I am a Philadelphia based Fitness Coach helping busy people move more, get strong, and build results.
As a business owner and father, I know the struggles of trying to balance nutrition, working out, and an ever-lasting to-do list. But, it’s essential to prioritize strength and movement now, so your body can keep moving later.
Whether through my Small Group or Individual Personal Training sessions (offered online and in-person in Philadelphia), I’ll meet you where you are and work from the ground up to help you build sustainable habits and take control of your fitness so you can start moving more, building strength and achieving real results.

I’ve been training with Guy for over four years now and I can honestly say he is the smartest trainer I have ever worked with. He knows a ton about anatomy and physiology and coaches me how to do each move correctly and engage all the muscles to really get the most out of each exercise. Guy is the only trainer I’ve met who takes the time to work out smaller, often overlooked, muscle groups to better condition your body for both in and out of the gym.
Workouts are tough, but never anything you can’t handle, and Guy is great at coming up with just the right alternative exercise to accommodate any injury. He leads workouts in a variety of areas including strength training, HIIT, technical running form, and kickboxing so there is a workout for you no matter your fitness goals. He is a great trainer in person but I was easily able to lead our group strength training class over Zoom during the pandemic. I was surprised how great of a workout I was able to get, and how well Guy could coach my form, while working out over my tablet in my living room. Our virtual workouts have been a lifeline over the past year.
Above all else, Guy is fun, welcoming, and really cares about all of his clients. He is easy to talk to, and always takes the time to greet and get to know clients, whether they are brand new to working out or have been working with him for a while. Guy will answer any question and will offer you honest advice on how to reach your goals. His passion and dedication to helping his clients is obvious and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to improve their health!

Ground up Training is great for any age. I am 52 yrs old and feel way younger than my age since working with Guy. He is very aware of your limitations as well as your strengths. It would be worth your time and money to come join the Ground Up Training Team.

Guy is an upbeat and knowledgeable trainer who is great with a wide range of fitness levels and focuses on creating safe and sustainable yet effective workouts. Also there will be corny jokes if you work with him.
