My son just finished an Agility course at Daniel Pope Karate in Springfield. He learned athletic skills but also the mindset of a good athlete both on and off the field. We will definitely be signing up for more lessons and highly recommend it for athletes at all levels.

My son has been involved with karate for about 6 months with Daniel Pope Karate. I have seen a whole different side to my son! He is so much more confident in everything he does. He is eating healthy and enjoys working out. He loves going to karate and the instructors. I am so glad we joined and am looking forward to seeing my son develop more confidence and skills with the help of these awesome instructors. I stay and watch my son at every class and i can say as someone who practiced karate, Daniel Pope is the best in the business. He is also very hands on with the kids. My son is also learning much more than kicking and punching and self defense. He's learning life long skills. Determination, Commitment, his new found confidence and so much more. My only regret is not enrolling him with Daniel Pope sooner

I am so grateful for the time I've spent training with Daniel Pope Karate. I came in with personal health and fitness goals and have had so much success, on top of that I have seen the way the discipline and values I've learned at the Institute have positively impacted me in other areas of my life and I am forever grateful. If you want to better yourself physically and mentally through engaging and challenging exercise this is a good route for you I can't recommend this enough.

I’m so excited that my 7 year old has just started at this school! About ten years ago my oldest son was a student and earned up to his orange belt!! He has multiple disabilities (autism spectrum disorder, bi-polar disorder, and lower intellectual functioning), but as a student he was never treated any differently! He was held to the same standards as the other students however everyone was very patient with him as well as kind!!! He often speaks of the time he spent as a student and how positive his experience was while he attended! I’m excited for my next son to start his own journey!!

My daughter has gained strength and stamina as well as building her confidence. She has also learned how to defend herself if necessary. The teachers are kind and compassionate, but firm. At the end of each class Mr. Pope and the teachers review the positive work they saw, as well as go over what the students should work on. Mr. Pope is all about respect; for each other, the parents and the teachers. He makes it a point to lead the students in thanking the parents for the privilege of attending the classes. And personally greets everyone of us as we come to class. It is a great experience for students and parents to be a part of.

Both my kids have attended this school for over 4 years. I have seen an amazing difference in their focus, physical strength, endurance, and self-confidence! The instructors here care so much for all of their students and push them to reach new levels of achievement! I have and would recommend this school to anyone looking for these similar results.

This Karate studio focuses on building character as well as skill in the martial arts. Mr. Pope and his highly trained staff will work with the students individually to set realistic goals, helping them gain confidence while teaching discipline. Daniel Pope karate Institute is the best around! The instructors are highly trained in the art of karate and kick boxing. They not only teach karate and kick boxing skills, but they teach principles. The instructor's stress self control, discipline and respect. I have seen such an improvement in my son's behavior and skills in the sport of karate.

I don't feel enough attention is being given to my son. He's been in training for the last 4 months. Unfortunately I signed a contract otherwise I would have left by now.
