I am posting solely on my experience with Dannyelle’s classes. I found this gem a few weeks ago. I’ve done her Work the Room, Pilates, Ride and HIIT. Dannyelle is a formidable presence on the floor. Strong, disciplined and engaging . She pushes us to excel at the task assigned and offers alternatives if we need it. She moves around the turf the entire time coaching us along. Music is fun and motivates you to MOVE!!! Love her and glad to have found her.

This gym has everything you need but it's by far the filthiest commercial gym I've ever been to. The spray bottles are always empty, there are never any paper towels, and the bathrooms are just nasty. How are we supposed to wash our sweaty, filthy hands after a workout with no soap? One day there wasn't even any toilet paper in the stalls and I just lost it. This gym is cheap but you get what you pay for. A cheap, barely functional gym.

Very poorly maintained gym. Most of the time the trash is overflowing, no refill on the cleaning supplies. No cleanliness. And since I joined the gym the water filter is showing red light. And when they have classes scheduled they take over the mostly used area. And you will be blocked off from using the equipment and even to get a floor mat from that area. They are so.loud when they are doing there classes we cannot peacefully do our workout so much tension and literally telling. I will not recommend this gym. I also pay for the gym and I am not allowed use the equipments when they are doing their group trainings. SO RUDE.

I have never signed up for Crunch Fitness, not online, not in person, not at all. Somehow my personal information was transferred from my previous gym, YouFit, without my consent, and for over a year I have been charged hundreds of dollars for a membership I never authorized and never used.

I have emailed every address I was given and called countless times, always asking for a manager who was never available. The only time Crunch contacts me is to collect payment. To cancel, I was told I would need to pay even more, which is completely unacceptable. At first I considered forgiving the charges, but after months of being ignored and overdrafted, I now want both a cancellation and a full refund.

This has gone beyond poor service; it feels like highway robbery. My account was repeatedly overdrafted, and my personal information was used without my permission. I was once interested in joining Crunch, but now I will never become a member, and I am warning everyone I know to take their business elsewhere.

No customer should ever be treated this way. I am filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Pennsylvania Attorney General to report these practices. I strongly urge Crunch’s ownership to step in, cancel this unauthorized membership, and refund the money that was wrongly taken.

Easily one of the worst gym experiences I’ve had. Nobody re-racks their weights — the dumbbell area is always a disaster, and plates are scattered everywhere like it’s a garage sale. The staff don’t seem to care or enforce any rules. On top of that, the same machines have been broken for weeks (some for over a month) with no sign of being fixed anytime soon. For what they charge, you’d think they’d at least keep the equipment working and the place organized. Do yourself a favor and find a gym that actually takes care of its stuff and enforces basic etiquette.

I started in 2022, but it’s not good now. This location absolutely sucks, not worth the money. There’s been black mold growing in the bathroom ceiling (not to mention it ALWAYS smells like sewage), the ceiling above the squatting platform has always leaked, the paper towel holders/sprays are missing, empty or broken, and machines take 6 months to get fixed when they break. I am writing to formally report an incident involving Assistant General Manager Angel Rosales that occurred on 7/8/25 at your Roosevelt Blvd facility.

While my friend and I were working out alongside another gentleman, Mr. Rosales approached us in an aggressive and unprofessional manner. He accused us of making others feel uncomfortable in the restroom—without offering any evidence or specifics to support the claim. Despite our calm and respectful attempt to explain that we were simply having a private conversation in the restroom, Mr. Rosales escalated the situation unnecessarily.

He threatened to revoke our memberships and remove us from the gym, without providing any viable or policy-based reason. Additionally, his demeanor was confrontational and intimidating. He appeared more focused on asserting dominance—flexing his muscles and displaying an attitude of authority—rather than seeking to understand or resolve the situation in a professional manner.

We were not rude or disruptive in any way. We did not engage with anyone else in the restroom, nor did we act inappropriately. If anyone felt uncomfortable, it may have been due to overhearing part of our private conversation, which we had no control over. We believe we were treated unfairly and targeted without justification.

I respectfully request that this matter be investigated thoroughly, and appropriate action taken to ensure that all gym members are treated with respect and professionalism by your staff—especially those in leadership positions.

I began training here at the end of summer and was initially very pleased with the facility, which prompted me to pay for an entire year in advance. However, I have noticed that some ongoing issues remain unaddressed over time. Specifically, a leak near the squat/barbell rack has persisted for over six months. Today, I was trying to squat and the floors were all wet; if I or someone else gets injured by the negligence of the non-existent gym manager, I will sue.

The other day, one of the Female trainers had an open class with two women. She had the audacity to play music so loud that even with both of my AirPods, I could not only enjoy my music but not only that, I could not longer work out close to the speakers as the music was so loud that I thought I could need a hearing aid. I left the gym at the moment. The next day, the same female instructor had another class, and she left all the equipment in the middle of the gym. Putting weights back is encouraged for us members but not for employees. The disrespect I get from these people is unbelievable sometimes

The front desk is operated by a couple of teenagers who don’t manage the building. They always seem to hang out as if this was a social event instead of working.

I will attach pictures to this review showing equipment that has been broken for months now. The gym also gets very dirty. Not enough people are working to make this place decent.

It would be a good idea to stop with the constant promotional offers when the place is clearly getting way too big management/employees to handle. Even on Sunday you will find yourself waiting for equipment. This will be a fire code violation waiting to happen

This place just continues to get worse and worse so I’ve decided to leave for good.

1. The soap dispensers in the men’s bathroom have been broken for months. So assume all men’s are not washing their hands. There’s not even a temporary bottle in there. This has to be some health code violation.

