Long overdue, but I wanted to share that even after trying just one class, I found this to be an amazing program. Although scheduling made ongoing participation difficult for me, the environment was incredibly welcoming, and the opportunities for adults were thoughtfully tailored to accommodate those who are completely new. The community was supportive, encouraging, and genuinely warm. Highly recommend!

I’m currently in the beginner’s adults class which started earlier this month. I initially came here because I use to fence approximately 20 years ago in NY, which I missed a lot. I’m in awe and in amazement of the students here who are fencing from diverse backgrounds and age ranges, and I’m deeply appreciative of the experience. It’s a partial reminder of why I went into fencing.

Jacob and Patrick are amazing coaches and are really patient with their students. They’re really encouraging and they want you to learn, as well as sharpen up your technique if they see that you used to fence.

I would definitely recommend coming here if you want to brush up on your skills or just learn fencing in general. If you do come (especially if you have experience), be kind to yourself, be patient with yourself, and have fun!

The coaches are amazing. I had a very tough time with a certain moves, but the coaches got me through it. I have also made many friends at many locations. The tournaments are fun and I love doing this. As a not very athletic kid, this is an amazing sport and the best place to do it. Everyone is very supportive and I love going here.

This is only our second class, but what an amazing improvement with already saw with our daughter. Coach Patty is absolute gem! These kids are learning so much more than fencing in every class. Thank you for your amazing instructing and all you teaching them! My daughter loving it!

Fantastic place, welcoming of all skills, I learned a lot. Reasonably priced in my opinion for what they offer. They really treat you like athletes regardless of age/skill. Had to take temporary leave for physical issues, but would definitely return if appropriate.
