I joined Engage Personal Training in Malvern a year ago and have gained so much strength with only going twice a week. What prompted me to join is that I fell 3 times within a month's time frame. I knew that I, as a person in their 50s and a health major, needed to get back into the gym. Engage is perfect for me. I don't do well in big gyms because there is no accountability. It reminds me of the gym that I had belong to. KC and Vicky are awesome at their jobs and push you once they know your limits. Everyone in my classes are very nice as well.

After a shoulder injury I could barely lift my arm, but six months at Engage has completely changed that. I can now do Deadlifts and push-ups now without pain. Vicki and KC are fantastic trainers. They push you just enough while keeping it comfortable. The small groups make it easy to go at your own pace. My husband and I look forward to our sessions every week!

Engage has had a great impact on my health. I’m much stronger than I was when I started almost three years ago. I’ve learned from KC and Vicky (trainers at Engage Malvern) that consistency is key! You just have to show up and put in the work. They make the workouts challenging but simple and offer alternatives if needed so no one feels intimidated or left out. The trainers are hands-on to encourage or correct form if needed. Class sizes are small so I don’t feel overwhelmed. I also enjoy participating in the community events that they hold throughout the year. I would definitely recommend Engage to anyone who is looking to get (or stay) healthy and strong as they are aging!

I’ve been coming to engage training Malvern for almost a year now and it’s exceeded all my expectations. KC and Vicky are fantastic coaches and their workouts keep things interesting and challenging. I appreciate that they demo the exercises each time to remind us what it’s supposed to look like and to emphasize proper form. They meet every client where they are at and suggest modifications for exercises to make it more challenging if clients are up to it or to work around an injury. For example I had a lower leg fracture (happened outside of the gym) and I had to wear a full boot to my workouts for nearly 2 months and KC and Vicky modified every workout for me so that I could still build my upper body and core strength and some leg strength (I had clearance from my doctor to continue strength training as long as I wasn’t bearing weight on that leg). I credit KC and Vicky with the incredible amount of strength I had once my boot came off. I did not feel like I was starting all over again and several weeks after having my boot off I completed my first sprint triathlon for the season despite not having any time to truly train for the run and bike segments. I appreciate KC and Vicky for their passion for fitness and helping their clients for reaching their goals and I look forward to continuing my fitness journey with them!

The instructors are amazing and the classes are always challenging and fun. The group of people working out are so positive and supportive - you don’t want to ever miss a class (and I don’t). I had KC as my coach when I dropped in. Her energy was very motivating throughout class. She did a great job explaining and demonstrating the movements, as well as finding appropriate modifications for everyone. Honestly, the time went by so fast because you were moving for the entirety of the hour between the warm up, strength and cardio portions. And everyone just seemed to get along and have fun! If you’re looking for a great workout and great community in the Malvern area, look no further!

"Doable challenges that make you feel good, so you can build momentum". This really sums it up. The trainers don't let you slack off, but they're also concerned that you don't exacerbate existing injuries. As a result, after 2 weeks I'm already feeling like I've made progress.

I just had my first workout at Engage Malvern. KC was my coach and I had such a great experience. It was a small group personal training class, 3 other people were in the class and all were very warm and welcoming. The class was small enough where I felt like I was getting one one one personal training attention but also the community feel with other members. The workout consisted of strength training followed by some low impact endurance/cardio. Anyone in the Malvern/Frazer/Paoli area looking for a small and personalized gym setting where you'll see results, I recommend Engage Malvern!

I've been a member of Engage Personal Training Malvern for four months now, and I'm already seeing a significant difference in my fitness level. I've been going here for over a year now. I was a little intimidated at first as I've never worked closely with a trainer before. Katie has been a pleasure to work with. I joined Engaged Personal Training with a bit of apprehension because I was looking for 1:1 personal training, not group classes. After only a few weeks, I’m so glad I joined! The small group classes are a nice balance between group training and 1:1 training. There’s a lot of energy that I wouldn’t get with 1:1 training. Katie and KC are consistently “Engaged” (pun intended!) throughout the class, providing feedback on proper form and providing encouragement. Everyone is supportive of one another. I don't write a lot of reviews, but my experience with Katie and KC at Engage is definitely worth sharing. I was looking for a "safe space" to begin a structured exercise program after many (many) years of a relatively sedentary lifestyle. This has turned out to be an ideal environment for me. I have nothing but great things to say about Engage! I was struggling to get motivated for at home workouts and have always had a bit of anxiety about going to the gym. The small group personal training is something I had never tried and it's perfect for me! The trainers are awesome and we're able to make some small adjustments at first for some chronic pain issues I have and it made such a difference in helping me work through it and stick with the workouts. I never miss a workout which says a lot for me! They also work with you at your level and help you progress from there. Highly recommend!

Here, the workout is dynamic and fun. You work hard and Katie and KC are encouraging throughout the session. If struggling, they modify the exercise to fit your level. Kate,You are great instructor, vigilant to be sure we are doing things correctly and insuring our safety. Your dedication and love of exercise is evident. It's nice to see the exercise industry is in an uprise especially for the older folks who feel getting older means no more exercise. Programs like yours take away the intimidation that keeps many from going to the gym in the first place. For me it restored my motivation and it gave me time away from being home alone all day doing nothing but working on the house. I had knee surgery for a torn meniscus and I’m still recovering. Katie modifies certain movements as not to strain my knee. She really makes the session personal, something you wouldn’t experience at a regular workout. She’s very knowledgeable and energetic! She is also is very informative on nutrition, another aspect you wouldn’t find at a regular gym. Engage, with Katie is the whole package, as I’ve already seen results.
