Since that time we have built a solid foundation with our athlete, adult, TEAM and private training programs.
We also offer remote - at home training programs that provide equipment and designed programs!

Working with Rick directly has been the perfect fit for me. I chose to do 2 workouts per week at home with kettlebells, bands and some other equipment and 1 workout at Daman’s. The app on my phone helps me track my workouts and there are videos for every exercise plus Rick is always available if I have questions. I had basically zero experience when I started. The typical busy working mom with no time on my hands and age related changes, aches and pains were creeping up on me. I wanted to have energy and strength. I was tired of feeling fatigued easily all the time. Tired of pulling this muscle or that muscle while doing the most benign things. Saw their ad on facebook and saw they did kids training too. Took a plunge. Was very happy to see how kid friendly and flexible it was. This was important for me as it is something I can do with my son. We motivate each other and push each other when one of us do not feel like going to the gym.
Coach Rick Daman designed my workout plan knowing my lack of experience and goals. He adjusted my routine if I have this pain or that pain which really helps. Most days, I come to the gym, do my workout at my own pace and go home. When I need help, struggle with my form, technique or whatever, the coaches are there at their regular hours to give me guidance. I can do my workouts at my own pace, which may be slower than a lot of people. The nice thing is I don't feel pressured to finish it at a certain time. I don't have a trainer breathing down my neck, pushing and pushing. That does not work for me. Coach Rick does check on me, my progress and updates me on plans. He is very responsive to my questions or when I ask for adjustment in my workout, like when I hurt my knee or wrist, which happens more than I care for. He'd send me an alternate video. This is usually adequate for me.
I also like that the gym is not too crowded. Kids come in and do their lessons. Many adults like me come in, do their thing and leave. They have adult classes too but I need flexibility in hours so this indicidual thing works for me and my busy schedule which is often all over the place. After hours gym access is available for people who work odd or long hours. Also the videos on the app are easy enough to follow that I can even follow them at home.
My goal was to get stronger and have more energy. I had certainly achieved some of that. Been doing a lot of landscaping this Summer, moving rocks, putting in new garden bed, carry bags of soil etc.. That would not have been possible had it not been for my strength training at Daman's.
My son joined Iron over Ipads. He did well with it. Boost his confidence and strength. This had inspired him to do better and get fit. The coaches are amazing in making kids feel welcome and encourage them. They have their goals and my son feels good when he is able to check off things on his lists and move on to the next. This tangible progress works well for him.
Joining Daman's was an investment in my health and my son's. We're glad we joined.

I came to DST for help getting back into a regular exercise habit. Rick is a pro, with years of experience. He created a plan appropriate for my fitness level and personal goals. After a just few months, I feel great and am seeing results! The home training program suits me and allows flexibility when life gets busy. Workouts are clearly presented, include video demos, and are changed up regularly to keep things interesting. Best of all, Rick gives really good feedback and lots of encouragement. Irons over iPad’s program was just what my 11 year old athlete needed this summer. The program and coaches provided a strong foundation to developing his future. I seen a massive improvement of Luca’s strength and confidence during the program. He went from struggling to do a single push up to doing 15+ in a row. There are tons of examples and probably most importantly, how to use his strength. The nutritional seminar in the beginning of the program set the tone for a mindset to be successful. Through the program, Luca and I were able to do the home workouts together, which created new weekly habits, which is now a new normal routine. Thanks for a solid summer program!!

Our son Blake has been working out at DST for nearly 2 years now. This past summer he enrolled in their Iron over IPads program. Blake has always enjoyed working out here which is really saying something for a 12 year old. His gains have always been noticed and the Iron over IPads program was great for keeping him active this summer. I’m a nurse practitioner and I used to teach aerobics at the YMCA. Fast-forward through grad school, having three babies and working in healthcare through the COVID pandemic. By the fall of 2023 I had gained 25 pounds and wasn’t exercising at all. I felt bad about myself both physically and mentally. I decided that enough was enough so I signed up for Daman’s Strength Training at home program. The home program has been a game changer for me because I do not have time to go to a gym and they lent me the equipment that I needed. Fast forward to spring 2024. My clothes fit looser, my knees don’t hurt when I walk up the steps, I don’t pee my pants when I run, I can lift/carry my toddler without a second thought and I can go on a hike or a bike ride with my family without instantly feeling out of breath. I would recommend this program to anyone with a busy schedule that needs flexibility and accountability to reach his or her health and fitness goals.

