Joining the Inner Strength community has truly been life-changing. After years of putting myself last and feeling tired and disconnected from my body, especially after having kids, I finally decided to do something for me. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt welcomed, supported, and encouraged.
The trainers are not only incredibly knowledgeable, but they genuinely care. They take the time to get to know you, push you safely and effectively, and celebrate every win with you—big or small. The other members have become more than workout partners; they’re a true community that lifts each other up and makes every session something I look forward to.
For the first time in years, I feel strong, confident, and proud of what my body can do. I’m excited every day to show up and keep growing. If you’re on the fence just do it. This place has given me so much more than just a workout. It’s given me me back.

Before starting training at Inner Strength I had done the drastic diets, random workouts from apps, tried template based workouts from trainers that rarely checked in. That’s the thing that is different about Inner Strength; the workouts are the same during the month (each day of the week is a certain workout and they stay during the month) which lets you try to increase your weight or reps depending on the workout. Each day is also a different muscle group yet always includes core workouts. I also enjoy that the trainers have different intensities or modifications if you need them. I realized it was working when I actually enjoyed waking up early and going to the gym. I never enjoyed waking up to go exercise but the environment makes it desirable to get up and go. I am definitely going to gain confidence in myself and hopefully will be losing weight and inches. The trainers enjoy watching you succeed where you thought you couldn't and will even challenge you because they know you can.

I joined Inner Strength with weight issues & general lack of physical conditioning. I was coming off dual knee replacements. I found the smaller classes, flexibility of scheduling and the personal attention to my weaknesses and strengths refreshing. I couldn't do anything on the floor and that was okay. We laugh, we encourage each other, and it's fun. Three years later, I can do things I never thought I'd do, I'm lifting weights I never expected I'd even consider, and I can get down on the ground. I'm far from perfect, but I'm
so much better than I was.

I’ve had chronic back pain my whole life from a spinal deformity, so working out was intimidating because I didn’t want to do more damage or pull back muscles (which is easy for me to do). Inner Strength helps me modify and customize to my needs, while also pushing me to reach my potential. After two months, I realized how much progress I made when I was helping with an event at my kids’ school that required me to squat then stand, several times, over a 3 hour period. I did it with no pain and was not out of breath. I didn’t even realize how much of a non-issue it was until another mom commented how hard it was for her. I realized that would have been me two months ago! I’m looking forward to getting even stronger and not letting my back issues dictate my life anymore. Thank you Inner Strength!

I came to Inner Strength after a knee replacement. I didn’t want to walk like I was 80 when I was not there yet! Love how they accommodated any special issue I had. Love being with women my own age. Appreciate what they are doing for us and our health!!

I was looking for some extra motivation to help me lose about 30lbs, but my demanding work schedule makes its hard for me to schedule specific times to workout or meet with a personal trainer. The Inner strength program was perfect for me because I can do my workout when it's convenient for me. I also really like the app and how it has short videos of each workout and allows me to message my trainer whenever I have any questions. I have been with the program for 3 months now and I plan on keeping it for the remainder of the year for a total of 6 months, as I prepare For my 50th birthday in January. I also have a friend now that is going to try out the program after she saw me using the program! I also get to meet with a trainer monthly for a one on one session, which is also very helpful because I can get additional instructions for the workouts and I just overall enjoy the one on one time! Everyone that I have worked with so far has been very nice and helpful! I definitely would recommend the program to all of my friends and family!

I’ve always been into fitness but if you asked me when I’ve seen a major transformation I would say it's only when I joined Inner Strength. I had a weak core, was unable to do basic core exercises and Ryan caught that the very first assessment he did with me. I was given a routine that fits my busy work schedule. Jess is an amazing trainer, guided me through each step and challenged me to do more than I ever thought I could manage. Only 4 sessions in and I could feel the difference in my body. I have solid core strength, my form has improved and my body tells it all! I’m super excited to continue this fitness journey. I highly recommend you start yours with this team. A big thanks to Jess, Josh and Chris, you guys are amazing!!!! Even through my whining, you guys didn’t give up on me! 🙃

I originally enrolled at inner strength about 11months ago, with the intent to tone up prior to my son’s wedding, and after 6 months stop. However, I was so pleased with my results and enjoyed the workouts so much I continued on . The trainers are well educated, willing to accommodate and improvise for medical conditions, and are always positive, energetic and encouraging. I like the relaxed atmosphere as well.

As I aged, some of the bad health habits of my life started catching up with me. My doctor repeatedly suggested losing weight and being more active. I tried to work out on my own, but I couldn’t get into the routine for more than a week or two. Inner Strength was an appealing option because they focus on people in their 40s, 50s & 60s. The classes are small (up to 8) and at convenient times. They tailor the workout to each participant, taking into account your fitness level and any physical challenges (e.g. bad backs). After 3 months going 2 times per week, I am more flexible, have more strength and have more stamina. Most importantly, I feel more energetic when I get out of bed in the morning. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next 3 months!

I knew I needed to get working out but never really did weight training or much else at a gym (beside a stationary bike and elliptical). The personal training that I receive from Inner Strength is the difference! The coaches are very good at teaching proper technique and motivating! Im already feeling stronger, healthier and have more energy!

I started at Inner Strength in May 2023 after spending five years with a personal trainer doing functional strength training. Though I had no issue with my trainer, I was looking for a change to a small group experience. Looking back over the last year, I have enjoyed the group of people that are regulars in the classes which is usually three to eight people. I also like the format of upper, lower and metabolic workouts on different days. I look forward to the workouts each week due to the comradery of the other clients and the high level of skill sets of the coaches and how they modify workouts for individual needs. It is also important to me that the coaches are diligent in ensuring I have the proper form and it feels like a private session within the group.

I have been going to Inner Strength for over 2.5 years. I had tried other gyms but found most of the members were much younger, and the programs weren't working for me. So when I saw an add for IS and noticed they focus primarily on 40+ year olds, I gave it a try. I’m so grateful that I did. I wanted to tone while building strength and thats exactly what I’ve done over the past couple years. Plus, IS has wonderful Coaches that help me to challenge myself while ensuring proper form (so important).
In addition to the physical routines, IS also focuses on nutrition and mindfulness while making the sessions fun. And I love working out with the other members…a great group of people.
Check it out, you’ll be glad you did!!!