2. None of the paper towel dispensers worked so instead of fixing them they just removed half of them.

3. About a 1/4 of the machines are broken or feel like they are so you can’t even use them. Broken machines will sit for 3-6 months it seems.

4. The staff just hangs out. No one is really there to help with anything that’s broken and they are almost never at the front desk. I assume their only responsibility is to sign people up.

I spoke with the owner who does not want to give me back my moment sent me a contract with a falsified a signature that is not mines!! I came in person while visiting home to cancel and was told the policy changed and you can not cancel in person I needed to instead call a number I was given . I really like this gym. It has everything I need. It can be a little crowded at times but that’s life. They have these water massage chairs and they’re awesome. The tv’s are always on the hallmark channel for some reason? Which is sort of funny but also, I have no idea how to change it. Maybe that’s the joke, you’re getting some massage action but you have to watch the hallmark channel.

I would like to end my membership because of the unnecessary charges that have been added to my card. Dated back to May 13th, my card was charged $51.99 for the monthly payment however two days later on May 15th it was charged again $36.99. In June, my card was charged $66.99 on the 6th and $36.99 on the 17th. Now on July 15th, my card has been charged $88.98. I’ve spoken to associates, and managers from my home gym to address this issue and get my money back, was told that my money would be reimbursed, yet I was charged instead. I have called corporate and even my own bank to see if we could get this issue resolved and have not been able to have a successful outcome. Crunch has been over charging me for my monthly membership and has not been reimbursing the unnecessary charges rather continue to charge and add late fees to these charges. This is unacceptable and I am still requesting my money to be refunded.

Can not cancel my membership! My doctor advised me again any strenuous activity for six months. I tried to cancel and they gave me a fake phone number and an email that no one is monitoring.

Its been two months and I have yet to hear back from someone from management. In April, I was double-charged for my membership, with one charge of $9.99 and another of $11.99. I visited the club in person and spoke with a staff member at the front desk, who informed me that only a manager could resolve this issue and advised me to call. I called the following morning, but management was unavailable. I was told to call later in the afternoon, yet again, management was not available. I left my name and phone number with the front desk and also provided a detailed explanation via the Crunch message feature online twice. Unfortunately, I have not received any response from management. In May, I was charged again for the $9.99. To prevent further unauthorized charges, I had to take action through my bank, which resulted in a $33.00 fee. I called Crunch again to explain the situation. Although the staff seemed aware of the issue, they were unable to assist without a manager's involvement. This runaround and lack of communication from management have left me out $52.98 and filled with frustration.

To the Owner I cancel my PT in January 2024 with a manager. I was told by the manager that I have to pay for February I agree. The February payment was deducted in February. The payment for March was deducted in March in error. I visit the gym and talked to one of the managers and he told me that he would sent the information in and I should received my refund. I have been going back and forth for 2 months with 2 different managers about my refund and still have not received it as of today and it is going on 3 months now. I went o the gym today Malik one of the managers told one of the girl at the desk that he would call me in an hour and a half he never called. The girl that gave me the information from Malik told me that the person that Processes the payment has been out for 2 months. She also told me that it takes over 2 months before it is refunded. I asked for the name of the person that process the payment she told me she can't tell me, I then ask what is the name of the owner and she told me the same thing. She also stated that it's in her contract that she can't give out their name. I now have take Crunch Fitness to Ciurt get my refund that they illegally took out of my account. We should never have gotten to this point if you take money that don't belong to you, refund it back stop having the employees to lie to your customer.
05/18/24--I am still waiting for my refund. How much longer do I have to wait.

Convenient gym except the facility is always out of paper in the dispensers and disinfectants. You have to walk around the whole gym to find any. It seems that its never refilled throughout day. Gym equipment is dirty and torn but never replaced. Same with the padding on the floors and squat racks. A tripping hazard for people. Worst of all is the gym has inadequate ventilation and air conditioning. It feels moist and stuffy inside. Cannot even breathe if youre doing a intense workout. To top it off, i found a toilet brush sitting on top of the counter on evening when the cleaners are cleaning the gym. A toilet brush..... they might as well use toilet water to wipe the mirrors too. Also, no WIFI.

Not clean! No upkeep with the cleaning supplies. No spray to clean anything.
Weights are thrown everywhere. The worst crunch I’ve ever been too! Telling all my friend as well not to go here it’s awful!

Do NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP HERE! I REPEAT DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP HERE!!! They did not think this through when they built this gym. It’s no service what so ever in here. They have WiFi but if the gym is crowded you can not join. Which means you can not listen to your music or receive call why you are here. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY !!!

I would give a zero if I could. Fraud and very bad business practices!!! Canceled my membership over a month ago. Monday they took 69.99 out my account. I went in looking for support and got none. Talked to my bank they got my money. This morning they took 84.99 from my account. Think twice before you give them your account details!!!

The classes are good! But I signed up with a friend and they never informed us that they would charge us an annual feed of $100 after 2 months of starting, and they only billed it to me and in two months they billed it to my friend... unintelligible, one of them They charge now and the other person after 2 months. Why do they charge a person an amount now? And to the other one later. It's not understood !!

More details: When I signed up 2 memberships for my wife and myself they didn't say a word about annual fee, NOT ONE. . But after 3 months they charged me $140 for two. It was important for my wife to go to yoga, which they said they have on the first day, but for 3 months there were not a single class. When I tried to cancel everything and get my money back, they only gave me a hard time. I talked to manager, I called twice to office….. nothing, but a complicated conversation