With a work schedule that changes week to week and transportation issues, the at home program kept me consistent! Dena was an absolute gem!!! I have been working with Rick at Daman’s for just over 6 months now in an at-home training program. From the very start, Daman’s loaned me equipment that would be needed to train at home and we connected on an app that he uploads weekly sessions on. It was so easy to build this program into my already existing routines because it was essentially on-demand. I have the option to complete a workout at any time of the day. Plus if my day doesn’t go as planned, Rick is very responsive and supportive to adjust the schedule to work for me. Having Rick available as a coach also has helped to add extra motivation and he is a great resource for trying new exercises and providing tips on proper form. I am stronger and in better shape thanks to this program.

I don't usually write reviews but the workout at home program deserves recognition. The program is designed to help everyone succeed even if you're a beginner or have been working out daily. Every exercise is broken down with a video and easily explained. There is also a place you can upload a video of yourself and receive instant feedback of your technique. Exercises change often so you don't get bored doing the same thing over and over. I know most people complain about pricing but you get what you pay for. The program is fairly priced and provides you with the equipment you need to be successful in your own home. By far the best at home workout program.

Started going here to workout shortly after a bad back injury to learn how to lift properly and how to on my own as well. Had a great time with all the trainers and Rick helped me through any problems i had with lifting or really anything that was needed. I had a great experience at the gym with everyone and they helped me start on a good track and lose over 50 pounds! Five years ago, I met Dena Daman at the local bagel shop, and she was telling me about the gym that she and her husband own. She encouraged me to come and try it out, because the first session is a free evaluation so that they know how to best serve you. I didn’t have the best luck with gyms in the past because I am totally blind and need one-on-one training from someone who is going to be kind and patient with me. I have had kind, patient instructors before, but I wanted to do strength training so that I could build muscle, and it is hard to find a good strength trainer. I needed someone who was going to motivate me and push me to my potential while treating me like every other “normal” client. My first training session was with the owner, Rick, and I knew instantly that I had found something great. For the past five years, I have been doing strength training with Rick and he’s not only a trainer, but he is also a great friend. He works with me on my form and is patient when I don’t get something right. He knows my potential and pushes me to it. He reassures me that I am strong, especially when I struggle. All the instructors who work at Daman’s Strength Training are like this. The environment is also great. It is a fun, upbeat place filled with hard work and good vibes.

I started training at Daman's in 2018, at first with a personal trainer focusing on MSE and taking classes to assist in recovering from knee surgery and then later gravitating to the at home training program a few years later. Fitness has always been a huge part of my life, from playing various sports, to yoga and weight training, I'm always looking for ways to stay fit and active especially as I've gotten older. I am also a PIAA football official, so it is imperative that I am always in shape and able to maintain my balance, coordination and agility on the field. The workouts Rick provides through the at-home program, do just that. Further, after the pandemic and given my demanding work schedule, going to a traditional gym wasn't an option for me any more. I had reached a plateau with what I was able to do on my own and needed more of an edge and challenge. The work outs are efficient, challenging, personalized, and flexible. Rick's personal attention to detail and to his clients is unmatched. I know that he is available and willing to work with me when I need to switch things up or need something specific. The equipment and the training are top-notch in my opinion. By executing this plan, I have gained muscle mass, maintained my weight, have improved confidence in what I can do, challenged myself and improved my balance and mobility. This gym and these programs were able to take me outside of my comfort zone for the better. Just as much as the training through Daman's has helped me on the field, it has assisted me in growing as a person and helped me continue my healthy lifestyle. Its all what you put into it, if you want to get the most out of it. Rick and his team can help get you there. One of the best atmospheres around. I’ve been training here my entire life and it truly has helped me gain strides athletically and taught me discipline mentally. I trained with Daman over the entire summer of 23’. I did the three month program. To start Daman is a very modest and dependable man. Always professional, on time, and communicates well if an inconvenience comes up. His staff always carries themselves in the same manner!
In terms of my training and my progress, it was great! Rick set milestones and we passed them! He increased all my scores significantly! I’m a college football player at IUP and my numbers were nowhere near as consistent and high until I finished training with Rick. The Training directly translated to the field which was a big factor to me. I came into camp well prepared and people noticed a difference. I even became a starter this year and Rick had A Lot to do with it. Rick trains you mentally and physically. He breeds life into you and makes you realize you can do things you only imagined before because you didn’t have full belief in yourself.
I promise if you stay consistent with Rick and just work, your results will show!