I saw an ad on Facebook for this gym that claimed to be for women like me. I was skeptical but decided to give it a try. It truly was one of the best decisions I have made. As I was getting older I knew that I needed to do something. The classes are run in a way that you can work with your own individual abilities and pace. I recently had an issue with my wrist, the trainers worked with me and made adjustments to the exercises so that I could continue with my classes. The other folks who I work out with are fun and encouraging! I look forward to my gym days and can’t believe that to be the case. I know it is going to be a long journey for me but with the knowledgeable and incredible staff I am certain that I will get where I want to be.

This is an update 😉 I'm coming up on 3 1/2 yrs here at Inner Strength, and it's been the best decision I made after moving from the city.
I want to give a huge shout out to this fabulous family. Ryan InnerStrength Claire InnerStrength Matt InnerStrength Tyler Alan Bordick aka Doc Jessica InnerStrength. I have literally gotten my life back. I can get up and down off the floor without a problem, I'm up to 6 mile hikes. I can ride my bike for 20 miles, no problem. Cleaning the tub, a breeze and it used to be painful. Hanging a shower curtain holding your arms up that long... not a problem anymore. It's not about how much you weigh or how skinny you are. it's about being able to do everyday life chores. I'm so happy I found this gym/family. We have each other backs and encourage each other daily. There is no comparison unless it's to yourselve. We have picnics and trivia nights and also do good things for the community. I'm not good with pictures, so I don't have a before and now, but I'm down a solid 30 pounds and many inches. If you are ready to make a change, this is the place! Also, I've met and have become friends with some amazing peeps.
20-month update... If you are ready for a lifestyle change, this is the place. Inner Strength is not just a gym, it's family. They are there every step of the way to help you reach your goals.
I started out with neck, back, hip issues, lack of energy, and motivation. I am now 25 lbs lighter, have built muscle, and I have way more energy. I am back hiking, biking, and have participated in a couple of 5K's.
I realized the difference when my daughter told me I needed to buy new clothes that fit. I hated shopping for myself before, but not that time. I LOVED it. I will continue to work on making myself stronger and healthier with the help of the Inner Strength team, which consists of very educated coaches and a PT on staff. They make make modification in your workout if needed, and they also keep you on track with fun challenges every month. There is also a dietitian on staff for dietary help. During this crazy time with closures and changes, Inner Strength has stepped up and kept us going with Zoom classes and are always checking in on us. We are now back in the gym if you choose with changes there also because of covid. I can't wait until the day we can push the sled, punch the punching bag, high five, and HUG again, oh Trivia nights too! This is hard work and dedication. There is NO easy fix, but if you're ready for the change, this is definitely the place for it to happen. Give them a call.

WOW, is all I can say. I am coming up on 6 years with InnerStrength, and I can not thank them enough for all the help with getting me strong and much healthier over the years. Down a solid 35 pounds and way stronger. I feel pretty confident in saying they are part of the reason I recovered from a total hip replacement in record time. I was told by my physical therapist that I needed to slow down and take time to heal from the surgery , even though I was ready to dance . My new hardware isn't. If you are serious about getting healthier and stronger, this is the place.

Before joining Inner Strength, I tried my local gym and also working out at home. I found those environments weren’t the best fit for me. As a former half marathon runner who took a few years off, I wanted to get active again and maintain a consistent strength building program. I’ve experienced low back pain intermittently for years, and I knew regular exercise would help alleviate that inflammation and build the strength I needed to start running again. Inner Strength has been a great fit because it offers small group sessions with a personal trainer who is very hands on and tuned into your individual needs. The sessions are offered throughout the week and several times a day, which has been extremely helpful for making sure I’m consistent with my weekly training. The trainers are friendly and upbeat, and I knew Inner Strength was the right place for me when I told my trainer that the workout session was the best part of my day. They make it easy to prioritize yourself and your health! I feel strong and proud to be an active member of the Inner Strength community. It truly feels like a family. My teenage daughter started a youth athlete program at Inner Strength first, and we have both enjoyed our programs. My low back pain is diminished and I feel stronger than ever. My daughter hasn’t experienced any knee or ankle pain since starting her program at Inner Strength. We are so grateful that we heard about this amazing team, and we see a bright and healthy future for us both with no pain and renewed strength to participate in all the activities we enjoy.

I joined Inner Strength as a last ditch effort to prevent myself from regaining the weight I had lost for the hundredth time in my life. I also realized that my strength and balance were getting worse as I was aging. I can’t express how beneficial it has been. After just two months, I have already noticed changes. I am so much stronger! I’m able to get up off the floor more easily. Measurements were taken at the start and although I haven’t been remeasured, I feel that my clothes are fitting a little more loosely.
Everyone at IS is so friendly and welcoming. If you have a particular injury or weakness, they modify your workout for you. They treat you like family, even having events and get togethers if that’s something you’re interested in.
If you’re on the fence about giving it a try, I say, GO FOR IT!! You won’t regret it!

I wasn’t exactly sure what I needed when I stumbled upon Inner Strength. All I really knew what that I was in pain and exhausted all the time. I was told I needed to strengthen my core and move. I really wasn’t sure how to achieve that. What I found was not only instruction and a place to work out but an awesome staff that provides simple concrete instruction that’s continually modified for me and my fitness level. The people I work out with are a fun group as well !! I started in October of last year and I’ve already lost inches and a few pounds as well. It’s so worth the effort because I’ve gained so much energy and strength, plus the confidence to keep going back!!

We found IS through a recommendation on a local Facebook group and we added it to a list to try out for my young son. We had a trial there first and he was instantly sold. After trying a few other local gyms, we signed up for the Athletic Training classes. In just a few short months, our son has made visible improvements and is more confident. He looks forward to going to class each week. The staff has been incredibly friendly, attentive to his needs, and pushes him to a level he didn't know he had. We look forward to continuing classes at Inner Strength!

This summer, after MONTHS of seeing the ads on social media, hovering over the ads, I finally made the decision to click the "get started" button to check it out. BEST decision I could have made. I love it (which I never would have thought I'd say) I love the coaches and the other members that I've gotten to know in the few months I've been coming. They make it actually fun, and everyone is so supportive. I'm diabetic, overweight, getting older....and it was past time to just get healthier.....stronger. I like that I can walk up to my second floor now and still be able to breath and hold a conversation. Highly recommend!

