FRVR Fit has been a blessing to me and my family! After two back to back pregnancies, I was looking to regain strength and mobility. After being a member back in 2020-2021, I knew I wanted to return to FRVR Fit. Steve and his team of coaches care about your personal goals and will help you reach them. Each coach is thorough and encouraging and will push you to accomplish what you didn’t think you could! After 5 months of consistent training, I am stronger than I felt pre-pregnancy. At first I was extremely uncomfortable and out of my element. Being new to CrossFit and the gym I felt overwhelmed with learning the lingo and meeting new people, however, this place has been amazing with helping me to adapt and feel at home. I’ve had a strong rhythm of working-out since my teenage years. I’m now in my 40s and this past year, I knew I needed to stretch myself in a new way. The original plan was to attend 10 sessions to shake up my at-home routine. However, after 5 sessions, I was hooked.
I’ve been going to this CrossFit gym for about six months, and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health and well-being. The coaches are incredible…encouraging, yet ready with gentle form fixes or that extra nudge when they know I’ve got a bit more in the tank. In that short time, I’ve hit personal goals I wasn’t sure I could reach. The community is the best part, supportive, helpful, and downright fun. I usually go for the morning 6:30 a.m. class and after years of trying to get up early, this place has turned me from a night owl into a (surprisingly cheerful) early riser! It’s not just a workout; it’s a place I genuinely look forward to showing up to!

I don’t think I realized how much of a positive impact FRVR Fit would have on my lifestyle. Ever since I joined back in June, I’ve felt a sense of belonging I’ve never felt during any other workout experience. I also feel more motivation to work out each week because I know I am gradually getting stronger as long as I put well deserved trust into my coaches and the process. Most of the time I don’t even feel like I’m pushing myself as hard as I am because the environment is so fun and welcoming. I love every aspect of this gym, and can’t believe it took me so long to find it.

Let’s be clear: I’ve never enjoyed exercising. However last year I turned 40 and realized I needed to start taking my health more seriously. I needed to find a gym that was a) fun b) not intimidating and c) I could just show up and do the scheduled workout. It’s been over a year now and I’m kinda shocked that I actually found a gym that a can stick with. It’s a testament to FRVR FIT. If you’re like me, you should give it a try. I have always been a runner and since having my last baby I was struggling to see my normal results. Even with running combined with at home workouts, my back often ached because I didn't know proper form. I was hitting a plateau and needing something different.
Along with following on social media and my husband going to FRVR I decided to give it a try. Seriously the BEST experience at this gym! The coaches, the workouts, and the community have been a wonderful support to help me reach my goals. It's been the perfect amount of pushing me, and encouraging me. I've been learning proper techniques so my back doesn't hurt after heavy lifting and have felt so encouraged to try hard and challenging things. I never thought I could lift as heavy as I have! Never thought I'd be able to say this, but after about 6 months I can now do 2 pull-ups!
I look forward to waking up early and working out at this gym. The best gym experience I've ever been a part of! Highly recommend!

I followed this place on social media for a few years already because I was interested in this style of fitness, but didn’t think my schedule would allow me to join. Early this year my wife joined and I soon decided to make it fit my schedule. Seven months in and I am definitely stronger and feel better. The dull pain that I often felt in my lower back is almost always nonexistent now. I feel great lifting heavy weights and love the challenge of a high intensity workout. The community is amazing and always encouraging. I can’t wait to show up and do a workout and get ticked if I have to miss one. 😅

I have been at NCFit for 2+ years now after moving to Lancaster and have been truly impressed by the environment created here. I have been doing crossfit for roughly 10 years and can attest that NCFit is unlike the other boxes I have gone to in the way they constructed their community. The coaches greet you by name and welcome you into fold. I have had friendships bloom with other members and it has made my transition to a new city so much easier. It's certainly community building to run into other gym members at market or at rec soccer games. NCFit does frequent workshops, challenges, and low-risk competitions that keep me engaged and give me a goal to strive for. While there is certainly a atmosphere of improvement, the competition between members is encouraging and not detrimental. The team is really accepting of suggestion and responsive to needs like modifications or extra instruction. I look forward to continuing my time here and reaching 4, 5, and 600 classes!