My DST journey started about 10 months ago… Beforehand I was always just feeling tired and unmotivated by the time I got home from work…
I told Rick on several occasions that I just need to do something…
Rick started me on a program and I hit the ground running!
I trusted the process, do my workouts to the best of my ability, and love the results I’m seeing…

I never worked out a day in my life before starting at DST. But once I started noticing the buttons on my shorts were holding on to dear life, I knew it was time to do something. I’ve know Rick all my life. He lived like three houses up the street. I reached out to him and said I was ready to do this. I couldn’t have asked for a better system than what Rick is doing at DST. I came in for an assessment at the gym. Damn was I out of shape. lol. But that doesn’t matter. We all start somewhere. Rick developed a workout plan that was for where I was at physically. This is what I needed. Someone who could guide me through the process of working out. Someone who was going to guide me to be stronger and not get hurt. The only equipment I had was a piece of junk exercise bike. Rick set me up with everything I needed. That was back in July 2022. I have since built myself a home gym. I feel so much better since I started at DST. I don’t get random muscle cramps trying to reach for the remote. I sleep better. I have more energy. I’m definitely stronger than I was. I’m 42 and I feel the best I have in my entire life. It’s never too late to start training.

I started this program when I had a 6 month old, a 1 year old, and a 3 year old. I’ve found it essential to reach out for help in my post-partum periods, because I don’t have extra time/energy to test out things that could help me feel fit again. I have tried almost every type of exercise out there, except for one that truly focuses on strength. I really like how everything in the app is broken down to the day. I particularly like that every single exercise has a video attached showing proper form, because I don’t have extra time to look up lifts that are new to me. There are helpful queues written such as how many seconds to lower/hold and weight suggestions. You can send videos and almost immediately get feedback so you can improve your technique in that same session. Moms shouldn’t feel like it’s impossible to care for their health. With the program I’ve been on, which is truly tailored to me, I’m definitely the strongest I’ve ever been. I can now deadlift more than my bodyweight. So many women talk about sore hips (weak glutes) after pregnancy. I used to limp after sitting in the car for 30 min. For the first time since having children, that pain is gone. Most importantly, I can carry any two of my children upstairs to bed.

It was the Summer before my son's junior year in high school. He has ambitions to be involved in athletics beyond high school. As a parent, I wanted to give him every opportunity to get bigger, faster, stronger. I carefully weighed my options and decided to message Daman's Strength. Daman's is a name I have known for many years in Beaver County. They were previously located in Monaca and then moved to Beaver. Rick contacted me immediately and setup a call convenient for both of us. From the time my son stepped foot into the gym, I knew I made the right decision.
Often when student athletes go to a gym, they don't have a plan. At Daman's, there is a plan for your athlete led by a coach that builds a 1 to 1 relationship to help your student athlete reach their goals. My son would arrive at the gym, sign into a gym device and pull up his workout for the day. Upon his arrival, Rick would greet my son at the gym and then allow him to proceed to his warm-up. From there, Rick worked with my son 1 on 1 throughout his workout.
Our goal was to get bigger, faster, stronger and I think we have done that. My son gained 15 lbs during his program at Daman's. This was due to a combination of dedication and accountability to the program through diet and exercise. After going through the program, my son felt much more confident as an athlete on the basketball court. He is able to defend stronger players and truly compete with them. He was able to meet new people. My son felt that Coach Rick pushed him more than he would’ve pushed himself on his own. My son felt that Coach Rick was very dedicated to helping him and that Rick cared a lot. All the trainers at Daman’s are great at what they do and even better people. It was a good experience for my son.