I started strength training at Inner Strength in June and in the 4 months since I’ve started, I’ve noticed a great difference in my abilities to do even the most basic things, like walking up steps.
Having dealt with obesity my entire life, I made some major changes last year, including having gastric sleeve surgery, but the strength training has truly helped me become a lot stronger!
My mobility has increased tremendously, by making simple tasks like tying my shoes, so much easier! I have much more flexibility and range of motion from working out there several times a week!
Even though lower body days can be tough (I love upper body days!) I am thankful for the trainers at Inner Strength who offer encouragement and support, and are constantly on the mission to ensure the exercises are being done properly so that I can reap the most benefit from them.
Yes, there are days when I wake up sore from using muscle groups that hadn’t been worked in a while, or my legs and quads are sore from too many squats, but it is a good and gratifying kind of sore, letting me know that I got a good work out and reminding me that I’m only getting stronger!!
Thanks Inner Strength!! I look forward to working with you for years to come!!

I decided to go to Inner Strength because I was doing traditional workouts and then Covid hit and the gym ended up closing permanently.
Inner Strength’s program is designed with exercises for the older of us in mind. The exercises are developed in such a way to make daily life easier.
I wanted to work on flexability and the strengthening, of my legs, arms and back, plus the reduction of my gut.
I like that the trainers are always there to make sure that you are doing the exercise correctly and to adjust the exercises for your physical issues. This helps to prevent new injuries and to prevent the further damaging your existing physical issues. There is also a PT there to help when needed.
I can now more easily use the stairs. The strength in my arms and legs helps me to do more in my everyday life without all the groans. My back is so much happier now too.
Being with “age mates” gave me a sense of belonging. No one is gawking at you through a window while you are doing the routine, making you feel uncomfortable. We are able to speak to each other as well as the trainers during the workout. We all enjoy laughing and talking with each other, and look forward to seeing each other in class. It’s like family.

What an experience this has been! When I first looked into attending Inner Strength, I was concerned that it may not be a good fit for me. I have a few physical issues - a torn rotator cuff and a bad foot. After meeting with Ryan, he assured me that I would be able to participate in the classes - that actually MY participation would be fine tuned to understand/include my shortcomings. SO TRUE!! From Day 1, Luke, a fantastic Coach, streamlined all my exercises so I could join the rest of the group! After a month of classes, three times a week, I feel wonderful. I am accomplishing what I set out to do. Be patient, take my time, notice a difference in how my body feels. I look forward to continuing my healthy exercise schedule and appreciate Luke being so respectful of my needs!

I found Inner Strength per chance on instagram and was pleasantly surprised to find it was close to my house. Reading how they specialize in working with people like me…pain and physical issues…I set up call, met my trainer, and signed up!
I’m only a few weeks in but I have noticed a change in my motivation and I attribute this to Jess, who is hands down the best trainer! Jess challenges me yet works within any limitations I have…and I leave feeling as I’ve accomplished something.
I’m currently doing 1-1 training and started that way because I wasn’t sure how a group training would work for me. After seeing group sessions I will do that next time. However, I would recommend starting with 1-1 because I think it has helped to formulate a plan best suited to me.
I haven’t gained back my inner strength but I feel very hopeful that Jess will help me get there!

I couldn't be happier with my experience at Inner Strength. I joined to learn the right way to use strength training and to have more individual instruction than a large chain gym. I have gotten exactly that. The trainers are knowledgeable about the science and I have seen big results. I am slowly losing weight based on a calorie count and increased protein intake. I absolutely love it and would highly recommend it to anyone over 40 like me who was looking for a sustainable program for diet and excercise.

A year and a half ago I made one if the best decisions for myself. I decided it was time I get healthy since my job has me sitting 8 hrs a day for the past 30 years. When I found Inner Strength Physio Fitness Athletics and began a 6 week trial program I quickly realized this place was unique in its approach to health and fitness. For the first time in my life I actually looked forward to exercising. You see the personalized training and guidance I received is what truly made the difference. Inner Strength is not your typical gym. They offer nutrition counseling and meal plans for those who tend to eat the same things or like me who eat everything but don’t track what I’m eating. They have small class sizes which enables the coaches to modify the workouts to the individual if you have injuries or limitations. What made me search for a place was my knee problems and I had been getting shots every 3-6 months just to be able to walk up steps. Since joining Inner Strength I haven’t needed any shots and steps are no longer a problem. I am stronger all over, my balance is improved, my nutrition is in check, and I sleep better!

Before I started my journey at Inner Strength, I felt like I had no energy and felt Blah. I had been successful with using my Peloton, but got bored of the same things every day and felt like I wasn’t going anywhere. Since starting, I have been feeling more energetic – normal chores around the house don’t seem as bad! I feel 100% better now. I used to have a twinge in my knee and that is gone! I also never thought that I would be able to do ab and core exercises successfully on the floor, but here we are and I’m loving it! I came to Inner Strength in August 2021. As someone who always struggled with their weight, I found that entering my 50's and a more sedentary life, due to the pandemic, was not making it any easier. I came to Inner Strength during a 'bring a friend' week. That one session changed me. I am forever grateful to Paula S. for the invite, for the warm reception from the other ladies, the time Matt took during my follow up phone call and subsequent visit, and the dedication of all the coaches (Matt, Doc, Claire, Jess) that have passionately and expertly supported me on this journey. My first goal was simple: get up from a chair using my own strength and not push off. I am pleased to say that goal has been achieved, as well as many more! Shout out to Doc Tyler for all of the physical therapy, modifications to exercises to match my fitness level, and for providing me with a PT plan to keep me strong!

