I left my original review based on my personal experience with the gym — not just the cancellation policy, but also the atmosphere, facility temperatures, and how I was treated. Rather than addressing those concerns, the owner responded with personal attacks and unprofessional language, which only reinforces my original point about how members are treated here.

What I wrote reflects real issues I experienced during my time as a paying member. Calling me “butt hurt” is not only inappropriate, it’s dismissive of honest, legitimate feedback.

If this is how the gym handles constructive criticism, I’d recommend others think twice before signing up.

I am blessed to get to travel and hit locally owned gyms around the country. For upper body, Iron Factory had everything I needed and more. Some of their Precor pieces I have never used before, so, that was fun to try some new pieces.

Legs got killed. Smooth guide rails and cables, if you are passing through, this is the spot.

Staff is super friendly and personable. Dave the owner is a super nice guy (but his dog Cash is the real attraction.)

If I pass through again, I'll be back.

As an Anytime Fitness transplant I hesitated on pulling the trigger because there was no trial. With that being said, you can convert a day pass into a membership and they'll waive the day pass fee. The photos and walkthrough on their website do not do this gym justice. I hope they update that soon because if I knew how much larger the gym was post renovation I don't think I would have hesitated. I'm willing to bet there's an audience of potential clients in the same boat I was in. I feel like Mr. Bean walking around this place. There is so much to do and a large amount of space to stretch your legs.

There is equipment here I've never seen in my life and I've been working out for 10+ years across many gyms, not just at Anytime Fitness. The equipment is in excellent shape and you can tell the ownership takes care of this gym just like someone would take care of their home. You won't find a similar 24/7 gym in the area with this level of quality equipment and cleanliness, all at $62 a month for the 24/7 access. I'm really happy I pulled the trigger on Iron Factory Gym. I took some pictures and uploaded them for anyone else who is hesitant.

This is the best gym in the Pittsburgh area. It is has extensive strength and cardio equipment, including an outdoor fitness area, and personal training. It is extremely clean and well maintained, as are the locker rooms. The staff is always happy to help with anything you need.
The owner is always engaged with members and his training clients.

Iron Factory Gym is a great gym. Ive been a member of multiple gyms, and Iron Factory is the cleanest and most organized gym I’ve been to. The equipment is top notch and new equipment is added frequently. The gym owner is respectful and willing to work with you if you need assistance. The best gym in western Pennsylvania, if not the entire state. I travel a lot for work and have never found a gym that is this good. I’m lucky to live so close. There’s always a lively atmosphere and great community of people training there too.

Best gym in the area for a price that is far cheaper than any custom gym like it. Iron factory is always clean and well maintained. Atmosphere is great, you can give it your all and not worry about being kicked out or offending. Regular memebers are great, always courteous and respectful. Owner and staff are always taking care of the place and providing support. Equiptment selection is awsome and feels like new! Wouldn’t recommend wasting your money elsewhere if you take training and fitness seriously.

Excellent, clean, and organized gym. The rules are simple, workout and clean up after yourself. Some fail at that but not the gyms fault. Owner is nice and easy to get along with. If you want a gym where weight goes over 80lbs then look no further. If you’re scrawny don’t be intimidated, just work on you. Ask for help anyone is willing to to give pointers.

I've been a member of the gym for about 4 months, and I'm very impressed by the professional atmosphere. The owner, Dave, is very engaged with members and staff, and runs a tight ship. The place is also super clean, which may be a small detail, but to me it's a big deal. If you want a place where you can be mentored/coached, and you're willing to put in the work, this is the place for you. It's not a place to mess around. Be respectful of others, their time, and their space, and you'll be fine.

Pricey, but worth the money! Both the equipment and the vibes here are top notch. Everyone is super friendly. Everything is great, but there are two things that really make it stand out from the rest.
1. Iron Factory isn't just clean, it's IMMACULATE. I would eat off of the floor at this gym. The air somehow smells like fresh linens at all times and there's never so much as a spec of dirt to be found.
2. I'm not exaggerating. This is the only gym I've ever been to where people actually re-rack their weights when they're done with a machine, which is a literal miracle!! At every other gym out there, it's the norm to walk up to a plate loaded machine and find hundreds of pounds left behind by the previous person, but thankfully not the case here!

While visiting family here I got a chance to check out this gym and absolutely LOVED IT!!! the vibe was perfect. There was a lot of equipment but also a lot of space, everything was perfectly placed. By far best gym in the area without driving past equipment. Clean, nice people, equipment is maintained. Great place to lift. Freeweights and some of the better machines you could ask for. Why on Earth would I go to an LA Fitness when it may be slightly bigger but the equipment isn't even on par. Dave is constantly seemingly trying to improve the entire place as well. After just moving back into the area this gym is a god send. It took me 4 months to find iron factory. For those looking for the purple participation trophy gym class this is not your place. All top of the line, brand new,exceptionally maintained equipment. Iron factory is a lifters gym. Owned by a lifter. The locker rooms are exceptionally clean. There is a great vibe here from the beginner to the experience lifter all are welcome. I saw someone just jump on and spot a guy because they saw he need help. Dave and company have changed my life. I have been to many gyms and never felt at home or that anyone cared if I came or not. Dave has taken an old broken man and walked with me every step of the way. At 5’8” and over 300 pounds he and everyone at the gym has helped and treated me as well as professional body builders. In just 5 months they made me see the true value of thier gym and I am near 60 pounds down. If you want a down to earth gym to do work and get results without all the BS. This is the place !!!

This is the complete package! Best gym in the area by far. The equipment is far better than any gym I have been in and the owner keeps the equipment clean and fully functional.