I started the program at 293lbs. I have lost just under 30 lbs in 90 days. Roughly 4 inches off my waist. The program is tailored to what you need to work on. I had lower back and knee issues. I don’t usually write reviews, but I think Rick deserves some recognition. I gained 60 lbs over the last 3 years. I felt terrible. I looked terrible. My self esteem was at an all time low. I have herniated discs in my lower back. I am a dental hygienist which exacerbates my back issues. The extra weight was really causing my sciatica to flare up. Most days I could barely walk out of work. I would be stuck at home lying flat on the floor for hours trying to get my spine back into alignment. I saw Rick’s ad on Facebook one day and decided I needed to at least take a chance at getting healthier. I started in July 2022. It was a slow and rocky start. Life kept happening and I was full of excuses. But Rick wouldn’t let me quit. He remained in constant contact with me through text message always encouraging me along the way. He tailored my workouts to suit my schedule and to my limitations due to my chronic back pain. Sometimes he had to change my workouts several times a week. I’m happy to say that with Rick’s help I have since lost 30 lbs. I have muscle tone for the first time in my life. And best of all, I can’t even remember the last time my back went out. Daman's is next level! I belong to the chain gyms, which is fine but Daman's is the gym that delivers results!! I chose them based off of the feedback and seeing the results of multiple people that I know who belong. I knew also that in order to get results, this was the place I needed to be. The program is built around you as a person. You don't just get the oh here are some workouts and have at it. There was an assessment that showed him what I could do, then he modeled the workouts around that. You have access to them for any questions and help you might need with the exercises. Something doesn't work, he can adjust as needed. He is always a text away from help and also will meet you to go over what is needed. I have access to the gym and equipment at any time during the day which helps tremendously with work life balance. If there is a trainer there they also help with any questions or issues you might have. If you want a gym/ trainer who cares for you the individual and your results, Daman's is the pace for you!!

I have been doing the remote strength training program from home for 3 months. This program is perfect for me!
1-It’s personalized-Rick’s initial assessment showed him my physical ability and he knew where to start my program and change it appropriately for me as my ability improves.

I overheard some casual chatter at Daman's one day - maybe four or five years ago - that a good Coach can be one of the top 5 most influential people in your life. That kind of thing isn't believable until you find yourself 2000 miles away in some gym somewhere, Coach Rick echoing in your mind... "Squeeze those abs". "Pack your shoulder". "Hinge at the hips". And the lessons and techniques and motivation and energy he shares help make a better version of yourself. I’ve been doing the in home training program for just over 6 months and it has been a life changer! Having a job with long hours and lots of traveling and having a 4 year old made going to a gym super challenging. Rick and his team have not only made it easy for me to work out again but found a way to keep to enjoyable. They will go above and beyond to keep you on track and engaged. When I would fall off for a few days Rick and Caitlyn were checking in to see what happened and never made me feel bad for having set backs. Rick has adjusted my workouts based on my travel schedule and made it impossible for me to make any excuses. Having a health condition that makes losing weight difficult has made it easy for me to tap out of programs when I didn’t have the results I expected. I signed up for the online program and it has been amazing. I love that I can do it in my time and in the privacy of my own home. I have lost 70 lbs in 4ish months. While I set out to lose weight, the weight loss isn’t the biggest advantage. I’m stronger mentally as well as physically. I attribute most of that strength to Daman’s online program. It is a great fit for my lifestyle. Rick is very supportive without being pushy. He checks in from time to time and is always available for any questions. Daman's Strength Training has literally changed my life, and life style. I have always tried to workout (at home) and stay in shape, but I hit a plateau when I hit 50+. You ladies all know what I mean. I couldn't seem to get 'back' into shape to save my life no matter what I did, diet or exercise. I started at DST about 10 weeks ago, (thank you Cheryl for asking me to go with you!) and I am ecstatic to say that I lost over 5 pounds and over 10 inches in that short time by doing the DST Indy Challenge. The owner, Rick and Dena, and ALL the Coaches are knowledgeable, encouraging, kind, and are all about over-all health. They always keep in touch, check in with you to see how you are doing and to encourage and help in any way. I am amazed at their level of commitment. I love the people I have met there and I feel like I have another family, a community. The daily workouts and different types of classes that are offered are well-defined, never boring, and always the 'right combination' of exercises and level of difficulty. The Coaches are very patient and will show you to do an exercise no matter how many times you ask for a demonstration. They will also give alternate exercises if you can't do something. I can't wait to see what's 'on the board' for the day. I never thought I would do this anywhere, but I can't imagine not being a part of the DST Family. This is a wonderful gym; no judgement ever, coaches eager to help all members, workouts are preset and coaches are willing to modify for you if you have injuries or handicaps, a family atmosphere, the owners are involved and want to help you reach your health goals, teach you to strengthen yourself and help you nutritionally. I came here about 4 years ago with serious back issues (spondylolisthesis between L4 and L5) and I was in a lot of pain. There were many days when I drove to the gym in pain and drove home with NONE. It took me about 6 months of two workouts per week to get permanent relief. I mean ZERO pain. I am still here and my back has not bothered me in more than 3 years. BTW I'm 57.