I started here because of sciatica, making driving for longer than 15 minutes extremely painful and I drove long distances for work. I had terrible balance, had several falls and eventually, a broken wrist. I was, as my doctor said, “ morbidly obese”, had high blood pressure and was depressed. With my physician’s ok (always check with your doctor first!) I tried Inner Strength for an 8 week challenge. I found the small group provided the attention I needed, no hiding here. The coaches watch and modify the exercises to you. I lost 30 pounds, went off my blood pressure medication and found my perfect place for working out. THE coaches and Doc CARE! The other members are encouraging, this is the REAL no judgment place. Two years later, my balance is so much better, I no longer have issues with sciatica, my flexibility is better, and best of all, I can lift my grandchildren without fear of falling. Oh yes, I went from wearing 1x, (pushing to 2x) clothing down to wearing a large sometimes a medium. Love you Inner Strength!

I was recovering from a total knee replacement. Could not walk up and down steps normally unable to get down on the floor with my grandson to play. Unable to sleep on pain pills. Felt like I was wasting my life away. Totally disappointed in the way I looked and felt.
Going to therapy through my orthopedic did not help. I had tried curves and LA Fitness in the past and it didn’t feel like they cared. I was just another number/member. No outside motivation was given when I was there. Inner Strength made me feel that I really mattered! They worked with me one on one from the get go. They gave me confidence and encouragement. I felt like I was a part of the family from day one.
I am now able to walk stairs normally, get down on the floor and play with my grandchildren. I feel stronger and more confident than before. I’m also able to sleep more soundly at night. I’m not always tired throughout the day and do not need any pain medication to get me through!
The coaches truly put their best work forward and make sure we have everything readily available for every situation. They ring the bell as recognition for my personal accomplishments, no matter how small! Knowing that if I hit a bump in the road, they are there to help me through it has helped me keep peace of mind. I love the interaction with the other members and coaches. Their friendship, caring and encouragement mean the world to me.
I am so proud of myself. I feel that I can finally really enjoy life. Do things that I never thought I could do (went water tubing with my family on our last vacation). I would encourage anyone who feels that their life is a mess, who has tried in the past and failed to definitely give Inner Strength a try. It works. I am proof.
Inner Strength has given me everything I wanted and needed. I could not be happier. They are family to me. I am so thankful for it all. Inner Strength has been the answer to my prayers.

Since joining Inner Strength in January, I'm down 17 pounds and 14+ inches. Instead of being something I dread, exercise has become something I look forward to. The experience is supportive, personalized and collegial. Highly recommend!

Joining this gym has been a great experience. I feel stronger and have more confidence when trying new things. Claire has been a great trainer. She keeps me motivated and makes class really fun while keeping it challenging. Each class is about an hour, but somehow it goes by quickly. I appreciate the personal attention that Claire gives to each person because it makes a huge difference in keeping people on track and motivated. Thank you, Claire for making it fun to go to the gym!

When I started Inner Strength, one of my biggest frustrations was being out of shape. I had bought a high end treadmill that kept me occupied for awhile, but needed a real person to help with my motivation. I had never been to a gym before joining Inner Strength. I'm now 1.5 years in and the biggest eye popping result is the sign of muscle tone! This truly helps me stay motivated through it all. All of the different techniques that the coaches use that help promote fitness are inspiring to say the least! I would never have pulled a sled, hit a punching bag, used the ropes, or done medicine ball slams before starting - Now, I can do it all and absolutely love doing it. Feeling better about yourself improves so many areas of your life. Relationships with family and friends are improving because my head is in a better place. There's definitely still room to grow, but I'm so excited to continue the process here. The coaches really do care! They want to see everyone succeed in reaching their goals, no matter what the goal is. Inner Strength is always constantly evolving and considering what the current needs are within the gym. They're always resetting their own bar and I truly appreciate everything you have all done and continue to do! For being my first gym - it's the best!!

Thinking about yesterdays workout. I went into the gym feeling a little out of sorts(probably the weather). But by the end of class my energy level was sky high thanks to coach Clair and Doc. This team has definitely helped me make some positive changes in the right direction. Joining the group is the best decision I've made in years. Thanks Inner Strength family .

Headed in to 2022 with some major aches and pains, feeling older than I should and needed to get in better shape and lose weight! I was not thrilled with my previous gym and really knew I needed to find something I would attend regularly and could address my specific issues/needs. Found Inner Strength and have never looked back. I love the the personalized meetings to help you roadmap YOUR individual goals. The atmosphere of working out with women who are in a similar condition/place in their life, the small group atmosphere, the recall/enthusiasm/feedback of the trainers to make the program work for you has had me loving it and not only dedicated but looking forward to going 3x/week since the beginning of the year. So far this year have not had any of my recurring back issues nor one doctor/PT appointment related to my aches and pains, instead of copays, I am paying for my membership. I am seeing progress…increased flexibility, mobility, decreased pain, some weight loss, and the desire to keep on improving each week with the sessions. Never get bored, love the atmosphere, and love the class availability. Thanks IS team for helping me toward my goals of being a better, happier, healthier version of myself!

I joined Inner Strength simply to be able to get up off of the floor without help of a table, chair or a hand....I also realized that, at my age, I needed to do strength training if I intended to keep up with my grandkids for the next 30 or 40 years. The program is designed to gently help those of us in this time in our life to become strong again without injury, that's truly rare. I've tried many gyms, this one is different. First of all, they care, they don't just say they do, they really do! My individual goals and my personal physical health is not only my priority, it's theirs. I'm learning that I can do this no matter how bad of shape I'm in and I'm so thankful. It's a come as you are atmosphere, you will not be embarrassed or feel out of shape. Today, for the first time in a long time, I am finally getting up and down from the floor with NO HELP! When I started I had little faith, but with the help of some fabulous coaches training me, I'm killin it!!! (Well sorta) I won't stop now, it feels good to actually see results again, I never thought I would. So, if you're reading this, don't give up, give it a shot, you'll see for yourself. Plus, it's a lot of fun too.... :)

As a runner, I kept finding myself in physical therapy over and over again. I knew that I needed to strength train but also knew that I would never do it on my own. I saw an ad for a six week challenge and decided to give it a shot. This is such a caring place! The class sizes are small by design so that everyone can get the attention they need. The trainers go out of their way to modify exercises so that I can do them and repeatedly assure me that I WILL SUCCEED. They even message you when you haven't been in to help you stay accountable. It's a truly personalized experience!