I have never been much of a gym person. I have tried memberships at some of the corporate places but was unsure of how to do things and get the best result. I have had the opportunity to visit at least 10 Crossfit(-esque) gyms and NCFIT is definitely at the top of the list. I will admit to being a bit picky when it comes to gyms and I would sooner DIY my workouts than attend a gym that doesn’t meet my standards. This is what stands out to me about NCFIT:
- Knowledgeable / professional coaches. Coaches know the correct form for movements, review it before workouts, and actively ensure that athletes are maintaining good body mechanics during the workout.
- Safety / injury prevention. Warmups are lengthy and workouts are designed to minimize the risk of fatigue-related injury. Coaches encourage the athletes, but never push them beyond their safe limits.
- Thorough and challenging workouts. I leave the gym feeling like I received a full-body workout, but not so sore that I am unable to return the next day.
- A warm and welcoming vibe. This is an area where NCFIT especially stands out. Not to put down other gyms, but some can be a bit meatheaded (guys strutting around with shirts off). At NCFIT, they take fitness seriously and there are some incredibly strong athletes, but this never compromises the friendly and inclusive atmosphere.
Working out at NCFIT is always one of the highlights of my visits to Lancaster. Both experienced athletes and those new to Crossfit should definitely check it out.

Very welcoming gym & no judgement if you're a beginner. Coaches are among the most approachable & down-to-earth people I've met and I've tried many gyms around Lancaster (Universal, Your Life Gym, UFC Gym, CrossFit Collective, etc.) Small classes around 10 people/session building functional strength. Depending on your fitness goals, there are smaller classes capped at 4 people & 1-on-1 sessions. If you want to check this place out, there are free classes every first Saturday of the month. There's also "special occasion" workouts on Labor Day, Halloween, promos for individualized training, etc. If you're looking for an open gym just to work out by yourself, there are surely better options. But if you're looking for group workouts & don't want to create the routine yourself, this is the place to go.

NCFIT Lancaster is an amazing gym experience and the programming of classes have been key to my progress in overall fitness. I joined in February 2023 and this is the longest I’ve been consistently going to the gym (haha bad I know) and it is because of the classes. I think the key to a good start is the onboarding to learn technique because it can be intimidating at first but the coaches can’t be more accommodating. I think it differs from other class-driven gyms in Lancaster because the detail and effort the coaches put in for you to learn the moves and technique correctly.

ncfit Lancaster gym a name a guarantee (that's what we say in Italy when a place is perfect). today after a year of training with them and with their teachers I can afford to train "alone" thanks to them .. After reading the reviews and stalking their instagram page for what felt like a century, I decided to give it a try. The coaches are super knowledgeable and truly care about proper form and body mechanics. They also will help all levels of fitness make modifications where necessary. The community of people at this gym feels like a family. This has been the kind of gym community I have always wanted to be a part of. If you’re on the fence about trying it out, go for it! The only thing that you have to lose is your lack of confidence in your abilities!

This past winter, I felt like I was slumping with my workouts. I would use the treadmill for some runs, sprinkle in some dumbbell strength training, and hit the mat for Pilates and yoga every so often. I also attended classes at a different fitness franchise, but it always felt too big, like I wasn't getting personal feedback. I started looking into a new gym and then I found NCFit. I love all things fitness, but CrossFit was never a workout that meshed with me. It felt "out of reach". I made excuses that it wasn't for me because I'm not strong enough. NCFit has changed that mentality and made it an approachable workout. I take their NCHIIT classes which perfectly balances high intensity cardio with strength training. I've used new equipment and lifted heavier than I thought I could, thanks to the workouts and coaching at NCFit. The classes are kept small and coaches are always present to provide real-time feedback. I love the variety of the workouts and opportunities to push myself every class. Workouts are posted to the apps used by the studio which helps me plan my week. Coming to class in the morning is truly the highlight of my day and I leave feeling so much stronger! NCFit Lancaster has such a positive atmosphere with a such a tight knit community. Do not hesitate to schedule your on-ramp!