Whether you are in shape or not this is a great atmosphere to attend a fitness class of your choice. As a 46 year old I have been attending for about 8 weeks and I can attest to making drastic improvements physically in regards to cardio and strength. Let me just begin with Daman’s is AMAZING, and here is why. I was always someone who worked out at home, simply for the convenience of exercising on my schedule; it wasn’t until A friend asked me to join Daman’s for a four week challenge that I realized just how inept my home workouts really were. That four week challenge has now turned into over two years of working with Daman’s and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Now onto the coaching staff ! this isn’t a regular gym with weights and machines where you go in blind, run on some random treadmill and lift a few weights; this gym has knowledgeable coaches who will work with you consistently to ensure your mechanics and movements are done effectively and safely, they even provide nutritional coaching for every member. Each day at Daman’s brings a fresh new routine that works every muscle group so workout boredom is never an issue, and to top it off if you ever have an area that is sore, just tell one of the coaches and BOOM they modify the exercise to meet your needs. Dave and I have been going to Daman's for 6 years. I (Ginny) started with Fit Mom's Boot Camp. The boot camp showed me how out of shape I was in- despite doing beachbody at home 3 x a week! 9 years ago, I signed up for a 3 day trial and was hooked day one. The gym is my family and my "me time". The relationships built with the coaches and fellow gym members are real. We support each other, motivate each other, push each other, compete against each other, and are some of the best friends I have. The workouts are intense and always changing, but don't be intimidated. Please don't let age be a factor for keeping you out of the gym. I am 49 and this is the best decision I have made for myself. Seeing my family join in the gym vibe and regularly workout is also motivation for me to not quit. The gym strengthens my mental, physical, and emotional needs. I’ve done some form of exercise on and off throughout my adult years. I started at Daman’s in late April of 2021. I was very nervous and hesitant about working out there because I’ve never done strength training and have never worked out in a gym. This is not your typical gym. I absolutely LOVE my workouts there. I have never felt stronger in my life! I love the atmosphere, the rigor of the workouts, and the coaches are very attentive and helpful. Rick, the owner, is so motivating and so energetic, which is so infectious! Dena, his wife, is also a coach and both of them are so genuinely eager to help in any way possible. My husband and I have been members at Daman's for several years. When the pandemic hit, Rick and Dena immediately looked at how they could still keep the members connected. They used FB to create videos (or you could do the sessions live) and they allowed members to borrow equipment. As the pandemic continued, they started an online program. We have been doing this for several months, and we love it!! We receive daily reminders of workouts, and we can do them at our convenience. Rick is always just a chat away if we have any questions. I was having a tendonitis issue, and Rick re-worked the workouts accordingly. It has been a great way for us to stay on track during this challenging time.

My daughter Alicen has been coming to Daman’s for the past three years. She is a less typical client, as she isn’t an athlete in the sense of playing a team sport; she is a dancer and has dance for the past 11 years. To be honest I did not know what I wanted to get out of working with Rick but the results have been life changing. I was in a rut professionally, physically, and emotionally. I was struggling to find myself, while maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Throughout the six-month program, Rick helped me realize my potential and set realistic goals. I was struggling to find myself, while maintaining good nutrition while trying to be the best mom and wife I could be. 6 months into personal training sessions with Rick, which can be brutal, he approached me about this nutritional program, precision nutrition. At first I thought, “Ya, okay this will never work” “I’m busy” or “I don’t eat that” or “will
I never eat that many avocados!” Rick helped me realize my potential and set realistic goals. For example, I never ate breakfast I mean never! We came up with a plan, he gave me options and BAM!! I’m eating breakfast. Rick also is going to check in to make sure you are doing it and if it is going well. The PN program is a program that will also walk you daily through lessons and accountability. It allows you to take measurements and pictures. It provides a ton of information and resources and changes your mindset and creates new healthy habits while creating a personal Owners Manuel. What started out as my desire to just get the blood flowing morphed into how I can improve my diet? By implementing just a few changes through the PN program, exercise and Rick’s coaching, I have already seen such a difference physically and emotionally! Who would of thought I would ever be able to dead lift anything! Say what?!