When I came to Inner Strength a few months ago I felt older than my age. I was always tired, my knees would just HURT for no real reason, or if I was doing too much moving. I had only gained, (never really lost) weight in the past six years, it seemed to be on track to get worse. I was honestly scared of following the path of so many family members. Lots of health issues run in my family. Everyone else chalked it up to "getting older" but I didn't want to settle for that. I knew I had been in shape once, and wanted to again. This gym (thank you GOD) has made a huge difference in my life! If you want a place where you can go anytime, and do cardio, lift weights, or use machines until you're satisfied, then go about your life- THIS. ISN'T. IT. It's so much better! Sessions are small (7 people at most) and there's a trainer there who walks you through various exercises that change monthly. It's great if you're like me, and likely to hurt yourself trying to workout on your own, or maybe won't push yourself hard enough. They always push you to do just a little bit better than before, and watch to make sure you're doing exercises right. They are adamant about no one getting hurt. Being able to come just two to three times a week is helping me to gain strength in areas I never thought I could (hello upper body!), and confidence in ways I never had before. The trainers really show they care, and it makes all the difference. They're real people, they act like it, and it shows in every check in call (yes I get check in calls with my membership where we go over healthy principals I want to instill in my life), in every session, and even in down time where we're just laughing. I realized that this was the gym for me not long into my six week trial. It really only took a few weeks to know I wanted to stay for a long while. I knew when I realized I wasn't tired all the time, my knee had stopped hurting frequently (for no reason), my mood had even improved enormously. I just felt BETTER. Now that I'm back on track to being "in shape" (which I've realized is just being healthy), and even learning to eat in a way that cares for my body, I have so much hope that I can avoid all many health problems that run in my family. So many of them are triggered by poor lifestyle. With the help of the Inner Strength family I am feeling less like "feeling old" is inevitable, and the health problems don't have to drag me into a spiral of disability. I can't wait to see what I can achieve with the help of these wonderful trainers. I really hope to one day look back in my sixties, or seventies and see that I'm up, mobile and able, because of the healthy living I started learning now. I want to be able to pick up the kids I work with for a long time, to bend over, or lift without hurting my back. From the workout programs I've seen so far, that is very, very likely. Thanks Inner Strength Fam!

I took the 8 week challenge at Inner Strength in an effort to get back to a healthy lifestyle. I love the small classes focused on strength AND mobility - perfect for an aging lady! There is a lot of personal attention - something that you will never find at one of the bigger, chain style gyms we are all familiar with (and I’ve worked out at several over the years). Oh - and I lost over 15 lb - even with an indulgent vacation in the middle of my 8 weeks! I highly recommend Inner Strength! So much so that I just signed up for a membership!

Dr. Tyler helped me recover from an elbow injury that was holding me back from barbell work. We saw each other for four sessions, where he provided some intense muscle massage/manipulation, exercises I can do at home, advice and one-on-one technique work. My elbow is better! Never once did he suggest that I stop or slow down (except maybe on cardio LOL). He somehow makes even the tortuous fun. Thanks, Dr. Tyler!

I was referred to Inner Strength to help with chronic pain in my hip due to prior surgeries. I thought I would have to have a third surgery to help with the pain. I worked with Dr. Tyler and over the course of roughly two months I was completely pain free and back to doing my normal activities. As someone who doesn’t spend a lot of time in gym, I never felt intimidated and Dr. Tyler was very professional. I highly recommend going to Inner Strength over anywhere else!

Hi! My name is Diana and I want to give a bit of background on why I joined Inner Strength! I work in accounting and sit most of the day. I have arthritis, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and so on. You know, right? Before I joined, I lacked any motivation or strength. It was hard to complete daily tasks like house cleaning, yard work or walking the dog without feeling the aches and pains. My energy level was pretty low. I previously worked with a trainer in another gym but I felt like the exercise's/ weight training were generic. I felt they only focused on my weight and not how I felt in my daily life. They didn't focus on me. After working with the coaches at Inner Strength, I now feel like I have more energy for the little things in my life. Another fact is they help you get on a meal plan and incorporate better eating choices. I used to over-indulge in sweets and bad carbs and it made my arthritis worse! Now I know how to portion and make better food choices so I can continue to feel good so I am able to be more active. What I have to say to anyone on the fence about this... I was too, but if you really want to get better, this is the place! It will be one of your best decisions!

I always have struggled with my weight and with a lack of confidence in my body. I often have lost weight, only to put it back on again. Although I had lost 50 pounds prior to this past crazy year, during quarantine I “found” 20 pounds of what I’d lost! I felt sluggish, discouraged, and unmotivated. Then I found Inner Strength! My trainer, who also is a physical therapist, worked with me to determine specifically what I want to achieve, and provides an individualized plan to get where I want to go. He and all the trainers provide the support, suggestions, encouragement, and the occasional kick in the pants (in the most positive manner) I need to take steps toward my goals. They create a safe environment where every member is accepted without judgment and is treated with tremendous kindness and respect. They empower us to think and make choices – small steps at a time - in terms of improving our overall health, not just a focus on weight loss which can become defeating. They also work to create a sense of family among all of us who go there. Most of us are “mature” women, if you know what I mean, at every possible stage of fluffiness and fitness. Everyone cheers everyone else on in individual achievement, and we genuinely care for each other. No matter how I feel when I get to the gym, I always leave knowing I’ve worked hard, I’ve done more than I imagined I could, and I have had at least one really good belly laugh! I have lost inches, gained muscle, and am developing better habits in caring for myself. My self-confidence is increasing and I have a more positive outlook. And I am making friends for life. I couldn’t ask for more!

