I registered my at the time three-year-old in one of their classes. We attend attended a trial class and she did great so we signed her up. Unfortunately, when class time came, she didn’t do as well. We only attended three classes until I decided to take her out due to lack of participation. When I decided that was going to be my last class, I stopped at the front desk and informed them. I was notified there would be a credit on her account if anything were to change. A few months later rolling into 2025 I called to inquire about doing her birthday party the following month and again was reassured that she had a credit on her account. We decided to not do her birthday party there so my credit was never used. Fast forward to today, I gave them a call because I wanted to give open tumble a chance to see if she was interested to trying classes again. They informed me that there was no credit available. There was nothing on file to when my daughter attended or that there was ever a credit ever issued. The woman on the phone showed no empathy and did not offer me any kind of resolution. Originally, when I asked, she said credits do not expire, but then later proceeded to tell me something that made no sense which basically resulted that they do expire. I ended the call by telling her she was not willing to help me so therefore, I did not want to give them my business to which she proceeded to again, have no empathy for. A message was left a few hours later in hopes of speaking to a manager or owner so I can simply inform them of the lack of documentation and the fact that I feel as though my money was robbed. Disappointed is an understatement.

I’m disappointed by the “gotchya” business model I saw tonight regarding trial classes. I called earlier today and asked some questions about my two children signing up for a trial class. There was no mention of payment. When I arrived, however, I was requested to pay $15 per child to which I declined and left. Usually, trials are free at almost every other business I’ve encountered. The point of a trial is to try out the class or product *before* financially committing to it, so I wasn’t expecting to be asked to pay.

I gave them the benefit of the doubt and scoured the website to see if I missed where it said a trial would be $15. It’s not under the FAQs or elsewhere. I only found it in the fine print of the *registration form*. Why would anyone open up a registration form if they’re only trialing the class? The trial is needed in order to determine whether it’s worth registering! And again, the person on the phone made no mention of payment.

The three stars are only given because I do not know the quality of the classes and don’t want to deduct it unnecessarily. But for customer service and the “gotchya, now that you’re here, we’re going to slap you with a bill that was never mentioned before!” business model deserves 1 star. Ironically, the person helping me was on the phone when I arrived, with a parent who decided to withdraw their children and apparently was dissatisfied about something regarding EPCFA

We absolutely love EPCFA!! Our daughters participate in gymnastics classes. The teachers are very kind and caring toward them - helping the children do the best that they can. As a mom (and former gymnast), I really like the way they are taught. They are learning gymnastic skills on the beam, floor, bars, and vault, building strength, and improving flexibility. We are very pleased and highly recommend it!