I can’t express how much I’ve enjoyed working out with Rick! Over the last few years, I had gotten out of the routine of going to the gym,
NOT a good move... had to do something. I have seen results of several friends attending their various classes so gave it a whirl...I’m so happy that I have.
Currently I’m in the one on one program, which I highly recommend... but if you enjoy group classes, they offer a lot of different classes and times slots that should accommodate most schedules.
Rick is SUPER! I’m far from the athlete of the family, 🤦🏼♀️, but he’s encouraged me to push myself to work hard and get better! I haven’t missed a class even in the heat (and I hate to sweat!) He’s going to get me back to my best self! I know it won’t be overnight, but in time, the hard work is going to be worth it!! After a horrible motorcycle crash almost a year ago I had four months of physical therapy & I was left with a lot of pain & minimal movement & I’ve lost a lot of strength during my recovery. So I chose Daman Strength training, I began working with coach Shawn twice a week for the past two months at the beginning of the training program I had sciatica down my right side after training for several weeks the pain was gone enough to stop taking the medication the Doctors had me on for the past nine months. My drop foot & movement has drastically improved over the past two months & I am able to walk without assistance of a cane. The atmosphere was encouraging & each session I was pushed to do a little more coach Shawn was with me & would provide positive feed back & ensure I was operating correctly to get the best results! I highly recommend DST for anyone that has movement issues due to life or if you were in a similar situation as I found myself in!

Daman’s has changed my life. I started with the summer weight loss partner challenge and lost 12lbs in six weeks. In just 3 months, I’m down 18lbs. The coaches are amazing! They keep you moving and motivated and make you feel like a rock star. A traditional gym would never work for me. Daman’s workouts keep you moving for the full hour and the people you’re surrounded by make you WANT to keep coming back. My son has been going to Daman’s for about four months. During that time, he has made so much progress in his strength, agility, balance and flexibility. He has also gained about ten lbs of muscle. Rick and all of the other trainers are amazing!!
Camden was suffering from a basketball injury and just had surgery. Not only is going to Daman’s expediting his healing process, range of motion, and strength, but the mental aspect is the most important. They singlehandedly kept him out of depression since he cannot work out and play ball the way he wants to until he heals. Their positivity, exceptional knowledge base, and the strong family atmosphere are what drives him to want to go every day that he can. We can see the progress on a weekly basis. I have been training at Daman’s Strength Training in Beaver, PA for about 3 months and I absolutely love it! My one on one sessions with the owner, Rick, have been amazing! He is so patient but pushes me to give 110%! I have back problems and plantar fasciitis so Rick is quick to find the best exercises for me, personally. Every one who works there is so helpful and so nice! Plus, the people who attend the classes are extremely helpful too. It’s like a big, sweaty family there!!! I began working one on one with Rick at Daman’s Strength Training about 2 months ago after an injury. My main goal was to regain mobility as I recovered, and quickly return to full performance. From my initial consultation with Rick, my goal became his. Throughout our sessions, there wasn’t a minute or movement that passed without him thoroughly monitoring each of my exercises. He designed a plan, and it’s enforced from the minute we begin, not a moment is wasted. The atmosphere at Daman’s is one of support and knowledge. This place is a game changer! The coaches, the facility, the workouts and the accountability are unmatched. I started attending boot camp classes at this gym about 8 weeks ago and participated in the partner fat loss challenge. In that time, I lost 10 lbs and 3.5% body fat. The experience has been life-changing! While I’m often pushed out of my comfort zone, it’s never too far....just what I need to continue to progress. I started going to this gym about 4 weeks ago after my fiancé pushed me to go since he has been going for many years now. Within my first week of classes, I had Rick and his wife Deena texting me asking me how I was doing and giving me tons of pointers. I also received a postcard in the mail from them saying they were excited to see my progress. All within the first week! I ABSOLUTELY love this gym! Since having My daughter 19 months ago I have struggled with my body. I would lose a few pounds and then gain it all right back. I had all but given up on ever getting back to pre-baby anything.
For a year my mom had been telling me about her workouts at International Institute of Sport & Movement Pittsburgh, but I could never justify spending the money. She finally got me to give it a try as a birthday present and we took on the 6 week partner challenge.
6 weeks of workouts. 6 weeks of a complete nutrition shift. 6 weeks of pushing myself about of my comfort zone. I thought I may lose a couple of pounds or at least learn a few new exercises I could incorporate into my old routine. 6 weeks later and I couldn’t even begin to imagine I would come this far.
12 pounds and 3.6% body fat down. But most importantly I feel better than I have ever felt. I am energized and my head is clear. I am a better wife and mother than I was 6 weeks ago. And now I can’t justify not having this program in my life.
I am not back to pre-baby body/weight by any means. But I will get there and for now I’ll celebrate this milestone and making time for me and my health.