I joined Inner Strength March of this year just prior to the COVID restrictions; after seeing Facebook posts related to women over 40 looking for something different and life changing. My weight loss journey had plateaued about half way to my first large goal. I saw the posting for a six week challenge and figured I had nothing to lose, I'd see if it worked and hopefully get a jump start on my way to finishing my second half of my goal.
Probably the best most life changing decision I have made. That six week challenge ended many moons ago, but my journey with IS continues. How they operated without missing a step during the shutdown, getting everyone up and running on online and live Zoom workouts was nothing short of exceptional. You could even "adopt" equipment if you didn't have any at home. Everything you needed to continue to be successful and continue the health journey was still available, just not in person.
I've never been involved with a group that cared so much about your full wellness; mind, body and spirit or made themselves so available to the members. For me, the accountability and knowing they also have a vested interest in my success and well-being has made the difference. Anything you need, they are there. Physical limitations are no issue either, they can adapt any exercise or assign you a slightly different one that doesn't negatively impact your specific issue. Not to mention if you do have something you need addressed, don't live with the pain, Dr. Tyler is on staff to get you back to being better.
Thanks to Claire, Shane and now Dr. Tyler, I am changed for life, in the best way possible. It hasn't been smooth sailing the whole way for me, but with the programs and support, the bumpy times have been just that, bumpy; whereas in the past they have completely derailed me.
I am more optimistic about looking forward now, knowing that I have the tools to manage this one key area of my life, my overall health. I find myself in a place I feel I would probably not have been if not for Inner Strength; and closer than ever to my goal. Ryan really has put together something special with this program and this team. My only regret would be seeing the posts on Facebook way too long before I finally made the appointment to start that first challenge.

I started at Inner Strength about a year ago for a couple of reasons. First I have bone on bone arthritis in my left knee, I had a previous partial knee replacement on my right knee 7 years ago. I wanted to build up strength to hopefully avoid another surgery in the near future. Second, I broke my arm in 3 places 2 years ago and I have been very hesitant to use it or put pressure on it when exercising or other daily activities. Third, weight loss & to improve my exercise regime!
I feel stronger and energized when I am working with the team! Working one on one with Dr Tyler is helping me build strength and I have gained more flexibility in my knee as well! The team is always pushing us to do a little more but also making modifications as needed! I am proud to be a part of this great facility and would encourage anyone to give it a try!!

I am 60 years old, overweight most of my adult life and have become increasingly sedentary. I took the 6 week challenge and I'm hooked! I just finished my 7th week and I've lost 17 pounds! For the first time in a decade, I can touch my knuckles to the floor without bending my knees! And, I have also gone down one size in my jeans and t-shirts!
July 2020 Update: I have now been going to Inner Strength for almost a year, now. When I came I was a sedentary 60 year old living alone and realized that I was losing my ability to care for my home. I have arthritis, several back problems and I was very overweight. While a number of my physical ailments will always be with me, my stamina is greatly improved, my mobility is much much better and I've lost 40 pounds. My balance is getting better, too! I believe this plan works best for me because I need to make an appointment to be there and the staff is friendly and kind. This is not a "beat the fatty into submission" kind of place. Adjustments are made to the exercises based on my abilities. We get an ab-workout every time because we laugh a lot! Because of Inner Strength, I can take care of my home and I can do things for myself that I had to ask others to do for me. I'm looking forward to continued weight loss and mobility improvements.

Love this gym!
Before coming to Inner Strength, I struggled with having the motivation to work out regularly. I belonged to a large national gym chain, but I felt like I needed to “force” myself to go. I was lucky if I made it there once a week. When I did go, I wouldn’t push myself and I’d end up quitting easily or staying for less time than I intended to.
What’s great about Inner Strength is the support I get from the coaches and other members, and the structure, which has kept me working out three times a week for a year now! I realized the Inner Strength format was working for me right after my initial 6-week challenge, at which point I decided to become a member. I had no idea I’d be able to keep my workout schedule so consistent, and It’s because I truly love going to Inner Strength. My body has definitely changed. I have so much more muscle tone, and I feel better physically and mentally than I did a year ago. I’ve always wanted to find something that keeps me working out on a regular basis, and now I have! I’m excited to keep going because I’m growing stronger every day.

I started going to InnerStrength about a month ago. I had hit a wall in my fitness journey was about ready to throw in the towel. I needed a workout that wasn’t boring, I needed to see the results on the scale, and more importantly I needed some self confidence.,
The minute I walked in the door to sign up I felt welcome and comfortable. InnerStrength is more than just a gym, they are a fitness family. They care about your goals and focus on what you and your body needs to get you there. When you are going through a rough time and can’t make it to the gym they check up on you to make sure you are ok and still working towards your goals.
In the short time I’ve been there I feel so much better. I’ve lost 10lbs so far, and my confidence in myself is getting better. I am currently participating in the 6 week challenge but I plan to be there much longer. I will hit my goals and then some with the help and encouragement of my new fitness family. I highly recommend giving them a try. You won’t be disappointed. Everyone there is awesome!!!

I started working on improving my health i sep 2019 but did not have an exercise regimen. By march i had plateau'ed. Just about the time quarantine hit here, i saw the 6 week challenge ad. I knew i needed personal contact and support, plus profesdional help for longstanding issues from a 30 years ago accident. And when i saw the remote zoom classes, i signed up. More money than i have ever spent on workout related services, but reasonable compared to the general personal trainer market. I am very happy with the skill and support provided at Inner Strength. And the ability to access nutrition and physical therapy services onsite has been invaluable to me. I am on a slow but steady weight loss path now that is SUSTAINABLE. I give credit to the Inner Strength staff for seeking to understanding my challenges and helping me work through rhem without trying to make me want the same things they do. And their patience and resilience in complying with health regs while trying to provide the best experience possible to members is outstanding!

Inner Strength Fitness is not your typical gym. They work with you no matter where you’re starting, including having Dr. Garin on staff [Dr. of Physical Therapy]. Wow!
It’s hard to believe that at this time last year my arthritis was so bad, I could barely walk!
And that I would be having a total knee replacement come January...
I started working with DrGarin Physio in April, and haven’t looked back! Garin has helped me strengthen my knee and drop foot, has given me confidence to try new things and work out again, and keeps me motivated and accountable!
The whole staff at Inner Strength: Physio. Fitness. Athletics -Formerly WadeTrainedis so welcoming and encouraging! It’s like a big family atmosphere, everyone cheering you on, wanting you to succeed....
And I did! This weekend I participated in my first 5k in years...I can’t wait to see where the next few months take me! Thank you Inner Strength: Physio!
If you are in a funk, or need a change...I highly recommend you check out the 6 week challenge at Inner Strength. Or, come join me for a session during our next Bring a Friend week!

