting better every day
I enjoy going to the gym to see the smiling faces and to challange myself. Since I began my journey at the gym I have increased my strenght as well as lost over 30 pounds. As a result I now look forward to going to my doctor to see my results. It is all because of the dedication and commitment I have to the gym and what they have for me. It's been two and a half years of workouts and I look forward to the next two and a half years. Great place with helping people. Highly recommend.

I’m officially a CrossFit convert! I’m a night owl who had never lifted in her life but am fully addicted to the 530am class. Fun, knowledgeable, inclusive. If you’re a pro or a beginner they make it easy to get started, learn and grow and the environment is super supportive. If you’re curious, come check it out!

I joined CrossFit Main Line in early 2024 and the workout and coaches were excellent. Unfortunately, I had a medical illness that afflicted me all Summer into the Fall and was unable to return to CrossFit per how I felt and per my doctor. I explained to CrossFit Main Line that I cannot do CrossFit anymore at this time, but I’d like to return in the future if and when I am able. However, they still charged me a 3 month cancellation fee per my contract (approximately $180 x 3 months). Be aware that this gym is sales focused. I was pressured to join after 3 classes when I had a trial of 5 classes. The gym won’t let you out of a contract even if you are willing to provide proof of a legitimate medical reason whereas other gyms will let you cancel with 30 days notice even without a medical reason. I really wanted to come back to Cross Fit Main Line after I got better, but I won’t because of their unfair business practices.
***Edit: Amending my review on 11-2-2024 to provide clarification and respond to comments from the owner***:
The statement by the CrossFit Main Line – Ardmore Owner stating that I was “provided 9 complimentary months” of membership is false and misleading information.

2/22/2024- 89.18 (partial membership fee so because I was paying for two gym memberships this month)
3/21/2024- $178.35 (normal membership fee)

May 2024- Informed CrossFit Main Line of medical illness
5/16/2024- $35 (medical freeze)
7/11/2024- $35 (medical freeze)
8/8/2024- $35 (medical freeze)
9/5/2024- $35 (medical freeze)
10/3/2024- $35 (medical freeze)
10/23/2024- informed CrossFit Main Line I will not be returning because I am unable to physically do the workout.
10/31/2024- $178.35 (cancellation penalty fee 1 of 3)
Again, I would like to reiterate that the gym and coaches are excellent. However, if I had to redo the process of joining this gym, I would not have signed a contract. I would have decided on a month to month membership since it is impossible to predict what will happen in life. I also want to clarify that the three-month cancellation fee was part of the contract I signed with the gym, but I believe this policy is unfair when one physically cannot do the workout anymore due to unforeseen circumstances. Therefore, I am informing others to keep that in mind when joining.

After a long day of work, it's easy to walk in the door and not have to think of what workout I am going to do. By not thinking it helps me mentally know I'm game for whatever workout is thrown my way. The coaches always make class energetic and fun the second we start to when we are done. I am always learning something new and being able to push myself more than I would myself. After work it may not be the easiest to get myself to the gym, but I know the people there hold me accountable and the vibes are always fun with main line!

CrossFit Mainline Ardmore was the first place I ever took a CrossFit class and helped me to find my love for it. I have tried other boxes (while on vacation or in town just to see what it was like) and nothing compares to here. The coaches are friendly, knowledgeable, and your biggest supporters. Whenever I’ve had injuries, they always know the best modifications. The coaches even have a way of getting you motivated to crush a workout at 5:30am even if you’re still asleep. Perfect place for anyone, even beginners :)

Long review but I needed all these words to say how amazing this place is! I moved 600 miles away from home all the way to PA for school. Then I decided to stay the summer in PA all alone from my family and friends. It was hard. It was lonely. As a former athlete, retired from numerous injuries from a car accident and life, I hated working out alone and couldn’t find the motivation to train at the same intensity that I had known for the past 11 years. Then I joined CrossFit Mainline. I began to find a community and looked forward to going to work out at a high level every day with amazing coaches and amazing athletes that encouraged each other during every workout. The coaches are amazing, I’ve never been a huge morning person, but Chelsey’s 6:30 am workouts became a staple for me over the summer before I went to work. Coach Chelsey, Jean, April, Matt, Mark, Ray, Daniel— they work each day to make you better, They celebrate wins with you, and they encourage you to work harder and do better everyday … even when you don’t feel like it. When I was in a car accident this year, I texted coach April for a hold on my account, and she showered me with support and love - this place has become my family and my home away from home. During the school year now I go back and forth from morning classes to evenings. It’s the best stress relief, best workout, and best place to be. To summarize this, all I can say is JOIN!

After my gym shut down less than 2 months before my wedding, I was in a bind to find a new gym to push me and keep me motivated. CrossFit Main Line is exactly that. With a welcoming environment- both the coaches and the members- and a wide variety of workouts, I can certainly say I haven't been bored! As is typical of my New Year’s resolutions, I decided in January I was going to start going to the gym. I assumed that like in previous years, I would be done going to the gym and back to my old habits within a month. So I join mainline CrossFit without much hope for it. 11 months later, I am hooked. It has changed my life not just physically, but mentally as well. And I think that all goes to the coaches and the other athletes. Everyone is so supportive, and scales things to your needs. CrossFit Main Line is a great place to start, and continue your fitness journey! I love the variety of movement, and constant change in daily work outs. The coaches are so supportive of athletes at all levels, and spend time with each class member to ensure they have a suitable plan for the workout.
I've been going to CrossFit Main Line for 6 years, and my 11 year old daughter has been a member for 4. We have both gotten stronger, leaner, and made new friends.