I’ve been coming here since I was a freshman in high school! Now I’m close to graduating college and I still go back to workout during my winter and summer breaks. I have been going to Damen’s Gym & now International Institute of Sport & Movement for years & just love everything about the gym, all the coaches & the new community I became a part of. So when my daughter tore her ACL & we ran out of physical therapy visits I needed a gym for her to continue her rehabilitation and easy to get to after school. I’ve been going to I2SM for a year and I absolutely love it. I am a distance runner that was looking for something to help me prevent injuries and get stronger, and this place has done more for me than I ever could’ve imagined. I can run faster and have more energy to kick at the end of races even if I haven’t logged a ton of miles, and I know that’s solely because of the workouts I do here. The workouts are an awesome combination of strength and also stretching the muscles as you use them. Bad experience here for sure, good people, but costumer service is terrible. I paid ahead for some training sessions (8 sessions to be exact) I used two of them. Then I came down with mono, I no longer could go to my illness and asked for a refund for the sessions I didn’t use. They denied it immediately, they said “due to their policy they can’t”. Yet, the contract I signed to go that training center said nothing about not giving refunds at all. Also, when I asked to talk to the manager or owner about this the trainer ghosted me and hasn’t texted me back yet. It has been months now with no response nor action.

Having been a member of this gym for years myself, I have watched the youth program grow and evolve. Once Zoey was old enough to start I was thrilled to get her involved! As a softball player it was heartbreaking to her when she suffered a shoulder injury and was told she was to rest her arm and do absolutely no throwing. This program has provided her an outlet to work through her injury while working to strengthen the rest of her body and really improve her speed and agility which will certainly have a positive impact on her game moving forward. Not long ago we reached a point in my sons life where something needed to be done for him that would help him in every aspect of his life. On a recommendation from a friend I had my son train with Daman, Moody and the crew going into his senior year for football. The improvement is his mobility, flexibility, agility, strength and most importantly his confidence in an incredibly short period of time is truly amazing! I can honestly say that without him attending the programs he would have not gotten on the field let alone letter in football.
He is currently talking with some D3 colleges for football. This is all thanks to all the coaches at International Institute of Sport and Movement. My son loves going there. The football season is over but he still begs me to go 2 to 3 days a week. These guys have a vast knowledge of the human body and how each and every part should move in order to maximize your performance and minimize injury. Daman’s Strength Training has been an unbelievable experience for my 11 year old. We quickly came to realize that the Progressive Fitness Program is for kids of ALL abilities, not just athletes. My son is not an athlete by any means, but needs major help with his core balance and upper arm strength. Getting him to exercise at home has always been an uphill battle. After our first meeting, Rick Daman told me I know we can help him, give us a chance. Andrew was excited to start training from day one at DST & looks forward to every session. The coaches have been phenomenal with Andrew, who not only lacks muscle strength and is often clumsy, but also has social skills problems. They are patient and always happy to work with him. They somehow quickly found the balance of pushing him, but not over pushing him, where he will be discouraged or meltdown. They are able to adapt the exercises to be challenging, but not discouraging. I only wish we would have known about this program earlier, because DST & their amazing coaches have been a wonderful asset to my son.

Anyone who has ever said 'ugh, I HAVE TO go to the gym' needs to get here..after one week you will be EXCITED to get to the gym! Your current level if fitness doesnt matter..the coaches perfectly train all levels and you will be amazed at your own progress and results. This program has it all..the coaches are well-educated in safe, effective training methods and nutrition, they are motivating, supportive, consistent, friendly and can somehow make an exhausting workout fun. The gym is organized and clean, the workouts change on a regular basis to allow for progression without tedium. The members are so welcoming and supportive..you will immediately feel like part of the group. There are all levels and ages in each group. At 52 I am in the best shape of my life because of this program.

I mean I could write an essay about how much they've helped me get over my gym anxiety or about how I'm actually becoming a stronger and fitter person. The real strength of this gym is the coaches; because I was in the college athlete program I primarily worked with Bryan and Dillion. They are extremely devoted to helping everyone at the gym and have the greatest attitudes. Rick is extremely friendly and passionate about what he does, they all are. If any amount of you wants to check it out, do it. I can't wait to be home from college so I can workout there again. I'm so grateful for this gym and their staff.

The team at Daman's is committed to get you into shape, both physically and mentally! I recently finished a four week Fit Mom competition. Despite the fact that I did not win, I won in my mind! They helped me get back into an exercise routine! All staff members encourage and motivate you to reach your fitness goals. Give Daman's a try!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the GAME SPEED program for my son. I have also found that they have a strength training class for him as well (he is currently only 9 years old!) Can't wait to sign him up!