I am SO excited about this gym!!! I was a MESS this past May! I am 58 years old, used to be in good shape, typically wore between a size 6-8, but my body stopped cooperating with me once I hit 55- menopause, the death of my mom, a thyroid issue, the suicide of a childhood friend, death of a former co-worker... the loneliness soon became downright depression and I found myself sleeping all day, with very little or no energy or even motivation to even get out of the house!😩😩😩 Even my size 10s were too tight! Hell, I refused to buy a size 12 as that was the size I needed after my daughter was born 30 years ago!
All my clothes were too tight, my waistline was non existent so I drank wine, ate ice cream and cried ! In the past Joyce Meyers, motivational speaker, and KLove radio would get me back on track, but not this time 😩. I was so depressed but this time I didn’t even care- I had given up! A fat belly and flabby back fat was just my destiny, or so I told myself as I stashed yet another bowl of Ben & Jerry’s in my ever expanding belly!! That’s when I hit my rock bottom...
After a desperate prayer for help from our Lord above, I stumbled upon a Facebook post from Ryan Wade- not sure if it was a dream or reality, I took the quiz, listened to the video and signed up for the free class! If this gym really did target older women like me, it’s worth a shot!
So I went there, met with him, and began my journey back to life!
Here I am 7 weeks later, I had them freeze 1 of my 6 weeks in the Challenge because I was headed to Florida as my daughter had planned to move there this summer! My daughter encouraged me to keep going and not give up, explaining that her other friends with moms in my age group seem to “live at the gym”! “Hell mom, what else do you have to do?’???”
Boy am I glad I did! Drumroll please.... I lost a total of 12” and 3% of my body weight!!! 😁😁😁Only 5 lbs in weight because muscle weights more than fat but...I lost 1.5” off my neck, 2” off my shoulders, 2.5” off my chest- back fat!!, 3” off my waist, 2” off my hips, 1.5” off my thighs and .5” off my bicep- bat wings from upper arm!!! In just 7 weeks!!! 😱😱😱😁😁😁
My clothes fit again and I could not be happier- I am wearing some of my daughter’s clothes now!!! I feel SO much better about myself and now find myself actually WANTING to go to a concert at Hartwood Acres or meet a friend for lunch!! 😁😁😁
The coaches there are so kind and supportive- I found myself crying due to frustrations as I had let my body become so very weak! 😩 But no one laughed at me! Shane simply listened and offered gentle words of encouragement throughout the journey reminding me in his ever so sweet tone of how little I was able to accomplish at the beginning! The difference between this gym and others that are cheaper, these trainers care and take the time to notice the progress you make along the way! They also know how to adapt the exercises to meet your specific needs! My balance was adversely affected by my stroke in 2003, but I hide it well. Claire took the time to compile a group of exercises I can do here at home to improve my balance! Like all good teachers, each and every coach will greet you by name as you enter the door!
I could NOT be more excited AND I met some super nice women!
Take my advice, try this place!!! You WONT regret it!!!

This place is amazing!! Everyone, at any level, is welcomed and supported throughout their journey - both by staff and by classmates!
Don’t let the size of the space fool you. There is a lot going on! I take classes three mornings a week and the variety of exercises keep things both interesting and challenging, all resulting in a level of fitness that I definitely would not be able to
achieve on my own or sticking to the cardio equipment at a big gym.
The trainers challenge you to work hard and be your best but they aren’t overbearing and in your face. They support you in a way that makes you want to push yourself!!
In the first six weeks, I lost 9% in body fat! In total, I lost 4lbs, 1.5 inches in my thighs, 2in. in my waist and 2 inches in my shoulders. I couldn’t be more thrilled.

I've tried several gyms over the years, and I have to say that WadeTrained is easily the best one. From the very beginning, you feel welcomed and not just a number. The trainers are all awesome and will work with you regardless of any limitations. They're with you every step of the way. Combined with small classes of equally supportive people, you will be pushed but not in a way that you will ever jeopardize your health - because they push, but they also care and make sure you're doing everything correctly. And, again, if you can't do something? They will work one on one with you to modify it so you're still getting the most out of your workout while taking your limitations into account. And, not only are they there for you during the class? With Facebook, Email, and the Apps, they're always just a click away. This isn't just a gym, it's definitely a supportive little family who will help you get to where you want to be!

I knew I needed motivation and direction to get a workout plan started. I like that there are other women at the gym to work out with; and after talking to them, I've realized that they are just like me. I can see the progress that they've made and it motivates me to continue and see more improvement for myself. I also like that the classes are small enough that you get personal attention. What works for you may not be the exact same thing that works for someone else, and the staff is great at modifying exercises so you can see improvement until you can move on to harder exercises. In the first few weeks, I noticed that I had more energy and it feels great when I can increase my weights for an exercise because it proves that I'm getting stronger. I'm looking forward to continuing to see more results and have fun while working out with my new gym family.

I saw the ads on Facebook for the 6 week challenge that Wade Trained offers. I have never been big on working out but knew I needed to do something to improve my health. I didn't want a typical gym experience and I wasn't disappointed.
From the moment I walked in the door for my intial meeting I felt at home.
The coaches care and do everything they can to help you succeed. I was challenged and supported every step of the way.
I want to thank everyone at Wade Trained for an awesome experience!

I had reached a point where I needed some help with my weight loss goals. I am the type of individual who likes diversity. I knew joining a gym, doing cardio and working my way through the weight machines would bore me quickly. I was looking for something more and I found that at Wade Trained. If you are looking for a place to outline goals specific to you, push you to your limits, alter exercises if you are feeling some strain, give you all the tools you need to succeed along with a phenomenal staff then Wade Trained is the place for you. I have more energy, I feel stronger and want to keep pushing myself to see what else I can accomplish. This is the place to be if you are looking to reclaim your health and weight loss goals.

Due to staff changes in the past year, I cannot recommend this business. Even though I had expressed my disappointment in this business, ownership still has my photos promoting the business on their Facebook page. Not cool. I do NOT recommend.

I started at Wade Trained because I lacked motivation to exercise regularly on my own. Plus, the idea of a gym and program catered to women just like me was a huge selling point! Be forewarned though, this is not your mom’s Zumba class! The workouts are always fun and full of variety, but still remind you that you’ve strengthened muscles you forgot you even had. After only one week, I felt bad missing a workout and I knew I was hooked. Wade Trained is a perfect balance of individual attention and group motivation. I look forward to continuing to work towards my personal goals with the help of the awesome coaches and the support of my new fellow fitness crew!