Finding fitness after being a washed up former division one athlete was a very very difficult path for me. With hip issues from surgery and the fitness funk remaining from Covid I was looking for something new that could nurture my competitive edge and help me have fun while working out. CrossFit Mainline is the happiest place on earth for me! I love the environment and the competition that occurs within the gym. I also love that I am constantly encouraged to push myself and am in the best shape of my life after only 2 months. Every single coach is so knowledgeable and truly cares about your journey. Whether it’s Coach Jean reminding you to stretch, Coach April telling you to literally “just lift the bar lea” when I’m doubting my strength, or Chelsey giving you an extra shot of energy during your 5:30 am workout that will last you the entire day. I am so happy to have found my fitness home at CrossFit Mainline!!!

Signing up for this gym is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The coaches are spectacular!! They are very attentive and make sure we’re in proper form and lifting the right amount of weight. After years at my previous CrossFit gym, I had to find a new one after my family and I moved. I reached out to a couple of gyms, but CFML actually reached back out and answered all my questions and concerns. Coach Chelsey even called me personally to answer my questions in more detail. The first class I went to was a partner WOD and they already had someone I could partner up with. I felt like part of their community almost immediately. Coaches and athletes have introduced themselves and helped me through WODs. It’s a community like no other and I’m so happy I found it. If you’re in the area, definitely check them out! I recently moved to the area with my fiancé and joined CrossFit Main Line. It has been a great experience between the amazingly supportive coaches, welcoming community of members, and absolute first class facility. Joining a new gym can sometimes feel intimidating especially when new to an area but everyone made me feel very welcome and comfortable. I am glad that I chose CF Main Line as a new home! I've had an extremely pleasant experience with CrossFit Main Line. I recently dropped in, but came here first in summer of 2018 while doing an internship in the area. The coaches are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! Especially Coach Raymond. The members are kind and welcoming. I recently dropped in, and with covid, they are doing a great job keeping things distanced, sanitary, and enforcing mask use (including during the workouts). Everyone seems to care and the sense of community is present. PS they have some of the most fun (but effective) warmups. I would highly recommend attending this gym, whether you're looking to join a new gym or drop in! All movements and workouts are scalable so give it a try!

I’m a lifelong athlete who has always worked out and had been a little skeptical of CrossFit. I met a CrossFitter and was impressed with her fitness and so came to MainLine CrossFit to give it a try.
What I found there was amazing:
Coaches who understood that doing intense exercise in one’s mid-60s required that many of the workouts needed to be scaled down to accommodate my history of injuries and limitations.
A group of people who supported each other whether we were power lifters or people just trying to not go up a size in clothing.
I also believe that my rebound from getting COVID-19 was due to the fitness I have developed through MainLine CrossFit.
I can’t believe I look and feel the way I do at my age and am very grateful to MaiLine CrossFit for helping make this happen.

I joined CrossFit Mainline 2 1/2 years ago, when I was looking for a gym with group workouts and appropriate class times. I didn't know anything about CrossFit, and after a few searches, I found this facility which offered classes where the workouts were customized based on your ability and that's exactly what I needed.
Fast forward to today, I'm stronger, healthier and have a supportive circle of friends who challenge and motivate me.
CrossFit Mainline has definitely exceeded my expectations. The coaches are knowledgeable. The programming is appropriate for everyone. The other members are very supportive.

Great box with a great community. The coaches are knowledgeable and have helped me improve my technique on more complex movements. They have a solid arsenal of equipment that is always being updated and improved, and they truly take the feedback from their members to heart. Overall, CFML creates a constructive and inclusive environment for reaching any type of fitness goal.

When joining CFML last summer the first thing that stood out to me was how friendly and welcoming everyone was. The community is my favorite part about CFML and what keeps me coming back! The gym itself is clean, the coaches are knowledgeable and approachable, and working out is fun. 10/10 would recommend!

I LOVE the community at this gym!! It is the main reason that I have continued to go here for almost 6 years now. The gym owners and managers are always approachable and exude a great positive energy whenever you see them. Friendly. Dropped in for Oly Weightlifting and they were super accommodating. Still have the space from Main Line Barbell in back, even though that Weightlifting club doesn't exist anymore. Just take note of their hours, since they only have a handful of classes a day, and will only be open at those times.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about CrossFit Main Line! I was intimidated to join since I hadn't lifted any weights in 25 years and heard horror stories of injuries and unsafe practices. As a former distance runner, I was sick of running, so I was sitting on my butt, gaining weight instead (peri-menapause newsflash: getting heavier and heavier eating fewer and calories just to maintain). I joined 7 1/2 months ago and love it. Before even taking a class, they teach you how to do things like "clean and jerk", and "sumo deadlift". The coaches are super enthusiastic and helpful without being condescending. It's the first gym I've belonged to where men and women are treated exactly the same by both staff and other members. I feel strong and powerful and can see the progress everywhere (increased muscle mass, increased number and of reps, decreased weight and %body fat) Also, I've learned from the coaches how to eat more food to find my healthy weight. I'm now 8 pounds lighter and much stronger!