I joined the fitmoms bootcamp challenge and it has superseded all of my expectations! The coaches are amazing!! They make sure your doing the moves correctly, give you pointers and a good job when your doing something right. It feels like a 1x1 training but in a group session. Dena and Rick are awesome. They are checking in with you and are always available to answer your questions. The other members are all friendly as well. I highly recommend DST you don't want to miss out! You will never get the training, personalization or family atmosphere at any other gym!!! Go join NOW!!!!

When my neighbor asked me to join the Fitmom's , I was a little hesitant. After the first week, I found I was looking forward to the next class and doing things at home to help improve my health. Since starting, I sleep better, feel better and have so much more energy. The staff is wonderful & always there for words of encouragement, praise and even to give that little push when I didn't think I could do it.

I always hated working out and had bad experiences with trainers until I met Rick (the owner) and started working out with him and the other coaches here. This place is beyond awesome. Great coaches who genuinely enjoy being there, challenging workouts and a fun atmosphere. I got in the best shape I have ever been in at 38 years old working out here and I made a couple life long friendships along the way. Anyone thinking of trying Daman's-just do it, you will not regret it.

I'm in my late sixties and was surprised when I realized I had lost mobility and flexibility and strength. I have a fear of becoming feeble in my old age, especially since i don't feel old mentally. A friend, Pam Barnes, was posting about her experience at Damon's. When I asked her if they had anything for someone my age, she had Mary Futato contact me.
I did a 3 week trial. Because I still work, I can only do 1 day a week. But decided to go for the 4 month Perpetual Program.
It's been difficult. I leave there very tired, but feel so great. I can now get up from the floor without having to hold onto something and drag myself up. I'm stronger and can carry heavier weight now. I love working with Dena and Mary.
They are great coaches. I have a rotator issue that's painful and keeps me from being able to do some of the workouts and they always give an alternative. They always make sure you don't do anything that can hurt you. Because of this program, I was recently able to do a 2.5 mile hike in the Maroon Bells Mountains in Colorado. I know I couldn't have done this 3 months ago.
I would recommend this program to anyone who needs to build up their strength.
I don't mind getting older, I just don't want to get old.

I have just completed Daman's three week trial program and I couldn't be happier with my results. So far, I've already lost 10 pounds, feel stronger and I'm so much more energized.
Daman's isn't like your typical gym; its a one hour hardcore, push to the limit session. It's not meant to be easy, it's meant to test you and push you to make you stronger. The great thing is their staff is always available and eager to help you with any questions or advice to help you reach your goals.
I can't think of any other gym that sets you up with a nutrition guide for healthier eating and overall better lifestyle. In addition to nutrition, Rick provides weekly videos to ensure all workout techniques are being completed properly and safely.
Daman's is catered to people of all ages and lifestyles. Don't be discouraged or afraid; there is always someone there willing to help and the atmosphere is electrifying. If you don't believe me, come try it..your first session is on the house!

Damans is a very welcoming gym.The coaches are very personable and helpful. Always checking on everyone during the entire time giving pointers.They truly care about you as a person and will work with you to be the best you can be. I went to Daman's for a Fit Mom's Challenge. The challenge was for me - at the age of 54 - to get more fit. I did Beachbody at home- but wasn't getting good results. I needed coached properly - advice on my diet and good coaching so I could achieve a healthy body. I also did not want to get hurt. That first month was an eye opener -as I was not fit at all. I have been there 1.5 years now - and just love it! I feel so much better and stronger. The coaches are inspiring and keep helping you achieve better results! They even helped me rehab after surgery on my foot- so I wouldn't loose what I had already gained. You should try Daman's - and see for yourself!

Rick and the DST staff have been working with my son for 5 years now......the physical gains in strength, size and speed are beyond measure yet more than that, the confidence and discipline that Rick builds in the patrons of this establishment will last a lifetime. Guidance on nutrition, breaking plateaus, courage in the face of adversity, and the level of support provided outside of the training facility is unparralled in Beaver county and dare I say....region of the state! There are many new facilities popping up on just about every turn but an imitation is always going to be an imitation. Take the time and give DST a chance, you won't be disappointed!

My son plays hockey, and before he started training with Rick and his staff, he had back pain issues. Now, no back pain what so ever due to the core training that he does. Rick and his team motivate, teach discipline and are great at what they do. I can't think of any other group of trainers that I would want to train my son