After many years of the elliptical and treadmill and not seeing much of a result I finally realized I needed to also do some type of weight training. I didn’t want to do the typically machines at the gym as I get tired of them and lose interest quickly. I heard about WadeTrained Fit Mom Challenge through a friend and decided to contact Ryan to see if this was something I might be interested in. From the minute I sat down with him I could tell he is very passionate about what he does and is very interested and invested in helping a person achieve their goals. I decided to sign on for the Fit Mom Challenge. I was a little nervous going in for my first session but quickly become comfortable. The people and atmosphere are amazing, and the workouts are challenging but very doable. Even though everyone is doing the same type of exercise they do a great job of modifying each exercise/routine to fit individual ability. I have never been a person who enjoyed working out and thought of it more as a chore, but within the first few weeks of training I started to look forward to going. I highly recommend WadeTrained Performance. They have helped me get back on track and want to workout again.

About 3 or so years ago, my office offered for us to take part in weekly workout sessions as a group at a local establishment. About 2 years ago that facility closed and a new one opened up down the street. However, after trying to keep up with the younger ladies from the office, I opted to sit out from the new place until I could find something more my speed and style. 2 years later, after not working out I was just feeling heavy and blah. In my mind, I was going to start with home workouts of various sorts but never did. There was nothing or no one to keep me accountable, and it was too easy to come home after work night after night and just sit on the couch and tell myself I was too tired to start anything. My eating habits were awful and usually just a late lunch and quick dinner of whatever was easiest to prepare. I was gaining weight and hated it, but couldn’t figure out a plan of action to improve without wasting time and money on anything that I would either not actually start or eventually just give up on.
I saw the posts for the Six-Week Challenge, I had seen them off and on before, and this time I thought, Why not? I’ll try it and see if it’s something that I can fit into my day in a way that I can live with and not give up.
With the help of the nutritional counseling and workouts, 3 weeks in and I was feeling better. Couldn’t say exactly how, but I just knew that I felt better. One of the other ladies told me that they could see a physical difference, even if I couldn’t yet. 6 weeks in and challenge completed, and I am in for the next year and hopefully beyond. The coaches and ladies are warm and welcoming, and the class sizes are not overwhelming. Even in the group setting, the workouts are personalized to the individual’s abilities and any aches or concerns are addressed immediately.
I am just back from a Saturday morning session and feel great, and I am looking forward to many more.

So I decided to jump on the “new year, new me” bandwagon like so many people do. But unlike most people who give up by January 2nd, thanks to Wade Training I’ve stuck with this program and love it! As soon as you walk in the door you feel welcome. There is no judgement ..just total support to reach your goals. What I really like is that this is not your same old treadmill boring workout. The 60 minute class goes by so fast and is fun( yes I said exercise can be fun!). Within the first week you will have more energy and your clothes will feel better. Wade is not a gym. This is a total health center. When your body feels better so does your mind. If you are reading this thinking ohhh I need to loose 5 lbs or I need more energy...this is your place. You are not just a number here. The staff truly cares and will help you reach your goals. Don’t make another excuse like I did. Make the call!!

The staff at WadeTrained excel at making you feel comfortable right from the moment you walk in the door. We recently completed our first training session with Ryan and it was a great experience - he is knowledgeable, attentive and eager to help with any training related questions or issues. Most importantly, we could immediately tell that he really cares about his clients - my wife was pretty anxious about starting to work out again, after a prolonged break, and Ryan made sure all her concerns were addressed + put her to ease. I'd highly recommend this place for anyone looking to start their fitness journey.

Been attending class since March 25, 2018. I love the energy or the trainers, each month classes are different and I get that good sore all over again! The downsize, no real locker room and the evening class is limited to only 2 times it is pricey.

The WadeTrained experience has been awesome!!! Great trainers and wonderful members. I started at WadeTrained three months ago and have seen big results. I travel allot for business and the Wade staff got me back on track. As a middle aged man I was getting those aches and pains getting out of bed each morning and after a few weeks those aches and pains went away. Wade has been great as they treat and train everyone as an individual. If you have an existing injury or joint issues the trainers will give you exercises that produce results without worsening the injury. I have had a few knee surgeries and hip issues due to sports. Working with the trainers at Wade has made my body stronger and able to be more active. I have WadeTrained to thank for the way they have made me feel. I would recommend the folks at WadeTrained for anyone looking to start or continue training. Keep up the great work WadeTrained!!!

Before coming to Wade Trained I totally had given up on trying to lose weight. I have no will power and no accountability. I joined the ignite challenge because I knew there would be woman like me that were totally out of shape and could not imagine going to one of the "big" gyms and working out. 1. Because of being out of shape and 2. Not wanting to be judged. So I had the first one covered and soon found out that Ryan and his team do not judge. If you need modified exercises, they find it and still encourage you to do more. In two weeks I've lost 10 pounds but still have so much more to lose. Oh, did I mention the indivualized meal plans? Well, that was no easy feat for them because there is so much that I won't eat but they worked around my taste. After this challenge I plan on staying on and achieve my weight loss and fitness goals.

Getting back into the fitness game after a 6 year hiatus was tough for me, mentally and physically. I had joined numerous gyms, tried at-home workouts and taken more 21 to 24 day challenges than I care to recall. I reached out to a fitness professional via Facebook and got connected with Wade trained immediately. I haven't looked back. It is a small gym, but it supersedes it's "big gym" competitors in almost every way. I was looking to be challenged, I was looking to be strong and more importantly I was looking for results. The workouts are challenging, but what doesn't challenge you doesn't change you. In less than 3 months I feel like myself again and I have Wade Trained to thank for that.

If you've been thinking about joining a gym, but are worried about failing, boring routines, or a huge room full of tons of others using machines. WadeTrained is definitely the gym for you. I love it there. All of the routines are designed around your needs, there are small groups of people at a time, and the trainers are great and take time to talk and LISTEN to you. I joined in April and not only do I feel great but, I've lost 20+ pounds. I was a total "couch potato", depressed and had no motovation. When I joined WadeTrained, I had problems in the beginning, then Ryan and Tyler really kept me motivated. Plus I've met some great people🤗 Just give them a try. I promise you won't regret it.