So, I'll try to highlight some of thee best things: The coaches are ALL super kind and helpful although they will also push you to challenge yourself; The coaches do these workouts themselves! Sometimes you'll find yourself in a class with a coach leading and a coach right there with you pushing through a working out and encouraging you; They have modifications and adjustments for all body types and all fitness levels; They give you the tools to succeed and meet your goals; Best of all it really is a community of people encouraging each other to do our best, that's the overall atmosphere of the gym!

I stumbled upon this gym while googling nearby gyms. I loved the format of the workout and it was a great space. All of the other patrons were super friendly and the coach was so approachable and involved the whole workout. I felt challenged as someone who works out a lot but it was very welcoming to all levels of fitness because you could take it at your own pace and scale as needed. So happy to have found this, will definitely be back!

Enjoyed a challenging workout first thing in the morning. Great place for a drop in morning workout. The clas options are nice. Although I would have preferred the more cardio focus class, I went for the class with weights, which was most similar to my normal class. Everyone was friendly and the coach was helpful.

This place is awesome! The workouts are really well programmed and the coaching staff is extremely helpful in modifying because of any injury. The coaches are all excellent and genuinely nice people. I have been to both the HIIT classes and the NCX classes, and both are excellent workouts that will push you regardless of your fitness level. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough.

I just joined NCFIT. Did the on-ramp and started classes last week! I needed a change and am quite out of shape. So thankful I started at this gym. Everyone is so friendly, sincere, & the workouts kick my a#* every single time! With that being said the coaches also take the time to modify the workouts to fit my abilities until I’m able to fully do them. The positive culture at this gym is so genuine. This place is amazing. The staff is so friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. The showed me around a but. The place is very clean and the changing rooms are so nice. I'm just getting back into working out and they made me feel very comfortable. No one bashed me for doing assisted or modified version of the workouts and they encouraged me along the way just like everyone else. I'm excited for my other classes

I started at NCFIT in February of 2021. The plan was to go for a month or two to restart my workout schedule, but have been going consistently 3 or 4 times a week for 6 months. No matter what level you start at, the coaches at NCFIT will listen to and support you to reach whatever goals you have, big or small. Every workout is challenging, however every coach provides modifications to meet your fitness levels. In weeks I started to feel so much stronger and motivated to do more. I leave every class feeling so glad I went! NCFIT provides a motivating environment without intimidation. Come out and give it a try!

NCFIT is a great gym for people of all levels of strength & fitness, including advanced lifters and people working out for the first time. I take the NCX classes and they are a nice combination of strength & conditioning. Classes can be adjusted to your ability so you can push as hard as you want if you are proficient in a lift or go easy if you are new to either the lift itself or new to working out in general. Every class begins with a thorough explanation of how to properly perform the lifts you are doing that day and good form is stressed over just adding weight to the bar. The gym is always clean & organized and its members are always friendly and supportive as well which makes it fun place to workout.

Great coaches and the classes have such a positive vibe! I was worried about doing lifts I've never done before. Turns out i didnt need to worry. They take the time to break it down and the coach walks through giving pointers and tips. I'm not a fit guy by any means and I've never once felt judged or out of place. I joined NCFIT Lancaster December 2020, I have to say that the Coaches not only are knowledgeable, they are genuinely kind, fun loving people. The coaches teach us good form, so that we don’t get injured and they always have something new to do, you will not be bored. I have a couple injury limitations but Steve and all the coaches use modifications and still make it challenging enough for me. There are times when I feel I can’t do it, but they are at your side cheering, saying you can do this! I definitely recommend NCfit 💯!

This gym has literally changed my life. Four months ago, I was out of shape and had almost given up hope on reclaiming my health. Now, I love working out and get there 4-5 days each week. I had been searching since I moved to Lancaster for a group fitness studio that had great options but wasn’t unbearably expensive. I signed up as a pre-launch member and it has been so worth it! I personally know the owner Steve. He’s a local entrepreneur who cares about the community and is passionate about fitness. Cherie is the head trainer is very knowledgeable and professional, but also fun and welcoming. Great atmosphere. I’d classify it as a small, boutique gym. From what I can tell accomadating to beginners like me as well as more experienced athletes.
